It's a straight divide between patchouli and apricot on me. Uhm... wait.. the apricot is winning? Anyways, I like it!

Ok not that anyone really follows my woes and glows on here, but I've been battling my hatred for violet slowly with the help of bpal. This is the hit.. even better than violet ray. I realized what I really hated was distilled or abstracted violet. What I really needed was the true smell of violet, straight off the plant. Exactly what this delivered!

omg Where has this been my whole life? It smells like snake oil in the vial and first wet however opens up completely different and so complex.. yet there's only 4 ingredients..Drydown: Smells like a rich buttery spicy snake oil with a touch of honeysuckle on me! Totally need a bottle.

Yyyyuummm! This is so tasty smelling. In imp and wet I smell berries orange blossom & grape. that's it. Wet the berries/grape burst and an herbal smell starts to come out (rosemary). lemon peel pops out for a minute but subsides. No menthol mint however I think it had something to do with the herbal poof upon application. Mellows to a soft cloud-like sweet herbal mix.

I'm really confused by this one... I love it, yet it's meh on me. The notes seem to clash on my skin when I know on someone else this would be magical. Then it gets an undertone of my 2 favs Samhain and Dia de los Muertos? Then it fops back over to waterlily. It keeps morphing each time I sniff it!

This opens up strongly vetivert on me however the weird part is that it subsides ( which vetivert is not wont to do...). The florals and cactus do a nice job of juicing this mix up a bit, making it much fresher and greener than I expected it to be.

Wet wet wet wet pine. Smell of dew for sure. Mental image is hanging out in the white mountains or cape cod's white pine marshes in early summer morning. Nice! I wouldn't wear this however would make a nice room diffuser scent (if I owned one..).

Sweet cloying grapefruit and a touch of very sacchrine verbena. Smells like lotus has been added? Could be the white musk mingling with everything else.
-
This one is very delicate and faint on me. However I tried on Paris before it, so the lotus could be obstructing my ability to get a good solid sniff. Faint berries, green organic, not dried concentrated or syrupy.

Mmmm sugared lavender. Makes me think of lavender cakes and frosting. As with all lavender, it bursts on the skin when first wet and fades quickly, this time behind a sugary spicy veil.
-
Hmm. Violet, apple blossom, and grass? Clean refreshing and smells a bit of cherry blossom girly body wash.

Mmm. This makes me salivate! It's warm, smoky, and spicy on me. I can detect vetivert in the imp and first applied, which mellows and sweetens as it dries down. There's a crushed allspice ginger cookies and loam coming out on my skin? This really likes me. Similar to the density and darkness of kill-devil (another unexpected hit with my chemistry) I think if I was out pantherin (which doesn't happen anymore) this would come in handy. Very seductive and dark! Watch the application level..I seem to have used too much and its giving me a headache....

Smells like dry golden men's cologne. Mental image description is accurate however a little more Mad Max in my head.. I can pick out a bit of ylang ylang in there like a previous poster said. Totally arid fields baking in the sun!

Hi! Josie from The District is a simple combination of peach and magnolia. Heady and sweet. you only need a small amount and it warms nicely!

Wow.. true to description. Got a sniffie of this and attempted to squeeze a little onto my skin.. creammmmmy, sugary, pumpkin, syupy. Yum. Thankfully I tend towards spicier earthier sweetness (samhain, hetairae etc). If I was a true foodie smell addict, I'd be in a terrible furvor right now desperately searching for a bottle.

Mmmm.. Maybe because this is aged it smells a bit sweeter than it would have in 2007? Amber and frankincense incense with sugary cakes and dried fruits. Exactly as described. Warm, beautiful, and ethereal. I really like this one. Very calming and dreamy on my skin. A slightly bitter tang comes out in the drydown, however it's not offensive. Actually rejuvinates and renews the perfume, keeping my interest.

Got a sniffie of this.. straight up rye bread to my nose! I applied to see what it would do.. still dark rye bread. I think the caraway is too strong to allow anything else through. I can sense a roundness because of the amber, saffron, and bergamont, however still mainly caraway. Unique and I'm sure uncharted territory however too strong for me to actually wear around. I would like it as a house/atmosphere oil, though! Yum!

This is very strong when opening up on my skin. I smell vetivert and patchouli with cedar and smoke essence. Very masculine and dry. Softens and sweetens slightly on drydown, after my chemistry has attempted to turn it into powdered sugar, as it's wont to do. The smoke smells much better and sweeter now. Strange.. this turns into a masculine version of Hunger on me? Not bad, however I would only apply at home because of the overwhelming strength as it settles.

The first time I tried this a couple weeks ago, I smelled of roasted toffee turkey. I was a little repulsed and intrigued. Figured I'd try again to see if anything changed.. it did. Less turkey this time (whew~!~) Same from imp to drydown, this strange one is sweet, dried fruit, caramel and butter on me. There's a roasty meatiness still hanging around however it's not notably turkey-ish anymore, just juicy and fleshy like a heavy meal. Weeeiirrrdd! A keeper still.

Definitely freesia off the bat. Yuzu is muted however. Eucalyptus is giving this a tangy back. Floral, sharp, strange, silvery. Pretty accurate~ Warms up a bit on drydown thankfully however retains its bite!

I'm usually quick and precise with my reviews, however this one has me baffled? It's a simple scent, reminiscent of sweet pea and a tropical floral (think Isle of Demons) mixed together. However, there's a breathy veil over it like shroud or morgause. Throw is good, similar to some mad tea party scents with the sweetpea vanilla combo. Like!

Frimp from the lab. The leather doesn't pop on me like others have stated? I get date, something spicy and banana-ish. Smells a bit like Lush's banana moon on me mixed with tobacco. mmmmhh.. warm, lazy and sun-baked.
-
Sugar circus! This is so froot loops like everyone else said. weird! There's a burst of creamy honey and lemon when first applied, then warms down to boiled sugar fruit punch. Smells like that sugary free drink mistake ya make at the bar after 2-martini-impared-judgement-time.
-
Mmm ruddy mushrooms mixed with sweet vanilla. Interesting dirt combo. The description is exact!
-
Maybe since this is aged it's morphed a bit however now smells like sweet leather! Not even a drop of pumpkin can be perceived really.. strange!
