    The Corn Spirit

This is a very light, sweet scent. It's an outdoor sweetness, like being near a farm in the fall. Late afternoon by dry cornfields, hay in the air. Low throw and didn't have much staying power.

    Secret Donuts

Maple donuts are one of my favorites and this is a giant box of them!! This smells so delicious, but it does fade rather quickly. Two hours later and it's gone.

    Mouth So Sweet, So Poisonous

A thick, heavy scent. It's plummy and I think the opium is what stands out for me. The honey is also prominent, but it's a strong, rich honey, pulled by the plum and berries. While I tried this before bed, it's not comforting for sleep. It would be a good scent to wear while reading gothic novels.

    Ivy Twining Around Discarded Skull

This one confused my nose! It smells almost identical to Holy Trinity, a past Lilith. Holy Trinity is springtime daffodils on a riverbank, so nothing related to the notes here! I expected a dark, somber fall scent, something that hinted at impending winter. But Ivy is bright, growing, and green. I love it, but will this freshness decay with time? Will it ever have that haunting doom that was promised?

I bake a lot and my husband & I cook together. 8/13/21 The Paintbox Soapworks Weenie collection went live today! Would you like anything? Paintbox is my go-to for soaps and bath goodies. Guy Fawkes is one of my favorite scents and the Once For Yes, Twice for No sounds intriguing. The Pickety Witch is taking pre-orders for their new Halloween pins (estimated ship date: early September). Have any caught your eye? The little witch kitten!! Zeep's Spooky Collection drops some time next week. Here's the scent list. Would you like any wax melts, candles, whipped soaps, sugar whips (whipped soap/scrub hybrid), body butter sugar scrubs (moisturizing scrub), meringues (lotion), bath bombs, or bath rocks from Zeep? This is a new vendor for me and that's a huge scent list. Some that standout - Apple Cinnamon Doughnuts, Apple Pickin', Black Magic Chai, Campfire Smores, Fireside Pumpkin, Ghost Stories, Hocus Pocus, Pumpkin Queen 8/14/21 Does anyone here like vintage halloween? ME!! Give me all the vintage, especially the witches and black cats. Examples: It seems like a lot of shops’ Halloween lines have items related to the same standard fandoms, such as The Nightmare Before Christmas, Hocus Pocus, Disney’s Haunted Mansion, Beetlejuice, Addams Family, etc. Do any of those (or other ones) particularly resonate with you? Out of those probably just Hocus Pocus. Otherwise, I do like Headless Horseman items. How do you feel about atmospheric/novelty scents and novelty food items? Things like "new car candle" or "eyeball jawbreaker" or whatever. Sure, although I wouldn't eat a jawbreaker. Novelty scents over the food I think. If you like tea, how do you want it delivered? Loose? Bags? Tiny little messenger pigeons (subject to availability)? Bags are easier, although my coffee/tea maker can handle loose tea. Would you prefer to receive ONE HUGE (more expensive) GIFT and 12 inexpensive ones, a few more expensive, or all about the same price? No preference What are your fandoms, if any? Love Grishaverse items. What We Do in the Shadows!! Right now I'm not all that into other fandoms, although I do like Lego and any spooky sets they have (I do have a vampire castle and a zombie graveyard) Do you collect things like tarot decks? If so do you have a wish list or a list of ones you already have? Would you like a silk tarot bag? No Do you like rocks/crystals? What colors / kinds? Would you like them with holes drilled (either as a pendant - you'd need to stick a bale in, or a bead?) I don't have many, but would be fine receiving rocks & crystals. My mom has an etsy store - she makes bags. Do you love anything from it? We can also do box bags, draw string bags, dice bags, etc. and if you want a different type of material or a different fabric pattern, I'm open to links to specific things. (yes, we have harry potter things. We bought most of it before JKR showed herself to be a twat since we buy lots of bolts at the same time - yes, we have a whole room stuffed full of fabric.) The Big Black kitteh fabric is adorable. Let's say you want something knitted. What are you most interested in? (hat, fingerless mitts, scarf, shawl, cowl, infinity scarf, shawlette, gnome, doily, coffee mug cozy, talisman bag, dice bag, soap sack, washcloth (I have a pattern with the leviathan cross for bpal), amigurumi / toy, bracelet, cuff, necklace, other?) I would only wear fingerless mitts * What colors would you prefer said knitted object in? Jewel tones * Stripes, gradient, semi solid, variegated? * What type of yarn would you prefer? ("wool", BFL, merino, merino/silk, merino/silk/cashmere, merino/cashmere, just silk, just cashmere, tencel (non-animal, plant based), other? I also have non-dyed organic wool (mill spun) from our own sheep - finnsheep and shetland. The finnsheep is dark brown (sun bleached black sheep from Sarge and our two black ewes we can't tell apart so they're ewe 1 and ewe 2) or a lighter silvery beige (from freckles) and the shetland is white. (we just call her shetland. They're mom's sheep, she should have named them, lol.) Most of my stripy yarn is either merino or merino cashmere.) You can check out some of my finished projects on Ravelry if you like (click on the project for more photos) (I'll have to make a list of which items are available because I knit a lot of things and then just put them in a cabinet and gift or sell them.) Are you interested in receiving any of the following homemade / home dried / home canned goodies? (just erase the ones you don't want when you answer to make it easy?) Daffodils What's you favorite woodland creature? Raccoons, cutesy owls Do you prefer receiving a big box with all of your goodies, or is it okay if one or two things are shipped directly to you separately (with notice!!) for customs/shipping cost purposes (i.e. if there's something customs might not allow in from the States that can be shipped from within your country)? Ship however you'd like Would you like a fabric face mask? If so, do you prefer a dome shape or a pleated shape? I've got plenty of face masks I have a literal stockpile of skincare products. Can I interest you in cleanser, sheet masks, moisturizer, sample things etc etc.? Or a general pampering package? What is your skin type? Haha, I too have stockpile of sheet masks. But I'm always looking for moisturizers, something that doesn't leave my skin oily Anything from here? ChocolateStorybook on Etsy no I have been enjoying the incense from here hand-dipped incense sticks | Hexennacht and here Hand-dipped incense sticks | Mr. Hex (mr-hex.com) Any thing interesting from either site? no 8/16/21 Would you like some delicious coffee? If so, do you prefer whole bean or ground? If ground, what grind? Also, light or dark roast? Flavor preferences? Ground please. Lighter roasts are my favorites, and I like trying different flavors. We're working through a recent order from Bones Coffee and like their smores, chocolate raspberry, Irish cream, and buttered rum flavors. 8/17/21 I may be going to the Renaissance Fair this weekend (if not this weekend then soon and multiple times), any Ren Faire goodies you may like? I've never been to a ren faire, so I don't know what kinds of things to find I always go to my town's local Farmer's Market and they have booths selling things like candles, Gourmet Pickles, Flavored Oils and Vinegars, dog treats (like bones and animal feet), honey, and bath products. Would you like any of these things? Gourmet pickles & honey Do you have a preference for numbered packages for each night of the swap vs randomly selecting from unlabeled goodies? Either If you didn't say much about your reading preferences in your survey but would be interested in receiving books, can you elaborate a bit? I will gladly take books! Used are totally fine Are you interested in cocktails, be it recipes, infusion kits, tools, supplies, specialty bitters? No Is there something that you definitely prefer to not receive in any category (anything to avoid if you hadn't/forgotten to mention)? No eyeliner Are there patterns/prints (more guidance than general Halloween/Autumn) you like for things or are you open to whatever I may find that speaks to me? Open to whatever Any significant other or other special person? Like if I wanted to send you specialty cocoa for a date night, would that be OK? I am making up the cocoa part, but you get my drift. My husband, a couples item is fine. I would love to request folks to to put their wish list in this thread and link in their signature. I would love to decant from my oils if I have any my person is looking for! Updated my wishlist and also included a link to my google sheets master list of reviews for what I do have If you happened to list some favorite fandoms earlier, would you also name your favorite character(s) from those fandoms? What we do in the shadows - Nadja. 