❤️    As some of you know, I moved in October back to Sea area but I'm still not unpacked because reasons so I don't have any idea where my card making stuff is at.   (and I'm not planning on unpacking until partner and his soon-to-be-ex-wife have divorce finalized and sell house and we move again.  TMI.)   

So I will just watch from afar!

I'd be willing to cohost Krampus but I'm moving this week and trying to pack and still go to appointments .. unless it's ok if I put it up next week or the week after.  Getting late, I know.

I don't have any planned.  Things are too crazy here.  

This smells similar to the original to me (I find Goblin to be closer to Banshee Beat / Revenant Rhythm) but doesn't yet have the depth that patchouli gets from aging.  Will set aside for a year or so!

Maybe my nose is broken because this smells very similar to the original to me, but not aged into lovely deep richness that I remember my last bottle of OLoP being.   I am thinking it will age wonderfully.

Apologies for my massive brain fog which doesn't let me use the words but I really like this one and might need a back up bottle before they come down.   (I can't remember what the OG Dorian smelled like on me (I destashed it years ago) and don't have any of the new Dorian.)

This smells fantastic in the bottle and wet on my skin, but the dry down morphs into something that smells not great with my skin chemistry.  boo.  

I also get some kind of spice to this, I keep checking the notes each time I open the bottle to sniff it, sure that there must be cardamom in it.  That's really all I can smell, is cardamom.    (new version, not the original.)

I'm not getting leather at all.  I don't love caramel in perfume and luckily that is not very noticeable either, if there at all on me.    

I wish it would last longer on my skin but maybe I'll scent locket it!

I loved it. This was the first imp that I've used completely. I wore it every night to bed and sprinkled some on my pillows.

I have gone through maybe two bottles of Baku? 

Just purchased a new bottle and still lavender.  Maybe a hint of anise.  I stick a reducer cap on and sprinkle on my pillow at night.

On sniffing in bottle I get mostly what I assume is the helichrysum with a hint of ylang on the exhale.  I can not detect the geranium.  I bought it for the ylang and geranium, sad face.  

Not a lot of throw on me and doesn't stick around.

When I sniff this in the bottle, it's mostly lavender to me.  I was hoping for more patch and ylang ylang.    It is a VERY nice lavender with a hint of ylang.

Doesn't last on my skin though -- this will be a "apply directly to pillow" or scent locket type for me.

I haven't tried this one yet, but it smells delightful in the bottle - heavy on the mint with a hint of eucalyptus.

This one is all HELLO PALMAROSA on me.  I can smell nothing else, not even in the bottle.  It sticks around for HOURS and HOURS.  The longest lasting and has the most throw of the Con Survival blends I got this time.  

I should have read reviews first!

I was hoping for more clove and tobacco and resins and smoke, but I'm getting mostly the Amontillado (wine.)  I can barely detect a hint of rose on the exhale.  It's lovely but it isn't what I was expecting or hoping for. 

Off to the aging box for you, we'll see you again in six months or a year.

I had to go find the URL.  I only have 29 people subscribed, it caps at 500 (lol) so plenty of room.  I ONLY send out email when a new swap is posted in the forum or to alert of an upcoming swap like Switch Witch.

Also, about 10 or so years ago Heart was part of a Garden Botanika line of scents called "Transparencies". There was another fragrance in the line that I really loved called "Soul". It was the yellow fragrance. Unfortunately it has been long discontinued but all I really remember is that it smelled very spring/summer. I saw someone on another page say that it is similar to Dior Dune, but I have never smelled that before. Dune is described as "oceanic, floral mixture of lily and broom top notes, wallflower and peony middle notes and amber and lichen base notes." If anyone remembers Soul or knows of something BPAL that might smell similar to it that would be great too!

So this thread was forever ago, but supposedly the fragrance notes for Soul are "Soul: A refreshing flash of light. This scent is fragrant with wild lilies, mountain violets, and a twist of mandarin orange."  Interesting that people say it smelled like Dune, because I love Dune and Soul is the only Transparency I purchased.   They both have Mandarin and Lily notes, I guess?  Dune is "Top notes are Brazilian Rosewood, Aldehydes, Mandarin Orange, Bergamot and Peony; middle notes are Lily, Ylang-Ylang, Wallflower, Jasmine and Rose; base notes are Amber, Sandalwood, Benzoin, Oakmoss, Vanilla, Patchouli and Musk."

(And Heart is still sold by Garden Botanika on Amazon.  It's their ONLY PRODUCT they still sell!  It's fragrance notes are "Powder-soft blend of gardenias, jasmine and roses blended with orange, cedar and cardamom and deepened with a hint of warm musk".)

Sorry, I got sick before Wolfenoot and am still not totally recovered.  (Not covid, just a cold.  this is one of the reasons I still mask everywhere and I'm very grumpy at my son's friend for bringing it over.  chronic respiratory isn't something to f around with, damn it.)   So, yeah, I haven't had the spoons to plan anything.  

This blend is really sweet but not horribly foody.  It didn't seem very amber-y or musk-y to me, but I liked it and kept huffing my wrist.
