Was able to snatch a bottle of resurrected, and it's always a scent that intrigued me, though i never thought i'd actually ever find a bottle of it. That said, just like the other review i just did, this bottle just got in, and i can tell it needs some settling. And if that means that this may get a bit stronger, o LORDY does that make me a happy girl!!! Honestly, i haven't sniffed or tried snake oil in years (and mean to in the future), but this is what i had hoped from that. It's complex in it's notes and they all blend together harmoneously. It's sweet, spicy, sticky... sexy... A keeper!

I was SO curious about this one when i learned it excisted, and went for it, and it's surprisingly lovely. In the bottle it's quite unpleasant, a strong chocolate and seaweed and something dusty. On the skin, it's a soft aquatic, i swear i'm getting a lush rose, and a creamy chocolate. It's almost edible-ish (I mean, besides there being a chocolate note) and i see incense being mentioned above.. I think i'm getting that too, kinda of nag champa-y. It definately doesn't sound romantic but boy is this lovely. I JUST got this in though, so i'm testing knowing this'll need a few days to settle, I think this along with the other bottles i got in need some time, but i was just so curious. Will come back to this if anything changes, but so far, so good!

I concur with biggnerd above me; a dry, soapy rose and something slightly herby. Nice, but wayyy too light for my taste.

I'm getting fresh, juicy chunky coconut pieces??? I don't know how old this imp is, but i don't get much leather - maybe just the slightest suggestion. Otherwise this really is just coconut on me...

Complex, sultry, soft. I'm not getting foody even though the chocolate is definately there. I find this one hard to describe, though the notes work beautifully together. It's got a dark, lush quality to it.

Aha! It's the lab's soapy snow-note. Not a bad thing though, in my opinion. On my skin it directly starts morphing to something more greenish blue, still soapy. It's lovely, though not very strong, and unfortunately something in this is giving me a slight headache Too bad, because though it's very pretty!

A fiery, fresh love, perfectly fitting fae-like creatures. Very pretty, though I must admit there's something that reminds me a liiittle bit of ...cat pee? But that may just be me. I know this comes off of a floral note, i'm just not sure which one. It's not too distracting either. But! This is lovely, a beautiful ethereal pinky bouquet scent - I agree with the comparison to cottonmouth above me here. Put this on, and i swear, enjoyed it very much for about half an hour, and all of a sudden - completely gone! Huh?!

Oooh, i left this alone for a little while, to let it settle for a bit and it was worth it! It's a dusty white floral that's to me in the same ballpark as Lucille Sharpe. It's not neccesarily similar, but there's something equal that has this darkness to it yet a sweet light feel, and an "antiquated" feel. I guess that's it. It's complex and sexy. The rose on me is powdery and strong, there's a herby quality to it with the chamomile. The label art is adorable and screams 20's/flapper chic, and i can imagine this is a perfume that a lady from that time would wear. There's actually something in here that reminds me of the lab's champagne note, which gives it a prickly/bubbly feel, fitting that imagery. It's a rosegold coloured scent. Lovely!!

Very strong jasmine, but definately getting the setting this is going for. The rest of the notes compliment it nicely with a blue tinge. The jasmine amps on me as usual though, so it feels more like a single note on my skin, but it is very pretty.

Squiiiishy, thick purpley goodness!! To me it's plummy, maybe even figgy? But man how beautiful. Not super picking up the wine, and only slightly getting the thyme, which i think makes it slightly more sappy. Gonna need a bottle!

Oh man, it is absolutely gorgeous. A strange thing happens on my skin; it stays close to the scent in the bottle, with strong swirls of foggy tangerine and raspberry, and the amber compliments it beautifully, and kind of grounds the scent, gives it this golden and sparkly silver atmosphere. But, my skin also makes the amber a bit dusty, maybe i need to use the word stuffy here. Don't get me wrong, it's not bad at all, but it's the weirdest thing, it brings me right back to a very specific workplace from ages ago. I can promise you that place did not smell that good, but every time i take a heave i'm transported back. Bah. If it wasn't for this it would be hoard-worthy!!

Ohhhhh from the decant, this smells like blue lollipops and slightly soapy, and I LOVE it. On my skin at first, i still get that impression - until it dries down more, then it morphs quite a bit to reveal all the notes listed. I'm guessing there's a golden amber in there for the sunlight, that kinda hugs a spicy pumpkin pie with berry-filling. The honey glistens over it as if it's a thick glob of golden loveliness! I understand the candle comparison.

