13 Nights of Halloween 2021 edition

*** Prefer CLEAN makeup / nail polish (clean ingredients) *** *** fair trade or organic food / tea / coffee / chocolate when possible *** 8/8/21 Would you be interested in a cross stitched Halloween ornament? Sure! I would probably hang it on the wall though? I don't have a tree. And it should be good for all year since I display gargoyles/grotesques, bats, skulls/skeletons/bones, corvids, etc. all year. No pumpkins, witches, zombies, scarecrows, or a lot of orange please. 8/11/21 Are there any collage artists in the mix? I would LOVE to curate one of spooky autumn goodness if my person were to be interested! As long as it is more bones/ravens/bats/goth and not harvest/orange/pumpkins. Have you seen the Dragon con list? & would any of them appeal to you? I have a fairy. Which Harry Potter house are you? I am pissed at JKR because transphobe, but I still love Harry Potter, so it's ... difficult. In the olden days, Pottermore always placed me in Hufflepuff (eew, yellow! but .. honey badger? YES HONEY BADGER.) but on Ravelry in the House Cup group I was a Slytherin (probably because I had made Slytherin things for other people and some snake things, haha.) Which is hilarious because I'm way more attracted to Gryffindor and Ravenclaw. I do adore badgers though. 8/12/21 Do you like any art from these two sellers? They are local artists and I will probably pick up some stuff for myself soon! https://www.etsy.com/shop/CaitlinMcCarthyArt -- I like The Faun (Straight out of Pan's Labyrinth.) https://www.etsy.com/shop/BatinYourBelfry -- oooh! Plague Doctor pin! The Black Dog Runs at Night (TWIN PEAKS YESSS), Hour of the Wolf pin (OINGO BOINGO!), GHOST STEED PIN, ok, there are a lot. I added them to my etsy wishlists under stickers, pins, and art. I love Krampus, Black Philip, Mari Lwyd, etc. Prefer FRAMED if possible, SILVER colored things... I make beautiful and very lightweight yarn-and-ribbon hairfalls - would you like a set in the colors and length of your choice? If yes, name up to four colors and length in inches! Black, silver, purple, blue! ummmmmmm I'm not sure on length. Would you appreciate a skein of handspun yarn? If yes, what weight? What colors? How do you feel about beads? Any allergies to typical fibers? It depends -- plied, yes (not a fan of singles.) Semi solid or gradients. Fingering (500-600 yards preferred), DK, Worsted, whatev. I prefer blacks, greys, purples, blues, blurples, blackened red (like MadTosh's Tart), jewel tones. No neons or pastels. I have 6/0 beads but I don't make beaded things (with knitting) very often. O_o I'm very allergic to acrylic. I really prefer merino and silk. Now, larger beads for bracelet and necklace making is totes different. I would love beads made from stones (obsidian, rainbow obsidian, labradorite, amethyst, hematite... anything silver, black, purple, blue, green.) Do you like stickers? Patches? Buttons? Yes, meh, maybe. Pins for sure. Do you spend time in the outdoors? Unfortunately? It's freaking HOT or freaking COLD here. Neither of which I enjoy. Also I have chronic respiratory issues and the smoke is awful here. I have N95's just to go outside to feed the animals. I miss the Western side of the state. Do you enjoy cooking and/or baking? Yes, but rarely get to do it since I'm staying with family and one of them is a total kitchen / food control freak. 8/13/21 The Paintbox Soapworks Weenie collection went live today! Would you like anything? Fairytale in Bath Struesel or Sorbetto! Hex on the Beach bath streusel or Sorbetto! I've always wanted some of the Clean Slate scrub too! Other favorite scents are GTFO and Blackbird. Any of the sorbettos in the sample size is great. Red Cow bath streusel sounds amazing as well. And Rice Pudding. OMG, Man in the Moon! Queen is Dead! The Pickety Witch is taking pre-orders for their new Halloween pins (estimated ship date: early September). Have any caught your eye? I love them!!! Vampire Bat enamel pin and Black Phillip - Autumnal are probably my favorites. I've had Black Philip on my wishlist for years now, lol. Vampire Bat looks new! Zeep's Spooky Collection drops some time next week. Here's the scent list. Would you like any wax melts, candles, whipped soaps, sugar whips (whipped soap/scrub hybrid), body butter sugar scrubs (moisturizing scrub), meringues (lotion), bath bombs, or bath rocks from Zeep? I have never tried Zeep! Bath bombs, bath rocks, whipped soap, sugar whips, and body butter sugar scrubs all sound amazing, assuming no parabens, phthalates, SLS, etc. I do have a wax burner too! The scents that sound good to me are: Boo-nilla Scream, Hocus-Pocus, Jack-O-Lantern, Season of the Witch, Candy Corn Sugar Cookie. Wax: Ghost Stories, Haunted Mansion, Halloweentown, Fireside Pumpkin, Candy Corn Cake, Pumpkin Queen, Salem. 8/14/21 Does anyone here like vintage halloween? Sometimes - I'm into bats, crows, skeletons - so vintage of those is fine. I don't care for the vintage cats / moon / people. Vintage Krampus is perfect. But y'know, for Yule time. It seems like a lot of shops’ Halloween lines have items related to the same standard fandoms, such as The Nightmare Before Christmas, Hocus Pocus, Disney’s Haunted Mansion, Beetlejuice, Addams Family, etc. Do any of those (or other ones) particularly resonate with you? I'm not a huge fan of Hocus Pocus but I love the rest (except Beetlejuice -- I like Lydia and other things from the movie, but not Beetlejuice himself, lol. They did way too good a job of making him hideous.) NMBC is my fav and I love the Haunted Mansion and Addam's Family. How do you feel about atmospheric/novelty scents and novelty food items? Things like "new car candle" or "eyeball jawbreaker" or whatever. I'm not too excited about "new car" scent but if, say, it's in a pack with other stuff I like -- like the car jar pack I have on my wishlist from Yankee Candles then yes. I like the non-harry potter brand butter beer stuff that comes out around halloween - I might have one a year just for fun (I *rarely* drink carbonated things.) Meh on novelty candy. If you like tea, how do you want it delivered? Loose? Bags? Tiny little messenger pigeons (subject to availability)? I prefer loose leaf tea and I can always use more 32 oz tea brewers that dispense out the bottom, like the ingenuiTEA. Would you prefer to receive ONE HUGE (more expensive) GIFT and 12 inexpensive ones, a few more expensive, or all about the same price? I'll let it up to my 13 Nights curator! What are your fandoms, if any? Firefly, NMBC, Doctor Who, LOTR, The Locked Tomb, Labyrinth, Princess Bride, V for Vendetta, Sandman, sooo many more in past blogs that I can't remember off the top of my head. Witcher, Umbrella Academy... Do you collect things like tarot decks? If so do you have a wish list or a list of ones you already have? Would you like a silk tarot bag? I have: Crow Tarot, Wise Dog Tarot, NMBC, Game of Thrones, Last Unicorn, and a Vampire deck somewhere. I would love the Dark Wood tarot! And I'd love a silk tarot bag or charging crystal slabs. Do you like rocks/crystals? What colors / kinds? Would you like them with holes drilled (either as a pendant - you'd need to stick a bale in, or a bead?) yes! all of them! Especially black moonstone, moonstone, howlite, carnelian, sodalite, rose quartz, blue green kyanite, rhodonite, black heart rhodonite, garnet, black opal, mystic merlinite, zebra jasper, crocodile jasper, red tiger's eye, lepidolite, lapis, dragon blood jasper, lemurian crystal, malachite, septarian, ruby kyanite, citrine, ruby, garnierite, rubellite, dumortierite, black kyanite fan, labradorite, spectralite, aqua aura, hematite... anything blue, purple, grey, black, rainbow-y or that has helpful properties. So like, everything. I like palm stones, towers, pocket pebbles, spheres, bowls, pendants, beads / holes drilled, cabs, chunks, druzy, everything! My mom has an etsy store - she makes bags. Do you love anything from it? I love all kinds of project bags, dice bags, bpal bags. I adore sugar skulls, bats, ravens, anything gothy. Cotton or canvas with satin lining. Silk. yesss. I pick out a lot of the fabric for the store (hence all of the skulls and NMBC and mystic things, so you can see an idea of what I like.) Let's say you want something knitted. What are you most interested in? I have a "make for me" list on Ravelry, lol. * What colors would you prefer said knitted object in? black, grey, purple, blue, blurples, greens, blackened reds, jewel tones. No navy, orange, yellow, brown, cream. * Stripes, gradient, semi solid, variegated? Stripy mitts or socks, gradient mitts, shawls, shawlettes, infinity scarves/double cowls. semi solid is good too. * What type of yarn would you prefer? I prefer merino, merino silk, mcs. mcn is ok. I love tencel shawls or shawlettes too. Are you interested in receiving any of the following homemade / home dried / home canned goodies? YES. I would love to try almost anything!! lawardrop makes spectacular canned goodies too. 8/16/21 How do you feel about oracle decks? I have a kickstarter one on order - The Knitters Oracle. Haven't used any other ones but I'm open. Would you like witchy/ritual oils/sundries? Any limitations (e.g. deities you won't work with)? yes! I have only worked with Hecate and Expedite. Open to any. Is there anything you would like to try from the UK specifically? (e.g. Lush exclusives) OMG YES. Bird & Blend tea, LUSH, Whittard tea, chocolate -- I'll add things to my Amazon wish lists (tea is under beverages, chocolate under snacks, LUSH under bath / body.) My son loves future primitive's ghost smoke whipped soap! I hope they make some this year, last year they only did soap and conditioner. Oh, and are you into astrology? Not super, as I don't know my birth time. I've always wanted my chart done accurately. (Virgo. Metal dog.) What size shoe do you wear (inc wide/narrow, etc)? It depends on the shoe! Most fluevogs women's 12 or larger except a couple styles that are 11. Most other unisex type shoes are probably men's 9, women's 11. Women's shoes are probably a 12. So weird because I was a women's 10 forever and all of my 10's still fit me? I'm probably wide since my feet are swollen - kidney issues, whee. Do you like/would you want to receive comic books? Any favorite genres or characters? Nah. Graphic novel compendiums are great and I have some on my amazon wish list but they're $$$. Would you like a palm stone, or anything else, from Haute Macabre? OF COURSE. Witche's Cross pocket pebble, moonstone, black moonstone, howlite, carnelian, sodalite, rose quartz, blue green kyanite, rhodonite, black heart rhodonite, garnet, black opal, mystic merlinite, zebra jasper, crocodile jasper, red tiger's eye, lepidolite, lapis, dragon blood jasper, lemurian crystal, malachite, septarian, ruby kyanite, citrine, ruby, garnierite, rubellite, dumortierite, black kyanite fan. Any of the spheres, palm stones, pocket pebbles, or whatever! (I have spider's web obsidian, velvet obsidian, shungite, fluorite, selenite, black tourmaline. I can always use more obsidian though, especially the flat scrying mirrors or crescent moon shape, they're just kind of spendy. I love towers too, but again they're probably out of the price range for this swap.) Would love to try Velvet Void, It Wasn't Just a Phase, Occultism. There are tons of other things I'd love too but my wish list there seems to have disappeared -- I logged in and checked, has all of my orders but my wish list is gone. argh! What's your favorite flower(s)? Pretty much everything purple, blue, black, and super fragrant? (or white for a moonlight garden, also fragrant.) I like tulips and bearded irises in the spring (same colors), lilacs, grandiflora / floribuna / rugosa / tea roses (must be my fav colors AND/OR super fragrant, lol.) Lavender of all kinds. Star gazer lilies. What's you favorite woodland creature? Unicorns! Do you prefer receiving a big box with all of your goodies, or is it okay if one or two things are shipped directly to you separately (with notice!!) for customs/shipping cost purposes (i.e. if there's something customs might not allow in from the States that can be shipped from within your country)? It's ok if they're shipped separately as long as I know not to open them. Would you like a fabric face mask? If so, do you prefer a dome shape or a pleated shape? I like really large pleated ones, I don't think I've had a dome shaped. I prefer ties over ear elastics as those never fit me. I have a literal stockpile of skincare products. Can I interest you in cleanser, sheet masks, moisturizer, sample things etc etc.? Or a general pampering package? What is your skin type? So I *just* started doing a new face regimen with products from The Ordinary so I kind of want to stick with their things for a while and see how they work. I have their cleanser and so many serums. Anything from here? ChocolateStorybook on Etsy any of the cake / vanilla / classic / cottontail / unicorn / blue raspberry -- I added to etsy wishlist under noms. I have been enjoying the incense from here hand-dipped incense sticks | Hexennacht and here Hand-dipped incense sticks | Mr. Hex (mr-hex.com) Any thing interesting from either site? Hexennacht: All Soul's Night - molten marshmallow blobs on scorched sticks, plumes of woodsmoke, and hot, glowing campfire embers on a cool autumn night. Calm the Fuck Down (essential oil blend) - lavender, vanilla, ylang ylang, bergamot, aged dark patchouli. (would be nice in atmosphere spray too) Tabac - fresh tobacco leaves, unlit pipe tobacco, blonde tobacco absolute. Mr Hex: Catto Va-meow-ah (Tobacco Vanille - Tom Ford type) Witch's Mew (Yankee Candle - Witch's Brew type) 8/16/21 Would you like some delicious coffee? If so, do you prefer whole bean or ground? If ground, what grind? Also, light or dark roast? Flavor preferences? If it's super special, sure! I do love flavored coffee so if you have any whole beans from your local special coffee shop I would try some! Dark roast. Cinnamon, Irish cream, orange chocolate, hazelnut, black forest. When I lived in Toronto I would always go into second cup for Irish cream! And when visiting upstate new york (well, business more than visit) I stayed in a hotel across from an awesome coffee shop that had the best chocolate orange and Black Forest, so I brought home beans. I may be going to the Renaissance Fair this weekend (if not this weekend then soon and multiple times), any Ren Faire goodies you may like? Always! I can't think of anything specific but I love love love ren faires and shopping at them. Sometimes I buy buttons, torcs, leather goods, rings, etc. I get a lovely metal rose at the Colorado Ren Faire. (I collect nice roses made of different materials like leather or metal.) I got purple horns at one in Maryland. (shrug) I always go to my town's local Farmer's Market and they have booths selling things like candles, Gourmet Pickles, Flavored Oils and Vinegars, dog treats (like bones and animal feet), honey, and bath products. Would you like any of these things? HONEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I love dill pickles. ALL THE DILL PICKLES. And dill pickled garlic. I do love flavored basalmic vinegar (white or natural), especially if it's super thick. I have orange and huckleberry from one of our local vinegar peeps. (no oils please.) No bar soap. Bath bombs and other products are welcome as long as they are clean (no SLS / parabens / phthalates, etc. etc.) My dogs would love dog treats. Do you have a preference for numbered packages for each night of the swap vs randomly selecting from unlabeled goodies? Don't have a preference. If you didn't say much about your reading preferences in your survey but would be interested in receiving books, can you elaborate a bit? My goodreads and amazon book wish list should tell you. *wink* prefer ebooks (strong preference to .mobi but I can do .epub if necessary) unless I posted them on my wishlist as hard copy or whatnot. Mostly epic fantasy with some urban fantasy and sci-fi thrown in. A little cyberpunk. Are you interested in cocktails, be it recipes, infusion kits, tools, supplies, specialty bitters? Mmmmmmm infusion kits and samples of alcohol would be awesome. I had a big list of samples I wanted to try on one of my older blog posts. 8/18/21 Is there something that you definitely prefer to not receive in any category (anything to avoid if you hadn't/forgotten to mention)? Bar soap, candles of unknown quality (sihaya ones seem ok for me, but I have major chronic respiratory issues and inexpensive candles seem to exacerbate my symptoms), anything with food color, corn syrup, added msg, artificial sweeteners (other than stevia.) I try to only do fair trade /organic / ethical chocolate. There is a list of good chocolate companies at the ethical chocolate link and I have a ton on my amazon snacks list too. Ummmm no acrylic yarn; any yarn you find at a big box craft store is probably not something I want - sorry! I have like 1,000+ skeins of yarn so I am uber picky. I think I'm overloaded on lip balm right now. Are there patterns/prints (more guidance than general Halloween/Autumn) you like for things or are you open to whatever I may find that speaks to me? I have tons of prints on my etsy and amazon wishlist under artwork lists. What I really need though are FRAMES. I have sooo many prints from Brian Serway that I haven't had a chance to hang yet because I am out of 8x10 matted frames and I don't have an income right now, so frames are kind of a non priority. So if you send a print and it isn't framed, it will go into hibernation with the rest of my non framed art. I have lots of knitting patterns on my ravelry wishlist but ... I haven't been knitting lately and I have over 14k patterns. But of course I do always want to knit the new stuff that just came out because dorky brain. And then none of my 1k skeins of yarn will be right for it and I'll need new yarn! It is known! Any significant other or other special person? Like if I wanted to send you specialty cocoa for a date night, would that be OK? I am making up the cocoa part, but you get my drift. Nope. Unless you count my dogs, they both sleep under the covers with me and are pretty much my platonic life partners. I'm also currently living with my parents (in their late 70's), my son (early 30's) and his friend who is on this forum (their alias here is chase.) We also have goats, sheep, and pigs. The pigs especially think they are special and people. (lots of photos on my instagram.) I would love to request folks to to put their wish list in this thread and link in their signature. I would love to decant from my oils if I have any my person is looking for! I already have a post in that thread and linked in my sig. I also have a wishlist on my google docs destash page that is probably updated more frequently. *blush* If you happened to list some favorite fandoms earlier, would you also name your favorite character(s) from those fandoms? Death and Delirium (Sandman), The Goblin King natch (Labyrinth), The Man in Black / Westley (Princess Bride) but Inigo is awesome too. Kind of equally V and Evie from V for Vendetta. Lydia Deetz from Beetlejuice. Jack and Zero from Nightmare Before Christmas. Toothless from How to Train your Dragon. Demogorgon from Stranger Things. Everyone from Firefly but especially Wash I guess (I have his dinosaurs. We do make cunning hats tho.) Hmmm 10th doctor. Loki (MCU.) Gideon (Locked Tomb.) Legolas / Arwen / Strider (LOTR.) Geralt & Ciri. (Witcher) Klaus (Umbrella Academy.) Krampus (does he count as a fandom?) Black Philip (again... does he count? lol.) Agent Cooper and his coffee! (Twin Peaks) The Unicorn (Last Unicorn) Cheshire Cat (Alice in Wonderland) Orlando Bloom in everything. Ewan McGregor in Moulin Rouge (but not with the hair cut in Star Wars, lol.) You can probably tell some of them by looking through my wishlists. 