    Snow-Flakes

Wow, this DOES smell exactly like Snow White. And it seems to get even stronger as it dries down. I don't smell any mint at all, but there's a cool tinge in my nose after I sniff my wrist, so it's supremely blended. Like Snow White, this is a warm scent that manages to evoke the cold. Excellent, and I'm so glad I have a replacement for Snow White that I can get for half the price!

    Mag Mell

This is a very citrussy scent that remindes me a bit of Tarot: The Star. The ginger is very warm and rich while the fresh grass keeps everything light and sweet. What an interesting, contraidctory scent! I quite like it, it has a very "golden" feel. The notes sound like they shouldn't go together, but they do.

    Ostara

Sadly, Ostara was a disappointment. Resins + florals = blech on me, and in this frankinscence and orris completely take over. It's kind of a murky scent, and not as springy as I would have liked. Hopefully, this month's April Fish'll satisfy my springy-floral needs.

    The Hesperides

This is my favorite apple scent EVAH, and I've tried almost every apple scent out there. It's very sweet, and Beth has done an amazing job of making it smell like an apple orchard as opposed to a single apple. It's a gleaming, juicy, red smell, and one of my everyday staples.

    Egg Nog

Oh Eggnog...you beautiful noggy goodness, why have I discovered you so late??? This is the *ultimate* foody scent, it trumps Monsterbait: Closet (although we'll have to see about those new monsterbaits, won't we...). It's perfectly sweet, rich, nutty, boozy, creamy, and all around perfect. How I wish I had a bottle.

    The Dodo

This starts out like EGHM on me - yeasty and bubbly, but then turns into pure cassia. I like cassia well enough, so this is a "meh" kind of scent for me.

    Bien Loin D'Ici

The Scarlet Woman, aglow with sensual indolence: red musk, benzoin, caramel accord, golden honey, and spiced Moroccan unguents. This is super!incense here, this is. Also agree w/above poster in that there's somthing animalistic and musky in here, though definitely not civet-like. If it were, I wouldn't touch it with a ten-foot pole. But this is growing on me, I think. Wouldn't wear it often, but it's an interesting blend.

    Feu Follet

This is a knock-you-off-your-feet floral. Honestly, the jasmine in here is a doozy. It's just so RICH, and I'm not sure I'm the kind of person who can wear this kind of blend. It has a presence of its own.

    Toxin

Ye gods, I thought I would never find a scent I love more than Blue Moon but here it is - and in fact, the very reason I bought it was because of the Blue Moon comparisans. But this - this is better. This is quite possibly the single best thing I have smelled in my entire life. Some people say the smell of their babies is pure heaven, but I can't attest to that because I don't have nor every plan to have a baby and that is besides the POINT. The point is, TOXIN is what heaven SHOULD smell like, and the fact that this scent is unreleased and I only have ONE LITTLE IMP is breaking my heart and causing me to become incoherant and typing long run on sentences and using excessive CAPS. *falls to the floor weeping* Honestly, Beth, if you make this scent GC, or even release it as an LE for a while, I will buy so many bottles you will never have to lift another finger, although I suspect that would cause more Bad than Good, as we very appreciate you lifting your fingers in the first place to give us so many other wonderful scents besides Toxin. *sniffs, wipes eyes, and tries to pull herself together.*

    Poisoned Apple

l love me some apples, so naturally I was drawn to this scent, but unfortunately i was looking for spring!apples as opposed to the evil ones. And even while I won't wear this as much as say, Ladon or The Hesperides, it captures the concept it was set out to evoke very well. The apple in here is perfect, crisp, and tart, and it's hard to see how anyone could resist it. Unfortunately, the oleander comes and ruins the fun, as usual.

    Formula 54

To the person who gave me a sniffie of this, I BOW AT YOUR FEET. I've actually had this for a long time, just never been inspired to review. Definitely a sexy blend, but sexy in a different way than Snake Oil. This is more confident, somehow - the scent of a woman who knows too much, has seen too much, but is damn OK with that. Thankfully, the clove doesn't amp up. I get a luscious blend of ripe black cherry, light rose, and tobacco that miraculously doesn't turn on me. I love it, but it breaks my heart that I'll probably never get more. Sigh. I don't know why I keep doing this to myself.

    Coconut

This isn't coconut milk, but the sweet, juicy, slightly grainy texture of coconut meat (inasmuch an odor can have a texture ). It may be a bit too sweet for me and not as smooth and rich as I prefer my coconut, but like the previous reviewer said, it is a good coconut note, so I'll be keeping the imp!