8/19/21 Do you have an Amazon link? Can you post it?? I do, but let me look at it first and update if you are a knitter/crocheter, are you over on Ravelry? If so, what’s your user name there?? No, knitting with cats didn't work out for me! 8/20/21 I make homemade fire ciders, would that be of interest? Non-alcoholic and they are quite fiery. No thanks Are you interested in getting other BPAL items besides perfume, like hair gloss, bath oils or T-shirts? Sure! 8/21/21 So partner, would you be interested in a Frankenbag done in Halloween prints? That sounds awesome! Y'all with furbabies... Are there any food allergies/sensitivities or quirks to know about? Nope, they don't care. One kitty is diabetic, but the others will eat what he cannot. how do you feel about (ethically sourced) butterfly / moth art (in a jar or shadowbox) Nonono. I didn't think I had aversions to anything, but I do not want that. I may have preemptively picked out 2 Halloween-themed mugs with cute matching spoons, before I knew who my match was going to be! So I leave it to you: Bat, or Cat? Haha, cat please! 8/22/21 If you mentioned aversions to any common Halloween decor items (skeletons, witches, spiders, etc.), how encompassing is that? Specifically, is a "kid friendly" drawing of that same item on a piece of decor (like, a book cover or wrapping paper) still a preferred pass? I would be fine with a drawing of a butterfly/moth, but I do not want real bug bodies. Would you be interested in receiving a never-used eyeshadow palette from Nororiously Morbid (gothy colors) and/or a never-used eyeshadow palette from Pretty Vulgar (romantic neutrals)? Pretty Vulgar neutrals are good. Mostly wear makeup at work, so it's generally neutral and simple. 8/23/21 I live in Japan. Are you interested in anything specifically Japanese I could get for you here (doesn't necessarily have to be Halloween-themed)? For example, are you a fan of the anime Demon Slayer and want merch? Are you interested in trying some fun kit-kat flavors? Do you need a new set of pretty chopsticks? Kit Kats!! I'd try any flavor there is an excellent chance teeturtle will have a sale in time for this swap: anything (particularly tshirts or socks) that appeal? Sizes? They have cute stuff, but I probably wouldn't wear it Haus of Gloi Fall Part 1 drops soon, anything here you like? https://www.hausofgloi.com/blogs/blog/fall-lineup-2021 Ghost Puffs scent 8/24/21 Could you use a journal or sketchbook? I can always use notepads or sticky notes for work Do you need BPAL storage? Imps? Bottles? I spent 2020 organizing my BPAL and have all imps alphabetized and in cases. The bottles are in a fancy antique printer tray, so those are also good. Of course, there are bottles that didn't fit and are on a normal shelf. Do you wear socks? What kind? No show, ankle, knee high, over the knee? Fibers? Yes, but right now it's mostly sandals. I also have SO MANY SOCKS. Lots of ankle socks and one cat enjoys pulling all of them out of my sock drawer. Do you have a favorite candy(ies) [or prepacked individual snacks] that you wouldn't mind filling up your box as packing material? Or teas/coffee blends you'd enjoy? If you prefer none of this, that's fine too! I do like caramel apple lollipops, m&ms (regular and peanut). Any teas & coffees I'm going down the Shore for a few days! Any treats you'd like from a cute beach town- salt water taffy? Fudge? Wrist fans? Tie-dye beach dress...? Mmmm, taffy & fudge! How do you feel about fancy marshmallows? Marshmallow might be my favorite flavor, so I'll try any fancy ones 8/25/21 We've asked about candy, but let's talk specifically about gummies. Do you like crazy shapes, sweet/sour? My husband likes gummies more than I do, so he will happily eat any flavor. Anything from these Etsy shops? Kodiak Sea Charms, Halloween Hill Studio, Grave Markings - My question, lol! So yes, I like these shops. What about the Mutter Museum's gift shop? 8/27/21 I grow mugwort and it's harvest season. Would you like dried leaves for bathing or tea? Or a bound bundle for smoke cleansing? (Its said to be excellent for divination or lucid dreaming, but do not use if pregnant.) its also a digestive bitter and tastes great on chicken. I honestly don't know what mugwort is, but I don't think I need any. I grow loads of other herbs and I'm drying them now. Any favorites you might like? Mint, basil, oregano, chives, lemon balm or others? Basil & lemon balm I grew a huge load of onions and garlic. Any interest? Garlic! Feathers? I have geese, ducks, peafowl, chickens and quail. So I collect their shed feathers and share them with people I like. My cats would probably love a feather wand toy I grew a boatload of Green Shiso this year and plan to make a shiso pesto with it. Would you like some? (Nut wise it has pistachios) I've never tried shiso, but it sounds interesting. Pistachios are totally fine. I also plan to experiment with infusing it in vodka. I'm planning a plain shiso infusion and a shiso citrus infusion. If they turn out would you like some? No thanks 8/28/21 Would you be interested in this hand sanitizer dispenser/keychain that doubles as a light (its eyes light up when you press between its eyes!)? (see photo here) I'm going to Disney in October and that would be perfect to have with me! If you're into tabletop games, what games do you already own, and/or what type are you interested in? We have game nights with friends, lately outdoor style. Yard yahtzee, jenga. We do have a lot of tabletop games, too. One that looks like fun that I don't have is called Calico. 8/29/21 DO YOU LIKE TRUE CRIME STORIES? I do! I listen to true crime podcasts, watch documentaries, and read books. But I like the mystery-solving aspects and don't like giving undue attention to murderers, if that makes sense. I also like general mysterious happenings (not necessarily crimes) and enjoyed the book The Cold Vanish, about people missing from National Parks. And although he is corny in a good way, I watch Josh Gates and his Expedition Unknown and Destination Truth shows. DO YOU LIKE SEASONAL MAGAZINES ON BAKING AND DECORATING? Yes, I always like the Martha Stewart holiday magazines. Baking is so much fun, so I like to see new ideas. If you are enthused by the idea of receiving coffee, do you want whole bean or ground? AND do you have flavors that you like (or definitely hate and never want again)? Ground, please. I like Irish Cream, chocolate flavors, berries, pumpkin, salted caramel, hazelnut. We've been really getting into new flavored coffees during the pandemic. 8/30/21 Would you be interested in some very size-inclusive tights? There are Halloween patterns, but also most colours under the sun, and are very comfy. I'm 5'10" and usually have a hard time finding tights that are tall enough for me. I do have a few rights that work, and would like another charcoal gray color. What about indie chilli sauces/chutneys/jams? What type of chilli/spice level? Jams! In case anyone else shares a love for adorable tiny plushies, any interest in v soft and cute vegetable/fruit plushies? There are also small animals. I have a lot of Pusheen plushies so don't really need any more. The Polish Pickup/Indie Pickup is live for wishlisting, and will ship in time for this swap (this year). Anything strike your fancy? (It's not just nail polish...there's jewelry and bath scrubs and wax tarts and all manner of things. It's fun!) https://polishpickup.com/ Double, Bubble, Toil & Crafting Trouble - LOVE THOSE COLORS. Inflatable Spookies, A Treat to the Little Witch, Get Lit, Wizard Kitten, Jack O'Lantern 8/31/21 Anything here sound good to you? https://gryffonridge.com/ Some of the flavored sugars - lemon & vanilla Hayden Evens Art has released some new Halloween and Disney-themed prints and stickers. Do any spark your interest? Not a huge fan of the colors here. So would you hate or be into more miscreant Halloween vibe decor - like wholesome figurines repainted, creepy dolls, goats with horns, (fake) animal skeletons, things in jars? Is anything too dark, morbid, or recoil worthy? No creepy dolls! I do like repainting of figurines and especially turning Christmas houses into haunted houses. do you use any sorts of semipermanent dyes or do anything fun/wild to your hair? are there any hair products you like? I use detangling spray and that's about it. what about skincare? i am pretty into k beauty and am curious if others are interested in any aspects of this. I'm set with sheet masks, but any other skincare will be used! I do like micellar water and sleep masks (not any sheet mask style, but more of a night cream-based mask). 9/2/21 Cellar Door Bath Supply Co.'s Halloween & Fall collection is out (https://cellardoorbathsupply.com/collections/halloween-fall-collection😞 anything you might be interested in? Scent descriptions that intrigue me: Grand Traverse Ghost Walk, Haunted Woods, Once Bitten, Sanderson Spice Regarding tea, what type of tea do you prefer? Black tea, green tea, herbal tea? Any type of tea you really don’t enjoy? I like black teas, although this past weekend I reorganized my kitchen storage and realized that OH LOOK AT ALL OF THE TEA THAT I CURRENTLY POSSESS. It's a lot. A lot, a lot. If you already have selected tea, that's ok, I will enjoy it eventually! But if you haven't yet made a tea purchase, then I will be totally fine without it in this swap. 9/4/21 are you interested in eco-friendly menstrual products? There are some beautiful gothic print reuseable pads I'm looking at specifically. No thanks 9/6/21 Bath and Body Works? I know this is a bit of a love em or hate em company, but I really love their foaming hand soaps and scented hand sanitizers and my kids like their body wash, so I'll be placing an order with the next good sale. Anything that catches your eye? Any marshmallow pumpkin scents. Open Sky, Sunrise Woods, and some of those "outdoor nature" scent profiles sound like winners, but I haven't tried them. I haven't gotten anything from BBW in probably over a decade, but am willing to try.

