    Dia

Imp: I really don't know what it is I'm smelling here. Something very light with maybe a tiny bit of coconut. Wet: Wow, completely different. I can see where all the dryer sheet comments are coming from, though that's not as strong on me as it seems to be for others. I'm not sure on exact notes, but there's something citrus alongside something that's more creamy. It's very pretty and feminine to me. Dry: On dry-down the tobacco flower really starts coming out. It's not as "pretty" anymore, and it's a touch more dryer sheet. Verdict: The wet stage is very lovely. If it had stayed at that, I would really like it. Dry isn't bad, but it's a shame it didn't stay at the nice "pretty" stage. 3/5 [EDIT - Wow, my mother just informed me I smell like mold. So yeah, I'm gonna pass on this one.]

    Eustephanos

Imp: Maybe a little pomegranate? Maybe a little flowery? I'm not really sure. Wet: Why, hello rose! Do you really need to be shouting that much? You know, I love things that make me cough like crazy. Dry: OK, the rose has died down a little, thankfully. Occasionally there's a bit of pomegranate, a bit of myrrh. But it's still very much all about the rose. Verdict: I'm not sure why I thought this would work. Maybe I thought the other notes would keep the rose down. If you like rose, this is definitely for you. I, on the other hand, am going to have to pass. 1/5

    Swank

Short and sweet on this one! Bottle->Dry: Crisp, sparkly, bubbly pomegranate. Verdict: 5/5

    Candy Phoenix

Bottle: Pomegranate candy! Do they make pomegranate candy? Because that would be awesome. Wet: On, it's a little bit more grape than pomegranate, and a little more fizzy than sugar. Little bit of apple in there, too! Dry: The sugar and pomegranate are back, mixed with the fizzy grape/apple. The sugar isn't sickly sweet, thanks to the tartness of the pomegranate. Verdict: It's so peppy and bright! Not something I'd normally think of as "me" but the pomegranate is enough to stop it from being too HI PINK!~ I think it'd be good for days I'm feeling particularly girly. Definitely getting a bottle! 5/5

    Beaver Moon 2005

This is for Beaver'Versary! Bottle: Mmm cheesecake. (I feel should say, I don't actually like cheesecake. But! I do love how it smells!) Mmmmmm. *gets high off imp* *coughs* Anyways. Wet: Not quite cheesecake, but definitely foody. I think it's more the cupcake side, with a little bit of strawberry. Dry: Hrm. I generally don't get a plastic note with vanilla/foody scents, but there's a bit of it here while drying. And my skin seems to be devouring it. Verdict: So, all said and done, it's... um. Actually it smells like a very faint version of Eat Me. Which is great! I love Eat Me! It's one of top ten! It's just... well, I was expecting more, I guess. But! If you love Eat Me, you will definitely like this! 4/5 (<-- Basically Eat Me's 5/5 minus a point for my skin eating it.)

    Badger

Bottle: Warm and earthy, cedar and roots and earth. Very earth elemental scent. Wet: Still warm but a bit more dirt and less cedar. There's also something a little spicy, though it's not a strong note. Dry: On the plus side, everything has blended together really nicely into an lovely earthy myrrh. But on the minus, the throw has faded a lot, now just staying really close to my skin. Verdict: Man, I wish this hadn't faded so much, because it's a really lovely scent. Very comforting and warm and (have I mentioned?) earthy. 4/5

    Eden

Bottle: My first thought upon sniffing this was "Wow! Christmas wreath!" I have no idea where that came from, as the impression instantaneously went away, but yeah. What it does smell like is a lovely combination of honey and fig. It's warm and lovely, I can only hope it stays this way on my skin. Wet: Mmmm. Very warm and sweet, fig with coconut, almonds, and a bit of honey. Smells like something that would be lovely to drink. Dry: Once in a while, while drying, it juuuuust toes the line of turning plastic, but never actually does it, thankfully. Everything's blended together so nicely now, it's hard to pick out individual notes besides the fig. Verdict: Beyond the initial reaction, I'm not getting any of the green that everyone was mentioning. It is, however, a very lovely scent that I will definitely be keeping and likely getting more of. 4/5