Not what i was expecting, but still very nice. A soft, sweet incense and very faint currenty (realistic) cakes. The incense is definately the type to be used for churchly and belief-manners, not a loud, but very "respectful" scent. The foodsyness unfortunately gets eaten on my skin and i'm left with butter-clumps in that department, while the incense gets even more toned down too. Will work much better on someone else's skin. Whyyyyy 😭

A heady, sweet tarty pumpkin dessert or diner. A zing of orange, maple syrup and pulpy sugared pumpkin are the strongest notes for me. I'm not used to maple syrup and it's making me feel a little ill here - though if you're a fan this is TOTALLY for you. It's not unpleasant, personally just a little too heavy on that. That said, there's a nice undercurrent of spices (CINNAMON!!). It's not loud or in your face, but a yummy waft of pumpkiny goodness!

I may be mistaken and mixing it up with another smelly thing, but it weirdly, vaguely reminds me of the other miss spink from what I remember of that. To me this is is kind of a dusty, strong light orange floral - kind of an old lady's perfume? The other miss spink, but less strong and cloying. ..In the imp it's fresher and juicier; a far greener floral scent reminiscent of strolling along in one of those indoor buildings meant to mimic the climate of a rainforest from a zoo. Weird, but enjoyable. ...My skin just turns it upside down. That said, now that it's dry i am smelling the snake oil if i get really close. I really, REALLY want to like this, but i'm afraid i just don't... It gets a liiiitttle better after wearing it for a little while, it goes slightly more dark towards blood-orange and a little spicier; i'm starting to believe snake oil may be able to hear my thoughts, but it's unfortunately not enough to save it for me. Too bad, but awesome to finally give it a try!

Ohhh really nice. Indeed fresh lemony laundry and green tea. In the imp i get all the notes clearly, but on my skin the honeysuckle takes a backseat (usually amps on me, so interesting...) and it gets and even more "clean cotton" feel to it. It kinda stays there as it's dried up, it's a little more soapy than at the start. Still very nice!

The sweetest bakery you've ever been to. Maybe a bakery in some kind of alternate universe, or a scent you'd find in a bakery-themed theme park portion. It goes all kindsa weird on my skin and i wish i knew why. I wish i could love this.

Oh, delicious! Spicy cherry candy indeed! Hard candy at that. On drydown the candy-ness of this goes away and i'm left with a lovely clove and dragon's blood. Very nice, but i loved that wet stage!

Maybe i'm losing it, but this feels a bit like a watered down morocco to me. That, but add red musk. It's very nice, but this is no where near strong enough on my skin unfortunately for my taste...

Oh man this is so much sweeter than what i expected, going off from the name alone! It's pretty sharp and strong when wet, able to pick out all the notes no biggie. I'm only vaguely getting the metallic note that others are describing so far. It's a squishy soft blend of creamy white spicy clouds, grounded by sappy wood. However on drydown it goed a liiiittle darker and then my skin eats the sweeter notes, aw. Still nice- the wood, bay rum and spicyness are now very soft but still there. Lovely!

What the heck! I could've sworn I left a review on this back in 2015/16 but I must've dreamt it. I distinctly remember this perfume and I quite liked it; clean (just shaved!), well taken care of man who uses maybe just a little too much soap(!!), and may or may not be concealing a gun. ...Or is that the metal on the walking cane you're smelling?

In the bottle this is straight up sharp clove, gets more depth on the skin. The sugar, although not in the foreground, grounds this. And the plum/sassafras give this a wild, feral edge.

I'm not sure why my skin is doing this to me, but i'm getting laundry detergent. Gotta wash this off!! 😭

Ugh I HATE this in the bottle, it's a horribly strong sticky note of wine and amber, yuck! Thank goodness it morphs on my skin to something velvety vetiver, cassis beries, and fruity floral undertones. Still don't love it, but i have to admit that it has some sort of cornucopia-esque quality.

I was surprised to learn i like this; it's dark, evil and in your face, but it's got a sweetness from the tonka and geranium that I don't remember smelling before from the lab. It's lightly dirt-y and has a bit of a straight up alcohol-y alcohol note. Just interesting enough not to run away from!
