Cali Report post Posted December 23, 2025 Ooph, heady and very strong a-something akin to a strong white floral/jasmine right from the get-go (though both the rose and champaca are there), and quickly (phew) calms down; honestly just a lovely mix of both; it is the rose with freshly-cut stems/the greeny note in there, not the peacock queen-rose. It's not very ampy at all which is what I was expecting with the champaca, but a lot of this frustratingly dissapears on my skin! Bah!! May be too "soapy-feeling" for some, but to me it's just dusty enough that is dissuades from that. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Poenari Report post Posted July 27 This is such a lovely experimental blend! The notes blend together to make a spicy rose incense. Unlike the previous reviewer, I don't get any soapiness or greenness from the rose, just a lovely dried red rose. Maybe that's because my bottle is a little older, I dunno. The ginger from Vixen is toned way down and the champaca doesn't amp on me the way it usually does. Overall a great experiment and I think it would please many.
