    Leisurely Swim

Lichen, pale florals, and citrus. The lichen is ever so slightly the strongest note on me. It's followed closely behind by the a floral note, that doesn't read as osmanthus, more a generic light floral. I occasionally get whiffs of the yuzu and apple, but they stay in the background. There's a touch of resin, but not enough to pick out any of the other notes. This also does not strike me as aquatic, instead a fruity floral with a fair amount of lichen. It's a pretty fresh scent, though is light and sits close to the skin on me.

    Snow Moon: Yuzu and Blackcurrant

The blackcurrant dominates the yuzu on me. But I had a similar experience where the combination of the two makes this soapy, spicy scent that I can't place. I was anticipating tart, but this is beyond that. These two notes don't play nice with each other on my skin, making for an unpleasant head scratcher.

    Madrigal

A plum heavy opium tar through a thin haze of lavender. This is almost a plum and opium tar duo on me. The combination of the two reminds me vaguely of pomegranate. The scent overall is fruity and deep, almost a wine. I cannot pick out the benzoin or the lavender on their own, the former adding to the opium tar and the latter giving the plum a slight herbal tinge. Overall, more a slight floral plum tar, deep but still fruity.

    Galanthus Nivalis, Single Snowdrop

A green and inky scent. The spring greens is by far the strongest note on me and it's a very fresh, vibrant green scent. The next strongest is the ink note. Combined with the green note, smells deep and almost fresh as well. It brings to mind an ink pot spilled beneath big fresh, slightly dewy, full leaves. There's a very light white musk to the scent, providing more of a slight haze than anything else. I don't get snow from this, especially with how fresh and strong the green note is. Also, slight warning, as this scent goes a little soapy on me. But overall, a strikingly vibrant green plant scent, spilled over with black ink.

    Women of Leisure

Pretty much what one would expect from these notes. The honey and coconut milk are the strongest notes on me, combining into a honeyed coconut milk scent that is not quite foodie. I get a fruity, tart ting that I attribute to the currant, though it's not especially berry like. And I can't pick out the amber, but here's a depth to the scent that doesn't come from the other notes. Overall, an elevated honeyed coconut drink scent.

    Poet's Hearts Break So

Fougere is the strongest on me. It is particularly sweet, though I cannot pick out the vanilla on its own. If I concentrate, I can pick out the violet and iris notes, though in general they blend together with the fougere. I cannot pick out the other notes, but I can tell there is a fair amount of musk in the scent. And in combination with the florals it does remind me of porcelain. Overall, a relatively complex scent on me that's centered on the fougere, hints of lavender and something slightly oud like, among other, stronger floral notes and background musks. I get he inspiration, but the strength and depth of the scent brings to mind something more sturdy than broken porcelain

    A Ghostly Encounter

I could have sworn this had lavender in it. The wood notes and the ambergris combine to form an ethereal, foggy note that reminds me of more medicinal lavender. The galbanum sits underneath, giving a resin base that sits close to the skin. Overall, a cozy scent, that feels more light and hazy than warm, herbal and slightly resiny.

    Fig Vulva

Spiced fig. This is mostly a fig scent with a little bit of spice from the patchouli on me. The fig is definitely deep, purple, and slightly towards the foodie side. The added spice reads more as baking spices to me than patchouli. I don't get the other notes, but the fig is noticeably vibrant, in addition to being earthy with the added spice.

    Falling Star

An iris lead floral scent. No surprise that this is a strong floral scent. On me, iris is by far the strongest, with the other floral notes blending together, clearly there, but I cannot pick any of them out on their own. There's what I would describe more as a pale white musk giving the scent a roundness and softening the floral notes. I also get barest touch of citrus. Overall, an iris dominated pale floral scent.

    Courtesans Relaxing

Cozy jasmine. The jasmine is by far the strongest on me. I can pick out the foodie notes, largely the rice milk and coconut, but the others aren't coming through for me. Though this is not an especially foodie scent on me, the rice milk brings a fuzziness to the scent and the coconut adds a sweetness to the jasmine. It brings to mind a cozy sweater, scented with a strong, but sweet jasmine perfume, and just a hint of coconut.

Exhausted Couple in the Treasure Room of Love

A dry, white musk take on a citrus scent. This is a citrus scent more than anything else on me. I get the lemon and yuzu, but not the lychee so much. The white tea note is the next strongest and is bolstered by the white musk. The combination of the two adds an almost atmospheric nature to the scent, that does vaguely remind me of carbonation. It reminds me more of a light, almost icy white tea note though. This does remind me of some of the Lab's other lemon and white tea scents. This one in comparison is more on the citrus side with the addition of yuzu and the combination of notes makes it more light and effervescent. All in all, I don't know if this is that distinct from other similar scents to justify more than a decant. But as a citrus lover and especially a citrus with white tea and/or musk lover, I'm still really enjoying this.

Snow Moon: Apple Liqueur and Brandy

I had a different experience with this scent. It's noticeably more booze than apple on me, though both are clearly present. The brandy note here and nature of the scent remind me of Inebriated Birbs Guzzling Punch While a Scandalized Cat Looks On, though obviously with apple here instead of lemon. The apple note also has a slight spiced quality to it, taking it almost to fall territory. Overall, I'm more reminded of bobbing for apples in booze or a fall drink that was heavy-handed on the brandy.

    Snow Moon: Coconut and Icicles

What it says on the tin, ice and coconut. On me, I get equal amounts of both. The ice is the Lab's usual ice note, what I would describe is silvery and slightly atmospheric. The coconut is on the powdery side, slightly sweet, and almost brings a warmth to the scent. It's not quite a beachy coconut, but it makes the scent almost cozy. Overall, I'd still describe this as a relatively simple scent, heavily iced coconuts.

    Snow Moon 2024

This is almost pure pale ice on me. The ice note here is a little more pale than what I associate with the Lab's usual ice note. I would not describe it as soapy, but it's in that direction. I think it's the mentioned crystalline musk. I get vague hints of the fruit notes, but neither the apple nor citrus come out particularly strong on me. Overall, more of a frostbitten scent, like apples and citrus left in the cold far too long and largely covered by delicate ice.

    Lithe and Lascivious Regret

Deep blackberries. Definitely a berry scent, and is that deep, almost wine fresh scent more than anything else. Blackberry does strongly dominate on me. There is a touch of resin here, but it deepens the berry notes, instead of taking away from their freshness. The other notes add to the blackberry and give it this deep purple quality, though I cannot pick out those notes on their own. Overall, almost a blackberry single note on me, especially deep, purple, and berry fresh.