8/19/21 Do you have an Amazon link? Can you post it?? yep, it's in my sw help signature link and I posted it again here: https://www.amazon.com/hz/wishlist/ls/OITDSSITKNDN?ref_=wl_share if you are a knitter/crocheter, are you over on Ravelry? If so, what’s your user name there?? yep, misstwilight: https://www.ravelry.com/people/misstwilight 8/20/19 I make homemade fire ciders, would that be of interest? Non-alcoholic and they are quite fiery. Not unless they are super delicious. My mom made a big batch of fire cider once and labeled it as "caution, may make you puke" so no one would drink it. hahaha. We do make our own elderberry syrup (elderberries, honey, apple cider vinegar) so I'm totally not opposed in the slightest to home made remedies and supplements. Are you interested in getting other BPAL items besides perfume, like hair gloss, bath oils or T-shirts? It depends on the scent of hair gloss and bath oil! *wink* I'm going to pass on the t-shirts though, I destashed all of my women's babydoll ones (xxl was too small) and I don't like men's / unisex t-shirts. 8/21/21 So partner, would you be interested in a Frankenbag done in Halloween prints? As long as it's mostly black, purple, etc. with no orange. ALL THE SUGAR SKULLS AND BATS. Y'all with furbabies... Are there any food allergies/sensitivities or quirks to know about? dogs: I avoid anything sourced or produced in china because of all of the things found in dog treats / food that come through. I do try to do grainless and avoid legumes as well. Dried liver or homemade cookies with nut butters and pumpkin (make sure your nut butters do not have any xylitol or artificial sweeteners!) pigs/goats/sheep: They're good. They get lots of things from our garden and a lot of leftover fruit and veggie scraps along with their grain/hay. how do you feel about (ethically sourced) butterfly / moth art (in a jar or shadowbox) They don't bother me but they really aren't my style either. I do have some butterflies in a shadowbox sort of frame (completely sealed) that I got in Panama in 1981 or 1982 or so. Death's Head Hawkmoth might be cool. I recently beheld a "tarantula moth" at our house - he was so cute! (Polyphemus moth - Giant Silk moth!) I may have preemptively picked out 2 Halloween-themed mugs with cute matching spoons, before I knew who my match was going to be! So I leave it to you: Bat, or Cat? I will *always* choose bat over cat but please do not send me mugs unless they are on my wishlist! I am drowning in mugs! I collect the Starbucks City Mugs (although I would prefer the ornament or demitasse size for space reasons) but mostly to drink out of I prefer 18-20 oz mugs (stainless / ceramic) with a lid to keep out the dog hair. 8/22/21 If you mentioned aversions to any common Halloween decor items (skeletons, witches, spiders, etc.), how encompassing is that? Specifically, is a "kid friendly" drawing of that same item on a piece of decor (like, a book cover or wrapping paper) still a preferred pass? I had to go back and look at what I posted for aversions. None! It's just that I prefer stuff I can re-use (wrapping paper / bags) or can have out all year. I use my NMBC shopping bags all freaking year at the grocery store, for example. And I have skulls / skeletons / bats / ravens / gargoyles / grotesques up all year. Not really into witches, spiders, black cats, zombies, or any harvest-y things (fall leaves, pumpkins, orange, corn, scarecrows, etc.) Tim Burton-esque is very much my style with black and white/purple crooked lines, black swirl-y hills, etc. Would you be interested in receiving a never-used eyeshadow palette from Nororiously Morbid (gothy colors) and/or a never-used eyeshadow palette from Pretty Vulgar (romantic neutrals)? I haven't worn eyeshadow for the past four years (I rarely ever leave the house) but .... I do love some smoky eye and gothy colors. 8/23/21 I live in Japan. Are you interested in anything specifically Japanese I could get for you here (doesn't necessarily have to be Halloween themed)? For example, are you a fan of the anime Demon Slayer and want merch? Are you interested in trying some fun kit-kat flavors? Do you need a new set of pretty chopsticks? ALL OF THE KIT KATS. I can get green tea and cranberry nut ones here but any other flavors! yas! I also collect Starbucks City Mugs so if they have any Japanese mugs in that style, would love! Japanese incense! Origami paper! All the things! there is an excellent chance teeturtle will have a sale in time for this swap: anything (particularly tshirts or socks) that appeal? Sizes? I have a bunch of t-shirts on my amazon universal wishlist under clothing. The largest women's size (2x?) Their socks don't fit me unless they've started carrying men's sizes. Honestly their shipping is SUPER slow so I don't know that you would have time to order. Haus of Gloi Fall Part 1 drops soon, anything here you like? https://www.hausofgloi.com/blogs/blog/fall-lineup-2021 I have always wanted to try Ghost Puffs and I have an empty Candy Corn bottle that is amazing! Ghost Puffs: Bubbling Scrub, Eau de Parfum, Butterbombs, REFRESHER SPRAYS! Lip balm (Ghost Kisses!) Candy Corn candy bowl perfume. The Amethyst and Tranquility butter bombs sound good too. 8/24/21 Could you use a journal or sketchbook? No, I don't write - my hands don't work well at writing. I am however trying to start painting (which is funny when I can't write legibly) and I might be able to use some nice watercolor pads and a watercolor set. Or maybe watercolor pens? (I have lots of brushes.) I could also use a starter set of oils. Do you need BPAL storage? Imps? Bottles? Nope, I'm destashing so much that I've been giving away my bottle storage boxes. I'm probably going to sell all of my imps and ammo cases as well. (major respiratory... skin breaking out from perfume... too lazy to change my scent locket all the time...) Do you wear socks? What kind? No show, ankle, knee high, over the knee? Fibers? Hardly ever. Bare feet and sandals the majority of the year except for boots when I go out to feed the animals in the winter (snow from Nov - Feb at LEAST, sometimes September - April.) However, I could use a bunch of nice no show or ankle black cotton. Inexpensive in a pack is totally fine. Do you have a favorite candy(ies) [or prepacked individual snacks] that you wouldn't mind filling up your box as packing material? Or teas/coffee blends you'd enjoy? If you prefer none of this, that's fine too! I think most of the tea and snacks I like would be much too expensive to fill up a box as packing material! Unless you can find a ton of the "iced tea" tea candy (I usually get it at an international market in the Seattle area, DK Market. I have a hard time finding any in the Spokane area but maybe I just haven't found the right place) - it's super light, I put it in my swaps and sales. I'm going down the Shore for a few days! Any treats you'd like from a cute beach town- salt water taffy? Fudge? Wrist fans? Tie-dye beach dress...? What are wrist fans? I want to go with you! A tie dye beach dress could be fun but it would need to be like a size 22. black, purple. How do you feel about fancy marshmallows? They're ok. I haven't been impressed by any that I've tried. But if you could make rose or lavender, I'd be down. Or clove! 8/25/21 We've asked about candy, but let's talk specifically about gummies. Do you like crazy shapes, sweet/sour? Sweet over sour. Don't really care about shapes too much. Usually I just get the Black Forest organic gummy bears at Costco or Wine Gums from World Market. If I splurge and get weird shapes and flavors, I'll soak them in vanilla vodka or something. Anything from these Etsy shops? Kodiak Sea Charms nope Halloween Hill Studio, too pumpkin-y, not enough bat Grave Markings meh, glow in the dark moon is ok. What about the Mutter Museum's gift shop? too spendy. 8/27/21 I grow mugwort and it's harvest season. Would you like dried leaves for bathing or tea? Or a bound bundle for smoke cleansing? (Its said to be excellent for divination or lucid dreaming, but do not use if pregnant.) its also a digestive bitter and tastes great on chicken. I would love more bound bundles and some dried leaves! I grow loads of other herbs and I'm drying them now. Any favorites you might like? Mint, basil, oregano, chives, lemon balm or others? Yesssssssss all of them plus lavender and vervain if there any. I grew a huge load of onions and garlic. Any interest? Hello, yes. ALL THE GARLIC. And Onions. Feathers? I have geese, ducks, peafowl, chickens and quail. So I collect their shed feathers and share them with people I like. ALL THE FEATHERS but especially peacock tail. I grew a boatload of Green Shiso this year and plan to make a shiso pesto with it. Would you like some? (Nut wise it has pistachios) If it is shelf stable, sure! I also plan to experiment with infusing it in vodka. I'm planning a plain shiso infusion and a shiso citrus infusion. If they turn out would you like some? Yes! I love unusual vodkas. 8/28/21 Would you be interested in this hand sanitizer dispenser/keychain that doubles as a light (its eyes light up when you press between its eyes!)? (see photo here) YES ALL THE BATS although really I have no use for a keychain or hand sanitizer dispenser but it's so cute! If you're into tabletop games, what games do you already own, and/or what type are you interested in? I don't really have people to play with very often but I have Unstable Unicorns Control & Chaos (from the kickstarter, not the regular game), Exploding Kittens NSFW version, Talisman (god, that's ancient - I played it before my son was born and he's 31!) I have some games on my amazon wishlist but not very many since ... out in the middle of nowhere, no one to play with except when I can convince my mom and son to play with me. 8/29/21 DO YOU LIKE TRUE CRIME STORIES? Not especially. DO YOU LIKE SEASONAL MAGAZINES ON BAKING AND DECORATING? No, I don't really do magazines unless I want a specific knitting pattern and there is NO other way to get it. If you are enthused by the idea of receiving coffee, do you want whole bean or ground? AND do you have flavors that you like (or definitely hate and never want again)? Whole bean or k-cups. I hate Green Mountain k-cups and most el-cheapo ones. I love Peets, Tim Hortons, Dutch Bros, Deathwish Coffee k-cups. For bean, I love Vivace from Seattle (either of their roasts is fine but I always tend towards the ones described as caramel-y or foody and the darker the better), I can do Starbucks small blends/special blends, some seasonal blends, and Sumatra. (Right now I'm drinking Casi Cielo and I have some Anniversary blend from over a year ago, lol. We just found the grinder so most of my beans are really old but so far they seem fine. shrug.) I've found some chocolate orange, black forest, irish cream, and other flavors that I like at coffee shops - (but never the ones from the grocery store or bulk bins. They SMELL good and I'm always tempted but the coffee I make with them is always nasty.) I'm totally open to trying your favorites. I'll drink medium and blonde too, dark is just my go to. 8/30/21 Would you be interested in some very size-inclusive tights? There are Halloween patterns, but also most colours under the sun, and are very comfy. Not right now, I'm about to start physical therapy, seeing a dietician, etc. and am hoping to lose like 100 lbs, lol. So no new clothes until I am at a new weight! (except t-shirts and hoodies, I don't mind if those are too big.) What about indie chilli sauces/chutneys/jams? What type of chilli/spice level? I like habanero and jalapeno level heat occasionally and I add sour cream if too hot. Chutneys that is harder to do, so maybe way less heat on those. I do love pepper jellies but my dad made like 50 jars of it last time (kind of the bronco berry arby's style) so I'm good for a while but if it's a specialty of yours I would still love to try it! I think I have one jar of plum chutney left so I'm getting low. I was thinking of making some peach but ... not sure yet. I adore spicy dill pickles too, especially with lots of garlic! Dill pickled anything really -- carrots, beans, whatev. In case anyone else shares a love for adorable tiny plushies, any interest in v soft and cute vegetable/fruit plushies? There are also small animals. My dogs would totally steal them. I do adore tiny goth amigurumi and plushes - egyptian, cthulhu, equines of all sorts, baphomet, black philip... I like the super dark but cuddly. (like the squishables!!) The Polish Pickup/Indie Pickup is live for wishlisting, and will ship in time for this swap (this year). Anything strike your fancy? (It's not just nail polish...there's jewelry and bath scrubs and wax tarts and all manner of things. It's fun!) https://polishpickup.com/ I could use some really good nail strengtheners since my right thumb nail is splitting and won't freaking stop; it's down in the nail bed so I can't cut past the split. I like shimmery and holographic polish but no glitter as I have a hard time getting that off. Only five (seven) free polishes please - I looked through the ingredients and the ones I listed below seem to be ok. Some of the polish on that site is definitely NOT... found some nice colors that contain Ferrocyanide and/or Camphor and/or Toluene. Since I am really picky about clean ingredients, I didn't even look at the other bath and body. * Ring magnet * Paint It Pretty Polish | Party At The Castle * Whatcha | Night Of Mischief * EDK | Halloween's Finest Trick or Treaters 8/31/21 Anything here sound good to you? https://gryffonridge.com/ yes, all the things. Hayden Evens Art has released some new Halloween and Disney-themed prints and stickers. Do any spark your interest? I'll look through and add any to my art / sticker etsy list if I find any. So would you hate or be into more miscreant Halloween vibe decor - like wholesome figurines repainted, creepy dolls, goats with horns, (fake) animal skeletons, things in jars? Is anything too dark, morbid, or recoil worthy? ALL THE GOATS WITH HORNS AND ANIMAL SKELETONS (real or not real.) No room for things in jars and no creepy dolls kthx. I don't really have room for figurines either... mostly for stuff that hangs on doors or walls really. do you use any sorts of semipermanent dyes or do anything fun/wild to your hair? are there any hair products you like? I shave the sides and backs of my head, bleach my hair, dye it bright colors... or just dye it blue or violet black or a wine-red. I love Aveda hair products and Artic Fox hair colors (bright purples, blues, and wine-reds.) what about skincare? i am pretty into k beauty and am curious if others are interested in any aspects of this. Right now I'm using The Original serums and cleanser. 9/2/21 Cellar Door Bath Supply Co.'s Halloween & Fall collection is out (https://cellardoorbathsupply.com/collections/halloween-fall-collection😞 anything you might be interested in? Black No. 1 Michigan Moonglow Once Bitten Zombie Repellent These all sound good. I would take candles or soap in all of them. (I KNOW I SAID NO BAR SOAP BUT.) Regarding tea, what type of tea do you prefer? Black tea, green tea, herbal tea? Any type of tea you really don’t enjoy? I think I covered this already but I drink mostly black tea. Sometimes herbal (my Breathe Easy and Throat Coat or Aveda Tea/Licorice Mint.) Very occasionally green (especially Jasmine.) I do not like rooibos, mate, or pu erh. White tea is ok. I like matcha but I mostly purchase the matcha packets that you shake up with water because I don't have a milk steamer or the whisk/bowl things that go with matcha. (mmmm matcha lattes.) I love bubble tea too but not sure if that counts here. Mostly lavender milk, rose milk, jasmine milk, or honey milk. Tapioca pearls ftw. 9/4/21 are you interested in eco-friendly menstrual products? There are some beautiful gothic print reuseable pads I'm looking at specifically. I keep hoping mine will just totally stop. I'd be down with trying some reusable pads or a cup. 9/6/21 Bath and Body Works? I know this is a bit of a love em or hate em company, but I really love their foaming hand soaps and scented hand sanitizers and my kids like their body wash, so I'll be placing an order with the next good sale. Anything that catches your eye? Too many unclean ingredients in their body care. I don't mind the wall flowers but I have a ton because I don't use them very often. The Marshmallow and Fireside roomspray is a yes. Would love that in a wall flower too. 9/14/21 I'm making homemade applesauce this weekend with apples I picked last weekend. I'm going to try my hand at canning for the first time (got my mom, the experienced canner, on speed dial lol) If I succeed would you like a jar? If it's unsweetened, sure! 9/22/21 How do you feel about sniffies? Meh. I would like at LEAST a little bit of 'fume to skin test.