    Walking My Daughter to Class

Such a light vanilla lavender!! There is a sparkling sweetness with a hint of Dorian. Sadly, it was gone within an hour on me. Gone like it had never been on my arm! This may be good for drifting off to sleep.
  7. tyche

    Like the Very Gods

Like the Very Gods is unique for my collection. It's woody, like an ancient dry tree in the sun. There is absolutely a warmth to the scent and I think of it as a summertime bottle. It stays close to the skin. I don't catch any honey, but the olive blossoms are there.
  8. tyche

    Fairy Thorn

Spring is on its way, so the time for my Fairy Thorn is here!! I love the clean light florals in this one. Some other plum blends are dark, but this plum nectar is refreshing and just floats on top of the moss. One of my all-time favorites.
  9. tyche

    Two Frames

Sweet lavender cupcake frosting!!! The kind of buttercream frosting where you want a huge corner piece of cake loaded with generously piped flowers. The lavender is like Daybreak from another Lilith year, very calming and relaxing. This is absolutely delicious.

    Faster Kittycat?

When wet, this reminds me of Lady Lucille Sharp, but without the deep dark fruitiness of that. Maybe just the ambers? It also definitely hits a memory of my grandmother's fancy perfume bottles from the 50s-70s. She kept them on a glass tray and held onto the bottles for decades. So this smells like vintage perfumes, but not any one in particular. It's more the idea of vintage perfume. It was great at first...but now I'm 4 hours in and getting a very strange scent. It took me a while to place exactly what I'm sniffing but finally figured it out. This is turned into asparagus pee on me. I'll give the bottle some time to rest and try again in a few weeks.

No thanks 8/30/20 Is there anything you want from Japan? Current kit kat flavors are... I do have quite a bit and frequently buy from Live Love Polish. 8/29/20 Does anything from Paintbox Soapworks catch your eye (http://paintboxsoapworks.com/)? Haha, I placed an order the day her weenies dropped. Hex on the Beach is amazing, I just got the oil in it. So any lotions, bath struesels, or candles. I didn't get any candles on this order, but would love some. Does anything from the Trading Post's etsy page catch your eye (https://www.etsy.com/shop/bptradingpost)? After enjoying looking at the links several others have put in the questions, I decided to add some of my own favorite independent artists who I enjoy supporting - so, what do you think of the goodies from these people? I don't have a slipper I love yet, but I'm working on it. So, which of these things might you like? Give me some thoughts on colors you like & if for a teapot or press, I need to know a size. Arm warmers! I can wear those in my office. Mittens don't get much use in Louisiana. I enjoy historical reproductions and am a fan of LBCC Historical Apothecary. Is there something in her store you might be interested in? I get Ipsy and just have tons of makeup, so I really don't need more! 9/13/20 Do you have a favorite art style/movement/artist? There are a few favorite artists on my Etsy. But for grand, historical art styles and movements? It's hard to pin down anything specific, I guess I just get overwhelmed at all of the possibilities. Sure, I like to think that I'd wear the dresses that I own (and sometimes I do!), but I mostly wear jeans and whatever is comfortable. What is your favorite mythological creature? Selkies. It’s a magical giant beaver gas station/shop! It has spices, fudge, Knick knacks, all things Texas, candy, beef jerky, roasted nuts, and of course beavers! Most things like the fudge and nuts are made in house. We've made a stop at the Alabama Bucees and it was fun!! Lots to choose from. 9/20/20 How do you guys store your decants so they are not a confused mess? If you've got a system, please share it. My decants are a confused mess 😲 9/21/20 I'm a knitter. Yay in food/drinks but nay in other products (soaps, perfumes, etc.) or vice versa? What are your thoughts? Yay...if edible I prefer nutmeg-free pumpkin spice. Candy corn – love it or loathe it? Or just don’t care much one way or another? I like it, but only need to eat one or two pieces a season. I've also started playing with homemade marshmallows and fruit candies. Any interest? All of the above. HOMEMADE MARSHMALLOWS made my heart skip a beat.

