  1. This is a clean, gentle and warm blend. I get the white leather and small echoes of white tea and neroli. Very pleasant and cozy.

    Robin Goodfellow

A warm earthy mossy woody sage blend. Very manly and suitable for men over 35 yo. It feels like an old school cologne for men from the 70s.

    The Chicken-Legged Hut

I get a feeling of white leather or suede OR it could be some sort of white musk. I can honestly say that this is a clean polished white suede blend. It reminds me of the White Rider, but with no leather in sight. For some strange reason, each time i smell it i get the chicken legs image in my head

    Grappling Octopus

This is a light powdery hay scent. It's suited more as an office inoffensive neutral blend.Reminds me of last year's On the Porch in the Rain

    An Interlude After Sake

This smells like sake!!! It has got a perfumey quality about it. In the beginning it smelled like fir needle and high pitched alchool, but shortly it turned into a woody sake. Does that make sense??? ?

    Yves St. Laurent Opium smell-alike?

Blood smells like spicy cloves and reminded me of opium.

    Stage Blood

I went through all the reviews, but none of them depict what Stage Blood smells to me, I get a dusty creamy spicy sweetness out of it. I suspect there's some clove and a dribble of dragon's blood and something else that renders the sweetness. There can't be cherry since cherry smells like almonds. Musk could be thrown in the mix as well, since the base has a musky quality to it. I'm happy i got this blend since it didn't turn out smelling what i expected it to smell in the first place. Win!

    Qui Aime Bien Châtie Bien

I get lavender and a blast of sharp flowers. Further drying, the lavender goes away and the freesia becomes more obvious and the honey is slowly peaking out. The tulip comes back and blends in with the freesia and turns into a wonderful spring bouquet. The honey note is very very light. The flowers are the key players of this blend.

    Effronterie

This is such a poetic floral blend. I just can't figure out what type of white flowers were used in this blend, but i guess it's the lily. Combined with the white musk and pomegranate, it's such a lush and floating blend. The pom just rounds out the white flowers and the musk acts more as a base. Truly gorgeous!

    Ides of March 2012

This is so different from the previous Ides of March incarnations. The blend reads on my skin as a delicious mix of dark musk and amber, up to the point that it's reminiscent of Haunted, but not as sweet and sensual.

    Jinbari Nyûdô Bobo Dokisu

This reminds me of Volcanos in the Springtime. Take out the vanilla cream and add the blueberry musk and voila!

    I Too Beneath Your Moon

On my skin this a beautiful toasted patchouli blend. It reminds me a bit of Goblin, only that one had the black patchouli variety. I get no apples, no vanilla cream or bergamot, just lavender when it was freshly applied. Patchouli lovers, hurry and get a bottle of this ASAP!

    Honeyed Apple

It smells so wonderful when wet, but soon thereafter the apple fades and i'm left with the golden honey with a beeswax undertone, The beeswax note is the same as in This Wan White Humming Hive. Really intriguing, i just hope the apple shows up, after the blend settles.

    Pleasures of the Imagination IV

Freshly applied, i smell indolic jasmine and white leather and it both smell like smoked bacon, but the leather dissipates and i get a dry smoked jasmine drydown. Imagine Phantasm stripped off its juiciness and add a bit of smoky white leather and you get this PI IV. A great standout blend !

    Oh, the strawberries, the strawberries!

Plush Viscera - Dragon’s blood resin, myrrh, and smushed strawberries with a little bit of lavender. Such a beautiful strawberry/ lavender combo

Mystical Aphorisms of the Fortune Cookie

Freshly applied, the cherry/almond note shows up. And later on the blend morphs into something that smells very similar to Perversion, the GC oil. Who would have thought?

    Koito and Sashichi

Woody green tea. I think agar-wood prolongs the scent's life span. Nothing complicated about it.

    Southern Cloudywing

Cardamom and orange peel/mate combo hit me right in the nose. Quite a strong pair. It's an intense perfumey smell bordering on high-end potpuri. I think this beast will shine in rainy weather.

    A Chattering Raven

What a beautiful beginning: a smoky plum (???), could be the opoponax, and traces of myrrh and mandarin. This calms down as it dries and i smell some soapiness creeping in (lavender ?) and the mandarin note wears off completely soon afterwards. Semi-sweet Opoponax and something else clean is what stays on my skin. Win!

    Apple VIII

Such a beautiful and gentle apple scent. Apple pulp supported by apple blossom. A fragrance appropriate for any occasion.

    Like the Flashing of Light

Sniffing inside the bottle, the neroli hit me so hard, i needed to take a step back and regroup.I hope it's not a neroli-centric scent. Testing on skin, the neroli note goes away and i'm left with beautiful wafting cloud of sweetened mandarin. Very ethereal and cozy. After 10 minutes the neroli reappears (WHY???), but it's a sweetened amber neroli with hints of saffron. This reminds me of A Wonderful Light from the 2011 Yule release.
  22. It's a rich floral dipped in honey musk. Reminds me of honey rice crispies. As time goes by, it settles into a neroli creamy honey musk. There's a note that stands out and doesn't sit well with me (not the honey), neroli or orange blossom maybe. If you're crazy about floral honey blends, get this!

The Drum Bridge and Yuhi Hill at Meguro

I get a popcorn note out of this blend that sticks around during its entire life span. It's smells like snow soaked popcorn

    Apple IX

Freshly applied, this smells like shampoo or shower gel. But as it dries down the apple fades and i get a mellow sour champagne note. Not for me.

    The Sea of Ice

I get no ice, i get no freshness, i get no ozone. What i get instead is a full-on chypre smell and reminds me on the spot of Roberto Cappuci for Homme 1967 frragrance, It's a bold masculine chypre fragrance. Totally not expecting a sea of ice smelling so manly.
