doomsday_disco Report post Posted March 11 Torch-a, torch-a, torch me! Those who cross the threshold of this crackle-crust of burned sugar will be lost in a creamy abyss of bright, zingy custard.
Nagi Mahe Report post Posted April 13 Well this is a beauty! I expected a punchy almost bitter passion fruit, maybe even sinthetic. But what i got was a true passion fruit, sweet but not sugary. (More like an over ripe fruit) With a soft creamy custardy layer. I worried about the 'burned sugar' and if it would come across like caramel or brown sugar. It did not! It's nessled in the background. Peeking round the corner of the passion fruit. This truely is a zingy, bright, creamy fruity treat! Quite a nice throw and wear time too! I'd back up bottle this. galahad Report post Posted April 18 In the Bottle: Tart passionfruit and custard. On the Skin: A delicious, creamy custard which is very sweet and passionfruit which is mouth-wateringly tart. The caramel of the topping comes in a bit later as the passionfruit moves back a little (but not too far). Almost a citrus element to this. Delicious and perfect for a comfort blend without being maudlin.
doomsday_disco Report post Posted 8 hours ago (edited) This doesn't smell like crème brûlée to me, but I'm not mad, because it still smells GLORIOUS. Freshly applied, it reminds me of if you took Vanilla Mandarin and replaced the mandarin with passionfruit and threw in some sugar. Then it morphs. the passionfruit disappears, and for some inexplicable reason, it reminds me of whatever is in the House of Mirrors Atmosphere Spray from Denver Comic Con 2015 that makes it so alluring (wuuuuuuuuuut). And then it morphs again and becomes the most wonderful toasted sugar scent backed by a bit of vanilla. I could not stop huffing my arm. I'm most definitely upgrading my decant to a bottle (or maybe two). Edited 8 hours ago by doomsday_disco