    Cozy Pumpkin Sweater

This one is so true to its name! The scent is just plain cozy. The pumpkin seems more of a fresh pumpkin scent - pumpkin juice, perhaps? - rather than a pumpkin spice. That makes it a lighter scent than the heaviness I generally associate with cinnamon and ginger spices. it also has a sweetness that is quite comforting. It lasted a couple of hours on me, I applied about 8am and now at 1pm its only noticeable if I'm sniffing my wrist. This one is going to be a great fall scent.
  13. tyche

    Daybreak

The lavender is similar to last year's Waiting, but the coconut & vanilla make this a warmer scent. I really enjoy the coconut and this was wonderful to wear to sleep.
  14. tyche

    Brunch Witches

I tried Brunch Witches this morning and immediately smelled the Crunchberries cereal! Glad to see it wasn't just me. That artificial berry scent fades after about an hour and then it's a pleasant sweet cream. I really don't get any pumpkin, all berries & cream.
  15. tyche

    Honeyed Apple

My first apple scent, too! I really enjoy this, the apple is strong and bright. It's a refreshing light fall scent, a nice change from the darker, heavier Weenies in my collection. The honey comes in after about a half hour and stays for quite a while. There is a nice lingering syrup scent.

    13 nights of Halloween 2016

Forgot to stick this in my questionnaire - I love Penny Dreadful - but I haven't seen the final season yet! paintboxsoapworks/PBSW: I couldn’t help myself and already placed an order with Creeping Horror soap, Red Right Hand lotion, What the Moon Brings lotion & soy wax melts. I would like to try the bath streusel – Indian Summer is a favorite and so is Smoky Jack. Dia de los Muertos/Day of the Dead: I don’t celebrate Dia de los Muertos. I appreciate the rich traditions, but don’t take part. Ren Faire – I’ve never been to one! I really don’t know what is even available. Fandoms - Harry Potter (when I read the books, I thought I was Ravenclaw, but I’ve come to realize that I am in fact Slytherin), Jonathan Strange & Mr Norrell (LOVE the fae in this book), Outlander, Leigh Bardugo’s Grisha books, Oliver Potzsch’s Hangman’s Daughter series, Downton Abbey, Great British Baking Show. For collecting, if a cat is involved, then yes. Knitted items – I like mittens, scarves, arm warmers. Nothing too thick or heavy, since we don't get very cold winters in Louisiana. Fall/Halloween icons – Black cats, witches, vampires, ghosts, mummies, skeletons, werewolves, a lot of vintage Halloween things (especially old postcard images), the Headless Horseman, Jack o’lanterns. My next door neighbors get super into zombies and turn their front yard into a zombie graveyard, so their decorations fill my zombie quota for the season. I do like colorful fall leaves and as an Illinois native now in Louisiana, that’s what I miss most. Soaps – I do like bar soaps for the shower and liquid (or foam!!) for hand soaps. Teas – I like black teas best, herbal is also good in fruity flavors. Chai is lovely. Past Weenies – Oh, the Sleepy Hollow collection. That unfortunately was released when I took a bpal break and I missed all of it Others include The Unquiet Grave, Pumpkin Lager, Halloween: New Orleans, A World where there are Octobers Are you a shawl wearer- and if you don't wear one now, would you? - Not really Tell me about LUSH- do you like them? If so, what are some of your favorite things from there? Particularly fond scents or products? Stuff you can't stand? - Never tried Lush. Fizzy bath things are fun, though! So, in this swap, you open a goodie every day. I have seen this gift direction done several different ways, but I am interested in which you are most keen to do. Would you rather: A. have strict direction as to which gift is to be opened on which day(aka the number system)? B.have a few gifts that are meant to be opened on specific days (ex: *this* one is for Halloween night only), but the rest be your choice? C. have a free-for-all, grab bag-style box of goodies, where you are the sole arbiter of your goodie grabbing destiny(everything is wrapped but you pick the gift you want to open each day)? D. be surprised? Haha, just make it easy for me and number them. I live in Japan, is there anything from there you would specifically want? Nothing specific, I'm open to surprises Pumpkin Spice or No Pumpkin Spice? Yay to pumpkin spices like cinnamon, ginger, and cloves...Nay to nutmeg. It's fine if it's sprinkled in with other spices in a baking mix or something, but stand-alone nutmeg is just awful to me. Milk, white, and/or Dark Chocolate? Dark dark dark. And never white chocolate, it's just too sweet for me. Do you like Yankee Candle? Anything you want from there? I prefer waxes or tarts to candles, just because open flame + cats is not the best idea. Anything you have your eye on at BPTP? Very curious about the hair glosses. The Crimson Peak claw polishes are gorgeous, too. Bath & Body Works No thanks Sockdreams Footie socks! The sockness monster and the shark attack are adorable! Baked goods - It's still really hot here, so most baked items wouldn't do well sitting on my porch after delivery. But I'd love baking mixes that I could make myself Anything special you want from the Target dollar spot? Nothing special, but you're welcome to choose something Witch In/Out Sign- No thanks I live in The Netherlands. If there's anything in particular that you'd like to get from here, now's the time to tell! I'm willing to try any yummy treats I'm sort of collecting Lush showergels.Regular collection, but also many Kitchen items. Are there any showergels you'd like to try? I'd be happy to make you samples! I'd rather have soap, I don't really use showergel that much. What is your stance on Glitter? I'm fine with it in decorating & crafts Also, if you have a Goodreads or other online reading log, does it include a wishlist? Otherwise, is it safe to assume books on the 'to-read' section are wishlist items? Or are you less into keeping a physical copy of the book, and instead prefer to turn to the awesomeness of the library to get your to-read need accomplished. And I'll be working on my goodreads all day now It's a bit of a mess because I had used shelfari for years, but had to export all of that to goodreads. I'm making an "on my wishlist" tag for books that I want on my bookshelves at home. Tea lovers, what do you like from Whittard? Never tried. I just looked at their website and I'd try anything (just not decaffeinated, I love my caffeine) how about art? (Small/mailing safe sizes, course) Yes Dearest Pumpkin - how much are you wedded to wishlists, say I have some read once books which I think you might like based on what you've read in the past, but there is nothing of the sort on your current Goodreads "to read" list? Always open to new books, especially historical fiction How do you feel about reading series out of order? Obviously not in situations where the subsequent books are part of the same story arc where you will be totally lost and frustrated if you haven't read all of them, but say, standalone stories which are technically part of a series and which might obliquely reference past books, but not in such as way as to spoil the plot of the book which I happen to have in my possession that you might like. Totally fine with it, as long as I'm not missing something critical. But standalone stories are great - and with mystery/crime series, I usually pick and choose random ones that interest me rather than reading all books in the series. Would you be interested in a Halloween themed short story anthology? Yes Is there a limit to the number of books you'd like to receive? Since I work at a library (but in the local history/genealogy section), I do have access to pretty much any book I want. And I love getting the ARCs when they go to discard. Maybe limit books to 2, since my to-read mountain grows larger every month. Movies in 15 Minutes? I don't know what this is What kind of phone do you have? droid turbo 2 Have you seen the horror film The Babadook? If so, did you like it? Would you want something Babadook-themed? Haven't seen it Those who are amenable to yarnie things--ok, two questions: Any undesirable fibers (wool allergy, vegan so no critter hair at all, etc.)? and how do you feel about cowls/infinity scarves? No scratchy wool please. I do like infinity scarves! Motherhood update: So excited about the update!! I'd really like to try these: A Little More Tea, Funerary Papyri, Lilith & Sekhmet, Holy Trinity, Little Lady Frankenstein, Stonehenge at Dusk, Heel. So who likes incense? and is there a preferred scent? and cones or sticks? Would you like a burner for it? I never use incense, it's just not my thing

    Looking for a Gardenia scent

I love the gardenia in The Lady of Shalott. It is very similar to the gardenia bush in my front yard with a little aquatic mixed in.
  18. tyche

    Lady Lucille Sharpe

I'm trying Lucille today, the first of the 4 CP bottles that arrived yesterday. I can't stop sniffing my wrist! Definitely getting dark, juicy florals, with a hint of dry rose. I'm usually not a fan of rose, but this is very faint, not at all overpowering, and I enjoy it. The scent actually makes me think of the Evil Queen in Snow White, all purples, greens, and reds.