Examples: It seems like a lot of shops’ Halloween lines have items related to the same standard fandoms, such as The Nightmare Before Christmas, Hocus Pocus, Disney’s Haunted Mansion, Beetlejuice, Addams Family, etc. Do any of those (or other ones) particularly resonate with you? What colors / kinds? Would you like them with holes drilled (either as a pendant - you'd need to stick a bale in, or a bead?) My mom has an etsy store - she makes bags. Do you love anything from it? We can also do box bags, draw string bags, dice bags, etc. and if you want a different type of material or a different fabric pattern, I'm open to links to specific things. (yes, we have harry potter things. We bought most of it before JKR showed herself to be a twat since we buy lots of bolts at the same time - yes, we have a whole room stuffed full of fabric.) Let's say you want something knitted. What are you most interested in? (hat, fingerless mitts, scarf, shawl, cowl, infinity scarf, shawlette, gnome, doily, coffee mug cozy, talisman bag, dice bag, soap sack, washcloth (I have a pattern with the leviathan cross for bpal), amigurumi / toy, bracelet, cuff, necklace, other?) ("wool", BFL, merino, merino/silk, merino/silk/cashmere, merino/cashmere, just silk, just cashmere, tencel (non-animal, plant based), other? I also have non-dyed organic wool (mill spun) from our own sheep - finnsheep and shetland. The finnsheep is dark brown (sun bleached black sheep from Sarge and our two black ewes we can't tell apart so they're ewe 1 and ewe 2) or a lighter silvery beige (from freckles) and the shetland is white. (we just call her shetland. They're mom's sheep, she should have named them, lol.) Most of my stripy yarn is either merino or merino cashmere.) You can check out some of my finished projects on Ravelry if you like (click on the project for more photos) (I'll have to make a list of which items are available because I knit a lot of things and then just put them in a cabinet and gift or sell them.) Are you interested in receiving any of the following homemade / home dried / home canned goodies? (just erase the ones you don't want when you answer to make it easy?) What's you favorite woodland creature? Do you prefer receiving a big box with all of your goodies, or is it okay if one or two things are shipped directly to you separately (with notice!!) for customs/shipping cost purposes (i.e. if there's something customs might not allow in from the States that can be shipped from within your country)? If so, do you prefer whole bean or ground? If ground, what grind? Also, light or dark roast? Flavor preferences? 8/17/21 I may be going to the Renaissance Fair this weekend (if not this weekend then soon and multiple times), any Ren Faire goodies you may like? I always go to my town's local Farmer's Market and they have booths selling things like candles, Gourmet Pickles, Flavored Oils and Vinegars, dog treats (like bones and animal feet), honey, and bath products. Would you like any of these things? Do you have a preference for numbered packages for each night of the swap vs randomly selecting from unlabeled goodies? If you didn't say much about your reading preferences in your survey but would be interested in receiving books, can you elaborate a bit? Are you interested in cocktails, be it recipes, infusion kits, tools, supplies, specialty bitters? 8/18/21 Is there something that you definitely prefer to not receive in any category (anything to avoid if you hadn't/forgotten to mention)? Are there patterns/prints (more guidance than general Halloween/Autumn) you like for things or are you open to whatever I may find that speaks to me? Any significant other or other special person? Like if I wanted to send you specialty cocoa for a date night, would that be OK? I am making up the cocoa part, but you get my drift. I would love to request folks to to put their wish list in this thread and link in their signature. I would love to decant from my oils if I have any my person is looking for! Vision of Faust (Pickman Gallery prototype)

When this is wet, it definitely screams Dark Fruit Punch and maybe musk but the dry down on me is completely Oakmoss. (I seem to amp Oakmoss right now though.)

    German Expressionist Horror

Highly stylized, stark, and filled with vivid, dark symbolism, these films employed bizarre, striking geometry and mise en scène to convey mood and tell their tale. Examples: Cabinet of Dr. Caligari, Nosferatu, M, Der Golem, Schatten - Eine nächtliche Halluzination. Casket dust, black musk and khus, musty velvet, black pine needle, patchouli, myrrh, and black pepper. Sniffing from the bottle, the first whiff was pine needle. I also picked up the black musk and a teeny bit of Patchouli. Very dark!

What do bottles and labels look like?

Scentwise, November 2016. Label wise, November 2009. But I haven't sniffed all of them either. May 2016 looks good. September 2019 is lovely but doesn't last on my skin. March 2020 looks interesting with all sugar but I stopped working in ... 2014? 2015? So I haven't bought much perfume since then.

