Is there something (either a specific item, or type of item, like bath/body, perfume, candy etc) you're really looking forward to or hoping to get? Bath bombs and other bath products. This is the first time I've ever had a bath tub all to myself! And some new BPAL LE's to try that I have missed in the past two years (becoming a mom really turns your life upside down!)
What's something you want or look at, but always talk yourself out of buying (or for whatever reason never purchase)? Kate Spade office supplies! (I really don't need them!)
Are there any subscription/subscription style boxes you have an interest in? (This could be a very specific sub like sihaya or lootcrate or an idea/concept you're interested in without a specific company in mind, like "book related candles"). There are so many that I get overwhelmed. I really liked Scentbird, Birchbox and Sephora play but I always ended up canceling due to financial reasons. If there is a subscription box you think I'd like that I've never heard of, I'm open to anything!
Coffee or Tea? Both! I'm not a big black or green tea drinker though. I mostly like relaxing nighttime herbal teas.

1. I wonder what a potential witchee would think about being bombarded with PUMPKINS in various formats. Because my current obsession just may last long enough to be of use in spoiling.....but I know wouldn't be appreciated by everyone. Would you appreciate it?!? I like pumpkin stuff! As for food though, please don't send too much, the hubby and I are trying to watch our eating. We would love small amounts of things though. I am one of those BPAL-ers that can't do much with BPAL's pumpkin note though (the fake buttery popcorn problem). However, I have had very good luck with Blue Pumpkin Floss (the prototype V3) and BPTP Marshmallow Pumpkin
2. I currently have a CSA and my significant other is perpetually out of town for work, so I've been doing a lot of canning and baking with my vegetables. How do people feel about canned good (pickles, salsa, etc) and vegetal baked goods (squash bread, zucchini bread). Not so much with pickled goods/breads, but I'd love some sugar free jams.

Implacable Beautiful Tyrant Hair Gloss! I tried a decant of it a while back and fell HARD for the scent. I haven't gotten a full size bottle yet! I'd also love to try decants/samples of other hair gloss scents, like Fig and White Sandalwood, Coconut, Vanilla Bean and Tiare, and Amber and Patchouli.

I'm a medium roast kind of girl, though I do really like Starbucks blonde roast. Whole bean please! Since working at Sbux a few years ago I prefer grinding my own coffee
I love all kinds of tea but especially fruity ones. my favorites are Earl Grey (esp the starbucks one, since it has lavender buds in it!) Tazo Passion (hot!) and really any brand of Raspberry black teas.
6. Do you cook? Would kitchen accessories make you happy? I would adore a mandoline slicer or lemon zester grater.
7. How do people feel about creative endeavours? Would you like to receive one? Or supplies to make your own? What do you like? Drawings, stories, poems? I would love supplies/kits for crafting things! I really love embroidery/cross stitch, knitting and crocheting
8. What culture or country (doesn’t have to be modern) do you feel an innate connection with? What about it makes it special to you? Japan. I want to live there. if I wasn't tied down right now I would seriously consider moving there to teach english or something. I love their food, culture, religions, social customs, art/anime etc. I wouldn't even know where to start if you asked me what my favorite things are, just assume I love everything!

10. What do you find yourself doing for fun in your free time? What are your main hobbies and interests? Knitting tons, watching anime, cooking/baking, reading, sometimes writing, going for walks.
11. Table-top gaming? If yes, what kind, edition, etc? Gaming accessories you long for? My husband and I play Dungeons and Dragons. We would LOVE some RPG goblin squirts of atmo sprays. We already have Exotic Bazaar, but we need others!
12. DVD movies or games that you wish would magically appear in your hands? Can they be used, through Amazon? I've always wanted a DVD of Bjork's movie Dancer in the Dark.
13. What kind of snacks or candy from other countries/states would you like to try? EVERYTHING FROM JAPAN. I love seaweed snacks, rice crackers (esp. seaweed flavored and rice cracker peanuts) ANYTHING Lychee (seriously, I'm obsessed with lychee). One of my favorite Japanese candies are those Choco gummies, the fruit gummies covered in chocolate. Also, anything Japanese that is apple or peach flavored. (I have a Japanese food weakness!)
14. Do you have a favorite internet meme, character or pop culture fandom? not really. Fandom stuff really turns me off. I have friends that are so obsessed with Dr. Who that it has completely turned me off from ever watching it. To me it is not unique anymore when there are rabid fans that spend thousands of dollars they can't afford on a show's related paraphernalia, must quote Dr. Who daily, regardless if anyone around them gets the reference, and refuse to watch anything else. I'm sorry to those on here that are fans, I just hate those that get so obsessed with things that it interferes with normal life. For instance, I really loved watching Battlestar Gallactica, but I don't feel the need to plaster its logo all over me and quote it constantly. /rant