    Switch Witch 15 help

Pumpkin: Yes! I lean more towards the pumpkin baked goods and coffees than candies. Pumpkin soups and pastas are good, too. Booze: Sure, just not a lot. We have a very full liquor cabinet and lose more alcohol to evaporation than actually drinking it. Yellowstone: I'd love to go! Actually, memorabilia from other national parks would be fun, magnets, pens, little stuff like that. Are you a fan of the TV show Penny Dreadful? Yes! I'm getting my husband to watch the 1st season in anticipation of the 2nd season's DVD release. What are your coffee and tea preferences? Do you prefer one, the other, both, or neither (and if it's neither, what about things like hot cider and cocoa)? Loose leaf or bags, whole bean or ground? Is caffeine OK? Any gadgetry you're in need of? Any brands or flavors that you particularly love, loathe, or want to try? I like both, ground coffee and tea bags are just easier for me. I don't have a coffee grinder. Caffeine is good and necessary. What's your sense of humor like? Do you enjoy puns? Play on words? Dirty humor? Dry humor? Who are some of your favorite comedians? Puns usually make me chuckle. Also I stumbled across Iliza Schlesinger on Netflix and loved her jokes. I really like the humor in Parks & Rec. Do you like board games? If so, which ones? Traditional or more unique? (like Settlers of Catan, Small World, Red Dragon Inn, etc) We have regular game nights and play whatever - Uno, Cranium, Exploding Kittens (our newest purchase!), Cards Against Humanity, Gloom, and Betrayal at House on the Hill. Is there anything that you specifically do NOT want to receive? I don't need any scarves, they are my weakness and I have more than one human should ever possess. Please do not enable me. Plain or fun socks? Always fun socks! This should not even be a question, who doesn't want fun socks!?!? Name one (or as many as you would like) thing you would like to learn more about? I'm curious about jewelry making. I really wanted to get into knitting, but it was too hard with all the assistance from cat paws. OH! JAM! I want to start making jam. My sister-in-law just gave us 4 jars of her jam (peach, blueberry, apple, and carrot cake), so I'm inspired to try. What one thing you would like to do more of? I just want more time to do the things that I enjoy. I really like baking, but don't do it as often as I would like. What are some things that fascinate you? Or, What would you like to know more about? Geology. Plants, although outside gardening is difficult with the Louisiana heat. Would you like any cookie butter (just to be clear, store-bought, not home-made, and does contain wheat since it's, y'know, cookie butter)? I like cookie butter, but I prefer the cookies (speculoos cookies) because of their crunchiness. Would you like anything from Lush? Never tried Lush before. Do you prefer hand-made or store-bought? Either. SPICY! Scale of 1 to 10, with 1 being "oh, that's a bit too much black pepper for me" and 10 being "ghost pepper? scorpion pepper? I laugh at these! I love as much heat as you can throw my way!" Where are you? A 5. I do love chili chocolate. What is your BPAL "Holy Grail"? Analog or Digital? Or Both? What scents from other perfume companies are you really wanting to have in your collection and or are just really wanting to test? Companies like NAVA, Arcana, Solstice Scents, Possets, Haus of Gloi etc.....? I haven't tried much else. I'll have to see what samples I have received from other companies, but nothing was as good as BPAL. Do you have an affinity for any specific animals? Kitty-cats! Kitchen Needs or Wants? I always want more spatulas, pot holders, kitchen towels. Below is where the Bold button got stuck and I couldn't unbold so I colored. Makeup! Do you like it, would you want some? If so what brands do you like to wear? I do like it! I usually get Ulta brand (sales all the time), benefit, and too faced. Chocolate fiends ahoy! What kind of chocolate do you like? Do you like any other things in it or just plain good ole chocolate? Dark chocolate is best, good quality milk chocolate with nuts, fruits, pretzels, etc is next. I don't like white chocolate at all. Would you be opposed to receiving a ton of Halloween themed items? Nope, I love them. But I do need more general fall themed decor that can be displayed through November and not put away after Halloween. Would you be interested in any special little thing I might be able to pick up from the Great Lakes Bat Festival this Saturday? Both Janell Cannon (author of Stellaluna and other kids' books) and Fiona Reid (illustrator for lots of animal field guides) will be there, so would you possibly be interested in something like an autographed copy of Stellaluna or one of Cannon's or Reid's other books? Or something from the Organization for Bat Conservation, like a shirt or other swag? Those shirts are cute! What items from the Weenie update interest you, should you have to option of getting anything as a gift from your Witch??? Would you be ok with decants, or bottles? I'm not sure if I'm going to order bottles or not yet from Weenies. I would love to try October, the Vampire Bride, and Apple I. The others didn't grab me. But there are some Liliths that I'm curious about, too. What's your favorite scary movie? I like suspenseful and creepy scary movies, not the blood/pain horror movies. The Skeleton Key is a favorite, The Others is also good. I do like the classic monster movies, too. Blu-ray or DVD? We have both, but I don't know how to use the Blu-Ray Game systems - console or computer? Mac/PC? Which console? WiiU is pretty much the only thing I play...all the Lego games! Working on the Jurassic Park one now. Are you dressing up for Halloween and if so do you need any accessories for if? Not sure yet, but I don't need any accessories if I do. Talk to me about bags, what kinds do you like? Sizes and styles? Bags like purses or bags like shopping bags? If purses, the bigger, the better. With lots of pouches. If shopping bags/totes, I am really set for those. I have numerous sturdy canvas bags for groceries and they usually double as my lunchboxes. What are your favorite fandoms and do you want to receive anything related to such? Harry Potter! Hunger Games, Walking Dead, Sherlock, Downton Abbey, Outlander. Anything related would be lovely. What are you planning to order from the Weenies update? I think I answered this somewhere else..but yes, most likely. October, The Vampire Bride, and Apple I. The Last Huzzah of the NY Renaissance Faire happens this weekend and I'm going! Is there anything you might want? (Besides a turkey leg, which won't ship well!) Probably not. Do you like comics or graphic novels? Any issues or collections you want to read? No Do you like fanfic? Would you like a story written for you as part of your gift? What characters/fandoms/pairings etc do you like? Not really into that. Where do you have wishlists at? If you could please link to them or to a post that links to them. (Amazon, Etsy, Think Geek, Pinterest, Sephora, Lush, BPAL/BPTP, Soap Box Company, everywhere and anywhere!) I think I have them all in my signature links. Let's say you have indicated interest in receiving a hand knitted item. What colors, exactly, do you like? If you could provide color swatches here or to pinterest (or something visual), that would help out a lot. Greens, purples. Would you rather receive a bunch of little packages through the round, a couple of medium packages, or one big package at the end? Last year's witch spoiled me with lots of little packages and then a big one at the end. Whatever works for you, witch, I know that getting to the post office can be a pain sometimes. For those of us with out-of-country Witchees, would you be happy with receiving a few packages from local to you merchants (say, through Etsy or equivalent)? Sure. Would Witchees like something from IKEA? (Or any other not always accessible by everyone store?) Not from IKEA. There is no Trader Joe's near me, though, and I miss it. If/when you go to the mall, for which store(s) do you beeline? Charming Charlie's, Francesca's Do you receive any subscription boxes (julep, lootcrate, ipsy, birchbox, etc.)? Lootcrate (more for my husband) , Stitch Fix (they have gift cards, witch!!), True Drool, and graze. Do you like tarts/candles/incense? If so, what type of scents? No candles or incense. Tarts are good, just not in overly floral scents. Is there anything you wish you could have picked up from the Dragon*Con exclusives? I don't know what dragon con is, so no? Is there a GC you've been dying to try but haven't got around to yet? Dorian The questionnaire asked about gold & silver jewelry, but how do you feel about copper jewelry? Do you like colorful jewelry, or do you prefer to keep it neutral? I don't have any copper jewelry, but like the more delicate bracelets that I see on etsy. I do like colorful jewelry. We asked about decorating style, but are you interested in receiving decorations for your home? Are you interested in things that go on the wall or things that go on shelves? Shelves. Office supplies hound? Pens, pencils, journals, any preference, or favorites? Yes, we have such boring pens & pencils at work. Pretty notebooks would be nice, too. Talk to me about socks! Is there anything, dear, dear Witchee, that I can get for you from Sock Dreams? Anything from another place? I've never heard of Sock Dreams before, so I checked it out. Cute stuff! I usually wear ankle socks. I live near a huuuuge candy store. What kind of candy do you like? Gummies? Caramel? Chocolate? Sour? Sugar-free? A little candy is fine, but please don't overload me! Caramel, chocolate, taffy are favorites. No sours or black licorice. 9/26/15 How do you feel about animal products? Not so much animal toys or food, but more like furs, paws, bones, etc. No thanks. The only fur items I own are cat toys made from old fur coats. Are you interested in receiving any restaurant.com gift certificates for your area? I always forget to bring gift cards with me when I go to dinner, so no. 9/27/15 How do you feel about "toys" - stuffed animals and the like? Little toys for my desk are great and I do like the Funko pops. Stuffed animals are endangered in my house though, the puppy can destroy one in less than a minute. Did you see the eclipse last night? How do you feel about astrological events, like eclipses? Any interest in the Blood Moon Eclipse scent from BPAL? Too cloudy here to see anything. The Blood Moon Eclipse scent sounded interesting, but I've never tried any lunacies. Witchee's, how tall are you? And perhaps, what's your arm span (from wrist to wrist)? I'm 5'10" and have no way to measure my arm span right now. How do you feel about the 4 elements? Or are you more of an Asian 5 elements person? Do you feel strongly about any of the elements, like a connection or a preference? No. How do you feel about bento boxes? Is it something you would use if you were to get one? They are cute, but I really wouldn't use it. Scarves, shawls or cowls? Mittens, gloves, fingerless mitts or wristlets? oooh, scarves...I have so many, but still. I like the fingerless mitten/gloves. It hardly gets cold enough here for serious winter gear, but the fingerless ones are perfect. how do you feel about online classes? Like, say, craftsy or creativebug? Or even lynda.com? I feel like I've given money for some classes and then my lazy butt never does anything. 9/29/15 What do we want from Paintbox Soapworks? Everything. All of it. ALL OF IT. More specific than that? Creeping Horror glycerin soap...look at that face!!..., and any products in these scents - Hiraeth, Scrumble, Smoky Jack...absolutely Smoky Jack. If I were to make you some art, would you prefer a frame that hangs or one that sits? And what color/style would you prefer? Maybe a frame that sits. Greens, purples, blues. How do you feel about gourmet marshmallows? They look delicious, but they also look like they would melt into a marshmallow puddle in my mailbox. Are you a slatherer or a dabber? A dabber.

