Bruised Violet Compound

Recommended Posts

Received as an imp. Sweet violet with some grounded earthy patchouli, the cleanliness of Spanish moss, & fruity with red currant. I need a bottle of this.

I recieved this as a frimp with my last order. Since I work closely with my mother, I tend to ask her opinion on whatever fragrance I'm wearing. She'll have to smell it too. I don't usually get much in the way of feedback beyond, like or dislike, smells clean/soft/like powder. This fragrance, however, made a distinct impression on both of us. Earthy, fruity violet. We both liked it. It really suits me and is a standout in my collection so far. This is worth a bottle.

Smells like floral pee on me. I'm very sad. Ah well. I have no idea what note is causing that. I think it may be the currant note.

i don't know for sure what i'm smelling. i have limited experience with violet, and, quite honestly almost all of the other notes in this blend besides the patchouli. it's green smelling? i think if i had to say i don't really get any of the so-called violet. it's the patch and the moss i think, there's nothing fruity or floral in this blend on my skin. stale green moss and patch? i don't care for it.

i wonder if i got the same oil as everybody else! while i love bruised violet compound it doesnt stick on me as a dark and sultry smell. i smell a bright and wet flower thats earthy not in a dirty way but a refreshing, alive way. on the outskirts of it i still get the wet imp smell which to me is a very sweet purple candy like those fizzy grape soda candies that come in little cans at the arcade. the slight wet greeness is more alike to a stem or leaf than moss and enjoyable even to me who usually doesnt like a green smell. i get no red currant but thats at no detriment to the blend imo. very sweet wet living violets!
