I love this! So glad I snagged it. It is very vanilla beeswax until it dries down. I can’t smell clove until it’s dried down, and even then you have to look for it. I would love to add SN Clove to it. Now to find some...

I didn't get much patchouli on this one, and it was a rather sweet, extra honeyed beeswax that dominates. I think this would be very sensual on someone else! edit* I decided to try this again, and can smell the patchouli more now. The patchouli gives this a slight woodsy note. Somehow less “warm” than Light of Men’s Lives still and I assume that LoML has amber. Super pretty soft, with aging the honey is less sharp, and almost a smokey warmth.

This is so yummy! This reminds me of Dorian, but a more sultry snake oil version. I should have bought a bottle!

All kinds of masculine! It smells lovely on my husband, but I have not been brave enough to put it on yet. On him, dirty dark patchouli.

So many accurate descriptions for this. The myrrh warms this blend up, and the florals in this are beautiful. In the bottle, this is pure magic. Unfortunately, it turns pretty powdery on my skin. I have tried it a few times since the summer, but alas, not good on me. I want to love this so badly. The label artwork is super gorgeous too! I will be selling this, but do appreciate its beauty.

Very heavy patchouli, and lots of honey. The blend seems to be just perfect, and one doesn't really overpower the other. Honey tends to go sharp on me, but this has not and I am pleasantly surprised. Thank you, skin chemistry! I did not expect this to work for me, and I love it. Perfect fall fragrance and great staying power. 2020 update: Well this has aged beautifully. the patchouli and honey have swirled together and have a very smooth and comforting feel, almost creamy vibe.

I haven't worn this yet, but in the bottle smells like fizzy lemon candy. Is it a ZOT?! Will update when I actually try it on my skin.

Soft, beautiful, ethereal, and just oh so pretty! This has very similar vanilla to the one in AL, but with soft florals and amber. It is barely there and at the same time has great wear. I LOVE this!!!

Do I smell cinnamon? Allspice? In the bottle, it is all tart and fruity, and then on my skin I can't smell anything but cranberry and spice. I will have to try this again on my clothes tomorrow and see what happens. As of now, it smells close to a christmas decorative wreath on my skin. Update as of 2020: I have jumped in head first to a bunch of fruit scents, so I thought I'd try this again, over 2 years aged. I still smell the smallest bit of warm spice, but there is a sparkly, tart finish to the fruit in this, maybe even a smidge of amber? Time has really done this one well... it is gorgeous and no longer like a holiday wreath! I am glad I was patient with this as it will be so great at the holiday season. Thinking about layering this with my cherry and fig imp for a tart party!

VERY PINK! The first thing that comes to mind. In the bottle, it's very light and pretty, vanilla and pink roses. It has a very surprising wear time, and really grew on me the more time it was on my skin. The vanilla comes more to the foreground with time. I also don't feel like the vanilla is at all foody. Fluffy, pink, lovely snowballs.

I bought this for my best friend, who adores eggnog and all of the drinks that are similar - like milk punch tiki drinks and hot toddies. I haven't tried it on my skin, since it is not my thing, but it smells exactly like eggnog with an extra spike of brandy!

A big, beautiful, freshly cut rose. I feel like this smelled a lot like The Rose, but when I wore both to compare, this was more balanced but still very green. This almost smells more like a rose than even a rose?! Hahah. ROSE, straight up! This is the most accurate and perfect rose fragrance I have ever come across.

This is very frosty cologne smell to me, and don't get much vanilla or lemon, rather a good amount of lavender. I love how long the wear is. Not the best throw, which is why I have started wearing this before bed. It's very pretty and barely masculine. I think this will get better over time and really adore this.

Exactly as described! I love this and wish I had the hair gloss too, since I keep putting this in my hair so I can huff it all day. It is one of my favorite scents, hands down, and is going to be a staple if I can continue to keep on top of the releases! Almost halfway through, and I bought it in June! LOVE it. 2020 update: This IS a gateway patchouli scent. It is really similar to Revenant Rhythm, but sweeter with an almost lemon candy/spun sugar, not burnt sugar. I still adore this as much as I did three years ago.

