Beams of citrus, apricot, raspberry musk, and neroli herald daybreak, illuminating ambergris and myrrh shadows.

Took a chance on this one right away, wanting to expand my ambergris collection, I'm quite pleased with it. These are fresh from the mail impressions.

out of the bottle - ambergris, neroli, and amber clouding over a citrus base; apricot and raspberry musk are not apparent wet. there's a lot more woodiness and bitterness at this stage that quickly evolves out once applied.

wet on me - raspberry musk starts to come up on me right away, ambergris and neroli fall back and decrease their bitterness, the amber mellows out, citrus backs down too

dry on me - i'm glad the myrrh is keeping to the shadows, it's listed last in the notes so I was counting on it being a background note and it does seem to want to stay there. this smells like being in the shade of a citrus orchard with warm woody notes and reserved fruity notes, lightly illuminated. apricot remains elusive on me, I mostly get the raspberry musk and the orange/citrus; the overall impression is very bright and peaceful, yet complex.

The neroli is STRONG at first but that's just for a short while, it's a bit sharp and raspy.  After that it smooths out and becomes more like the orange sunset scent I was hoping for.  I think with some aging the neroli might calm down even more, my bottle is brand new.  Like the reviewer before me, I don't get a lot of myrrh, and that's good because I tend to amp it more often than not.