They Shall Eate the Residue of that which is Escaped

I liked this in my decant when I opened it. Once I tested some, it really reminded me of something else that I just couldn't figure out. On my second try today I realized it smells like Avon Skin So Soft, a bug spray that my mom used when I was little. That's not really a bad thing, just not what I expected from a plague of Egypt!
  21. tyche

    Fire Mingled with the Haile

This reminds me a bit of Tempest. There is a quick hint of sweet hay at first and then it goes all aquatic and lovely. I really like this, but wish it had more staying power. I put it on at 8 am and it was gone by 9:30.
  22. tyche

Smite All Thy Borders with Frogges

I definitely get the clean, fresh cucumber scent right away - but then there is some murky green once it's on my wrist. A rich garden dirt is also present and I can pick out the tomato leaf, too. Overall, it's a nice scent, but it was gone within about two hours.
  23. tyche

    Mari Lwyd

I'm very glad I got a blind bottle of this. The cake scent is strong in the bottle, but mellows quickly to a pleasant sweetness. The lavender is lovely. I notice the ale only briefly, and to me it is similar to yeast scent while making a sweet bread dough. So Mari Lwyd makes me think of rolling out King Cake dough - we'll say the lavender is the purple sprinkles!

    Magnificent Autumn

I'm trying this out today; I just received my order on Halloween. In the bottle this is green leaves, almost grassy, very pleasant. When it's on, the greenery morphs into something a little darker, a little heavier. It is very much the scent that you find in the woods when on a late autumn hike. It doesn't smell like dead leaves, it smells like the pretty colored leaves that you find newly fallen on the ground, or ones that you have to reach to pick from the tree. I've only had it on for 2 hours and while it's still there, it's not as strong as I'd hoped it would be. I'm definitely glad to have a bottle, this will be enjoyable throughout November (especially since Louisiana autumns tend to begin this month!)

