This started out as almonds on me. All I could smell were sweet almonds at first, which soon turned bitter. This perfume is dark and sexy, something to wear out on the prowl. After several hours the mix of almonds and spice turned very much into a powdery incense. It wasn't headshop calibre or anything, I just smelled like I had dabbled myrrh on myself over some talc. I think my hormones may have affected this one, and I will try it again some other time of the month. I really liked this scent though, it made me think of brown velvets and the like.

Strong Grapefruit upon opening the bottle, followed by a bitter orange smell. I really liked this one right away. The strong citrus was very fresh smelling, not too sweet. This dried down to something very sophisticated. The citrus faded a bit and stopped overpowering the scent. Sometime in the middle of the day I think it was a bit old lady, in that it was a touch musky, though still very sophisticated. I felt too young to wear it. Now (7.5 hours later) a touch of sweetness has come out to eliminate the old-lady feeling. I really like this scent and would certainly keep the imp. Further testing will be needed to see just how much I like it. With how much it changed throughout the day, I imagine this one to be skittish. It reminds me of So Pink from the Gap.

This was the single most disgusting thing I have ever smelled. It was ridiculously strong and industrial smelling, like chemicals used in some sort of process with metal. I tried to wait it out and see if the oil changed on my skin, but no, it just continued to make me gag. And it was STRONG. I desperately tried to wash it off several times. I only succeeded in spreading the smell all over my hands. This junk lasted for hours. I did not like it at all.

In the bottle this smelled very minty, which got me excited, because I wasn't expecting a crisp smell at all. I tried to slather it on, in my excitement, but the oil itself was very light and thin. I'm surprised how long the scent has lasted: nine hours thus far. Once on, Black Cat became one of the most beautiful smells. There is a rose note, but on me it is very subdued, some spiciness, but the mintiness has gone away. I've certainly very peppy today, hoping around pretty joyous. I believe I can be quoted as saying, "Isn't the earth's bounty awesome? I mean an egg is just the perfect bit of reproduction." If that isn't joy, I don't really know what is. I can't speak to the hexes and whatnot, but my boss was pretty nice to me today. On a side note, I'm going to get my cards read tonight! Woohoo

This scent was ordered as an afterthought, and now I'm glad I got it! I think it smells fantastic. I keep smelling some yummy vanilla custard like smell and realize it is me as I turn my head. In the bottle the rum/alcohol scent is pretty strong. I've never had eggnog, but this seems pretty dead on to how I would expect it to smell. As it dried down on my skin the rum faded away and I'm left smelling mostly creaminess, but the nutmeg and a note of something like cinnamon comes out. It is very foody, spicy, but it doesn't make me want to gnaw off my wrist like some of the other foody scents. Interestingly enough, my skin makes this something similar to Snow White after I've worn that for a few hours.

At first this was really promising, very lemony and bright. Seconds later I began to get a dirty water smell that never went away. This scent ended up being the water left in the bucket after mopping the floor with a lemony cleaner.

I don't know if this has already been addressed in this thread. I couldn't find it, so... I was wondering if there were any bpal scents similar to Therapy. I used some today after my shower and it smelled so good, I didn't want to put on a clashing scent, so I :gasp: skipped the bpal today.

I opened this bottle and thought to myself - ooh this smells of Keflex. Keflex is that antibiotic that is thick and pink and bubblegum flavored. It was an overwhelming powdery pink bubblegum scent. As soon as it touched my skin the medicinal smell started to fade, and strong pink bubblegum was still prevalent. Five hours later - the scent is really delicate. I can smell the gardenia most strongly. It is lightly sweet, like little girls. It makes me think of glass vases, the kind that are tall and filled with colored glass. I don't know why that is, or how that could be helpful to anyone. This is a totally feminine scent. I don't know if I would necessarily add this to my collection, but I'm sad that I don't have that option anyway.

Well, in the bottle this smelled very dark and as if it had some woody herbal thing going on - not in a wet forest way, but in a furniture makers studio sort of way. I slathered it on, and at first it was quite lovely. There was a touch of an incensy smell there, but that may just have been the woody darkness It made me think of far off travels, reminded me of Thai markets, New Orleans and monastaries. It just put me in a traveling frame of mind - thinking of far off things. I was digging it for the first few hours Unfortunately at some point during the day I started catching whiffs of something chemical smelling I couldn't quite place. When I smelled my skin directly I didn't get it, but if I turned quickly I could smell, what I came to realize, was the smell of bug repelent. I will try this scent again, as I was liking it for the better part of the day. It might be better as a room scent, as I won't ruin it. I would say this is a great scent for days I want to plan an exotic trip
