I actually wish I had a bit of spiciness in mine, but instead found only maple syrup sweetness with a hint of headiness to give it some sex appeal. In bottle: maple syrup? DH said it smelled like the stuff hunters spray themselves with to cover up their scent but what the hell does he know. He did say that he thought there was a bit of nuttiness to it, and I'm not sure if that's it, but it's a pretty close description. Wet: Glurg. Insulin shock. Drydown: Much better...less overwhelming sweetness, and more of a bit of muskiness and sophistication to it. This is one fancy-shmancy IHOP. After one hour- it's fading. I only applied one coat, so I'll try two next time.

I absolutely love lavender and mint combos, and will frequently recreate that scent in the bath. It's very reminiscent of Lush's ice hotel, discontinued. The lavender, while usually soothing, is more clarifying when coupled with the pennyroyal. This is perfect for mornings or stressful times. It's herbal and sharp at the same time, with a hint of sweetness.

I agree with the creamsicle description, but it's like melting, dripping creamsicles, warmed by hot bodies on a steamy night. Just damn. I love this one.

I agree with the above reviews...I love this one. The spiciness is amazing. It smells gorgeous on me. However, beware the cinnamon. Please be careful where you put it. I also ended up burning my neck with this one.

I picked this one since I love lavender and citrus combos. In the bottle: First smell was filed with the lotus and lavender, essentially a very strong floral. Wet: The lavender is starting to back down a bit. I can detect a hint of the neroli in the background. Dry: I was thinking after what I experienced with it as being wet that my skin would pick up the lotus more, but the lotus seems to have moved to a background note, and it's picked up a wonderfully juicy neroli scent, combined with a soft and unassuming lavender. It's sweetened up, but the lotus prevents it from being anything less than sophisticated. It's also reminiscent of Lush's therapy massage bar. It's soothing and mellow. While I'm not a huge fan of the initial wet phase, I love the drydown. If it lasts, then I'll be getting a bottle of this one. ETA: after an hour, the lotus, lavender and neroli are all mingling in mellow happiness. It's calming yet uplifting at the same time. The lavender has moved back into the foreground, neroli in the middle, and lotus in the back.

in the bottle; I can smell the sage predominantly, along with a tinge of floral. wet:no more sage, definitely iris, the other notes are causing me to think of a bit of a musky iris, so it's reminding me of violets, strangely. Slightly sweet floral, it's lost the sage aspect on me. I suddenly feel light and pretty and youthful. drydown; It's becoming a bit more musky, that's not the sage, so I'm not sure if it's the orris or civet. Some of the sweetness has gone, causing the scent to mature, in a way. It's blending very well, and while I thought that the first impression was lovely, the drydown is so much better. 1 hour: Scent is the same as drying, but it's faded to the point that I can't smell it unless I sniff my wrist. I reapplied in the hopes to make it stronger, but the same thing happened. I do like this one, and will use up my sample vial. If it gets stronger or if I can apply more and get it to stay, then I'll get a bottle of it, if not, I'll just enjoy my sample.
