In the vial, Snowblind is minty buttercream. Mmm...I want to drink it! On my skin, it's a very smooth buttery mint and it pretty much stays that way. It's gorgeous and warm and delicious. There's an icy coolness to it that is oddly warm and comforting. I really wish I didn't have to sell my soul for a bottle of this because alas, I apparently need my soul! Didn't you see that episode of the Simpsons when Bart sells his soul to Milhouse for $5 and then it all goes downhill from there? I don't want to be stalking someone at 3am to get my soul back only to find out they ended up trading my soul for Alf pogs.

In the vial, Mitzvah is almost too sweet. It's sticky caramel and butter and something a little musty. It reminds me a lot of Miskatonic University. However, once Mitzvah gets on my skin is settles down and becomes this soft, caramel, butter scent that's not too sweet at all. It's sugary and comforting and reminds me of eating sweet cream ice cream with my mom when I was a kid and we had mom and daughter movie nights. I got a bottle of this and I'm so happy I did.

Oh wow. In the bottle I get plum and blackberry. It's one of the most fruit scents I've smelled, but it's not overpowering. It's subtle and sexy and gorgeous. On my skin it softens with the vanilla and musk, but it stays a fruit scent. The plum and blackberry are definitely in charge here. It is flamboyant and it is very obvious, but it's really not smack you in the face obvious. It's just this warm, gorgeous scent that I can't stop sniffing. Definitely happy with this one and I'm glad I got a bottle AND a shortie of it to have on hand for when I want that dark fruit scent.

The Queen of Spades immediately appealed to me because of the myrrh, amber, plum, and blackberry. I got the King because I wanted the set mostly. But the King smells better on me than the Queen. That's not saying I don't like the Queen, but it's a much, much darker scent on my skin. It's definitely a scent that reminds me of revenge and would be something to wear when you want to come across as strong and powerful. I feel like I should be wearing big, black stompy boots when I have the Queen on.

This is a boy's scent - powerful and strong in the vial. It's a heady blend that could easily go too far over to being too strong. But I think the sandalwood is what balances it out. There's a dark sweetness to it that I think is vetiver. It goes a little powdery and for some reason I get the same feeling with this that I get when I wear Snake Oil - just sharper. It's so earthy and strong and yummy. I can't believe I love a scent like this so much. It's got staying power, but the throw isn't that strong. It's very much a me scent. I'm so glad I got this one too!

I decided to try this out on Thursday before going to work. Scent-wise it's a very soft rose scent. Rose and powder, but with something that smells almost like lavendar underneath. Not my type of scent, but I wanted to wear it for it's purpose not scent so I dabbed a bit on my stomach. I immediately felt calm. My shoulders relaxed and I felt like I could take on the world. Work was pretty crazy that day - politics, heavy workload, stress because of a coworker's sick child - but everything I faced seemed to become easier and calmer everytime I touched my stomach. It was like Goona Goona just knew when it was needed. I'm so, SO happy I have a good half bottle of this. I'm definitely going to keep it in my box for those tense situations when I need a little help.

This smells like minty, fruity bubblegum in the bottle. I can definitely say that lotus is the scent that goes bubblegum on me, not gardenia. But I like this a lot. It's sweet, but tempered by the mint. It's almost dry and woody at points. The three notes never seem to blend together, but instead whirl around each other. It's a chaotic scent that never smells the same each time I sniff my wrist. It's refreshing and fun and I love it!

So I couldn't quite tell what I was smelling in the vial, but it was vaguely sweet and slightly Snake Oil-ish. So I swabbed a bit on my wrist, sniffed, and gagged. I got straight tuberose and geranium up my nose. I backed off and took a much more reasonable sniff. I got Snake Oil that smelled like it had gone running through flowers. It was a bit too sickly sweet, but had promise. So I let it dry and soften for awhile before sniffing again. This time I got the honey and myrrh instead of flowers. It took on a warm, sexy scent that really did remind me of Snake Oil only sweeter. However, there's still something a little off about the scent that just doesn't work with my nose. I don't think I'll be getting rid of the imp though.

I won a bottle of Pumpkin King in an ebay auction recently and I've been biting my nails about whether I should have done that or not. What if I hated the scent? It was a tough one. In the bottle, Pumpkin King smells exactly like pumpkin cinnamon buns. It's buttery, but not strongly buttery like Jack. It's got a baked pastery scent to it that is probably the truest bakery scent I've smelled. And it's got just a hint of pumpkins. On my skin it's spices! Lots of spices with a really creamy base to it. There's a hint of vanilla and apples with just a faint bit of pumpkin. It's one of the loveliest scents I've ever smelled. I'm a huge spice fan and this is honestly the most perfect scent I think I've ever smelled. I'm in love! God, I wish this would be released at some point. I would buy oodles and oodles of it! I want to bathe in Pumpkin King.

This reminds me of Christmas potpourri, cinnamon and apples along with pine, berries, and spices. It's not something I'd really wear very often, but it reminds me so strongly of the holiday season it's amazing. This is definitely a sense memory scent. I feel like I'm back at my friend Megan's house baking Christmas cookies with her and her mother. Amazing.

