Le Jour des Morts is a scent of remembrance, a blessing for those who have come before us. It is a bittersweet incense with red roses, climbing ivy, black hellebore, black dahlias, and a drop of red wine. Le Jour des morts est un parfum de souvenir, une bénédiction pour ceux qui nous ont précédés. C'est un encens aigre-doux avec des roses rouges, du lierre grimpant, de l'hellébore noir, des dahlias noirs et une goutte de vin rouge. Inky black incense, drop of roses and ivy. I actually get a fair amount of dark incensey florals on top of all of this. Good throw and wear length.

Lavender, hint of fruit (plum, I think), and lotus... as I get the dreaded bubblegum note. I think there might be some cedarwood and potentially some myrrh in it, as it has a somewhat resinous grounding in the drydown. It's a little too sweet, a little too fruity. Interesting, but not for me.

An incense of candied smoked fruits, Oman frankincense, red oud, labdanum absolute, sheer vanilla, patchouli, red musk seed, osmanthus, and datura accord.

Honey-sweet and thick with blood: red roses and honey, a throb of red musk, bitter neroli and clove husk all staining a slash of sheet-white vanilla sandalwood.

Louis Gauffier Lebanese cedar, chamomile, frankincense, and cinnamon. This starts of as cedar, and frankincense with a whiff of cinnamon. As it dries, the chamomile comes out, and its a chamomile-cedar blend, with hints of resin. Medium throw and wear length. This one is sort of manly to me.

An incense for Solstice rites: fir resin, bayberry, myrrh, mistletoe, and oak bark.

East African black patchouli, lilac, lavender, Italian neroli, King mandarin, Terebinth pine, and star anise. This is such an interesting patchouli blend On wet, its mainly lavender, lilac and citrus (from the neroli and mandarin). And as it dries, the patchouli comes out... and it dries to a citrusy patchouli blend. I'd recommend this to anyone who was afraid of patchouli. It's citrusy, light and clean.
