    O

Out of the imp: Perhaps I'm just weird, but I'm getting a cough syrupy kind of smell? It's sweet...just not a good kind of sweet. Dry on skin: Vanilla mixed with Robitussin...yep. I wanted to like this one. I wanted to LOVE this one....unfortunately "O" does not love me I cant get past it smelling like cough syrup to me.

    Eos

I've been wanting to try this one for sooo, and I'm so happy I finally have. Out of the imp: beautiful and bright. The florals are so lovely in Eos. The jasmine seems to be the strongest to me, but I can still detect the honeysuckle and buttercup. Dry on skin: Soft and light, it went a bit baby powdery on me, but I still like it. I feel so uplifted smelling this on myself, like I should be wearing a flowing dress walking down a windy seashore. At first I thought the heady floral scent would be too strong for me, but it toned down quite nicely. This will definitely be a signature summer scent for me, I'm very happy with it. Port Royal

Out of imp: oooh, spicy and dark....very mysterious. I immediately detect the rum, but I can't seem to wrap my head around the floral scent that is begging to come forth. I'm hoping it'll be better with the dry down. Dry on skin: I've worked at Michael's [the craft store], and the scent kinda reminds me of the store around the holidays. There is a nice clove-like note that's being lapped by a frothy salt like smell. It's quite nice actually. I had to talk myself into liking it, but after a while, I came around. I can definitely see myself wearing this around autumn/the holidays, or when I want to snuggle up with a good book.

    Windward Passage

I was extremely surprised when I smelled this scent, I don't really know what I was expecting though... Out of the imp: oh my gosh, that's men's cologne. It immediately reminded me of irish springs soap. I can definitely pick up the seaweed and salt notes out of the imp. Dry on skin: Well on me, it smells like I washed with Irish Springs and forgot to rinse it off lol. It's a nice clean, fresh scent, just not for me. Maybe my boyfriend would like it more than I did?

    Croquet

I have been a big fan of the Mad Tea Party series so far, but haven't had the balls to go out on a limb and purchase this one because of its' peculiar blend. However, I'm glad this one was frimped to me :] Out of the imp: Very fruity, yet very fresh at the same time. It kind of reminds me of a fruity bubblegum, but soooo much better. The pink grapefruit kind of jumps out of the bottle at you, but there's a creaminess about it I can't quite describe. Dry on skin: The grapefruit has toned down, but I think it smells sooo much better than before. It's bright and fun, like swinging in the park on a sunny day. It's wispy and light. What I love about it is that it's a sweet scent, but it's not too young. The sage and patchouli add a nice spice underneath to balance it out. Straight to the big bottle list with you!

    Mouse's Long and Sad Tale

Before I say anything else, I would like to say how in love I am with this scent...no seriously. Out of imp: really warm and sweet, not sticky sweet though. Sweet pea peeks out under vanilla notes. The white sandalwood adds a nice crisp note. Dry on Skin: Soft and pure, on me at least. The vanilla is the strongest note on me and the amber seems to round out the warm lingering scent that it is. After about 30 minutes the sweet pea is more detectable. Overall, I am overjoyed that I was frimped this in a swap. My boyfriend says there is something old fashioned and ladylike about this scent, and I couldn't agree more. I feel so pretty wearing it

    Veil

I ordered an imp of Veil in my last order purely based on its scent description. I don't really know what I was expecting from the scent, but I have to say, I was not disappointed. Out of the Imp: fresh cut grass and herbs. A hint of a woodsy note. Peppery florals...if that even makes sense. Wet on the skin: florals...and lots of them! The violet and gardenia are what jump out the most. I actually regretted putting it on at first because it seemed as though it was going to be too strong of a floral scent for me. Dry on the skin: the floral notes have toned down, a lot. There is this wonderful lingering scent of gardenia that trails off into a note of lilac. Overall: I am please with the scent; its very innocent and feminine. If you like cheerful floral scents try Veil.

    Whip

Whip was a scent I was really curious about, but again, didn't have the balls to order on my own. I figured that I wouldn't be fond of it bc I'm not that into rose scents but, boy, was I wrong. I'm so glad it was frimped to me bc my curiosity has been satisfied. Out of the imp: HELLOOOOO LEATHER! I really wanna know how Beth does it. After the leather, the rose comes out strong. For some reason, I really wanted to prove myself right in assuming these two scents wouldn't work together but they do, quite harmoniously. On my skin: A simple, pure/clean scent combo The rose is clearly ringing strong, but the leather balances it out so nicely. And oh my god, this scent is so sexy on me. Final Verdict: I'm still on the fence on whether or not I want a full size bottle. In the mean time, I'm sure Whip will prove quite useful to conjure the naughty vixen within me ;]

    Smokestack

Smokestack was definitely one of those scents that caught my attention while browsing, but I didn't have the balls to order an imp to try. Luckily, fate helped me out as I received a freebie imp of it in my last order. Out of the imp: WOW. This...is...so...GOOD! Really, not what I expected at all. It has this firewood vibe to it that I looove. When I take a big whiff I'm almost suffocated by the thickness of the smell, but in a good way. Dry on my skin: The intense smoky smell out of the imp has smoldered down to a dark, slow burning fire. There is also a nice bright tang of metal that hits the back of my nose. This scent is absolutely intoxicating. It is a relatively masculine scent, but I can definitely see myself wearing this regularly. I tried it on the hubby and I have to say that I think I like it better on him. Maybe I'll get a bottle for us to share

    Incubus

Out of the imp: ohmygawsh, CELERY! It was the first thing that came to mind before reading similar reviews. After I get over the celery scent, all I can smell was sage. Dry on my skin: Musky sage with a tang of sweetness. I really don't smell the mint on my skin, but I do get some sort of tobacco smell. I am so sad this scent wasn't meant for me; I was sooo looking forward to it!

    Blood Countess

Out of the Imp: I was a little scared at first, there were so many notes fighting for attention at once. The berries, lilac, and rose hit my nose first. Then comes a bit of spice, which I can only guess is the opium. Dry on my skin: Sweet with a nice floral tone. I can detect the gardenia after it has dried, and it really is lovely. Final verdict: I am so, so happy that I decided to try this scent. It smells very sensual and feminine on me. This is def going on my big bottle list