All wine in the front, not too sweet, but still berry and jammy. The ash comes out as soon as it dries, but I do not smell the vanilla bourbon. Maybe just the tiniest bit in the background. Surprisingly beautiful and perfectly encapsulates the feeling of an indian summer and moody pre-eclipse anticipation. So happy to have a full bottle of this. I have never smelled anything like it! -
I haven't smelled the original Dorian, so I cannot compare the two. This is a beautiful, calming scent, definitely.. lavender and possibly sweet tea and vanilla. I don't smell coconut, but I do smell something fruity in the background. LOVELY! I can't wait to smell the original to compare the two. I am not the biggest fan of lavender on my skin, but I think I will have this in my hair often.

Death Adder is one of my new favorites. The description is dead on! A perfect blend of snake oil and for me, balanced by the vetiver. I love the throw and the wear. This is a comforting and autumnal scent to me. YUM!

I am so surprised by this! I came about The Grave-Pig out of curiosity and searching through the directory for fig scents. I have a fig tree in my neighborhood, and love figs and the smell of fig leaves. A little hesitant to go with a fruity scent, but was hoping the patchouli and earthy notes would tie it together and round it out. SCORE! I ordered and imp, and will be getting a bottle for sure. In the imp- patchouli, as expected, and a little woodsy - oakmoss? and a lot less sweet than I expected Wet- earthy, sweet and figgy, and I did not smell much else. Dry- FANTASTIC on my skin. I feel like I could add more patchouli forward scents and make this extra chewy and earthy, as it is a little sweet for me initially. I keep going back to smell myself and the imp. It changes so much and really rounds out with the little bit of mushroom and making such a beautiful transition. This makes me feel like a little forest faery. YUM. UPDATE: Bought a full bottle, and it smells like dr. pepper. I haven't tried it on my skin yet

Oak leaf, bourbon vanilla, almond husk, and black leather accord darkened by a 13-year aged black patchouli. All almond up front, but ends up smelling leathery and yummy after it dries down. I am going to try this again with one of my more patchouli forward scents to see what happens!

Lydia is EVERYTHING!!! I cannot even begin to explain how much I love this. UGH, SO good! I had a co-worker say I smelled like an old library. The patchouli is why I went for this, but the opium and labdanum are so captivating and come to the foreground as it dries. I have had this for a month, and it seems to keep getting sweeter? Great wear. This was my absolute favorite of the 5 I purchased from this collaboration (Silky Bat, Belonging to the Darkness, Lorraine Cross, Owl Moon, and Lydia). I should probably buy another bottle...

So much patchouli! At first, I was intimidated and thought "no way can I pull this off". I actually mixed this with Silky Bat, and it is more tame to me after adding the carmelized sugar. I may need to work up to wearing this alone. The patch in this is as earthy and gnarly as it gets, so if you like patchouli, this one is for you. The floral notes in here don't smell like jasmine, but more like tuberose. Definitely for you if you're a patchouli lover!

St. Louis No.1 for the win! Somewhat masculine, with the tobacco but not so much that it dominates. It is such a beautiful and haunting blend, and makes me feel nostalgic. The perfect blend of sweet and earthy.

This is very pretty. I am definitely getting the aquatic property someone mentioned earlier. There is not one specific floral note that I can pick out, but it starts out as a very fresh bouquet. Very feminine to me, as I usually wear patchouli forward fragrances these days. My sister said "it smells expensive" after smelling it in the vial. It settles on the skin very quickly, and then the moss comes forward. There is an earthiness in here that makes it wearable for me, but more like a spring or summer scent. Maybe I will try mixing this with something else to bring it more to the macabre side. This may sound strange, but it is almost too "cheerful" for me. I won't be buying a bottle, but I would reccomend this to anyone that likes florals.