My Switch Witch Fall 2020 answers

I don't know if I posted this in other places, but please don't send me BAR SOAP or COFFEE MUGS (unless they're on a wish list) -- I have sooo much/many. 8/29/20 Does anything from Paintbox Soapworks catch your eye (http://paintboxsoapworks.com/)? Hex on the Beach and Nightwalker are the ones without potential death notes. Non Weenie: Journey in Satchidananda, Pick-A-Duck, Rice Pudding, The Queen is Dead, Man in the Moon, Mandinka, Blackbird, White Rose of York, Whiskers No to soap, perfume, hair oil, candles, and slip lotion. Yes to sorbetto and bath streusal. Would love some clean slate scrub (not the soap.) MAYBE on the wax tarts. I do have an electric tart burner that I should start using more often. Does anything from the Trading Post's etsy page catch your eye (https://www.etsy.com/shop/bptradingpost)? Not really. I really wanted one of the skelly shelves but I don't see them on the website anymore (and not on etsy either) but I couldn't afford one while they were up. 8/30/20 Is there anything you want from Japan? Current kit kat flavors are... Salty Lemon, Salty Lychee, Sweet Potato, Chestnut and possibly still some Cookies and Cream Ice Cream or Strawberry Ice Cream from summer. Other than that, anime goods, cute stationery, other Japanese snacks, lay it on me! I love the flavored kit kats!!! usually. None of those flavors are sounding really good except maybe the Strawberry Ice Cream? Would love more origami paper .. mine is all packed up in storage. I don't know what other Japanese snacks there are!! I really miss going to all of my Asian markets in the Seattle area though. Japanese incense!!! What are your favorite self-care items or activities? I'm especially curious about things that you hesitate to do/get because they feel like frivolous luxuries. Reading and playing video games, baths with lots of scented stuff, eating out (MOD Pizza, Panera, Costa Vida, Dutch Brothers, Sonic, Taco Bell, Chipotle, Jimmy Johns, Subway, Thai food, Ethiopian food, etc.) Mead and sweet apple cider (hard.) There are all kinds of flavored liqueurs I want to try but yeah, alcohol seems like a huge frivolous luxury so I rarely buy any. I'm almost out of my cake vodka that I save for really special occasions and I haven't been able to find any more! I usually only get chocolate bars when it's on a major sale or I find some I like at Grocery Outlet for a reasonable price. LuvMilk is one of my favorite luxury bath item makers. Another luxury is purchasing things like Death Cups (coffee for Keurig) from Death Wish coffee company. Or Tim Horton's dark roast k-cups. 9/1/20 are you familiar with https://www.a-natural-alternative.com/ ? Take a peak & let me know if you might like to try something. I'd be up for trying lavender or french vanilla lip balm. 9/2/20 Would you like a face mask from one of my favorite artists? https://akumuink.com/collections/facemasks I'm good on facemasks right now. My mom and my BFF in France both make them and I rarely ever go anywhere. I do kind of want some gaiters but I'm concerned they would be too tight. I was eyeing the Last Unicorn ones (on my etsy masks faves) and a cheshire cat smile one (on amazon) but I have a fat neck so ... probably not a good idea if they're one size fits all. (plus I would wear them OVER my other masks.) one of our fellow BPAL friends makes custom masks, Hakutaku Custom Masks on facebook (https://www.facebook.com/HakutakuMasks/ ). Would anyone be interested in one of her masks? I already bought one from Jennifer (Hakutaku Custom Masks) for my mom's birthday so I'm good there. 9/3/20 Would you like anything from here? https://www.etsy.com/shop/TaterRoundsBeauty The Black Phillip makes me laugh. Maybe some of the pure daily moisturizer? I need a good facial moisturizer since Kiss My Face stopped making the one that worked for me. Or the Ultra Hydrating Vitamin Rich Face Cream & Aloe Gel? Hyaluronate & Algae Face Serum - Face Serum? Vampire Tonic! ok, I totally want some of the Black Phillip perfume too. Would absolutely try the hair color. I added a ton of stuff to my "make up" and "other bath and beauty" etsy faves. 9/5/20 what are your feelings on home made/ home canned jams & pickles or syrups? I even make things with berries I grow in my garden. I make both brandied & bourbon cherries. Syrups good for cocktails, in lemonade or tea, flavors include Lavender, Lavender + Lemon, & Lavender + Vanilla. Interested? I only have one jar of homemade garlic dill pickles left, so yesssss bring the artisan dill pickles!!! This year we made peach jam, ginger peach butter, cardamom plum jar, star anise plum jam, plum butter (two different types), apple butter, applesauce, lavender vanilla bean liqueur, rose petal liqueur, dilly beans, green tomato dill relish, and I currently have plums and spices sitting in vodka (Slivovitz, but it won't be ready until December.) So anything else, I will gladly take!! Especially brandied and bourbon cherries!!! BRING IT. Is there something that you're especially hoping to receive for this round? For example, a brand you've heard of that you're especially wanting to try, or a certain "thing" that you really want but just cant bring yourself to buy for yourself?? I'd really love some Scream Inside your Heart or Scream Inside your Snake Oil BPAL and a sticker. But I'm also in the 13 Nights of Halloween and asked for it there too, so you'd probably want to pop into that thread and ask my Pumpkin to contact you so as not to double up. Or have someone else do it for you since I follow that thread, haha. Would you rather receive supplies/tools for your own craft/hobby or receive something you can't make yourself? I have sooo much yarn and really don't need any more. I can always use Chiaogoo Red Lace needles in a size US 7 though! I like getting things I can't make myself too. Is there anything you'd like from Penzeys (https://www.penzeys.com/)? I think I have everything I want spice wise on my Amazon Cooking wish list. It has a bunch of things from Penzeys on it. 9/8/20 Art and artists - anyone dig any of this? https://www.studiodesade.com/ (They also do masks, see here.) Really not my color palettes or style. If you knit/crochet/weave, would you like custom dyed yarn? And if so do you have preference on weight, fiber, colors? Anything from fingering to bulky is fine. I prefer either gradients or semi-solid. Black and grey are always needed for neutrals, especially paired with a great contrast-y semi-solid (or gradient, lol) to make brioche or colorwork hats (so like dk/worsted) - I love jewel toned purples, blurples, blues. Dark blackened reds. Merino is awesome, merino cashmere, merino silk, merino silk cashmere, anything with yak... I don't love alpaca, llama, bfl, acrylic. Bamboo and tencel are great! what is one fun/frivolous thing for $20 or less that you’d enjoy? A pig or dragon tea pet! If I sent you to a dollar store with $20, what would you walk out with? maybe some frames to hang up some of my artwork, assuming they had frames matted for 8x10. maybe some gift bags or wrapping paper/tissue. if it's halloween time and they have cool bats or skeletal animals, that's all me. 9/9/20 would anybody like a small cross stitch thing, like a patch or pin? or cross stitching notions like handmade needle minders? I am old and losing eyesight, so although I really wanted to learn cross stitch, I just can't see. So no notions. I would love to receive a patch or pin! 9/11/20 Is there anything you'd like from the UK? um, yes! Tea! Chocolate! Future Primitive stuff! Do you have a particular fandom you'd like stuff from? I have fandoms that I like things from that are on wish lists - I'm still kicking myself for not getting the Princess Bride funko pops when I was at the Everett store but unless I really love them, I don't collect them. If that makes sense. I know it when I see it? And I usually add it to a list? There are a lot of fandom pins, for example, on my etsy jewelry faves from Firefly, HP, Brave, Buffy, etc. I love Nightmare Before Christmas and love the cookie jars. Hot Topic usually has a new one every year? Or used to, I haven't been shopping for the past four or five years so my collection is very small and all packed up. How do you feel about tea? Preferences? Would you want anything from David's Tea (https://www.davidstea.com/us_en/home/), Steepologie (https://www.steepologie.com/), Bird & Blend (https://birdandblendtea.com/us_en/), or do you have a favorite tea maker to suggest? What about tea tools or cups? YESSSSS I have things from Bird and Blend, David's Tea, Mariage Freres, Dammann Freres, Harney & Sons, Stephen Smith Tea, etc. on my amazon Beverages wish list. Oh! And I love Blackthorn Hoodoo Tea, I should add some of those. As far as tools go, I have a variable temperature electric tea kettle, multiple tea pots, and a couple of ingenuitea type tea strainers so I'm probably good. Please for the love of god no more coffee or tea cups unless they are specifically on a wishlist. Oh, I do have some ice tea pitchers / infusers and water bottles on my wishlist. There was one kind that had a screw off bottom so you could fill it with ice easily but I can't remember where I saw it at. Any water bottles need to be stainless/aluminum and preferably dishwasher safe. I do kind of want another black iron japanese style tea pot but they're never large enough for me. How do you feel about fragrant things for the home like incense, candles, atmosphere spray? I love pillow spray! Would love to try the low smoke incense from Shoyeido (all of the scents sound fine.) I don't burn candles very often because of my respiratory disease but I do love Sihaya & Co's candles - I burned one during our recent four day power outage and it didn't irritate my lungs so I am hopeful. Would love Black Roses, Samhain Dusk, Celtic Twilight, I am Here I am Whole, Long Distance Hug. I rarely use atmosphere spray because I don't want to choke the dogs. I have three or four boxes of it (BPTP) in my closet. Do you share your home with any loved ones (human, feline, canine, etc.) who might enjoy a tiny treat too? My dogs always love treats! I also have pigs, goats, and sheep but they are all totally spoiled and love bananas, so I think they're set. 9/12/20 Does anyone like the prints or items from www.ElissaMarieCreative.com ? I have a few of her prints and the notebooks and they are quality! I kind of like some of the art work but the color palette is very much not me. (and I'm getting full walls for artwork and don't use notebooks.) What about www.drawingsbynicole.com? Anything specific? Nope. Does anything from www.vapidlacquer.com stick out to you? Sugar Scrub or Body Mist both sound nice. Sugared Rose, Continuity for the Body Mist. Available scent notes are missing for the sugar scrubs. Maybe Butter Beer or Vanilla Vixen? I do pour painting/acrylic fluid art (with varying degrees of success, haha). Would you like a custom piece in colors of your choice (takes 3-4 weeks with curing, longer if you want it sealed, so it would arrive post-round if custom) or a piece already finished in my collection? I have mostly 12 x 12 and 10 x 10s right now. Pics available upon request! Would love to see what you've got. My walls are getting full of art already and I have a ton more to hang up that I need frames for (matted for 8x10 artwork from Brian Serway.) I only have a small room in someone else's house and being disabled, I don't know that I'll ever have my own place again. After enjoying looking at the links several others have put in the questions, I decided to add some of my own favorite independent artists who I enjoy supporting - so, what do you think of the goodies from these people? And specific items you love? Enjoy! 1) https://www.catcoven.com/ -- Creature of the Night silver pin. Curious Wanderer Silver pin. 2) https://www.mineralgypsy.com -- I love crystals. Anything you'd think I'd like. 3) https://www.redbubble.com/people/thelatestkate/shop -- Super cute but bright. I could actually use a new ipad case but I need the kind that doubles as a stand (I have an older iPad air.) I'd say a water bottle but none of her water bottle designs call to me. 4) https://www.marikapaz.com/shop/ - would totally take sheets of stickers to decorate packages with. 5) https://www.faunwood.com - nothing really. 6) https://www.shannatrumbly.com/ - I really don't need any prints right now and the stickers are pretty expensive. 7) https://fiddlersgreenzine.com - are these zines? I love the style (very Tolkien) but don't really like zines. 8 ) https://www.hedgespokenpress.com - I really don't need any prints right now One of the things I do is make nifty things from sweaters that I cut up & upcycle into things like super warm mittens, arm warmers, striped arm warmers, cowls, teapot cozies, & French press cozies. I don't have a slipper I love yet, but I'm working on it. So, which of these things might you like? Give me some thoughts on colors you like & if for a teapot or press, I need to know a size. TBH, I am too hot 99.99999% of the time and I'm a knitter, mom is a knitter/crocheter, and I absolutely do not need anything to wear that would be warm (except maybe some nordic style pajama socks.) I don't need either a teapot or french press cozy. I am super picky about my cowls. But if you're a knitter or crocheter and want to make me something, I have a bundle on Ravelry called "make for me!" filled with thing to knit (all kinds of colorwork and stuff) or crochet (mostly amigurumi but also some top hats) Warning -- all of the fox stuff is for my mom. So if I receive any of that, she will get it. I do wear socks, fingerless miits and double length cowls or long cresecent shawlettes. I don't wear knitted hats or choke-y cowls or smoke rings or mittens or triangle shaped shawls. Feets are huge, size 11w. Hands are also huge. If you knit socks for me I REALLY REALLY need a stretchy cast on (if cuff down socks) or bind off (if toe up socks.) And both the stretchy cast on AND bind off for mitts. (I use Jeny's for both, myself, although a cable cast on is usually stretchy enough too.) I think the stretchy thing is one of those tics of being autistic. (shrug) I enjoy historical reproductions and am a fan of LBCC Historical Apothecary. Is there something in her store you might be interested in? I'm not really into vintage-y type stuff and I really don't like things in round tins (especially lip stuff.) The Rose scented ink is the coolest but I don't write at all! I can still type and knit, but my hands don't like writing for more than a few words on a note. The Egyptian Geranium EO or the Organic Clove Bud EO both caught my eye but I don't really have a pressing need for EO's right now. Maybe a large loofa sponge? Oh! 4 Thieves Vinegar! Ok, the 1896 Cleopatra's Enamel looks interesting too. 9/13/20 Do you have a favorite art style/movement/artist? I think I talked about it in my original answers. But since I don't really need any artwork right now... Who is your fashion icon(s)? I don't know that I have any particular fashion icons. I'm mostly attracted to gothy/fetishy/industrial mixes of clothing and makeup but I am too lazy to dress that way myself most of the time. What is your favorite mythological creature? Anything equine really (I used to collection tons of unicorn/pegasus figures but they're all packed up. I love hippocampus too!) as well as grotesques and gargoyles. And Krampus. And Black Philip. is there anything you want from Lush? always. like every single bat bath bomb!! ALL OF THEM! I have other stuff from LUSH on my Amazon Bath, Body, Fragrance wish list. Do you need any astrological work done, since thats one of my professions? Any particular areas you could utilize a consultation? This would be fun if Holly was my Witch. But I don't know my birth time and my mom can't find my baby book. How do you feel about the homemade fudge I sell in my etsy shop? https://www.etsy.com/shop/HollysRainbow -particular preferences, flavors (consider I take special flavor requests all the time!)? No nuts, Penuche!!!!! And the apple pie fudge!!!!!!! *sad grabby hands towards all the fudge* How do you feel about keto or sugar-free, low carb baked goods or treats?? I'm ok with real sugar, butter, cream. I try to avoid corn syrup. I'm also ok with coconut sugar and alternatives, but I prefer using castor sugar or brown sugar in things. My mom makes a lot of alternative, gluten free, oil free, low sugar stuff so I already have access but that doesn't mean I wouldn't want any from my Witch if that is their specialty - I just don't require it? 9/14/20 Anything you'd like from Future Primitive: https://futureprimitivesoap.co.uk I am interested in the Bath Salts, Shampoo Bar, Sugar Scrubs, and Whipped Soap (especially if you want to send something for my son - he LOVES their whipped soap and uses it for shaving - Ghost Smoke is his fave.) Scents that sound good are: Festival Four & Twenty Blackbirds OM Rook & Raven Sylph White Witch Lughnasadh The Gloaming GHOST SMOKE Do you have an Etsy wishlist? Yes, I believe it is linked both on the Switch Witch Spreadsheet and on my Switch Witch Help (both are in signature.) And I put it here for ease as well. ❤️ ETSY FAVES. That being said, once an item is sold out I am unable to remove it from the sorted lists which drives my virgo heart absolutely crazy. So make sure to check the "show only available items" when looking through lists. It's a major bug and the only way around it is to make a new list, add all of the items you want to it, and delete the old list. I wanted to share this link to a soapmaker I love and ask if y'all see anything you would like from them! https://www.herbneden.com/ No bar soap, but I would up for trying the bath salts, scrubs, facial stuff, etc. I put a bunch on my amazon bath, body, fragrance list for fun. Some of them are kind of spendy but the bath salts and masks aren't too bad. Nui Cobalt Designs perfumes...(just got her latest email): How about the scents being discontinued? The Critters? https://nuicobaltdesigns.com/collections/critters-2020?page=1 or other ones? Nah, I'm good. I have so much perfume and no more veins. 9/15/20 I have a friend who does pet caricatures. He's done ones for all of my pets. Is this something you would be interested of for your pet(s)? Not caricatures, no. Do you decorate seasonally/for holidays? Is there anything in particular you would like to that end? My room is always filled with bats and skulls and skeletal things and gargoyles. I would love Nightmare Before Christmas ornaments and especially the new Pumpkin King tree topper (Hallmark.) Would you like anything from House of Gloi, especially from their Autumn Update? (https://www.hausofgloi.com/collections/fall-1) The Fancy Witch body powder sounds nice. Black Rose or Marshmallow butterbombs. Do they not do whipped soap anymore? I'm trying to avoid sugar scrubs right now because I'm battling skin infections and I don't think sugar helps. Prefer oily/salt scrubs. I know the tea question has been asked, but what, specifically, about Adagio teas? mmm tea Samples are great. Loose leaf. If you wanted to create a blend for me with your own artwork, that would be fun! (I don't like mate, pu-erh, or rooibos/honeybush) Lapsang, Cream, Butterscotch, Clove? This is Hallowen (by Bran Mydwnter) https://www.adagio.com/signature_blend/blend.html?blend=96188 Trick or Treat (by Bran Mydwnter) https://www.adagio.com/signature_blend/blend.html?blend=96259 Flavored Teas: Kentucky Bourbon Cream Vanilla Thai Tea Butterscotch Caramel Hazelnut Blackberry Orange Gingerbread Hibiscus Chais: Masala Chai Raja Oolong Chai Matcha Teas: Matcha Uji Matcha Matcha Peach Matcha Sticks Peach Matcha Sticks Jasmine Matcha Sticks Traditional or Sweet Matcha Sticks Black Black Teas: Earl Grey Lavender Lapsang Souchong Black Dragon Pearls Tangerine Tuxedo Green Teas: Jasmine Phoenix Pearls Sleeping Dragon Fujian Jasmine Pearl Jasmine Chun Hao Green Dragon Pearls Guizhou Twist Wenshan Mist Green Autumn Mist Green Herbal Teas: Kona Pineapple Elderberry Wine Berry Creme Compote Blood Orange Wild Strawberry Berry Blues Dragon Fruit Dream Turmeric Bliss Wellness: Throat Therapy What about anything tempting from Dandelion Chocolate? (https://store.dandelionchocolate.com/pages/home) Sea Salt Caramels Chocolate Covered Almonds Dandelion Chocolate Chip Cookie Anything from the Pantry & Baking - nibs, chips, chef's chocolate. (Tiffin is one of my favorite things and I like to make it out of "good" chocolate instead of plain chocolate chips.) 9/16/20 Would you, my dear Witchee, like anything from April Gloom? https://www.etsy.com/shop/AprilGloom (this is our @spookygrrrly - switch witch code coming soon to a spreadsheet near you.) I'd really super love a planchette / skull pendant from her but I love her cute pins too. Would you enjoy anything from my friend Brian's Etsy shop? https://www.etsy.com/shop/BrianSerwayArt? I have sooooo many of his prints. I really need some matted (white mat, black frame) for 8x10 for all of his artwork that I haven't hung up yet. The only one I super want in stock right now is I Am No Man. Are you a sock person? If so what are your favourite kinds to wear? Do you have a sockdreams wishlist? The sockdream's wishlists are shareable!! I don't actually like wearing socks but I *DO* need some new ones. I'd love a bunch of black cotton footie socks! Also black cotton crew would be good. I have size 11w feet, so they can't be "one size fits most." I think I put a bunch of sockdreams stuff under my SW Help (in signature.) If you're not near one, is there anything from Trader Joe's you'd like? I'm near one! I can't think of anything I super want that I can't get myself. How do you feel about local items from my city, like spicy (think chili) things or local coffee? The coffee is not spicy lol. I love dark roast coffee but right now it needs to be k-cups. I love green chiles! I have a bunch of chile stuff on my amazon cooking and kitchen and snack wishlists. do you have good feelings about Funko Pop? I don't collect them just to collect them but I have gotten a few that I love. I have the Goblin King, Death, Demogorgon, Jack Skellington. Would love The Man in Black (Princess Bride) and/or Inigo Montoya -- I'm still kicking myself for not buying some when I was at the flagship store in Everett last time. Would love Black Philip. I can't remember if I have a Krampus already or not. Candles! Anything from these places catch your fancy? https://cantripcandles.com/collections (restocks Friday 9/18 at 9:00 PST) https://miruscandles.com/collections https://briarwickcandles.com/collections without knowing if they would irritate my lungs or not, I'm going to have to say no. I love candles; I am a chandler ffs. But my stupid lungs and chronic respiratory disease! Argh!!! 9/17/20 Is there something from your fandom that popped up in another country you'd be particularly interested in? What, and what store? I'm not sure! I don't have any disposable income so I don't really go looking. Would you be interested in some boozy chocolates (or anything else) from https://www.chocolatemoonshine.com/ ? I'm always interested in boozy chocolates but this site does say that all of their chocolates are non-alcoholic. The Creme Brulee and Black Cherry Bourbon fudge look interesting - how much do you get for $20, I wonder? (You can get a pound of Penuche fudge from Holly with free shipping to the US for $20... just saying... and it's SO. FRICKING. GOOD. and the apple pie!!! She could probably try her hand at any custom flavor.) 9/18/20 Witchee, assuming you like home made/home canned condiment goodies, what is your spice level preference? I'm a bit of a spice wimp - maybe as high as cayenne (30-50k) but assume I'm eating it with sour cream or cream cheese or something to cut the heat a bit. I like flavor more than just heat. Would you be interested in anything from Cellar Door Bath Supply Co.? The name makes me laugh because so totally Donnie Darko. Sadly all of their bath salt is sold out and the scents are pretty generic anyway. Much more interested in Luv Milk milk baths. 9/19/20 Lilith are up! Is there anything from the release that you want? Decant or full bottles? I don't really like (or ever use) decants, I'm a full bottle kind of person. Aoede, Melete, Mneme - Sugared cream, vanilla husk, white sandalwood, and flecks of caramel. Baby’s First Ballista - oakwood, vanilla bean, and sugar cookies. Boop - Lavender cream, puppy paws, white patchouli, and honey dust. Between Classes - Fleece spiderwebs, lavender mist, and pink carnations. Perfectly Normal Childhood - spun sugar, vanilla marshmallows, cardamom, and cake batter. Rose Quartz Bedroom - Sugared vanilla rose with saffron, white musk, and Lilith’s favorite lavender. Sentence First, Verdict Afterwards - white roses, tea roses, climbing roses, blood red roses, and a cluster of thorns, blood-spattered and sword-sharp, with clove bud and tobacco flower. Thunk -teakwood, tobacco, iron, and pine tar. Two Frames - buttercream-frosted sprinkle cupcakes and a sprig of lavender. Velut Luna Statu Variabilis - ylang ylang, pink vanilla, carnation chypre, and red benzoin. Metal Twins - Vanilla cake batter (she only wants the batter!) and flan. How would you feel about recipes? You should share them in our BPAL recipe group on facebook?! (whatever happened to our recipe / cookbook area or was that the old forum?) Would anyone be interested in anything from Bucees?! It’s a magical giant beaver gas station/shop! It has spices, fudge, Knick knacks, all things Texas, candy, beef jerky, roasted nuts, and of course beavers! Most things like the fudge and nuts are made in house. No beavers, thx. 9/20/20 How do you guys store your decants so they are not a confused mess? If you've got a system, please share it. I store mine in 100 count ammo boxes and use a grid spreadsheet. 9/21/20 I'm a knitter. I have some knitted washcloths done, and can knit up more. Would you like some? Also, if answered soon enough, I can maybe get a scarf done. Would you like one? What colors would you like? Thin or thick? With or without fringe? Are you allergic to any fibers - wool, cashmere, angora, alpaca? I think I have answered this one multiple times. Anything from my Make for Me bundle is great. No scarves. No washcloths. I prefer merino, merino cashmere, or merino silk cashmere. Bamboo is great for socks. No alpaca or llama. Meh on angora. Absolutely no acrylic except for amigurumi. Witchee, darling, there's a *slight* chance I might be going on a trip next week and *might*, in the course of this trip, have access to Disneyworld goodies from Epcot and Magic Kingdom - any stuff you might desire? WHAT ABOUT HARRY POTTER WORLD?!?! ALL THE CHOCOLATE FROGS!!!!!!! Obviously I like Nightmare Before Christmas stuff -- especially canisters and plates/bowls from Disney. No coffee cups though unless they have really large ceramic or stainless travel mugs with a lid (large = 18-20oz.) I like enameled pins and buttons too. Large oversize hoodies and zip up hoodies but those are probably getting pricey. Would take Haunted Mansion or NMBC pandora type charms for my leather bracelet. NMBC or Haunted Mansion pens -- the HM pen is purple with a bat on the end! YES. 9/22/20 Would you like any of Snag Tights’ Halloween offerings and if so, what size? maybe footless tights or chub rub shorts. Probably a G because I'm a 20/22 and I'm tall. Sigh. Black, purple, skulls, bats... anything gothy. Do you prefer getting one or two really nice/more expensive things or several smaller/less expensive little things? Or do you have no preferance? Whatever my Witch prefers! Witchee, do you like tea? If so, what kind? Srsly? *looks at huge tea wishlists* Witchee, do you want anything? Shirts, mugs, postcards from Anarchist Seattle, Portland, or New York.... https://www.redbubble.com/people/litlnemo/shop?artistUserName=litlnemo Would you be interested in a gently-used tarot deck (or other oracle)? If so, toss out some styles you gravitate towards, cause I have SO MANY DECKS and I'd love to send one or more along! I'd love the Dark Wood tarot from Abigail Larson. Or some runic sets. Or one of the tarot sets from The Creeping Wood. The Phantomwise Tarot is like my holy grail, I wish Erin Morgenstern would make more. Are you interested in receiving a burned CD of music? If so, name of genres, artists, styles that you are into or would like more of to explore. Sure! I mostly love darkwave and gothy stuff. Do you have an Amazon wishlist? If you do and you're ok with getting stuff from it, please share the link! Yes, it's already been shared multiple times in multiple places, lol. SO I KNOW YOU'RE NOT MY WITCH. Unless this is some kind of reverse psychology. Pumpkin/pumpkin spice – yay or nay? Yay in food/drinks but nay in other products (soaps, perfumes, etc.) or vice versa? What are your thoughts? I love the spices that are in "pumpkin spice" but I don't love the way that people think it needs to be orange or to have actual pumpkin in it? It's not about the pumpkin. It's about the clove, cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, etc.!!! I dearly love clove, please all of the clove scented and flavored things. But meh on "pumpkin spice" stuff because it's usually not. Candy corn – love it or loathe it? Or just don’t care much one way or another? HISSSS *holds up cross* *drops cross when it burns her hand* BACK EVIL ONE! BACK! 9/23/20 https://www.poesieperfume.com/loose-leaf-tea <---- would you be interested in receiving tea and / or scents from Poesie? Tea, yes. Scents, probably not. Trying to cut back on the perfume that is taking over my room! Most of their tea sounds great except no yerba mate, no rooibos/honeybush, no chamomile please. I have been remiss--witchee (or anyone needing a minion), I am notorious for homemade caramels, shortbreads both savory and sweet, and catnip/catnip laced toys. I've also started playing with homemade marshmallows and fruit candies. Any interest? I will always accept homemade tasty things! I especially love chocolate shortbread and would love to try a savory one. Love caramels. Would totally take homemade marshmallows. Love candied fruit peel and fruits! 9/25/20 I happen to live near this amazing place. Do you have any interest is anything that I could pick up there? The have hand made pottery, cookie molds, cookbooks with historical recipes all sorts of good stuff. https://www.gcv.org/shop/ Not my time period! I prefer older medieval type things. 10/1/20 Would you be interested in anything from KBShimmer's new Fall nail polish collection or their Falloween collection? No. But I do love their magnetic multichrome polish in other colors! And I could totally use a nail strengthener because my thumb nail keeps splitting. And then of course I need base coats, holographic topper coats, and quick dry top coats. Dang, gets expensive fast!! (but I added some to my Bath, Body, Fragrance amazon wishlist anyway.) 10/3/20 Witchee, darlin', anything appeal from this goth-metal-Satanic Tea company, Pitch Black North? https://www.pitchblacknorth.com/category/all-tea Breath of Demons (natch), Antichrist Pumpkin Spice, Coconut Chai (in that order.) The Vanilla Earl Grey would be my last choice as everything else has chamomile or mint. 10/4/20 the other day I found the pattern I made for a small crocheted skull. I have made some before and included some herbs and oils and such, things that both smell good and are said to carry protective virtues, in the stuffing, and hooked them up to hang in a vehicle or such. Would any of y'all like one of those? UM, DUH. YES. 10/5/20 is anyone a Daredevil fan?? I'm going to be working with Christopher Brewster who is Daredevil in the suit (i.e. the stunt performer but not the FACE of the actor... but when the suit is on... its Brewster). I worked with him on something else... and he was super cool... excited to get to work with him again... but if that's anyone's fandom... I wanna know LOL All the men in tight leather suits please. And Charlie Cox!! 10/12/20 Darling witchee, would you like a candle or other goodies from Last Craft? https://lastcraftdesigns.com/ um, hello my pretties!! pins, stickers, or patches: Robert Smith, Goth Eyes, Strange as Angels, Enjoy the Silence. Bowie. Would totally take Strange as Angels womens t in 2xl. Love Cats lace locks. Candles: Saint Robert, Buffy, Trent Reznor (Emperor of Dirt), RBG NEW WAVE TAROT CARDS Better Off Dead Screen Print!!!! (I WANT MY TWO DOLLARS)

