    So my brother's girlfriend is pregnant (found out around Thanksgiving!)... so I'll be an aunt for the first time soon! A few weeks ago, they were able to find out that they would be having a girl. So, what did my head decide? "Yes, you will learn to crochet and make a baby blanket!" Such an ambitious decision for someone like me... Not that I can't do things, but because I planned to teach myself. LOL!! SO, after buying some instructional books and hooks and yarn... then having a temper tantrum ( ) about not being able to figure it out, my stepmom kindly taught me what I needed to know to succeed! Well, sort of anyway. Here is the end result (already gifted on Easter, because I am an impatient person):
     

     
    Sure, it was a little crooked... but, hey, a baby can't tell, right?
     
    Since, I have been on a mission to make 2 LARGE sized blankets: One for myself, and one for my boyfriend (he picked the yarn out and everything. LOL!). I've also bought a few cool sparkly yarns to make a few scarves (nothing like timing! I know they will be SO useful during this week of 80 degree weather, right? hehe). I figure I will do a bunch and use them next year for Christmas gifts. If I don't lose track of where I store them by then

    I still will finish my personal blanket (even though I'll have no use for it for a while now), as well as the last scarf that I've already started. I'll post pictures of those when I get them done!

    Thanks to a lovely friend of mine, I have been recently introduced to this forum (and the BPA in general). I just placed an order for 12 different imps over the weekend, and don't know if I'll make it through the month waiting for my package to arrive! hehe. I don't even know how I narrowed it down to just 12, honestly. here are the imps that I will be getting:

    Well, I've made a few more scarves (can't have enough of them in humid 86 degree weather, right? hehe). And I've also been making a bunch of felt critters out of THIS BOOK (a lovely gift from my most recent Switch Witch!). Here is a picture of those:
     

     
    I forgot to take pictures of the rest of the scarves. Oopsy! But the animals were a big hit with the children of one of the guys at my new job. So, yay!

    Well, I just caught up with all my reviews of scents I've tried so far (yay!). Seems I have 6 imps now that are ready for HennaFairy to sniff... then swap off (to her or whomever). They are: Cordelia, Catherine, Bayou, Medea, Undertow, and Ultraviolet (or, as I call it, Urinal Cake). Ew.
     
    On top of that, I wanted to start a list of people I've completed swaps/sales with here, and just sort them Good/Bad... with "*" meaning I got frimps. So far? I have yet to have a bad experience *knocks on wood*:

    I felt too much like a BPAL Whore today when I realized the newest post in my blog was just my "keeping track" post. SO, I figured I would make a new entry today, so that everyone would not be greeted by that if they decided to look into my little world a bit. LOL.
     
    We were on vacation last week, and were able to totally lose our minds and go skydiving! Here are some crazy unflattering, yet hilarious pictures:

    Midway is my "flavor of the day"... and I am still getting whiffs of it now (2pm) from having put it on at 7am. Gotta love that! Funny that I would love that scent anyway, when back in April (when I was bitten by that BPAL bug) I was totally turned off by every foody scent I sniffed.
     
    YUMMY!!! I love smelling like a 10 year old with candy all over their fingers.

It is just insane that with the zillions of flavours, I still managed to repeat one. I have the cool spreadsheet, but no Excel at home! And, honestly, I swore I even double checked. LOL.
     
    I also decided to make some icons for what I have ordered (didn't finish yet), but I'm not sure anyone liked them :-X I posted them, and everyone sort of ignored it. Oops. I guess I suck! LOL. Here is what I made so far:

    I got a small packet of imps yesterday from pink.owl! I was a busy bee last night, but managed to sniff and test these a little... I'll do a little bit more of that this weekend, and post my reviews soon Here is what I got:

    My boyfriend LOVED la belle on me. hehe. It was my 2nd favorite to Embalming Fluid (special thanks to her for throwing in that one, even though it wasnt on her list originally!). EF smells similar to Calliope, but minus that heavy lavendar. Which means it is PERFECT! hehe.
     
    I think it was BellaDonna that smelled like medicine. LOL. I liked Juliet a lot, too... but it got pretty musky as it wore off on my wrist... maybe I'll try burning that one with a candle.
     
    All I know is that my boyfriend will now pay for me to get a bottle of la belle. LOL. And I will try to find one of EF

    *EDIT: I am seriously IN LOVE with these scents. All four. Must own 3. WTF can I do now? Must buy bottle of Ligeia TONIGHT before it is no longer available. Geez. Want Endymion and Amsterdam bottles, too! YIKES!! Gotta update my wishlist, I suppose! maybe someone will swap bottles of those two for bottle I get from my Ebay purchase

    Thought I'd not be able to find a bottle of Ligeia, so I just went to BPAL and ordered a full bottle. Talk about good timing! It is, this morning, no longer available. I also got a bottle of La Belle Au Bois Dormant (my boyfriend digs that one). I will get Endymion, Embalming Fluid, and Amsterdam sometime, too!

    I also got my package of perfume sample vials from SevenSins... along with a friimp of Medea!! She rocks!
