wendyb1063 Report post Posted March 17 This scent called to me, as I love its notes (although I wasn't entirely sure what "guava cream" was). A fruit-i-ental. On my skin, it is gorgeous: sweet, warm, sensuous, and inviting. The guava is indeed "cream": any acidity has been smoothly covered, but there is something fruity in there. It reminds me of a high-end perfume from the 90s... maybe the original Tuscany per Donna? Tresor? It's not a shy scent: this is a beautiful woman, inside and out, maybe not a young one, but a kind woman who has confidence and exudes happiness. She is delightful to be around, and even though you secretly wish you could BE her, you still love her.
Little Bird Report post Posted April 15 Great Pleasures starts off smelling like fruit punch with a lot of orange in it (fruitiness that I don't recognize as guava), then goes through a phase of almond milk that smells creamy and soft with a drop of cherry-ish almond extract, then dries down to a light, almond scented lotion type of feel. Gentle, creamy, and clean. I think the sandalwood adds a bit of powder after a while, but I never really smell guava, amber, or incense.
kelpsoda Report post Posted April 17 (edited) Lovely fruit scented when wet. But I grow guavas, and this doesn't strike me as guava. I get almond milk when drying! yum. after a while it's just a faint fruity incense / red musk smell. I would liken it to Impeach. Same vibe. KuriousKat Report post Posted April 17 Clean floral opening, bit of mild incense a few minutes in, leading to creamy tart-sweet fruit. Overall it's fruity, not exactly guava, slightly floral, with a bit of incense flitting in and out.
KarenWalker Report post Posted July 17 Bottle and Wet: red fruit punch with sherbet Drying: guava cream? I think? I’m reading it as slightly orange because of how much I love POG juice. Light sandalwood as well. Later: It settles into a nice creamy (but not milky) juicy fruity drink. The amber just adds a touch of grounding to make this not especially sweet. A successful blind bottle buy for summer.
carrioncupid Report post Posted July 27 (edited) (goblin sniff ie. fresh from the mail) GUAVA!!!!!! yes! lovely delicious guava. oh man, it reminds me of the guava drink that used to be on tap in the mess hall when i was spending my summer at university (summer extracurricular) right now i get nothing BUT the guava and it makes my little heart happy. i was worried that the incense + sandalwood combo would turn into straight up sandalwood incense (my mother loves to light them in our home with no ventilation like she's smoking out a beehive or something) but this is just straight up delicious juicy guava. i applied this at the same time i was testing out their crow moon fig and sandalwood hand cream, and i kept getting whiffs of something delicious, wondering what it was. i kept smelling my hand but all i got was the faint scent of vague fig until i realized it was my perfume! aghh, i didn't want to love this as much as i do, i'm on such a tight time frame to get an FS before it vanishes into the ether now.. i bought an FS direct from the lab (even though i also have just before penetration on the way too and they're very similar but shushhhhh) Edited Tuesday at 04:11 AM by carrioncupid
