    Fire Phoenix

in vial: warm, smells a lot like buttered popcorn and herbs. Interesting. wet: mmm. warm and lemony. Buttered popcorn still and lemons. Interesting combo. This is turning out to be almost pure lemon candy. dry: Yep, lemon candy perfume.

That! The Terror From Over There!

in vial: fresh, sweet, light, exquisite! wet: Oh! so lovely. Don't know that I have smelled anything like this one before. I smell green but more like a green floral than harsh greens. The kiwi is noticed, light and fresh. This is just a really lovely, unusual scent. So glad I tried it. The notes sounded scary to me. Dry: This gets lighter but does not change much. Still very lovely and to my nose similar to 51.

    Spawn of the She-Demon

in vial:darkly rich and sweet wet: this one has depth. its strong and dark but sweet. to me this is more something my male counterpart would wear and its very good. dry: tones down a little but the rich sweetness is still evident. Not as dark. Reminds me more of dark berries. I did not get mango from this and nothing that reminded me of tea, but it is still good and yes, a bit sexy..

    O

in vial; first thing I smell is the honey-sticky and sweet wet Yes, this is sticky sweet. Smells a little like chocolate dancing around somewhere. This smell similar to snake oil but I think sweeter and more feminine. Although there is a hint of dark sticky sweetness to this blend dry: still that dark and sticky sweet that I attribute to the honey and darkness from the amber. Beware!

    Kiyohime Changes From a Serpent

in vial: sweet and mellow, fresh wet: very nice. lightly aquatic blended with fresh, green melons. As it drys it smells more like water and fresh flowers. dry: this drys down to something more like a bouquet of flowers and not so much aquatic. It is pretty, soft and a bit innocent.

I Fell in Love with a Floating Brain

n vial: sweet, foody, candy-ish wet: smells like vanilla cake with a hint orange rind. Now it is morphing into something that smells more like gingerbread. dry: drys fast and the verdict is gingerbread! with a hint of lemon in the background. Just when I had decided and thought it was finished, it changes again and this time it smells like the promised strawberry cream.

    Smokestack

in vial strong. smells like the usual bpal strong blends. Dark and spicey. wet: even stronger, getting a tiny bit sweeter which helps to balance out the harsh spicey-ness.

    Night Thoughts

in vial: sharp floral but not overly strong. wet: a little milder but still pungent with out being strong. Smells a little mature. A nice neutral scent. dry:this is a soft, nice scent.

    Belle Vinu

in vial: the scent of fresh outdoor blooms. Light and softly sweet wet: sweet and fresh still with a hint of wood. Becoming a tiny bit sweeter with a hint of lemon and fresh fruits. There is a bit of greeness to this that is a tiny bit pungent. Overall getting stronger. Dry: Much calmer now pungent green is still there but not overwhelming. The hint of lemon is peeking through and now I smell peach, lovely fresh peach. That is a good word to describ this blend in general - Lovely.

    Eclipse

in vial: strong almond all the way (some people might equate the scent with cherries). wet: still strong almond. As it dries a little, smells like almond cookies, but not super sweet. A little along the lines of dana 'o shee. This is becoming sweeter and less smelling like cookies, just really nice and soft. I think it is the heliotrope. A little later it is becoming powdery. dry: stays powdery, its not bad but powdery is not for me. Edited to add: I never did smell the cinnamon or the frank but upon last sniff this imparts a lovely, soft, warm golden vanilla that reminds me of glowing skin. I really like the drydown on this, but you have to wait a bit for it.

    Nowhere in Particular

in vial: sharp green grass wet: still green grass with light florals. very "fresh". This is a little sharp. Almost like the grassiness is poking you! dry: this perfume has faded and it has been less than an hour. I am not sure if it is my skin chemistry or the nature of the perfume.

    Snow Bunny

2008 version in vial: very soft and light, not sure the specifics of what I am smelling. wet: for sure bpal's snow note is the strongest and first thing I smell, which lends itself to coolness without using mint which I hear some people hate but always one of my faves ...after a few minutes. I"m not really smelling the girlie perfume its all snow and strong! Dry: Now I'm finally getting the hint of a light perfume. The snow note has faded some, not much, and is now blended with soft perfume. This is certainly not bad but I don't really see what all the fuss is about and why bids for this were so high on ebay. Each to his own.

    Perchta

vial: I smells bpal's snow note, musk and something dirty. wet: smells coloney, with a sweet foody-ness in the background and of course the snow note is stronger. I smell the soapy sweetness of the aconite. At this point all of the notes are well balanced. dry: this blend stays strong and to me has a background scent of honey lingering behind the rest of the notes even though honey is not mentioned in the notes. This blend is of medium strength all the way around. Notes are still balanced and blended nicely.

    The Black Swan

in vial: grassy, perfumey wet: green floral dry: i think this has gotten stronger, yet is a soft powdery scent. it makes me think of a black swan gliding over moonlit water, just like the picture. I would say dead on scent for an olfactory description.

    Mad Sweeney

in vial : a little strange wet: whoa! bitter and peppery with a hint of something sweet. dry: smells like something burning with a spicey sasoning. lingering in the background is still the hint of sweetness.

    Faeu Boulanger

in vial: sweet and fresh florals wet: green florals, a little fruity but not citrus dry: this is still very green floral. sweet. has not changed much since the 'wet' stage.

    Butter Rum Cookie

I wore this to work the first day I got it to try it out. Two people said "someone smells like gingerbread". Truly this scent does smell like home baked cookies. One person said all I needed was an apron and the picture would be complete. Now for my personal view on the fragrance. It is very strong, a bit boozy, which I expected. Something I did not expect was the smokey scent that appears as it is drying down. This is not as foody as other bpal scents and does lend itself more to cologne/perfume than some of the other bpal foody blends. While this is not for me I do see many people loving this.

    Marie

A blend of sinuous violet and elegant tea rose: the chosen scent of France’s Demigoddess of Debauch: Marie Antoinette. in vial: roses wet: still roses. dry: rose amps on me so loudly it is difficult for me to distinguish any other notes.