Would you like anything from Spireside candles? https://spireside.com/ I freaking LOVE candles but right now I'm having a hard time burning them and still being able to breathe (chronic respiratory issues) so those and incense are probably out for me. I just told my son that he can have/use my huge stash of partylite candles from when I was a seller. So I guess the answer is "no candles please" - if I burn them, I pay for it with coughing, wheezing, and much emergency inhaler use over the next couple of weeks. Would totally welcome tarts though! I don't see a scent list there and I don't want to click through things one by one (it hurts to sit at computer for very long, sorry.) Doesn't look like wax melts are up at Sihaya yet either but honestly, all of their winter 2019 collection sounds like it would be lovely as wax melts. Maybe especially Fireside Tales, Warm Woolen Mittens, Winter Rose (I LOVE ROSE), and Everwinter Woods. The WInter Collection (Winter 2019) Cookie Party!: The scent of cozy kitchen chaos! Snickerdoodle cookies baking in the oven, oatmeal cookies piped with marshmallow frosting, and sweet sugar cookies cooling on the rack! Courage, Comfort, & Joy: Glad tidings of warmth and hope. A collection of traditional wintertide scents to brighten the darkest nights. Mulberry, lingonberry, red apple, fir needle, and cozy wintry spices. Everwinter Woods: The scent of the mountains shrouded in ice. A forest of evergreen and spruce, chilling ozone top notes of whipping winds, and a hint of shivering eucalyptus. Fireside Tales: This scent is in honor of the nearly-forgotten tradition of telling ghost stories around the Yuletide hearth. Crackling boughs of cedar and birch, glowing embers, and the soft spice of saffron. Gingerbread Latte: A steaming cup of cheer. A gingerbread latte topped with whipped cream and a decadent drizzle of caramel. Old Saint Nick: Cherry pipe smoke, cozy hearth woods, and roasted chestnut. Spiced Wassail: Fine health to thee! A warm mug of cider spiced with a strong kick of cinnamon, nutmeg, and clove to keep you snug while the carolers sing. The Court In Splendour: Glad Tidings from the King! The scent of the Tudor court at Yuletide. A festive blend of bayberry and tart cranberry on a bed of warm balsam and spice. The Memory Of Snow: Silky almond cream, delicate spun sugar, a dash of nutmeg, and the memory of snow. Warm Woolen Mittens: Comfort in the coldest months. Warm wool, sprigs of lavender, and softly smoked vanilla. Winter Rose: A single red rose, freshly plucked and placed upon a bed of bayberry and green boughs of holly, ivy, and balsam. Yuletide: A classic home for the holidays scent. Pine boughs strung with orange clove pomanders and cranberries, and then merrily wound throughout the home! Are you interested in anything from Bird and Blend Tea Company? (https://birdandblendtea.com/us_en/) Bonfire Toffee Great British Cuppa Terry's Orange Chocolate Aniseed Balls Smoky Russian Vicky's Sponge Cake - small amounts (1 oz or less) would be great since I have a *lot* of tea and I hate my parent's kettle, so I rarely make tea. I need to get an electric kettle for my room or something. The story part-Books... Can you be more specific about any particular books you are interested in reading? Do you have any wishlist links? I tend to get way more books than I can read (advance reading copies and the like) and I only do books on .mobi or .epub (kindle or ibooks) since my eyes are going and I need to be able to enlarge the font. My amazon wishlist is linked in my SW Help in my signature, but for ease... my amazon wishlists. Please make sure it's sorted by priority. I'd be happy to have "story" interpreted in artwork or a knitting pattern on my wishlist or however you want to interpret it. Are role playing games stories? I think so! I have a wishlist on gog.com and another on Steam though I'm not sure how to share it (right now the only thing is Anchorhead which is a Lovecraftian graphics/text adventure, so retro and very interactive story.) So a steam gift card would be lovely! As far as dvd's as stories, I'm missing Red Dwarf V, VI, VII, and XII on dvd and would gleefully welcome those. The only other things I really want right now are the extended versions of LOTR and the Hobbit movies on blu-ray and those are expensive, so ... As far as music goes, I would greatly welcome something like an itunes GC. But I'll take CDs, mp3, or whatever as well if you want to send a thumbdrive or burned cd. I can always rip back to mp3 and put on my computer and then phone/ipod or I can play cd's in my car. I mostly only listen to music when driving (on cd or my ipod/iphone) or when showering (on my ipod.) On the decorating spectrum, do you head more towards classic/stylish or towards cheesy/kitsch? Probably neither? hahaha. Nerdy/Gothy? My furniture and desk are grey/black and are marble/granite style. My bistro table is grey marble. My bed sheets are generally grey/black/eggplant. I have Nightmare Before Christmas comforters. or eggplant/black/dark grey. I have many iron/glass/silver/plaster with grey finish sconces. My artwork frames are all black. A lot of my artwork is black/white. I have tons of grotesques and gargoyles. I collect NMBC cookie jars. I'm pretty overloaded with decorations right now since I'm staying with family and can only decorate my room. Most of my stuff is packed up. OH. You probably mean Christmas decorations. Ummm I would love more gothy/nerdy tree ornaments, like NMBC. Unicorns, dragons... but not cheesy ones, nice ones. *wink* My mom used to get me a different Hallmark series ornament every year for my birthday but I think she forgot this year (right now the series is "a pony for christmas" or something like that. I have all of the rocking horses in the series that ended.) I would love a cthulhu tree topper... I really like Krampus things too. Or a weeping angel tree topper... (I have a weeping angel tree ornament.) Fiber artists! (Knitters, weavers, crocheters etc) How would you like to get some nice yarn? I'm pretty overloaded in yarn right now but as long as it isn't acrylic I can probably find a use for it. I prefer black/grey/white/blues/purples/dark reds/dark greens. (no yellow, orange, tan, cream, brown.) No variegated yarn please - I'm only doing solids/semi-solids and graduated. Self striping is ok if it's DK or above. Is there any animal you feel a strong connection with? Many. Pit bulls, Friesian horses, bats, corvids, dolphins, leafy sea dragons. Mythical would be gargoyles of all sorts (especially winged dogs), hippocampus and equines of all sorts... thestrals! (so many creatures in the HP world.)