    Aziraphale

Bottle: Very woody in the imp, a light cedar/pine smell. Wet: Still a little bit of the cedar, but it's mostly a musky paper scent, like an old book. There's something a bit aquatic there too, which I hope will behave itself, but it's nothing prominent. Dry: The aquatic note has thankfully disappeared. The wood scent is stronger again, cedar without being overpoweringly woodchips - the dusty musky paper scent's helping with that. Verdict: A man would do well wearing this, I think, but it's not overtly masculine. It's not something I can see myself getting more of, but it's a nice calming and pleasant scent so I'll keep what I have. 3/5

    Ladon

Bottle: Straight up apple cider. Wet: Hm. There's a bit of red apple in there, but mostly what I'm getting is something sweet and powdery floral. I haven't tried Dragon's Blood on it's own, so I'm not sure if that's what I'm getting or if it's the hyacinth. Dry: Now it's all sweet powdery floral. Why's the rum apple gone? Verdict: Man this is so not the scent I was expecting. I thought I'd love this since I love apples, but the Dragon's Blood and hyacinth totally kill the apples on my skin. Stupid chemistry. 2/5

    The Head of Holofernes

Bottle: Wine and pomegranate, but a candy sort of wine and pomegranate. Wet: Grape cough syrup. Er. Not exactly what I was going for here... Dry: Okay, it's a little bit more wine than cough syrup once it's dry. Still very grape, though. Verdict: Meh. I was hoping more for pomegranate and blood, not grape wine. This is doing nothing for me. 2/5

    Butter Rum Cookie

Bottle: Butterscotch and rum. Wet: Almond and rum, and a little bit of cinnamon. Me likey. Dry: Oh yum, I love this. Like a warm and spicy oatmeal cookie. That I could get drunk off of. Verdict: Love it! It becomes less rum and more cookie the longer it's on, which is probably a good thing. Might like it even more than Sugar Cookies! Definitely need more! 5/5

    Sugar Cookie

2008 Bottle: This has the same gag-worthy first reaction that Mr. Nancy gave me. I'm all about foody scents, but in the bottle it's so buttery and sweet Wet: Aaah, much better. I'm reconsidering my decision to stick with my diet by not buying sugar cookies this year because man, does this ever make me want to have some. (Also, my mother, who response to BPAL is usually "...it smells like perfume," actually said "yeah, I can see that being sugar cookies.") Dry: Doesn't morph much, still yummy sugar cookies. Verdict: Love it! 5/5

    Gelt

In the Bottle: Not chocolate coins, as much as brownies or hot chocolate mix. Not what I was expecting, but yummy! Wet: Wow, hello hazzlenut! To the point that I can only barely smell the chocolate peaking out behind it. Dry: The hazzlent, somehow, grows stronger, though there's a tiny bit of cocoa still remaining. Yet to remind me of chocolate coins, I have to say. Verdict: So not remotely like what I expected this to smell like. However! What it does smell like is good, so I'll definitely keep! 4/5

Lick It Like You Mean It

Never tried one of the Lick Its before! In the Bottle: Candy cane! Very strong sugar and peppermint. Wet: The peppermint is a LOT stronger than it was in the bottle, but the sugar is there behind it. Less candy, but not straight up mint. Dry: Er... other than maybe a hint of sugar, this is GONE in less than an hour. Verdict: Damn shame that my skin totally ate this up. Nice for the minute or so that it lasted. 2/5

    Agnes Nutter

In the Bottle: A smokey campfire in a bottle. With something a little metallic and something a little sweet underneath. Wet: Smoke! Lots of smoke! Nothing but smoke! And did I mention smoke? Dry: And we're back to a campfire. Though it's kinda like, half gunpowder half campfire. Verdict: It's a perfect scent, in that it does exactly what it says on the tin. But having said that, I'm not entirely sure I want to smell like a really nice campfire. It's a nice scent! Just not for me. 3/5