Hellllo pine and eucalyptus! It's very pretty actually, a bit heavy and resinous behind the eucalyptus. I'm not quite sure it's something I want to wear, but it's really very pretty. However it's making my skin itch so it's definitely not going to be something I wear. Erk. It'll make a great room scent though.

I *adore* David Bowie so I immediately gleaned onto the idea of Stardust. It was fate or so I thought. On my skin, Stardust is very sweet peaches with baby powder. It's definitely not good. I think it's the champagne note. I've had problems with that in the past. I'm afraid Stardust and I shall have to part ways. I'll keep searching for the scent that reminds me of David Bowie. It's a hard thing to do but I'm up for the job.

I get pine and berries from this over a very cool, snowy, crisp scent. And oddly enough a bit of gingerbread and musk. Whatever it is, it's very, very pretty. I didn't expect to like this one at all, but I do! A whole lot.

This is a very plastic rose on my skin, like the cheap rose perfume little girls wear. [wrinkles nose] I wanted to like it and I wanted my mother (a huge rose lover) to like it as well, but alas, neither of us are a fan of the Queen. I'll just stick with my lovely bottle of Rose Red when I want a rose scent.

This smells like ice and mint on my skin, very cool and haughty. It reminds me a lot of Tulzcha, but sweeter. This is how I thought Numb would smell. It's not something I'm very crazy about, but it's a very cool, pretty scent. I'm glad I tried it.

What else could possibly be more lickable at Yuletide? This is a candy cane perfume, minty, sweet and sugared. This is very much a candy cane at first, but it turns into a very cool, vanilla peppermint scent on my skin. It's surprisingly pretty, but it disappears on my skin. Ah well. It was a great scent on me while it lasted. Which was only about ten minutes tops.

The Herr is surprising. I'm not getting cherry or smoke or anything like that. It's a cool, woodsy scent that reminds me of a woodshop. There's something very musky underneath, something a little masculine and warm. I like it a lot and I'm surprised that I do. I think I'll have to get a bottle of this.

I have issues with pine scents. For years I would get migranes around live Christmas trees. So I'm always a little wary of scents that are heavily pine. Mistletoe is definitely pine-scented, but it smells a lot like eucalyptus to me. It's definitely clearing my sinuses. I doubt I'll be getting a bottle of this, but I think I'll use this instead of Vapor Rub this winter!

This reminds me exactly of last year's version, sweet grape candy with a hint of tang to it. It's so pretty and sweet and very, very girly. I love this scent.

I had no idea what to expect when I got The Cracked Bell, but it's nothing like I thought it would be. It's a bit sweet in the vial, but a creamy sweet. On my skin it's incense and something soft, almost amber-like to me. There's a definite tang with a smoky feel. I'm amazed by this scent and I think I'm going to have to get a bottle. It's just gorgeous.

The lab decreed me Nice and Snow Angel was my bottle of oil. From the get-go, I was crossing my fingers I wouldn't get Snow Angel because sugar and lemons do NOT get along with my skin at all. Sugar Skull smelled like burning plastic and all the scents with lemon smelled like lemon Pledge. So I was a little disappointed when I opened the box and found Snow Angel, but I tried it anyway. In the bottle it's sugar-coated lemons. And on the skin it's the same thing. It doesn't go plastic or pledge on me, but it's a scent I'll never wear. It's too something that I can't really put my finger on, but I know does not agree with my skin. :/ However, if someone out there looooves Sugar Skull and lemons, this scent is definitely for them.

I really want a good tea scent because I'm a huge lover of tea. I've struck out so far sadly, but I keep on trying! Spirits of the Dead smells like tea in the bottle. Tea with a bit of lemon and wood. Whee! However, when it hits my skin it turns lemon on me. And lemons do not mix with my skin. I get the old Lemon Pledge effect. And Spirits of the Dead turns into Lemon Pledge. I put this one on right as I was leaving for work so I didn't get a chance to change it out for something else. It never becomes a tea scent on me, but it definitely loses the harsh lemon pledge effect. It becomes very dry and faint, just woods and dry lemons. It's not a really ideal scent on me at all, but I think I'll hold onto my bottle for awhile.

I picked this one up because I adore amber scents. The fact it had blood orange, vanilla, and musk in it was just an added bonus. On my skin, I get a really spicy gardenia. Which is not optimal. :/ It actually leaves a red mark on my skin at first. The amber and musk is definitely keeping the gardenia from completely overpowering me, but it's not enough. However, this scent is really interesting and complex at the same time. There are two definite layers to this scent - the flowers on top and the spices underneath. I'm so very impressed with this blend even though it doesn't work on me! It's absolutely fantastic blending.

This scent is so faint in the bottle I can barely pick out any single notes. It just comes across as ... white almost. Cool definitely. On my skin though, it's a lovely soft, cold floral. I'm not a huge fan of floral scents, but this one is so faint and cool that it makes me feel calm. I would definitely wear this on a quiet night. I'm definitely holding onto my bottle.

Annabel Lee smells so floral in the bottle that it's almost overpowering. I'm not a huge fan of flowery scents though, so I didn't try it right away. However, once it's on my skin it becomes a very light floral, nothing overpowering at all. Then the sage and cucumber come to the forefront and it's just a light floral background instead. It's absolutely lovely and calming. It smells so ... green. I love it!
