    Cottonmouth

Snake Oil with linden blossom, calla lily, passion flower, and narcissus. 2016 version In the Bottle: A really nice floral scent. Wet: The mix of florals in this is really pretty. I don't smell any snake oil, but I like the floral scent. Dry: The snake oil has made its appearance, though it’s a very pale appearance. The florals are still very dominant. I feel like I'm in a meadow full of these wonderful flowers. This has some really good staying power on me as well. I like this one because these florals seem to work for me. I do hope that the snake oil will come out more with age.

    Coral Snake (2016)

2016 version In the Bottle: Apple and florals. Wet: I'm really getting the apple out of this. Then the florals. Dry: The florals have come out much more and the apple has fallen behind. I'm getting a little blood orange mixed in in the background, but no snake oil or lemon at all. Its also quite sweet right now. I was lucky enough to get to try an aged version so I know this has the potential to age wonderfully and I can't wait.

    Boomslang

2016 version In the Bottle: Snake Oil and cocoa. Wet: Yep smells snake oil and cocoa. The cocoa is wonderful with the snake oil. Dry: I'm unsure of what rice milk smells like, but I know I smell the teakwood now with the snake oil and cocoa. I am liking this blend very much. Its a wonderfully spiced cocoa scent with a little added woodsy-ness to it. I may need a full bottle. We shall see.

    Green Tree Viper

2016 version In the Bottle: Snake Oil and Green Tea Wet: Very similar to in the bottle, snake oil and the green tea but with an added hint of mint thrown in there. Dry: This is a very "Green" scent. Its mostly all just green tea now with hints of snake oil and mint. It has a smell of Springtime to me. I like this as is, but would like to see the snake oil and mint come out more with age.

    Asp Viper (2016)

In the Bottle: King mandarin and almond. Wet: I get King mandarin and almond with a slight hint of Snake Oil. Dry: This is all just King mandarin and almond on me. Its like having them both as a single note layered together. I will let this age and try again. Its not bad, but not quite my thing either.

    Saw-Scaled Viper

2016 Version In The Bottle: Snake Oil and cinnamon. So soft and warm. Wet: I can smell everything, the Snake Oil, cinnamon, cassia, and red ginger. Its so soft and warm. The spices don’t overpower the Snake Oil and it all seems to be pretty well blended together. Its like all these notes were meant to be together! (It reminds me of something, but I can't thing of it.) Dry: This stays the same on me through both stages. And OMG! I am in love with this scent. I love everything about this. A wonderful, soft, warmly spiced Snake Oil. I will definitely be getting more of this, much more! I can't wait to see how it ages!!!

    The Dream

In the bottle: This is a beautiful lavender! Wet: The lavender is strong, but the other notes are right behind it. Though they are really well blended and I can't pick them out individually. Dry: This is so beautiful. And beautifully blended. Lavender still reigns, but this is oh so sexy. I love it. I don't even know how to quite describe this. All I can really say is that these notes really compliment each other and especially compliment the lavender. Love it!

On the Porch in the Rain

In the bottle: Very aquatic. (It reminds me of how I find the sweet snow note to smell.) Also smelling the bamboo in the back. Wet: Aquatic and slightly floral. The bamboo still in the back like I was getting from the bottle... I only wish rain could smell like this where I am at. It's a very lovely scent. Dry: It doesn't do much for morphing. If anything it just smells a little more green, if you get my meaning. I love this. I really seem to like aquatic scents and I am so glad I got this one. It's so fresh and spring-like. A great scent for wearing in the Spring time. I will be using this one a lot.

Dark Chocolate, Black Tobacco, and Vetiver

In the bottle: Smokey dark chocolate. I can definitely tell it has black tobacco. Wet: This dark chocolate is beautiful. It's not foody at all and the black tobacco really adds a nice smokiness to it. I'm not picking up on the Vetiver though. Dry: The black tobacco totally takes over and steals the show. The dark chocolate is faintly there in the back along with a hint of Vetiver... A little later it is only black tobacco. Verdict: I like this. Again, as with the other dark chocolate bonbon I got the chocolate doesn't last. I'm really hoping that will change with aging because the wet phase is truly wonderful. Luckily for me I like the black tobacco and am glad I got this as it is still a nice scent, even without the chocolate. Maybe I can find something to layer it with and add some smokiness to another scent. Ooo the possibilities.
  10. In the bottle: To me this is a sweet scent. I get the dark chocolate, but it's sweetened by the vanilla it seems. I am also picking up the Champaca. Wet: This is definitely really sweet and floral on me. The dark chocolate is just a background note, barely there. I am getting a slight hint of the Vetiver. Dry: The dark chocolate has completely gone as did the Vetiver. This is now just champaca and vanilla. Overall I like this scent. But it was not at all what I expected. I was hoping for more dark chocolate and Vetiver for a nice sweet/smokey chocolaty scent. But maybe it will come out with aging.

    The Bride

In the bottle: I am getting vanilla and magnolia. Wet: Wow, this is very well blended on my skin and at the same time I can smell each individual note as well. I have not tried magnolia before this, so I didn’t know what to expect with it. But this is a rather pretty scent so far. A little on the perfume-y side, but its not too perfume-y. If that makes sense. Dry: The magnolia comes out on top more as it dries. I can still smell the other notes, but they are all in the background now. It seems I like magnolia and it works with my skin. At least in this scent. (And my hubby actually likes this one.) I'm glad I was able to try it and I will be seriously considering a bottle.