    Herbert West

I kinda bought an imp of this out of sheer curiosity, because the description fascinated and frightened me at the same time. Well, there's nothing frightening about this at all, it's a lovely lemon-aloe scent, a bit more sharp than Embalming Fluid was but that's the one it bears the most resemblance to. I'm glad I got to try it, but I won't be buying a big bottle of this.

    Vasakasajja

I am in LOVE with this particular Heroine, even though I was suspecting something much more sensual from the description. And this is sensual, just not in a seductive, come hither kind of way. Vasakasajja remindes me of a woman who's open, confident, and unabashed about her femininity. The vanilla in here is one of the most gorgeous I've ever smelled, it's just so rich and smooth. I'm so glad the Faces of the Heroine haven't been taken down yet as it gives me time to buy a bottle.

    Tears

Wow...really, they smell like tears. If you don't like aquatics, you won't like this. "Haunting" is the best word I can use to describe it.

    Queen Alice

This is a soft, creamy, spicy scent. It's not as regal as the name suggests, rather, I feel like I should be wrapped up in a warm fuzzy blanket when I wear it. Only, make no mistake, this isn't a kiddish scent at all. As the last posters suggested, it's quite sophisticated, mysterious, complex and grown up.

    Croquet

Mmm, this is *such* a lovely scent, and it seems kind of, well, schizophrenic. But I mean that in the best possible way. On one hand you have the mouthwatering citrus fruits, which are bright and sweet, but then that neon-ness fades into the wild rose and woodsy sageness. The musk isn't ornery at all - in fact, I can barely smell it! (I've always though "Ornery Hedgehog Musk" should be an enraged critter forum scent on its own).

    Pink Moon 2007

Hmm...I was reluctant about this one because carnation usually hates me, but I love sugar and phlox. It's marginally better than other carnation blends I've tried, but still, well...too carnation-y. But I'm sure fans of carnations will love this, since it's not too sweet at all. The sugar and phlox mainly act as supporting notes and let the spicy-sweet floral take the stage.

    Maenad

Like paperdoll said, a very chaotic scent. Unfortunately, the notes all muddle together in this one and I end up with one syrupy sweet mess on my skin, akin to Akuma. Not for me.

    Baobhan Sith

This was one of the first imps I ever tested out, just never got time to write a review for it. Well, I re-tested it today and decided it's just not for me. It's a very, very light scent; so light that I have to get my nose right up to my wrist to smell it. Best I can describe the scent is clear water mixed with bitter grapefruit. Refreshing, just not something I would wear, but I'll experiment with linen sprays and the like.

    Unseelie

I'm so glad I don't like this scent, as it's almost impossible to get ahold of and I would just end up pining over it a la Storyville. On me, it turns into powder. Yep , that's it. Not even baby powder, just...powder. If I close my eyes and think real hard, I can almost imagine it smells like herbal-scented powder, but I can get that much more conveniently with Leanan Sidhe (not the powder thing. The lovely herbal).

    La Fée Verte

This is a *gorgeous* scent, and even though it doesn't smell a bit like absinth it's very evocative of the beverage. It has a grainy, sugary top note, which perfectly balances out the slightly astringent, fresh, and very "green" smelling base. It's hard to place it in a category, so I'm going to say it's a sugary green herbal scent. I really do want to drink it.

    The Organ Grinder (2006)

This is a rather...odd, scent. It wavers between masculine and feminine, between smoky and sweet, resinous and foody. I get equal parts almond milk, tobacco smoke, and pine. It's really STRONG, too, so don't apply with a heavy hand. This definitely isn't something I would ever wear as a perfume, but I think I'll keep playing around with it (and thanks to the lovely mountainwitch's suggestion, it gets much better when layered with Arcana's Haint. Smoky vanilla+almond+pine = yum).

    Shango

Chili pepper, I hate you. Shango was going to be my *perfect* fruit scent, but YOU have to come along and ruin it. Thankfully, I don't cry myself to sleep anymore because I've realized the fruit notes are actually to "warm" for my liking, whereas I prefer bright, sparkling fruit scents.

    Danube

Wow, this is absolutely glorious, like a deep turquise pool surrounded by the loveliest wildflowers and the purest white lotest (no lotus here, but that's just part of the imagery). I love what the lab does with aquatics and this is certainly no exception - it'll be getting a *lot* of wear come summertime and is most definitely big-bottle worthy.
