Received this as a decant. Smells beautiful. Something grassy/herbal going on with it that I enjoy. Slight soap, powder, but I get the orange blossoms mostly. I wish I could get that labdanum smell more. Anywho, it's a winner!

It smells faintly like "An Excerpt from Speculum Heroicum Principis Omnium Temporum Poëtarum Homeri". Has to be the cedar & oud recreating that scent. Has a powdery, woodsy finish. Something strong & masculine stands out, can't place the note. Oh wow, I get a little man musk from this, smells like a sexy armpit. Haha! Ooh la la

Wow, smells so darn good! I smell every note it seems. Woody musk, masculine, spiced just right, a little powdery. Great throw too! A must have for the BPAL collector.

This really is an explosion of peonies. I want to like it, but it's too floral for me. It's not bad, it's simply too strong for me. Smells like one of those plug-in air fresheners. Kind of tropical to me, so if you like that it will be perfect for you. Planning to swap this one.

*whoops wrong post

Too much going on with this one for me. I wore it & it smelled like plastic, with orange blossom & mandarin. I know that the saffron & bergamot are the contributors to this one not getting along with my nose or body chemistry. Guess this one is not for me.

Interesting scent. I can smell the black pine, hinoki wood, & juniper all creating this kind of damp forest layer. Fading out, the beeswax, tolu balsam & muguet blend, come up front. I like wearing this one because I can identify/smell every note this contains.

This one is divine! Smells exactly like this LE body wash I used to buy a lot of. Flowery, warm, blushed. That rose sandalwood is something I've never encountered before, but I can tell that is a major note singing in this wonderful scent. The red oud & sweet vetiver is heavenly too!

I knew there had to be something creamy in it. I tend to forget the notes after ordering. Anyways, this is such a beautiful scent. It's grounded, somewhat flowery, & the mallow + vanilla cream is so complementary to the blue lotus & lotus root. My wife loves it, & i plan to let her have it.

Oh goodness, this one is amazing. I crave the smell. I could swear patchouli was in it, but I don't see it listed. Perhaps it is the vegetal musk giving that lovely, earthy smell. & it mixes so well with the myrrh & opoponax. This scent is rich, warm, comforting, masculine, & has an incense smell to it.

In the bottle I smell the florals, & a mellow green to it. Applied, the florals really open up. I first smell hydrangea, followed by African daisy, then the peony. Stays floral on me, with a note of sandalwood floating around.
-
At first in the bottle it makes me recoil. Too strong, BUT when I applied a drop to my son's wrist we ended up loving the scent! Truly gingerbread, not getting any other notes. However, my nose isn't as trained as others to detect subtle notes. lol It is exciting tho to read the description. I'm surprised to see lilac, lime, & citrus musk notes. Will start wearing this around next winter.

A sweet smelling floral cologne. Almost smells like a nice masala incense stick. Also smells clean as it fades.

This is such a comforting floral. It brings back faint memories of being a child, running around in the backyard, smelling flowers. It also has a scent like the conditioner you get in a package of hair bleach. I love the black orchid note playing so well with the jasmine, green tea, & the champaca. I should have ordered 2!

In the bottle, & first application I get Orris. I don't like it. But as the Orris fades out, the other notes fully blossom, especially the Patchouli. It's also so gentle & has great throw. When I apply it with another, I can still smell this blend individually floating gently. A very interesting scent.

Yep, smells like church incense to me. The duo frankincense & myrrh, but I wonder what else is in this bottle. Copal, perhaps? I hope this 2020 bottle will strengthen in scent over time. Doesn't have much throw for me.

Smells like a different kind of lavender, maybe French Lavender, with some kind of Chamomile possibly. Works well at helping me relax.

A nice, chewy red rose with wine. I can't get enough. So sanguine & luxurious. lol

This scent takes me & my wife way back when we first got together. I don't recall how I obtained it, but I had a small black bottle of Donna Karan perfume. She put it on all the time. & Event Horizon smells just like it. I love it so much.

This one is a beautiful floral male scent on me. Blew my hair back, & made me have a Fabio moment when I smelt it. That's how masculine I felt. Ha! They all sing together so nicely. Wish I had bought 2 bottles.
-
Smells strong, but I love it. Can't pick up too many notes, but I do smell the grape vine & forest. Going to be a great male scent for me.

This smells so light, & airy. Doesn't seem to last long on me. but that's okay, because I love putting it on! Smells exactly like the description, but also smells a bit like frankincense & bee's wax.

Hope it's okay to comment again on this. The Madam is aging beautifully. Smelling more powdery & a hint of Earthy roses, nice & mellow. Wasn't worn much before, but I love it now!

Nice sweet plum, dark berries, & orange blossom. Benzoin & Bergamot give it an interesting twist. It's a sultry scent. The myrrh comes out last which makes it sort of light faded incense on me. I see dark nights & city lights when I smell this.

Dry, dirty in a good way, smells leafy, barely a hint of floral. As it dries the floral does come out a bit more. Nothing too notable for me about this one, doesn't stay around long either. However, I do layer it with Fenris Wolf often, & enjoy it that way.