Switch Witch 2019 - my answers

9/18/19 Would you like anything from Future Primitive? (It's fine to mention OOS things, I've probably already bought it! 🤣 ) https://futureprimitivesoap.co.uk/ Ooh, I'm always envious when I see other people get these. Would love to try some! Assuming they are all paraben, SLS, phthalate free? Bubbling Bathing Grains Body Cream Shampoo Bar Sugar Scrub (any of the three types) Whipped Soap (anything really except bar soap, perfume, and conditioner.) *Ghost Smoke ** Lughnasadh * Opium Den ** The Gloaming Shadow Show Tombstone Witch Cake Bell Book & Candle *Dragon's Blood Cordwainer Festival Four & Twenty Blackbirds OM **Rook & Raven * Sylph ** White Witch Does anyone have a favorite horror movie that they love? Need a copy/DVD of? No thank you, I don't have a dvd/blu-ray in my room and I rarely leave my room. I'm not super into horror any more (used to watch tons of horror and b-movies when I had a BF who was really into it.) Do you like smallish knitted stuff (hats, fingerless mittens, scarves, toys, etc. -- be specific!)? I like crescent, sideways, and bias shawlettes or round/pi/half circle shawls. I do love me some fingerless mitts but the cast on and bind offs need to be done stretchy (cable cast on or JSSCO; JSSBO or lace/russian bind off.) Or you can look in my "Make for Me" bundle on Ravelry. Or the Vampire Swap bundle. Patterns I want (not knitted for me, I want to knit them) are in my Wishlist. Please don't knit things for me that are in my queue, I want to knit those! Do any of these knitted items appeal to you? - Either no, I already have them made, or I already have the pattern and have them in my queue to make. How do you feel about thrift store finds (assuming they're in good condition and have been thoroughly cleaned before shipping)? I love thrifting! Totally fine with me. 9/20/19 I may have bought several full size Rituel de Fille makeup items in a frenzy over their whole vibe. If I tested something once or twice (and it can be sanitized), would you be interested? Sure! I actually have products from them on my wishlist (in signature.) Are you interested in trying different skincare products from higher end, clean brands? Sure! Assuming they are all paraben, SLS, phthalate free. Any interest in anything from Torrid, noting their "fangirl" and Halloween collections are updated? I super want the "Leg Avenue Black Bat Cozy Dress Halloween Costume" and the Microfiber Tighter (black, size 1/2, 30% off.) I'm also interested in everything NMBC, Harry Potter, Doctor Who, etc. What on the following list would you like to receive something related to (or have something donated to in your and Joni's honor?) · animal rescue · pie · dogs · inappropriate candies (either in shape or in contents—ex., boozy candies, creatively shaped peanut brittle…) All of the above! I'll be going to Seattle, London and Paris during this round- anything you'd love to have from any of these locations? YES ALL THE THINGS. Um, I live close to Seattle so I'm good there. London and Paris? Surprise me? I love really good tea (I order from Mariage Freres in Paris but I have lots of their tea on my Amazon edibles wishlist), I love local small batch chocolates (no coffee please. no white chocolate.) Starbucks city mugs? Cool spices? Whatever you'd think I'll like, I'm pretty open. Is there anything you would particularly like from Japan? Stationary, bento supplies, a particular snack, etc. The fall flavors for kitkats this year are Chestnut, Sweet Potato and Apple Pie. ALL THE FLAVORED KIT KATS!!! I love those! I get a lot of things locally at little asian stores but they don't always get the kit kats and when they do, they charge like $8/9 a bag for them. 9/22/19 Thinking about really good natural food stores like Natural Grocers or Whole Foods, if you could have ANY bath and beauty or body care items, what would you love? I'm good on lip balm right now. I love to try new things and I'd love to have some the Vanilla scented items that used to be sold at my local co-ops but I can't ever find anymore by Ecco Bella. I have them on my Amazon bath and beauty wish list. Also interested in skin care, I have super oily skin and need a good moisturizer. Also what kind of treats, snacks, foods, condiments, bulk items, teas, housewares from the same natural food stores would you love? All of them? I love RX Bars but I buy those at costco now (the dark chocolate sea salt and the peanut butter are my favorites.) I've tried the RX Butter and it's good but too runny for me and I hate stirring in the oil over and over when it separates. I love Dave's Killer Bread and the everything Bagels. Licorice Mint tea! Also, are there any particular sustainable kitchen or household items you would love to receive? I have stuff on my Amazon kitchen and house & home wish lists for inspiration. 9/23/19 Did anything catch your eye from the Liliths? Yes, they are already in my wishlist (in signature.) Would you like anything from Lush? Yes yes yes I love bath bombs. And there are some other items on my amazon wish list under bath and body; angels on bare skin, greased lightning, some moisturizer, etc. No soap though please, and I don't use the bubble bars very often. Bombs and melts are awesome. I *LOVE* the sleepy hand cream and go through it really fast. The soap paper things are kind of cool. Would love some of the lust perfume. I loved Flying Fox and .. I forget the name, Puffy White Clouds? The patchouli one. I think their shower gels have SLS in them though, sigh. 9/26/19 Is there anything kind of weird and niche about which you feel this way, fellow witchees? Ummm yeah, actually, a lot of things. Like I'll buy stamps from the UK with cool artwork on them even if I'll never be able to use them. Also US Stamps. Also coins. Also just about anything that I love because I'm a weirdo. also I ADORE Krampus stuff -- I have a couple of Krampus books somewhere in storage (The Devil in Design and I can't remember the other) and would gleefully accept all things Krampus, especially cute Krampus. Stickers, rubber stamps, wrapping paper, pins, post cards, etc. Kickstarter (and similar): Any thoughts, witches? I have been lucky and have gotten everything I've ever backed but there is nothing currently out that I'm needing to have that I'm aware of. I just finally got my Last Unicorn tarot deck and my Wise Dog tarot should be on the way. 9/28/19 Do you have an Etsy/Goodreads/Amazon or anything else wishlist you’d like to share? Yes, in my signature - in the wishlist / sw help portion, scroll down. And what’s your preferred wrist/necklace size? My wrist is about 8" and I think I put this info in the original SW questionnaire? Does anything from Bird & Blend take your fancy? Bonfire Toffee Great British Cuppa Terry's Orange Chocolate Aniseed Balls Smoky Russian Vicky's Sponge Cake Knitting questions have have been asked, but how about wash cloths, anyone need any? What colors?? Nah, I'm good. is there anything from World Market that tickles your fancy? Always! I love World Market. I tend to get chocolate, snacks, sticky toffee pudding (holidays), and whatever else looks fun. This year it seemed like the collection at my store was pretty small and mostly addams family stuff. While that's cute and I adore it, I don't really have room for most of it. (I totally wanted one of the skull head punch/water dispensers from last year though, lol. But ... I have no place to put and nothing to put in it.) 9/29/19 There's a special thing happening over at Rituel de Fille this weekend, where some gorgeous makeup items are coming back for just a couple of days. I'll be placing an order Sunday or Monday- anything that might strike your fancy, either from the special sale or from the site in general? (https://ritueldefille.com) I don't really know what is on the special sale but I have a bunch of items in my wishlist. Anything that you think I would like! How do you feel about tarot or oracle decks? Would you be interested in any (for artwork or for mystical purposes)? New or used? I would like some rune sets but I'm good on tarot decks right now. Charging slabs or something like that would be welcome! (The exception would be the Phantomwise Tarot deck, I love the artwork in that one so much!) Would pigment samples from companies like M.A.C. or Notoriously Morbid tickle your fancy? If so, what colors catch you eye? I have a ton of samples I've never opened but if there are some you think I'd like, sure. I like smoky eye type things and sparkle. greys, blues, purples, blacks, maroons, dark greens? glimmer! sparkle! I want to look like a fricking unicorn! (ok, I actually don't wear make up that often. Pigs and goats aren't impressed, nor are the sheep or my dog.) 9/30/19 do you have a favourite saying or quote? There are so many, how do I choose a favorite? I mean, I have favorite quotes from particular books, tv shows, movies, cartoons, poetry, ... Inconceivable! As you Wish. Always. (short ones) Many longer and more serious ones from Gaiman, Pratchett, Tolkien, etc. etc. etc. How do you feel about spicy foods, and where on the Scoville scale do you hit your limit? Probably Cayenne and down if we're talking about eating. (cream cheese & jalapeno is YUM. We make candied jalapenos too.) For for not eating, we add the hottest peppers we can get to our "thunder butter" muscle rub. How do you feel about coloring books, especially those pertaining to a personal interest or fandom? Nope, I do not color. 10/1/19 A few questions have been asked about knitted items--are crocheted equivalents acceptable? (crocheted fingerless gloves, shawls, etc.) I do not like crocheted garments unless maybe they are tunisian crochet. I'll take all of the crocheted blankets and amigurumi though! Any fiber issues? For wearing, I don't like acrylic, llama, alpaca, mohair, bfl... cashmere pills too much for me. I mostly prefer merino or merino/silk. Or merino/silk/cashmere with a low cashmere content. Acrylic and inexpensive wool or whatever is fine for amigurumi. About the Weenies: please list what you've bought or are definitely purchasing for yourself *as well as* what you would like to possibly receive from someone else! I have zero monies to spend on myself, so I won't be purchasing anything. At first perusal, these look interesting but honestly, I'd rather have NAVA. Devil's of the Pit hair gloss 1 oz decant Pumpkin Spice Silkybat Hair Gloss 1 oz decant Flesh of my Flesh perfume oil Kisses for us All perfume oil Voluptuous Wantonness Perfume Oil Lollipop Snake Oil Perfume Oil Dear Witchee, are you at all boozy? Anywhere between hard cider to straight whisk(e)y? And any interest in the "unusual" stuff? (unusual as in non-mainstream, local craft ciders or meads, regional fruit wines, experiments from local distilleries, etc) Yes, I love booze! I love unusual stuff! I have a list of things I want or want to try, which includes any fruity liqueurs from Yewberry!! We make rose liqueur and lavender vanilla bean (with our own roses and lavender.) I *love* traditional sweet meads. Love fruit wine! I get spiced blackberry and raspberry from RockRidge Orchards in Enumclaw, WA when I can afford it. Also love sweet ciders! I like hard alcohol of all types although I'm not big on tequila, it makes my throat sore. I'm highly interested in samples (or bottles, haha) of: Aperol St. Germain Chartreuse Chambord Pastis a decent absinthe Creme Yvette Drambuie Parfait d'Amour Crème de cassis Advocaat Averna Barenjaeger Benedictine Damiana Galliano Licor 43 Strega 10/2/19 Nail Polish: Do you need or want some? If so, what colors and brands are you interested in? Do I want some? I love sparklies but I rarely use them, so I don't *need* any. I have a huge wishlist for ILNP although don't go overboard because I mostly just wear it on my toes and I don't switch out quickly, so a little lasts me a long time. Vanity from the fall collection (on sale!!) is really calling my name though, along with Isabella (also on sale!) I *have* On Repeat, MEGA (L), Birefringence (H), Raven, and Night Drive. I'd kind of like a red one that doesn't have a copper or orange leaning to it, Black Orchid was the best I could find on the site so it's on my wish list. (shrug) What about postcards? I love beautiful or spooky postcards! I actually save all of my cards and postcards and letters and stuff FOREVER (what, I'm not a hoarder! Pinky swear!) and usually put up the postcards all over my desk hutch. I had to remove them when I moved three years ago and haven't gotten any since then I don't think. How do you feel about salt? I don’t mean, like, salted nuts or potato chips. I mean straight-up salt, like alder-smoked finishing salt or Hana Flake sea salt. I have a bunch of flavored salts and I love them! Problem is that I run out of grinders and have to keep getting more. I have alder smoked, garlic something, pink himalayan, sea salt, kosher salt (I keep a huge box of this), epsom salt for baths. I'd LOVE some coarse Dead Sea Salt to make my own bath salts with (I'll mix with the Pink and the Epsom.) 10/3/19 I am infamous for baking (shortbreads savory and sweet, poundcake, various cookies and bars), butter caramels (flavored or plain), and catnip. Are any of these relevant to you or your household? I love poundcake and caramels and shortbreads and .... would especially love lavender or rose flavored. And vanilla all the things! We grow our own catnip so I'm good there. Plus I have a dog, not a cat. haha. Do you like to cook and do you need/want any spices for such pursuits? I do like to cook but I'm currently living with family and someone is ALWAYS in the kitchen, so I stay out of it. I have kind of an obsession with Penzey's but since I never cook, I have WAY too many spices. Would you wear any of these? Fern , Nuada, Manannan, Duleek Abbey or an infinity scarf or tube cowl tall enough for a hood (like this scarf or this cowl for shape example)? Sorry, I am not a fan of crocheted garments. Do you have any utilitarian needs for everyday life? Things that would help or that you've been needing or wanting for work or whatever? Plenty of ideas on my various amazon and etsy wishlists. They are pretty extensive... but I can't think of anything utilitarian that I absolutely need. What kind of vegan snacks do you like? And vegan chocolate...favorites? I'm not vegan so I'm ok with whatever snacks, but I do avoid corn syrup, dyes, msg, artificial sweeteners, etc. when I can. (So most potato chips and stuff are out, because the majority contain MSG, which gives me a headache.) How would you describe your crafting style? Whimsical & Cute? Elegantly modern? Totally Traditional? Whimsical/Cute/Gothy/Nerdy-Geeky - but not country cute. But I'm sure a lot of the knitting patterns I do are just .. whatever is hot right now in the knitting world. So....we are about to process a metric f*ton of green tomato relish, which is basically bread and butter pickles but with sliced green cherry tomatoes. Is this relevant to any witchees? I don't like sweet relish or sweet pickles. I *love* dill pickles (and dill pickled anything... green beans, asparagus, carrots, whatev.) Maybe not beets though. (I only like beets in borscht.) How do you celebrate Halloween/Samhain? Do you dress up? Would you like something for your costume? And am I the only person left on the planet who wears socks? These days it's pretty much like every other day. (Halloween is every day, after all!) No, I don't dress up special although the dogs might be tormented... I don't even dress up for renn faires anymore, or cons for that matter. Nothing for my non existent costume. I do not often wear socks unless it is raining or snowing and I must wear actual shoes instead of sandals... Are you interested in anything from Art Of Tea or Adagio Teas? I have never tried Art of Tea, but I tend to buy things like flavored black teas in cinnamon, rose, chocolate, butterscotch, vanilla, chocolate orange, vanilla chai, chai with a strong anise flavor, etc. or just really nice strong black tea. I also love licorice mint basil tea (think Aveda's tea blend) or just licorice mint. And I can't live without Traditional Medicinals Breathe Easy and Throat Coat since I have huge respiratory issues. I make light-weight hairfalls, doll-style, using a variety of fun stuff, like ribbons, lace and soft batting. Would you be interested in receiving a set in the colors of your choosing? Maybe? I live out in the country and never go anywhere so I'm afraid they wouldn't get good use. And a quick question here--I'm going to this amazing looking event on Saturday--does my witchee see anything they might be interested in? (the Oddities Market) I didn't see anything on the photos listed and I'm hurt too much (shoulders/neck) to stay by the computer very long today, sorry. But I love sugar skulls, bats, ravens, pibbles, friesians, hippocampus.. I don't really need any jewelry per se, but I took a beading class so I could use interesting and weird beads and findings? I have a collection of gargoyles and grotesques, nice roses made from different mediums (leather, silk, metal - not cheap ones from michaels or halloween stuff.) Oh, and of course Krampus and Cthulhu!! How do you feel about enamel pins? Love them, hate them, slightly interested, totally indifferent? So they're one of those things I'm weird about. I have a ton of enamel pins but I've literally never taken any out of their packages because I don't wear them or use them. But people have gotten me some from Disneyland (Malificent and Jack Skellington), I backed some in a kickstarter because so cute (cute egyptian gods), I have some alchemical symbol ones from Stryx Publishing (Seattle) - Leviation Cross and Monas Hieroglyphica, etc. But yeah, they all live in a cookie jar. Oh, and I got the full set with my Last Unicorn tarot kickstarter package but I'll probably trade, gift, or sell those because there isn't even a unicorn one! So, to make a long story short (too late), I'm slightly interested if it is relevant to my interests and tastes, otherwise do not want. I should really start putting them all on a cloth and then inside a frame or something so I can look at them. what is your T-shirt/shirt of choice Size? I wear a women's 2X from TeeTurtle (the only place I have purchased t-shirts lately.) men's t-shirts just don't fit properly. OCTOBER LUNACY! I know turn around time is unlikely, but just saying (JUST SAYING), dear Witchee, did anything catch your eye? Not this lunacy, but they're still up - I want the vanilla/carnation duet because I've heard good things. And the patchouli/tobacco (dang, oos.) and the red rose/tobacco. And the amber/oud. Man, I guess I haven't been paying attention because I don't have any monies to spend, haha. I have a bunch of red rose/tobacco scents, so the amber/oud and the vanilla/carnation would be priorities. So Blood Moon Botanica is having an update soon. It's a surprise what will be listed (besides the Moon Dew serum), but you can take a look at past items on her web page: https://archaichoney.com/bloodmoonbotanica (Britton used to run Haus of Gloi.) Witchee, are you interested in anything from the Blood Moon Botanica update? I would love more Moon Dew serum and I'm a fan of her tea and other things. The calming elixir and linden flower elixir both look good, as does the turkey tail. If I was to donate to an animal rescue on your behalf as the "lucyboo" component of this swap, is there one in particular that you would choose? I love bats in particular but there was a local pet place here that spayed/neutered all of the feral cats on our place at no cost to us (one cat moved in... pregnant... had kittens... those kittens had kittens.. we trapped them all, kittens got rehomed, adult ferals got to live here after getting fixed/shots. We only see them on the security cameras but we feed them.) So long story short (too late), maybe Pet Savers in Spokane? https://www.petsaversspokane.org/ What is your very favorite Halloween candy? If you don't have one/don't do candy, what's a seasonal treat you love? I've been totally eyeing the halloween mice, bats, and stuff at Burdick chocolate (https://www.burdickchocolate.com/halloween.aspx) - some of those truffles sound delicious! But they're expensive so, yeah. We make the smitten kitchen pumpkin bread every year (since 2016, so... three years. Made some already this year as soon as it was fall.) I like caramel apples. Fisher fair scones remind me of fall because it's a weird Washington thing I guess. (I don't know if I've seen the mix for sale in Spokane, it's all over in Seattle.) Kettle corn, fresh from an actual kettle (used to get it at the corn mazes/pumpkin patches every year in the Seattle area.) Pumpkin hard cider! I am not a fan of "pumpkin spice" though. Salted caramel mocha at sbux (with hardly any mocha, although honestly it's pretty much the same thing I usually have there - toffee nut latte, but add some salt, caramel on top, and mocha. The gingerbread is my favorite though it doesn't usually come out until after Halloween, if it comes at all. and I usually do flavored stevia in my coffee so having sbux is a huge sugar jolt that I don't indulge in often.) Whatever seasonal selections are available from localish chocolate places like Frans, Moonstruck, Boehms, Theo, Seattle Chocolates/JCOCO, etc. Trader Joes seasonal stuff. World Market seasonal stuff. I just got an email from Lush that their Christmas stuff is now up online! anything you might like? OMG, ALL THE THINGS. I got that email too and went and looked... now I have tons more stuff on my Amazon bath & body wishlist. I'm most excited about: Snowflake body lotion Sleepy Dust Snow Fairy Amazeball Boo Shower Slime Bath bombs If you were my witchee, would you enjoy home made (canned) preserves? I'm going home to Can All The Things & I'm thinking some bananas foster butter/sauce might be a nifty thing for you. I've never had such a thing as bananas foster. But yes, all the home made preserves and stuffs!! I am in Las Vegas is there anything you would want from here? A Las Vegas starbucks gift card (can be empty, I just want the card. I have New York, Miami, and Seattle... not a very big collection. They usually make you load at least $5 though.) If you make it to the Vosges store and they have chocolate skulls, one of those would be cool. My favorite flavor is the Naga (coconut curry milk chocolate.)