    Switch Witch 14 Help

My etsy likes My shelfari books (I fixed this so my wishlist is stuff that I haven't read) My BPAL wishlist (I'll take imps, bottles, or decants) Pinterest page Things that I forgot to put in my questionnaire: Can't remember if I mentioned my nail polish love - darker colors (but I think I'm set with purples) especially. I'm having trouble finding a good navy blue. I like glitters in moderation, mostly because they are a pain in the butt to remove. I prefer to use brands that are 3 or 4 free, with the exception of butter London polishes - colors are amazing, but they always chip like crazy for me. While I love pumpkin and autumn food treats, I do NOT LIKE NUTMEG. When I make pumpkin pie, I use cinnamon, ginger, and cloves. Nutmeg tends to sneak into many foods around this time of year, unfortunately for me. Also on the ick list is licorice. Answers to SW questions: 1. Pumpkin bombardment is absolutely fine with me! I love any pumpkin bread, cookie, dip, butter, pie, etc. Non-edible pumpkin decor is also wonderful. I've already got a string of pumpkin lights that I have to find a spot for. 2. Canned goods - I like salsas, but I'm hesitant to try homemade canned goods. I don't even want to try canned stuff from our local farmers market. Honestly, I won't even eat it if my family members can it. I'll eat all manner of baked goods, though. No botulism in cookies! 3. Trading post - So far I haven't purchased anything from the trading post. The hair glosses sound interesting, would like to try those. 4. Direct sellers - I really have only been happy with Pampered Chef purchases. I got a little veggie chopper and a garlic press that I use all the time. Not a fan of Mary kay or Avon stuff. I like an origami owl necklace that I got as a gift, but haven't seen any other charms that want to buy. 5. Coffee/tea - Sweet, sweet caffeine. I love coffee and tea equally. Prefer ground beans, as I have a standard old drip Mr. Coffee. I also like starbucks, but don't go on a regular basis because of $$. For tea, a friend in England sent me a monster pack of PG Tips, so I'm set with basic black tea for a while. Flavored teas, especially autumnal kinds, would be appreciated. 6. Kitchen accessories - Love to cook and bake. Any cutesy little kitchen things are great. I have a few fun things like a pink piggy whisk and spatula, a googly-eyed potato scrubber, and farm animal pancake molds. My current spoon rest is chipped, so a new one would be nice. I also like kitchen towels and will use holiday themed towels throughout the year. 7. Creative endeavors - I am only slightly crafty, so I don't need any supplies. 8. Cultural connections - I majored in classical archaeology, and loved Roman and Etruscan history. I even took Latin classes, but only basic vocab stuck with me! I also have worked on my own genealogy a lot (since that is something I help people with at work), so I do feel a connection to Ireland & Germany through the ancestors I've discovered. 9. Commissioned art - If someone wants to draw my fat orange cat, that would be amazing! He deserves it. 10. Free time/hobbies/interests - Reading, watching tv & movies, playing with my cats, dabbling with painting projects, trying not to kill my plants, volunteering with animal rescues, some videogames 11. Tabletop gaming - No gaming for me. 12. DVDS/games - I usually borrow movies from the library and don't feel the need to own them. 13. International snacks/candy - I'll try anything! I like to get international stuff from World Market, that's how I found Jammie Dodgers and Ginger biscuits. 14. Favorite meme - I love Grumpy cat. 15. Facebook - I don't put too much on FB, so I don't think it would be a big help idea-wise. I'm not against friending BPALers, though! 16. RCCC con - Unfamiliar with this event and pretty unfamiliar with comics in general. 17. Contact with witch - since this is my first SW, I'm kinda winging it. I'd like to get to know both my witch & witchee, so contact once or twice a week will be good. 18. Puzzles/riddles - I do like crosswords and some puzzles. I am awful at "unscramble the letters" puzzles. 19. Music formats - I have CDs for my car and digital for my phone, kindle, and non-ipod thing. I use Amazon's music store. 20. Current annoyance I haven't dealt with - cleaning my closet and arranging my clothes/donating unused items, not really something a witch can assist with 21. Good luck trinkets - Sure! 22. Superstitions - No, can't think of anything 23. I'm not a vegetarian or vegan, so don't bother with this one. 24. Apples - I love apple cider and I miss living near apple orchards. Fake apple-y candy is not always great, but I do like the caramel apple pops (think tootsie-roll makes them) 25. Fabric aversions - Wool is scratchy, so I'd prefer not to have it in scarves or gloves/mittens 26. Christmas ornaments - I think I mentioned in my questionnaire that I like somewhat bizarre ornaments. I'm not going to be putting up a tree this year, though. 27. Hello Kitty is cute and I liked her when I was little. Accessory-wise, I wouldn't wear anything Hello Kitty, but something that I can decorate my work desk with would be ok. 28. I think a cooking class would be fun. With no financial restrictions, let's just say a cooking class in Italy. 29. Poetry - I enjoy some poets, like Keats, Poe, Coleridge, Dickenson (all those high school english classes!), but I don't find myself picking up books of poetry. I do like when jewelry or other accessories incorporate some poetry. 30. Disney - I like the Aristocats and Winnie the Pooh. Like the Hello Kitty, I wouldn't wear anything with the characters. 31. How do you feel about cute things as decorations or accessories? (Example: Would you enjoy this stationery - or do you prefer elegant/creepy/neutral stuff?) Oh my gosh, those are some fat birds on the stationery. I LOVE FAT BIRDS. I also like fat cats and chubby panda bears. Squishy animals are fantastic (and yes, I squeeze my chunky cat King Louie!) Since this is the Halloween SW, I also like the creepy stuff. 32. Something I'd really like to receive from my witch - As my 1st SW, I don't have any expectations. Anything will make me happy. But witch - if you don't send at least one cat-related item, I will be somewhat disappointed! 33. Music shuffle - My amazon music played: Foundations by Kate Nash Counting Stars by One republic Samson by Regina Spektor Don't Look Back in Anger by Oasis Don't Shut Em Down by Flogging Molly Howl by Florence and the Machine (and I had to stop the shuffling and listen because I LOVE this one so much) Borrowed Time by A Fine Frenzy Sleep to Dream by Fiona Apple Kiss You to Death by Alkaline Trio Come Pick Me Up by Ryan Adams 34. Tarot/runes/divination - Nah, I don't really use this 35. Celeb crushes - I do like Matt Damon, but please no posters or anything! 36. Glitter - I like it as long as it's stuck to something, and not my face - no glittery eyeshadow or lip stuff. Glitter nail polish is fine. 37. Time periods - 1930s - 1940s. I have so much respect for the ladies who just got stuff DONE then. Figured out how to feed their families, got jobs during the war and all while looking stylish. I'd like to think that I've inherited some of the strength of both my grandmothers who had some trying times then, but pulled through. 38. Quotes - I never remember quotes! 39. Book formats - Real books. I do have a kindle, but use it more for movies & music than books. 40. Smut - No 41. Ebooks - I'd prefer books, used are fine. 42. Custom perfume - I need to sniff more BPAL to find out what I like before I get a custom blend! 43. Photography - Landscape, flowers. If it includes purple colors, I can easily find a home for it. 44. Favorite Halloween animal/decoration - Tough one, so many of the classic movie monsters are my favorites. Dracula, the Mummy, Frankenstein, and of course, witches & black cats! One of my favorite decorations is a witch figurine, she rotates, her eyes flash, and plays creepy music. 