    Love's Philosophy

2016 Version In the bottle: Wow! This comes off rather strong. Its pretty bad really. Not even sure what I'm smelling. Wet: Hmm, not entirely sure. I'm getting a little vanilla, cream, and saffron. I do understand how some would think of root beer. But to me its not quite there. Though it does seem to have a familiarity to it. Dry: The dry down is much better. I get a much creamier vanilla and saffron than in the wet stage. It turns out much better than how the bottle smelled to me. I'm glad to have been able to try it. Though I'm not sure if I'll get a bottle or not.( My hubby doesn't seem to like this one.)

    Rendezvous at the Bath

In the bottle: This smells like a minted cucumber. Wet: I'm getting exactly what is noted. Minted green tea and cucumber. Dry: The mint is very light and the green tea and cucumber are more prominent. The cucumber is actually a little stronger than the green tea. It has a soap-like quality to it though. It reminds me of a cucumber soap I've had before from Bath and Body Works. I feel it is a very nice fresh spring like scent, but just not quite my thing.

The Trappings of the Tea House

In the bottle: … Lots of pink pepper. Wet: This is a very strong pink pepper scent. I'm not getting the sandalwood or vanilla and I'm not too familiar with osmanthus or ti leaf, so not sure about those. Dry: This is still very pink pepper on me. It seems to have only toned down just slightly, but has a little something else to it. It has to be either the ti leaf or osmanthus, or both. But I'm still not getting any vanilla or sandalwood. I actually really like this one though. It reminds me of something, but I cant figure it out.

    Womb Furie

Version 2014 In the bottle: Yep, Snake Oil and Honey Wet: Snake Oil and Honey is a very nice combination. Sweetened, but still the snake oil we all love. Dry: I really like the honey added to the Snake Oil. I think they compliment each other well. It sweetens the scent and its just wonderful.

To His Mistress Going to Bed

In the bottle: Caramelized patchouli for sure and fig. Wet: The patchouli is the prominent note. I also get the fig and possibly the benzoin. Dry: This is now a very smoky patchouli and fig. I normally tend to like smoky scents, but this one just doesn't seem to be for me. Don't get me wrong, this one is good, but not one I would choose very often.

    Gingerbread Snake

In the bottle: Smells just as described. Wet: The gingerbread starts off strong with the vanilla and Snake oil right behind it. It's amazing! The Snake Oil starts coming out more as it dries and the vanilla lessens. Dry: Gingerbread and Snake Oil blended together so perfectly with a touch of vanilla in the background, just barely there. Oh my goodness this is so good.

    El Dia de los Reyes

2013 version In the bottle: Coffee, cinnamon, brown sugar, cocoa. I smell it all. Wet: The coffee is by far the strongest note here. But I also smell the rest of the notes as well. Dry: The coffee tones down just a little and allows the hot cocoa to come out a little more. I can also smell the cinnamon more now as well. The brown sugar is still there, but more it the back. I like this much more than anticipated. I don't normally like the smell of coffee, but this scent really works for me.

    Like Brooms of Steel

In the bottle: Really getting a Vicks Vapor Rub vibe. Wet: This is strong Vicks and a hint of apple in the background. Dry: Hmm, no change. I was hoping for a little more apple out of this. But its just sitting there, faintly in the back. But I like the menthol vapor rub smell, so this is still good.

    Chocolate Stout Cupcake

In the bottle: Dark Chocolate Frosting! Wet: I'm getting a rich chocolatey cupcake batter. Dry: The dark chocolate frosting has come out and this smells of these wonderful blackout cupcakes I've been eating. Rich moist chocolate cupcake drowned in a dark chocolate frosting!
  21. Nyx_DevineNight

    Almond Blossom

In the bottle: Almond and snow. Wet: This definitely smells like almond and snow but with the almond being stronger. This almond smells like almond extract. Dry: So now the snow has taken over and the almond becomes the background smell. Basically the almond and snow have just switched places between wet and dry. I'm glad though, the almond was a little too strong for my liking. But now that it is not the prominent note its much better.

    Gáttaþefur

In the bottle: This smells very food-y. I am getting the baked bread and the butter. Wet: Baked bread and lots of butter and a hint of apricot. Dry: This does not do any morphing on me. So its that same baked bread and butter with some apricot. Its an ok scent and it is super food-y. But not really how I would like to smell. Would be a great room scent though.

    Père Noël

In the bottle: Oranges, tangerines and lavender. This will be interesting. Wet: Wow! Can you say oranges and tangerines? They are strong at first. Then you start smelling the anise, and the lavender comes in behind. This is interesting, but in a good way. Dry: The anise has now come out to dominate the scent with the lavender still close behind. But the oranges and tangerines are now barely there. I surprisingly like this. I was really unsure about it because of the note mixture and I'm not fond of orange. But this turned out really nice... A while later it is all anise. But I don't mind. I happen to be fond of that scent. I'm just not sure if I want to smell like it.
  24. In the bottle: Rich chocolate with a little spice. Almost reminding me of Mexican Hot Chocolate. Almost. Wet: Started out a really rich chocolate and spice. But the annatto seed has quickly come to claim the show. Dry: Well, unfortunately this is all annatto seed on me. Not really my thing. I was really hoping for more chocolate and cinnamon, but this had other plans for me. I liked the first initial smell from the bottle though...

    Lick It Now

In the bottle: Sweet, sweet peppermint! Wet: So much pepperminty goodness. This is the middle of a delicious York peppermint patty! Dry: Still so much peppermint. But the sugar has come out so much more now. It's the sweetest peppermint ever, lol. This is so wonderful.