    Eve v5

Unreleased prototype, no scent description given. This was my favorite of the two unreleased Eve versions available. This is sweet golden apples. Not tart in the slightest. I get a vision of golden delicious apple slices dripping in honey. There is something almost floral in the background, perhaps apple blossoms. Edit: Tested this one again today and while is does remain apple, there is a floral that is coming up as well. Could be some white rose and again I want to say apple blossom.

    Switch Witch 2018 Answers

Speaking of OOS/Discontinued - Are there any old favorites from no longer operating companies that you would like if either anyone had a stash OR could find a reasonable dupe? The original Vanilla single note from The Body Shop (circa 1990.) Booze, yea or nay? Favorite kinds? yea! I love sweet meads, wines (especially ice wine and tawny port), ciders, liqueurs, hard alcohol (baileys, flavored vodkas, schnapps)... do not like dry meads, ciders, or wines. I like SOME beer, mostly stout. Knitted stuff? Need/want anything specific? Colors? I like knitted stuff but as I'm a knitter I am usually overflowing in knitted things and end up giving most away or selling them. If you really need to knit something for me I have a bundle on Ravelry called "Make for Me" (also Halloween / Vamp Swap) and I like dark colors like black, dark grey, dark wine/burgundy/black over red, dark purple. I do not like navy blue, white, beige, tan, yellow, orange, or usually pink.) Feelings re: Lewis Carroll/Alice in Wonderland? Love it, hate it, meh it? I love Alice in Wonderland! I really like the original artwork (especially white rabbit wearing his heart tunic and Alice playing croquet with the flamingo and hedgehog.) I have fabric from Spoonflower with the artwork for making project bags. Would you like a postcard from the fancy schmantsy St Pancras Renaissance hotel that I'm about to stay in several times over the next month? Sure, I love receiving mail. Does anything catch your eye from Future Primitive, including oos things? Scents that sound lovely: Opium Den, Rook & Raven, Sylph, White Witch, Potages Cauldrons, The Gloaming, OM, Cordwainer. Whipped soap, scrubs, bathing grains, body cream all sound good. Are you thinking of participating in NaNoWriMo this year? Any merch or pre-Nano supplies you might want? No, I do not enjoy writing in the slightest. I just recently discovered MoonMagic -jewelry with a focus on moonstones but also opals and labradorite. They currently have a sale. Anything that stands out to you? (moonmagic.com) Crescent Moon (moonstone) especially, but also Ellipse, Dropping wisdom (both in moonstone), and Orbit Teardrop (labradorite) -- oh, but none of those are on sale. Let's see, sales items. Size 7 rings: Cosmic Daze, Moon Trance, Seahorses, White Virgin, Waves, Sky Energy, Size 11 rings: Luminance Moonstone Teardrop (loose) Do you like quirky socks? Any preferred styles (ankle, thigh-high..)? No, I rarely wear socks. Not at all from April - October and grudgingly during the winter under boots. I mostly only wear black socks unless I'm wearing converse in which I wear white or grey. Are you interested in anything from Nerdlacquer? Not as much as I'm interested in ILNP. There is a list of ILNP I'd love to try under SW Help link in my signature. Let's get specific about this knitting thing! Do any of these items/styles appeal? I've numbered these so you can just reference numbers if you like! 1, 2, 4, 10, 11 -- if I happen to have a knitter as a witch, I actually have somebundles on Ravelry - "Make for me" or "Halloween or Vamp Swap" with items I'd be interested in having someone make for me. Please don't make me things off of my wish list or out of my queue, those are things that I want to make. If your witch was able to obtain digital media that you could not access (TV, movies, books, etc.), is there anything you have been in search of for quite a while? If yes, what devices do you use to play such (i.e. Windows, Mac, etc.)? I'd love the Robert Anton Wilson Illuminatus Trilogy, Shroedinger's Cat, and The Historical Chronicles of the Illuminati (three books starting with The Earth Will Shake) on mobi or epub. I actually have a huge list of books that I'd like on audio or mobi Is there anything you want from Japan? Some kind of food, cute stationary, fandom merch, maybe you collect lucky cats, anything! yummy kit kats! Also Nightmare Before Christmas stuff! Are you witchy or like witchy things like incense, sage, palo santo, crystals, tarot, altar supplies, candles, etc.? Whatcha like/need? Low smoke incense, palo santo, crystals, altar supplies, ritual / chime candles, yes. I have some altar supplies on my amazon wishlist (I think under house/home) -- altar bell, altar chalice, some altar cloths in different colors (need red), can always use chime candles, TALs, etc. I'm waiting on my Last Unicorn tarot deck (kickstarter) as well as The Wise Dog tarot (I can wait to see which card my dog gets - I paid for one of my dogs to be in the deck) and I just received a Game of Thrones tarot deck for my birthday, so I think I'm set there. I put what kind of crystals/gemstones I like in my SW questionnaire. Do you need decanting supplies? Sample vials? Pipettes? Standard labels? I could use vials but I'm good on pipettes and labels. Can you link to your non forum wishlists/goodreads if you haven't already done so? Mine should all be linked on the spreadsheet and in my signature. Some of them are linked from SW Help (in my signature.) If you're a yarn user, what kinds of yarn do you like best? I have a yarn wishlist on The Loopy Ewe and Knit Picks (both linked in SW Help) as well as some yarn on my Amazon list (under Fiber Arts) and on Etsy. I love plain merino as well as merino/silk/cashmere. Gradient yarns are my favorite but I love semi solid colors too. I don't like variegated yarn. I do love me some self striping but I think I have more than I can ever knit at this point unless you find some in worsted or DK. (no fingering) For shawls I like fingering yarn but everything else I'd prefer DK or Worsted. Twisted Fiber Arts is one of my favorite yarn dyers but they are super expensive. Spooky stuff! D'ya like... ghosts? Skeletons? Aliens? Bigfoot? Unsolved mysteries? I like skeletons, gargoyles, and bats. No ghosts, witches, aliens, zombies, werewolves, etc. I live in the Pac NW so of course we have bigfoot everything but I'm not especially a fan. Is there anything from the Lush christmas line that was just released that you're interested in? I think I already added those to my SW Help, ahaha. I'd love some more Sleepy lotion (I guess not the Christmas line, it's around on year, but I went through 6oz of it this spring and could use some more.) Interested in the Snow Fairy body spray and the Snow Fairy body conditioner as well as the Sleepy shower gel. I love Butterbear (one of my favorite Lush scents) and wouldn't mind trying the Puddy Holly. Is there any scents from the more current releases you have been wanting to try (Weenies, Motherhood/Fatherhood)? I haven't been able to get anything from most of the releases in the past couple of years. I'd REALLY like No DNA Test Required. I think I've added things to my wishlist and ISO though, and I'll keep those updated. How do you feel about buttons, pins, and badges? I never really used to be a fan but lately I've been getting pins .. I don't really have any place to PUT them though (I don't carry a bag with me anywhere, ever, unless it's a project bag and I'm going to be knitting. I don't wear a jacket because I'm always too hot.) So they're all stuffed in a canister. Practical Magic or Hocus Pocus? I've never seen Hocus Pocus but I do love me some Practical Magic. Does anything from either of these shops interest you? The Stitchety Witch cross stitch creations and patterns No thank you! Black Abbey Studios (http://www.blackabbeystudios.com/store) art w/ a gothic tendency -- ooh, I love Midnight in the Garden. Also Faithful Friend, King Puck, and Triggers. Is there something (either a specific item, or type of item, like bath/body, perfume, candy etc) you're really looking forward to or hoping to get? Whatever my Witch wants to send! I would love to get some of the Liliths (BPAL/BPTP) or some of the Shihaya scents in Sorbetto (especially Ember & Mallow or Sisterhood of the Moon) - I wanted to buy some but I'm saving my monies for swaps and dog food. There is a bunch of LE Nocturne Alchemy that I'm interested in as well. But I'm not expecting to get anything in particular, I'm always surprised! What's something you want or look at, but always talk yourself out of buying (or for whatever reason never purchase)? Everything, haha! The Sihaya / Paintbox Soapworks stuff I mentioned above, Blackthorn Hoodoo Blends tea, ILNP (nail polish - the mega hologram), rituel de fille samplers... I'm sure I could think of more. I usually just add them to my cart, laugh at the price and add to my wishlists instead, and then try not to obsess about them. Are there any subscription/subscription style boxes you have an interest in?(This could be a very specific sub like sihaya or lootcrate or an idea/concept you're interested in without a specific company in mind, like "book related candles"). I love the Forest Nui Cobalt boxes and have seriously considered the Sihaya until I read the scent notes of what is included and then meh out. (I did win a contest from her instagram where I received some leftovers of various boxes and those were lovely. I do love Sihaya candles so much! I can only burn them very very occasionally and have to wear a respirator but I can still smell them through it. Usually it's too much of a hassle to wear the disposable respirators so I don't do it very often. (sorry - tangent - I would love some non-disposable respirators in gothy fabric or black and some replacement filters.) Things like witchy / crystal / tea / pig / dog boxes are all cool. I unsubscribed from bark box because I couldn't afford it anymore but Zuul loves getting it. Coffee or Tea? I love both but right now I'm only doing k-cups for coffee (I also do some k-cup tea) and I have SO MUCH loose lea tea. I just found a 32oz ingenuitea at a local store for $20, so I'm going to go buy that. I do have two teapots without filters so I could use a gold filter or something to set down in those while I'm brewing. I can always use more egyptian licorice mint tea and the traditional medicinals "breathe easy." My favorite coffee k-cups are the Death Wish (regular death cups and odin.) My favorite tea capsules are Harney & Son (Paris, Hot Cinnamon Spice, and Peppermint - that's all they had in stock and I have tons) but other flavors might be fun. I have some tazo chai and english breakfast too. Anything from David's Tea(esp the new Halloween) that catches your eye? Their spooky tin is super cute! The organic stormy night!! The peanut butter cup sounds intriguing. Also the color changing mug is so cute! But I really don't need more mugs (she says, eyeing the BPTP/BPAL mug, haha.) Oh, and the maple matcha sounds lovely. (My favorite teas are black, matcha, and sometimes green or white but I don't especially love other kinds.) What are your DISO BPAL dreams? No DNA test required for sure. The Liliths on my wish list. For those of us Switch Witches who ARE witches....if you have a Book of Spells would you like a page for it from your witch? That would be awesome, I love the big scrapbook spellbook from Practical Magic. I have horrible writing and am not talented in the way of putting together something like that. What house were you sorted into? Pottermore sorted me into Hufflepuff which I disagree with because I think I'm more of a Ravenclaw/Gryffindor. But the Honey Badger is my spirit animal, so there's that. There are some really awesome spice shops in NYC. Would you like/need any herbs or spices? I really don't have a NEED for more herbs/spices since I've been taking advantage of all of the Penzey specials and I've also stocked up on medieval spices. Anything from this curiosity shop the type of thing that interests you? Dreadful Curiosities: https://www.facebook.com/pg/dreadfulcuriosities/photos/ Nothing with fur (or scary clowns) but any of the skulls would be cool. I have two ravens and a coyote as well as sheep. Are you a board game nerd like me? Is there a game you want right now? I haven't really played a lot of board games lately and I don't really have anyone to play with right now since I'm isolated out in the middle of nowhere and all of my friends are on the other side of the state in Seattle (or scattered across the world!) That being said, I would love to play Cards against Humanity and I backed Unstable Unicorns Control & Chaos (but I don't have the regular deck.) I have the NSFW version of Exploding Kittens but expansion packs are cool. I have a new question! I'll be headed to the PA RenFaire the end of this month. Is there anything you'd be interested in? http://www.parenfaire.com/faire.html (if you scroll down a bunch there's a list of merchants) Wow, it looks like a huge faire! I am jealous, I love going. I usually get things like birch beer, mead, torques, pirate coats, silver toned buttons with celtic knots (especially dogs/ravens/horses/hippocampus), any kind of roses (metal/feather/leather/whatever), pottery, etc. I have a nice belt, dagger, wooden tankards, table knife (maybe a fork/spoon?), shoes, garb, pouches, drinking horns, etc. I love the huge lightweight blankets or tapestries that you find at renn faires, would love one with a horse knot in blue/purple/black. Dragons are good too or witchy things, celtic knots in general, whatever. There are so many cool things at faires that I wouldn't even know where to start for wishes without seeing things. would you like a crocheted doll related to one of your interests? I already have a super cute pit bull one from dixiehellcat! (But it's packed up somewhere with most of my belongings. I feel like this is my life, living with most of my things packed up for years and years. I adore amigurumi but I really don't have any place to put such things right now. Would you want me to put a collection of rocks/gems together for you? And if so, is there anything you'd want me to focus on? (health, peace, protection, creativity, love, etc...) I have quite a few but can always use more! I need health, luck, wealth, peace/peaceful home, protection, love, .... doesn't everyone? Also luck with my legal matters (divorce hearing) coming up in December. Are you interested in anything from this store? https://www.tafilu.com/stores/witches Any of the hoodies in black (or charcoal grey) would be fun, especially the hollow eve riding group, heart with skeleton hands, paw readings, resting witch face with the bat, or the skeleton horse!! I like oversized things so a 2 XL would probably be good. The long sleeved tee's in a 3x would probably work too, again black or charcoal grey. Is anyone interested in the New update? I am so lusting after Snake Oil Cream Soda and the Samhain prototype. I added all of the new things I'm interested in to my Wish list and ISO.

    Eanach Dhuin

If my health is spared I'll be long relating Of that boat that sailed out of Anach Cuain. And the keening after of mother and father And child by the harbour, the mournful croon! King of Graces, who died to save us, T'were a small affair but for one or two, But a boat-load bravely in calm day sailing Without storm or rain to be swept to doom. What wild despair was on all the faces To see them there in the light of day, In every place there was lamentation, And tearing of hair as the wreck was shared. And boys there lying when crops were ripening, From the strength of life they were borne to clay In their wedding clothes for their wake they robed them O King of Glory, man's hope is in vain. - ANTOINE Ó RAIFTEIRI Unutterable grief expressed through the scent of balsam, frankincense, blackberry leaf, oud, white rose, driftwood, zdravetz, and bitter clove, beneath the cold waters of the River Corrib. In the bottle this is a dark aquatic scent. Hard to pick out the notes individually. On my skin, the white rose and frankincense make an appearance. On inhale I think of a light blue but the exhale is dark blue-green. It is aquatic, but not overwhelmingly so. A bit cologne-y and masculine. Dry: Aquatic and cologne have left the building. Clove and frankincense are out in force. Woody too. Love!! How did this go from aquatic to spicy wood??

