I ordered an imp of White Moon through a decant circle because while I love sandalwood and violet, lilly is usually a deal breaker for me. In the vial: Super floral. Wet: Oh, no. Here comes the lilly. Dry: The lilly overpowered everything. This scent was long lasting and had lots of throw. After wearing it for about four hours the lilly finally settled down and the sandalwood gave the scent a lovely softness and I could smell the depth of the violet. I am happy that I got to try this scent, but, alas it is not for me.

In the vial: rose, lily and spices. Wet: A rose blend with spices. Dry: Too much rose for me. I was hoping that the myrrh would be the dominant note, but for me it was the rose.

In the vial: amber, musk and white floral. Wet: This scent reminds me of Chanel #22. Dry: Still Chanel #22. Pretty, but a bit too powdery for me.

In the imp: lavender and greens, must be the ferns. Wet: When I first applied the oil I got a surprising aquatic note. The fragrance then transforms in to a lovely blend of fern, lavender, lilac, sugar and a smidge of absinthe. Dry: I was afraid that the rose would transform this fragrance to powder, but happily, that did not happen. This is a fantastic fresh green floral scent. I don't usually wear florals, but this is fantastic. I will order a big bottle and possibly enable me Mum with the imp

In the vial: tea and a variety of blossoms. Wet: oh, you devil jasmine, this is supposed to be a tea scent! Dry: sadness. This may as well be a jasmine SN on me. I love jasmine in the garden, however I can't wear it on my skin.

In the vial: green herbal, lavender and a wee hint of citrus. Wet: much more floral than I expected. Dry: I tried this scent twice because I *should* love it. However, there is something that is giving me a headache. Off to swaps.

In the vial: spicy resinous and lovely. Wet: much sweeter than I expected. Dry: this scent turned sickly sweet on my skin. I am finding that honey often disagrees with my chemistry. I hoped that it would morph, but the scent just turned powdery in addition to sweet

In the vial: very complex. I can't discern individual notes. Wet: hmmm. I'm getting a dirty hippy smell... Dry: This blend really morphed on my skin. After about an hour it was lovely myrrh and cassia. I don't know if I'll get a bottle, but I will enjoy the imp.

In the vial: musk and oranges. Wet: the musk is surprisingly strong. Dry: the musk and sandalwood have combined to make this scent very masculine on me, not what I was expecting at all! I tried this scent twice b/c I thought that I might have grabbed the wrong imp the first time around. Same results both times. Off to swaps!

In the vial: gorgeous! Myrrh, patchouli spiciness and a wee hint of violets. Wet: This is really beautiful. The violet note is more pronounced on my skin than it was in the imp. Dry: I really enjoyed this scent for about two hours and then it turned powdery. Powder=Sadness.

In the imp: Granny Smith apples! Wet: Granny Smith apples. Dry: Still Granny Smith apples. Not my idea of perfume. Off to swaps.

In the vial: booze and aged wood. Wet on skin: musk, booze and wood. This is much more masculine than I expected. Dry: This honestly smells like I've walked into a tavern. A swirl of co-mingled perfumes, musk, booze and wood. Love the scent, but I don't think I will wear it as perfume. I think this will be an interesting scent for the oil burner.

In the bottle: green tea and plum blossom. Wet: I can't pick out individual notes, but the overall effect is stunning. Dry: This is a really beautiful blend. I would describe this as a personal scent, it doesn't announce itself to the world, but it is gorgeous. This is my new favorite Salon scent

In the bottle: tea and verbena. Lovely! Wet: the lavender blends beautifully with the tea and verbena. Dry: this scent is so well blended that it is difficult to pick out individual notes. This is sophisticated and gender neutral. I may need another bottle because I have already worn it several times

In the bottle: caramel. Well, maybe spun sugar, not quite as "cooked" as caramel. Wet: is this supposed to be floral? I'm waiting for smokey incense goodness and I get ...jasmine. Dry: there must be a molecule of jasmine in here somewhere b/c my skin is amping it and giving me a headache. Off to swaps!

One of the Biblical Cities on the Plain, destroyed by God with fire and brimstone because of its people’s pride, prosperous ease, deceit, hedonism and indolence, and their callous, uncharitable hearts. A gritty, sordid and languid scent: ripe fig, date and currant with black herbs. Yup. Gritty. Dirty in an unbathed way. Love the name, though

This scent smells like old woolens that have been stored in a cedar chest. Blech.

In the bottle: mmm, leather. Like walking in to a posh tack shop. Wet: Pear and vanilla join the party! Dry: An elegant leather scent. Glad I have a bottle, I may need more edited due to poor spelling skillz

The famous Misk U is finally in my hot little hands! In the bottle: coffee with a shot of Bailey's Irish Cream. On: More Bailey's than coffee. Dry: A smokey, aged wood smell has started to come out. Blech. I don't want to smell like bitter, acrid smoke. I am happy that I got a chance to try this and even happier that I didn't spend a fortune to acquire a bottle. Off to swaps.

In the bottle: resinous and herbal, yet not as intense as I had expected. Wet: Oh, lovely! Smokey and spicey. More of a kitchen scent than incense. Dry: Sweet, smokey, spicey with a wee hint of musk. I've worn Devil's Night three times this week and so far, it is my favorite 'weener scent. I may need a second bottle because I can imagine wearing this scent way past Halloween.

In the bottle: caramel apples Wet: caramel apples Dry: caramel apples! If you enjoy foody scents you will love Creepy. It is a wonderful novelty and seasonal scent, but not something I would wear every day.

I didn't sniff this blend in the bottle since I don't use it as perfume. The night of the afternoon that it arrived I slathered it on and hoped for the best. Not only did I have my best night's sleep in years (sorry Ambien), I woke up refreshed and I did not have the "hang over" caused by sleep meds. I must add that is smells delightful, lavender and sugar sweetened vanilla. Scrumptious! I don't use it every night, only on those nights when shut-eye is really important. I highly recommend this blend and I will order more, if I should use up my bottle.

I could just write "ditto" b/c I agree with neuilly's review and observations 100%.

In the vial: citrus and floral. Hmm, where is the incense? Wet: Very light citrus and tropical floral. Pretty, but very little throw. In fact this is the first BPAL that seems to just soak into my skin. Dry: Uh, oh. I don't think the scent went away, it just turned to a plastic Off to swaps.