45. I'm set with most makeup. Nail polish is good, never tried nail wraps. I use lip stains/balms more than any lipsticks and go with more natural colors, no bright pinks or reds. 46. Profanity is fine, especially if it's funny. Off-color humor is sometimes ok, I just don't like when jokes become mean-spirited. I like to laugh with, not at. 47. My hair is way too short for hairsticks. 48. No larping. 49. I will not eat anything buggy! While I like breakfast bacon and BLTs, I don't really get the bacon craze with chocolate, candy, etc. 50. I expressed my concerns with canning above. Also, it's still really hot here and anything my witch sends will sit in my mailbox all day until I get off work, so I worry what the heat may do to jammy goodness. 51. Nail polish - Usually I use Ulta brand or OPI, sometimes Essie. butter London chips instantly on me. Glitter is ok, but no sands or textures. 52. Halloween plushie yes! 53. Japanese items - I'd like to try the green tea kitkats or other fancy kitkats. 54. GC scents - My imp of Fae is almost empty, but I'm saving my money for weenies. 55. Lush - Never heard of them, but their bath bombs look neat. The avocado one is interesting. 56. Getaways - I'd love to take a trip, but am saving my vacation days for Christmas. 57. T-shirts - size large, crew neck or v necks. Lightweight fabrics are good, but not so lightweight that bras are visible! 58. thinkgeek - some of the grumpy cat stuff is cute 59. zombies - Yes! 60. Arm warmers - I actually have a few on my etsy wishlist, if you want to get an idea of the styles I like. The AC is always full blast at work, so I'd appreciate some just below the wrist, maybe to the elbow. 61. Affinity with certain animals - 62. Paintbox soapworks - Haven't tried anything from them, but would like to. Sorbettos and lotions look nice. Scents like Punkie night and gingermilk might be yummy. 63. I don't think I'm ok with someone showing up unannounced. I like to have warning time to frantically clean when I have company. Also, my cat Zelda gets very growly when someone unknown is at the front door (sorry UPS guy!) She's a good little watchcat. 64. No ravelry. I'm just a beginner with quilting/sewing. 65. Sock dreams - haven't ordered anything from them. Short socks are more my style, especially the ankle ones. I never wear long, up to the knee socks. 66. Knitted items - dishcloths would be nice, no real preference for fabrics. I've got some reds in my kitchen. 67. Amazon WL - I don't think it is, but I haven't linked to it, so no worries witch. 68. Raw cream caramels - I would prefer pasteurized. 69. Incense - I don't use incense. I really don't do candles either. My SIL sold scentsy for a bit, so I have a warmer and some scents - rarely use it though. 70. Kitchen spices - a few years ago, I found this chai tea spice mixed with sugar and it was delicious. Wouldn't you know, I can't find it anywhere! I do like general spice mixes and usually make my own taco seasoning. If you've got something tasty, I'll try it! 71. Handmade stationery & cards - I don't write many letters, but I do send cards sometimes. I wouldn't use a quill pen 72. scale of 1-10 heat - Hmm, the hottest I like is jalapeno flavored stuff, so maybe 3 or 4? A restaurant here has a spicy chicken sandwich with chipotle mayo, pepper jack cheese, and sliced jalapenos - I eat it and love it, but it does make me cry! 73. Favorite Halloween candy - If there is chocolate, I'm in! I like twix, milky way dark, payday, junior mints, raisinettes, mounds, m&ms. Candy corn is a winner for me, just not the kind with the brown stripe. And I love the mallowcream pumpkins, but just can't bring myself to buy a whole bag - way too much sugar! 74. Cozy footwear - I have enough slippers, but slipper socks would be nice. The kind with the grippy dots would probably be best, I'm prone to slipping on my wood floors. 75. what do you look forward to most about fall - I like the clothes - sweaters, dresses with tights and boots, hoodies, puffy vests for the really chilly days. Once October starts I begin to scare myself silly by watching spooky movies and reading ghost stories. The baking gets yummier with pumpkin, apple, cinnamony warm desserts. I also drink gallons of apple cider. 76. My kindle and phone both have cases. If I change them, I won't be able to find them. 77. beauty accessories - I have makeup brushes out the wazoo. I'm interested in trying a glass nail file. 78. If a giant box arrived this week and I had no other communication from my witch for the rest of the SW season, I might be a wee bit disappointed. Sending one box is absolutely fine if witch still checks in and says hello. 79. Halloween PJs - PJ shorts are better for me. I'm tall and pretty much all PJ pants are too short on me! Size large, and I do like old navy's PJ shorts. 80. M&Ms - Yes, but only milk or dark chocolate. Peanut, pretzel, peanut butter are good, but I'm scared of the seasonal flavored ones. 81. Wax melts - not really 82. Streaming music - I use amazon prime's free music and free pandora, so I don't need any gift subscriptions. 83. Lilith BDay scents - I"m holding off on placing an order until weenies come out. Depending on how many of those I want, I may get one Lilith. I'd like to try Amicitia, Blueberry Picking, Mermaid, and Venustas. 84. Sugar skull cubes - These are cute 85. Skin care - I wash with indigo wild's facial cleanser or, on lazy days, with some kind of Yes to cucumber/blueberry/grapefruit wipes. I moisturize with a night cream (whatever is on sale at Ulta usually). I think I covered body lotions somewhere here before. I like lip balms (in sticks or tubes, not really pots). 86. Salem souvenirs - OOOH! I'd love to go to Salem, and anything touristy would be fun - keychains, magnets, coasters. 87. Would you be interested in any of the items in LisaNut's etsy shop? - That little mini witch hat is very cute. 88. Spiders (cute knit kind) - Sure, but just know that they would become cat toys whether I like it or not. 89. Decorative pillows - A couple of months ago I found an epic pillow clearance sale and may have gone overboard. I can't say no to a 4 dollar pillow apparently. 90. Any kind of bags - big, small, medium, purse, grocery, etc? Not really. 91. Is there anything special coming up in your life? No big plans here, other than a visit from my mom in October. 92. One scent from Metamorphosis: Eastern Coma Lilith: Amicitia GC: Highwayman 93. NYCC? - Don 't know what they have there 94. Tokyo Game Show - Also don't know what this is, the nerd is stronger in my husband than in me 95. Would you enjoy any of these couple rings? Or anything from the same store's Halloween collection? Not the couple's rings, but some of the cuffs are cute - the hocus pocus one, the Harry Potter "mischief managed" and "I solemnly swear..." 96. I'm not a big drinker, and I rarely mix my own drinks. 97. Flavored sugar cubes - Maybe a few to try. I usually don't sugar my tea & coffee, though. 98. Jamberry nails - Some of the Halloween ones are very cute, the little Frankstein, the jack o'lantern 99. If you had to choose one currently available book (used-but-obtainable counts if you do used) costing $20 or under for your Witch to buy for you, what would it be? Hmm, there is one that's actually $22 on amazon, but it does have some cheaper used prices - The Nutshell Studies of Unexplained Death 100. Are there five things under $25 at Birchbox you would like? Wild Honey Apothecary Pumpkin Cocoa Mud Skyn Iceland Icelandic relief eye pen Blowpro Blow Up Thickening Mist Stila Eye Shadow in Kitten Benefit They're Real mascara 101. Do you want anything from the Fatherhood update at the Post? Ooooh, New Orleans scents! Captain Lilith and her First Mate, Mornings in New Orleans, and Pralines & Powdered Sugar sound lovely. 102. Street art! Into it? Not into it? Meh? I like it 103. If you could only pick one note that you love (e.g. Vanilla, Orange, Lavender, Rose) & you could only wear/have perfume, etc in that note, what would it be? I have NO clue. I've never tried any single notes, so this is a tough question for me! 104. NYCC exclusives: The Gas Lamps' Flare, maybe.