    Winter Solstice Swap 2017

Are there decants that you wished you ordered but didn't? Things you wish you had ordered more of? I haven't been able to afford Liliths yet, let alone Weenies or Yules... But I'm going to try to get Liliths before they go down. My wishlist is up to date with Weenies and Yules. Are your Amazon, Etsy etc wishlists up to date? They should be. Amazon has priority settings so please sort high to low; I wish we could do that with Etsy. how do you feel about animated films? I used to be way more into anime but I'm not really anymore. My son has stolen all of my Ranma 1/2 dvds. I still watch some disney and pixar movies occasionally. NMBC is love! I watch Coraline once a year or so. My current fave animated movies besides NMBC are Brave and How to Train Your Dragon. Is there a book you've always meant to read, but never got round to it? Sure, but I have them already. My amazon book wishlist is very up to date; the books I really want are marked as very high or high priority. I put lots of inexpensive kindle books on there too. If you've expressed an interest in candles, do you prefer unscented or scented and if the latter, what scents? Sorry, I've answered so many similar swap questions that I can't keep track of which is which anymore! I love beeswax pillars like the ones from Big Dipper Waxworks (not rolled beeswax, I prefer poured.) Candles with intent would be fine! I do prefer pillars over jars because wick placement is usually better in pillars. Scent wise I like things like Vanillas, spices (clove, cardamom, cinnamon in small amounts), woodsy, bayberry, smoky, incense, marshmallow, patchouli, resins, tobacco, lavender, geranium, sandalwood, rose, etc. and lean towards essential oil types of the scent. For example, I think the yankee candle lavender smells nothing like actual lavender. There are some candles on my etsy and amazon wish lists - there are some Witch City Wicks, Dark Candles, etc. that I have been lusting over but I can't justify spending monies on them. Do you like windchimes or other similar tinkley noisemakers? I would love some gargoyle windchimes. (I have some unicorn ones and some that I inherited from my grandmother. Most of the ones that I long after are probably too expensive.) I still kind of lust over a small gargoyle guardian bell (I think there is one on my amazon wishlist, they're meant to put on motorcycles.) If you were to find something cool like that, it would be great. I wouldn't say no to a tibetan singing bowl for my altar. Do you/would you like Christmas/holiday music? If so, any particular genres or styles? I already have a lot of Christmas holiday music from my favorite bands so no thank you. Do you have a Goodreads? Is it useful for my stalking purposes? I do have a goodreads but I don't think it would be useful for stalking purposes. My amazon would be more useful. (I like librarything better than goodreads but it still isn't completely updated because most of my books have been packed up for 15-20 years. Link is in my SW help.) Are there any holiday movies or shows you would particularly love to get your hands on? Maybe some of the nostalgic rudolph christmas animated movies? (Year without a Santa Claus) Would you prefer your nourishment to be literal (i.e., actual food) or representative? Totally up to you. Bath/body, food, whatever. In terms of actual food, are you comfortable with homebaked goodies so long as potential allergens are not involved? yes! Do you have favorite holiday foodstuffs? Last year I received a homemade christmas pudding and it was SO GOOD. I need the recipe! And then I bought some sticky toffee pudding from World Market and that was delicious too. Are you adverse to burning things as part of your sacrifice? Would rather not unless it's meant to be burnt (incense, candles, paper.) So how do you feel about teas? Would you be interested in getting some for your "nourishment" part of your gift? If so, are there particular companies you love or have always wanted to try? Special varieties you like- holiday blends, or decaf or solid standards like Earl Grey or Sencha? I have so much tea it isn't funny. I wouldn't ever say no to Mariage Freres though. And what about tea accoutrements, like rock sugar, nice honey (I have a fabulous apiary that is literally 6 blocks from my house!), a special spoon? I always love locally sourced honey. I could use a really large (32oz) teavana perfectea maker. Or maybe coffee is more your thing? And would you want your beans whole or ground (if ground, what grind do you like?) I'm good on coffee I think, unless you have a super special blend you want to share with me. I usually prefer whole bean but I am not sure I'll be able to find my grinder or my french press. The only coffee maker in the house right now is my dad's keurig. Scented candle lovers: do you have a favorite store/brand? Indie companies are love. I'd love to try Witch City Wicks or Dark Candles (there are some on my bath / beauty / fragrance amazon wishlist for a hint of what kind of fragrances I like.) I just ordered a bunch of candles from Sihaya and Co. because she was having a secret menu sale so I finally get to try those. I was hoping to get some for swapping but they aren't guaranteed to be mailed until the middle of december. Oops. Favorite/Least favorite bath products (e.g. do you like scrubs, bar soap, gel)? Favorites: shower gel, salt/oil scrubs Least favorite: bar soap (because I make it and I have about 500 bars.) No SLS or parabens, trying to avoid phthalates. My skin is uber dry from thyroid issues and also breaks out really easily. What sounds are comforting for you? Any that bring up good memories? Hoofbeats, saddle leather creaking, horse tails swishing, neighing. (Yes, I miss my horses.) I have lots of white noise generators on my phone and I use those to sleep when I'm away from home. At home I have a noisy air cleaner to provide white noise. Do you like and use christmas/other celebration decorations, baubles and the like? I used to buy a purple, iridescent, sparkly, or some kind of mystical creature (dragon, unicorn, grotesque) every year for my tree but haven't done that lately. My ex didn't really like having a real tree. I doubt we'll have a real tree this year either because I'm staying with my 70-something parents and they have a little fake tree that they like to put up. My mom already has all of the decorations she needs (and more.) I'm always sad that they don't have a fireplace - so no good place to hang stockings. (Yes, I still do a stocking for my kid who is almost 30 and for my parents, and they do one for me.) I have one of those aluminum trees with a disco light in storage somewhere with all of my Christmas decorations. Would YOU like to receive a singing bowl? Yes! Would you mind receiving a pre-loved book (one in good condition)? I have a really hard time reading physical books because of my eyes. My contact prescription is too strong to read things. I do all of my reading on my ipad these days with either ibooks or the kindle app. How do you feel about fruitcake, assuming that I can make it without any stated allergens? We just made cherry almond fruitcake today! That's the only fruitcake I've ever had that I liked. How about rum/whiskey/bourbon balls (these are no-cook, so the alcohol is still pretty potent)? Heck yeah!! But I don't like walnuts. What is your favorite store-bought holiday treat? such a hard question. maybe the chocolate covered peppermint joe-joes from trader joes? I already bought a couple of boxes though and I had two boxes leftover from last year since R wasn't around to eat them all. (Amazing how much longer my treats last without someone else to eat them all.) I'm having a hard time thinking of winter holiday treats... I can think of valentine day treats (cupcake royale's "Death Cake") but the brain fog is blocking my thoughts right now. oh! I was going to buy some Sticky Toffee Pudding from World Market but they didn't have any so we might attempt to make our own this year. Most of the "store bought" stuff I used to get was from local bakeries/stores/grocery stores, I miss all of my Seattle stores.

    12 Days of Christmas 2017

12 Days of Christmas 2017 -- you can also read my answers from Switch Witch and 13 Days of Halloween 2017 in my blog if you want. Are you coveting anything currently available from Haus of Gloi? I'm super sad that my Rose City pumpkin butter is almost gone (and I don't see it on the site anymore - it was rose and patchouli.) * Snow Wolf, Turkish Delight, would love of a sample of Haus Amber and Nefarious Gingerbread Man. (Pumpkin Butter and any of the scrubs.) * Pomander, Fir Boughs and Incense, Serenity (butter bombs) * Candy Cane, Butterscotch (lip balm) * For perfume only, the birthday ambers are on sale and I was wanting to try Amber & Rose, Amber & Incense, or Amber Noir. The Fall Black Musks are killing me, I love black musk. I'm most interested in Black Musk & Nag Champa, Black Musk, Leather & Rose, Black Musk, Anise & Vanilla. I've never smelled their black musk though, so I hope it's good! Are you coveting anything from the Paintbox Soapworks update that just happened? Sorbetto or bath streusel only: Winter Stories or Figs in Honey. (no lotions or soap please.) I do love her goat milk body cream and wish she would make the lavender honey scented again. There are plenty other of scents on there I'd love too. Are you coveting anything from Cocoa Pink? - Scent wise: Black, Black Marshmallow, Black Vanilla, Black Velvet, Black Widow, Broomstick, Come-hither, Cozy Blanket, Fear of Ghosts, Genevieve, Lipstick Stains, Marshmallow, Monster in the Walls, Naughty, Sensory Deprivation Tank, Stanley Hotel, The Upside-Down, Vanilla on the Rocks, Vanilla Rose, - Product wise: ShampPink shampoo, dermabrasion sample, I'm 29 serum, either the coco mango or the voluptuous body butters, linen spray, sugar scrub. No perfume please. How do you feel about pomanders? They smell good - I used to make them for people. How do you feel about savor soaps? No bar soap for me please. I am not really a fan of whipped soap either, but I do like sugar scrubs so I added some of those to my etsy wishlist. I added some whipped soap too, but mostly for the scents that I liked, not for the whipped soap itself. Or Perfectly Posh? No thank you. Do you have feelings about fruitcake? We're talking whiskey soaked homemade fruitcake, not a brick in a festive tin. So I've only ever had one fruitcake that I liked -- cherry almond fruitcake (with pears, marzipan, and amaretto.) I usually beg my mom to make me one every year. Any strong nail polish and/or makeup preferences? I don't usually wear nail polish (except for BPTP polish!) but I have some on my etsy list that changes color (I'm a sucker for color changing things) and I'm really intrigued by ilnp. (Raven, Abyss, Moonstone, Birefringence, Westwing, By Nightfall, Ava, Walking Home, Missed Calls, Deja Vu....) Makeup wise, I only wear prescriptives foundation and powder. I love black eyeliner that won't smudge or smear (I've been using Stila smudge stick and kat von d tattoo liner but both of those still run a little.) I just got two lippies in another swap but I can always use more (light 'blue leaning' plums/rose.) I don't wear brown, yellow, gold, beige, or cream. I'm into silver, black, grey, purple, blue. Sometimes reds/greens but not often. I have a ton of loose eyeshadows but rarely wear them. I could use some good mascara. Favorite animals? Not in any particular order: Bats, pibbles, friesian horses. Mythological: hippocampus, unicorn, gargoyles/grotesques, toothless. Do you have a strong preference for consumables (soaps, candles, food, etc.) over other stuff? I have a strong preference for things that are useful as opposed to things that just sit. Games, shirts, foods, yes! (no bar soap please.) Would you be interested in Colorpop? The only palette that calls to me is the Yin to your yang. For lippies, I like Ice Cube, Sauce, Baewatch (ugh, I hate the name though), and the Amethyst crystal balm. Black eyeliner. Would you like any holiday music? if so, do you prefer a CD or MP3? No thank you. Do you like toffee or fudge? Fudge yes, but no nuts or anything in my fudge. Love butterscotch or peanut butter! Plain chocolate is awesome too but my mom makes that, as well as toffee, every year. How do you feel about amigurumi (little crochet stuffies...animals, characters, ornaments, etc.)? I like them! (We make and sell them on our etsy store.) My most favorite one ever was a pit bull amigurumi that was gifted to me. If I were to crochet you something wearable, do you have any preferences? Do you like hats, scarves, gloves, other? And would you prefer something fun and whimsical (e.g. fox face hat or owl mittens), something delicate and pretty (e.g. lacy wraps or scalloped boot cuffs), or just something like a basic, no frills beanie or cowl? Do you have a Ravelry account and a list of favorite patterns? I really don't like most crocheted wearables, I prefer knitted. I am on Ravelry as misstwilight and I do have some bundles under my favorites called "make for me." Please don't make anything out of my general favorites. What kind of hot drinks do you like, and if tea or coffee or cocoa or cider or alcohol, give specifics? Lately I have been mostly using the keurig to make coffee and tea (or using cold brew coffee.) I do have some coffee beans and tea on my amazon "edibles" wishlist. I like black tea, especially flavored or cinnamon, and mint tea - especially with licorice. (I hate chamomile.) I love sweet hard cider, especially JK Scrumpy and Ace's pumpkin cider. Ghiradelli Double Chocolate cocoa and Vosges Parisian drinking chocolate are my favorites. Alcohol wise, I like just about everything but mostly things like amaretto, baileys, kahlua, sinfire, vanilla vodka, marshmallow vodka, etc. What kind of candles do you like, scent, etc? Vanillas, spices, woodsy, smoky, incense, marshmallow, patchouli, resins, tobacco. Mixes or seasonings for the kitchen? I'm probably pretty good on spices since I don't cook much. What is something new in your life that you wish you had more "things" for? Probably my altar. I could use an altar cloth and some other items. We do a lot of baking and holiday good ridiculousness around here...house specialties include lebkuchen (flourless, they're mostly nuts, spices, candied fruit), marzipan, butter caramels (flavored or plain), shortbread crisps, and savory cheese shortbread. Any of these sound appealing? Nothing with nuts please. (It's a texture thing - I like nut butters though.) We do caramels too but I'd love to taste yours, especially flavored! Mmmm savory cheese! What are your top places to get a gift card from? ooh, hard to say. Smellies wise: BPAL/BPTP, Moonalisa, Nocturne Alchemy. Food wise: Panera, MOD Pizza, Qdoba/Chipotle, Trader Joes Otherwise: Amazon, Twisted Fiber Art, The Loopy Ewe, Paradise Fibers, Fresh from the Cauldron (etsy), Teeturtle, ThinkGeek, Costco. I'm sure I could think of more but really anywhere would be a treat. Which holiday symbols/themes do you like the best (or least)? Such as Santas, snowflakes, reindeer, etc. KRAMPUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Also snowflakes. Do you like puzzles? I play a lot of puzzle games on my ipad but I don't do anything that requires me to hold a pen/pencil and I no longer do jigsaw puzzles (no place to put them, all of our tables are covered in other projects like cutting boards for fabric, sewing machines, etc. plus one table to eat at.) I went from a huge house, to sharing a basement, to having one small room, so my stuff is pretty crammed in here. Do you have a strong preference for numbered packages vs randomly picking with maybe a few hints along the way? Nope. Either way is fine. Are you jonesing for any particular BPAL right now? Anything you are just dying to try, even just a sniffie? Beautiful Macabre, Mummies of Mexico City. (for sniffing) How do you feel about the following flavors/ingredients: Coconut? I like coconut chips and toasted coconut, coconut oil for cooking, coconut sugar for baking, but I'm not really a fan of things like mounds or almond joy. Mint? I love mint tea (especially combined with licorice root.) Mint frangoes are sometimes good, but otherwise I'm not a huge fan of mint and chocolate, it has to be something I'm in the mood for. Lavender? I love lavender everything. We made lavender vanilla liqueur this year, as well as cordial for lavender lemonade. Rosewater? Also made rose petal liqueur, rose jam, etc. Nom! Cardamom? Yes. Candied citrus peel/marmalade? My mom received some homemade candied orange peel in a recent ravelry swap and they were SO GOOD. Yes. (not a fan of marmalade though.) Anything to absolutely avoid? flavor wise, I'm just having a hard time thinking of what to absolutely avoid beside things like mincemeat, pecan pie, lutefisk, things with nuts or marshmallows (texture, not flavor), etc. Would you like anything crafted for the storage or transport of the BPAL? (Travel imp containers, boxes for 5mls, bottle cozy, etc.) I use ammo boxes and mint tins for imps and I have tons of boxes (both travel and storage) for bottles, so I'm good there. I wouldn't mind wall display type things for BPAL though! Like nail polish racks or coffin shaped shadow boxes with bpal sized shelves? Someday I am going to order the BPTP wall sconce for bpal bottles. If so, do you prefer them to be plain or decorated? Either or! If decorated, are there any motifs or art that you'd particularly like? I love celtic knots (ravens, dogs, horses, ferrets, just knots), swirly things, nightmare before christmas, bats, corvids, gargoyle/grotesques, skulls/calaveras, eye of horus/ankhs, krampus. More on the darker/gothy side.
