Opium-laced benzoin and sweet myrrh veiled in black amber, violet incense and bruised plum, streaked with star jasmine, white frankincense, and ozone-crackled white musk. Akurarei Report post Posted Tuesday at 09:59 PM Lightning Moon 2025 In the bottle: Gorgeous, dark, oceanic florals! Application: A single drop from the inner lid's rubber 'button' on my wrist, schmooshed wrists together and also rubbed the 'back of the ears' area of the neck using my wrists. On my skin, wet: a burst of the ozone for a moment, then a deep aquatic vibe. After this initial blast I get the night-blooming fragrance of the jasmine and some resin. Beautiful! On my skin, dry: A touch of powder (common for me with ozone notes, it seems), then resin-y plum with a faint whisper of the floral notes - which become less distinctive for me in the dry state. Verdict: Excellent moody dark oceanic floral lunacy, and a safer bet for those who find the ozone note to be rather tricky. (like me! 😜 )
wendyb1063 Report post Posted Wednesday at 11:45 PM This is very, very nice! Like Akurarei, I was a bit nervous about the ozone note (and the star jasmine) but my worries were for naught. This perfume screams (in a pleasant voice) BPAL!!! It reminds me of some of the Blue Moon scents, maybe? At any rate, it is lovely. It had me at the "opium-laced benzoin, ...black amber, violet incense, and bruised plum". A welcome addition to my collection, and I bet it will get even better as it ages.
