roseus Report post Posted September 22 Ylang ylang is a note I always have difficulty describing, and even here paired with one other note I am still struggling. I feel like it isn't standing out all that much, but embellishing the apple with a heady, creamy sweetness. The apple is soft and sort of musky. Not very tart, nor very sweet. Very pretty! The throw is pretty low after it settles and I think on it's own it would be safe for office wear, and would compliment but not compete with perfume. I do notice hints of the scent a several hours on, close to the skin. Regarding the lotion itself and the packaging: the lotion is thick but melts into the skin easily and absorbs quickly.
