    Mad Hatter

A gentlemen's lavender-citron cologne unhinged by the feral pungence of black musk and a paroxysm of pennyroyal. On me this smells of mint and clean laundry and vanilla. It's surprisingly comforting and wearable. I thought for sure I wasn't going to like this one based on the description but this is surprise love.

    October

I have an imp of the 2007 version and I just received a bottle of the 2011 version. Both are extreme love, I've been hoarding my imp of 2007 all these years in hopes that I would be able to get more one day. It's October in New York here right now and I can firmly say that this perfume captures it extremely well. The 2007 version seems to have a little better staying power than the 2011, but the 2011 has a much nicer initial spicy smokiness that I don't remember the 2007 having right off the bat. I can't wait to see how it ages.

The Glittering Apple Of The Stars

This is sooo beautiful! It starts out all crisp, juicy, fresh sliced apple. As it drys it loses the crisp edge and becomes a beautiful sweet apple laced with vanilla. There is just a touch a musk in the background. I want bathe in this.

    Opium Poppy

I will admit, I never put this one on my skin. I wasn't brave enough. I took the cap off the imp and was immediately assaulted with "holy crap, this smells like a barnyard." A few seconds later my husband turned to me and said, "What smells like cow shit?" I put the cap back on and sent it on to someone who would appreciate it more.

    CCNow Questions & Problems

Anyone ever have this happen? My bpal transaction (ccnow) posted to my bank account today. Yay, right? Except that it is showing a second 'placeholder' transaction for the exact same amount, which will overdraw my account if it actually goes through. I'm afraid that I am going to be double charged for my order. -Edit- Well, I'm not sure what happened. The second placeholder stayed on my account for a few days and then disappeared. My bank actually sent me an overdraw notice, but when I went on my account it never actually overdrew. In any case, it all seems like it has worked itself out.

    What Scent Is This?

Song of Selune? It's a TAL. That is probably it! I never even thought to look there. Thank you!

    What Scent Is This?

About 4 years ago I was gifted a set of imps and one of them came with a hand written label that said, Song of, and then a word that begins with S and ends in e. I've never been able to figure out what it was. Any ideas?

    Twilight

This is almost unbearably intense. It's a floral punch in the face and I had to wash it off almost as soon as I put it on because it sent me running for my inhaler.

    Coyote

Coyote and I have loved each other for years. It's all dry, warm, dusty sunshine and grasses on me with just a touch of woods. It is such a happy, contented scent. After a few years aging in my cupboard my bottle has grown, if anything, more evocative. It's gotten softer and sits closer to the skin, but the sweet dry grass and warm sunshine smell makes me smile even on the yuckiest of days.

    Oneiroi

Created to invoke the ancient Greek deities of dreams. On the shores of the ocean, somewhere in the West, they dwell behind their gates of horn and ivory. Soporific, dark, and unfathomable: a somnambular blend of deep lavender, white sandalwood, jasmine, bergamot and mugwort. This smells exactly like Irish Spring soap on my skin. Weird! It's really actually starting to bother me, I haven't tested one that I had to wash off in a while, but this one can't stay.
