Poenari Report post Posted September 26 (edited) I ordered a goblin squirt of this and a few other hair glosses to try, with my Dragon Con order. I can't place it, but oh wow something in this has triggered an old scent memory. I can't recall when or where, but I hope it eventually surfaces, because it's definitely a good memory! I love this and can't stop sniffing my arm where I tested it! After looking up pomace brandy, I see that it is the liqour made from the leftover grape remains after wine is made from them. Perhaps my memory is reaching all the way back to my time spent in Spain in 1973, or my trip to Romania in 2005. Each of those trips involved a lot of wine and brandy, although Romania involved plum brandy rather than pomace brandy. Either way, the woody bark and moss notes are all muddled into this brandy and turn into a gorgeous scent. Need to upgrade this one to a full bottle for sure! I will probably also wear it as a body spray because I love it so much! Edited to add that this might wear on the masculine side for some folks, as I get a kind of cologne note in the mix.