17. How important to you is regular contact / chatter with your witch? I'd like at least some contact. One time I got absolutely NO contact and it depressed me because I assumed I was going to get shafted. Once every two weeks or so, I think. That's what I do as a witch.

I've never tried nail wraps before. I'm not the biggest nail polish person and I don't like lip gloss. I'm mostly into eyeshadows, neutral matte (or matte-ish) lip colors and I love lip balm.
46. How do you feel about profanity and off-color humor? It's okay to an extent, as long as it has a purpose. For instance, I hate Family Guy because of its cheap shock value, whereas South Park tends to be more satirical.

Stick incense though, I've tried charcoal and it is a bit too high maintenance for me.

I would actually love a knitted sleeve for my new macbook pro. it is 13". I won't lie, I love a big box, but I won't be disappointed in whatever is easiest for my witch And it can be at any time!

I can never have enough PJ pants! I love them too big, so XL would be perfect I like both cotton and flannel, however I find that most flannel PJ's I've had run smaller and are more fitted (=LESS COMFY) than just cotton ones.

I also use cetaphil moisturizer (not the facial one, the thinner body lotion) at night and Olay sensitive skin sunscreen lotion during the day. I am TOTALLY open to trying alternatives!

I am playing a Drow Assassin that is rebelling against Lolth, and instead worshipping the Raven Queen. Thus, I need MORE RAVEN MOON because it smells exactly like I'd imagine the Raven Queen smelling. I also need some flat black or silver glass marble pieces for my shrouds. If all I got was a ton of lip balm from my witch, I would be ecstatic! I am obsessed with lip balm. However I don't really like MyLipStuff balms, they are too greasy/oily! My favorites are Rosebud salve, and the strawberry version they have, or anything with a fruity/candy flavor that are on the waxy side (beeswax/petroleum jelly). The Nivea ones are great too.
Not a fan of glosses though. I usually only wear lip balm and matte lipstick on the rare occasion.

YESS EVERYTHING! worked at starbucks for two years and I miss my weekly pound of coffee/tea tin. My favorites are Yukon and Guatemala (medium blends) I also like Gold Coast for dark blends. And I have had a long obsession with Passion tea, which I always seem to be running out of!

I absolutely love Yankee Candle's Sugared Apple! Bordering on obsession actually. The problem is that it has been 'discontinued' but whenever I ask about it in stores, there is always a small supply on the "throwback" shelf, and there is always a bunch at the factory in MA. I'm not sure why they say it's discontinued when they still technically produce it. Anyway I am down to my last jar, and there's less than half left so I would shriek with joy to be gifted with ANYTHING Sugared Apple. seriously.

Is there one scent that is your goto for comfort on a bad stressful day? Like the perfume equivilent of a security blankie? TKO! I love it so much. If I don't want to smell like lavender though (or if I don't want to get sleepy lol) I like Jacob's Ladder or Snow White

Do you collect stones/rocks? I'm talking like "semi" precious stones, ie moonstone, bloodstone, quartz ect. Are there any that you're looking for at the moment? Are you in need of a stone but don't know which kind? I used to collect stones, but now I have too many. I would love some stone pendants though, in a small size, not too fancy. I love labradorite, moonstone, bloodstone, garnet, citrine, clear quartz. My absolute favorite is Labradorite though.

If you have played before, what are some of the most memorable things you've gotten? What really made you go WOW? If you haven't played, same thing, but not limited to SW. A few Halloweens ago, I got an awesome black fleece blanket with white skeletons on it from a Witch. I have used that blanket as my "knitting/cuddle" couch blanket for years now, it kept me warm while I had H1N1 last year, my dog loves cuddling with it. How many bottles of BPAL do you have? 57, but like others have said, I go through them every couple of months and weed, selling or swapping the ones I either don't ever wear, or have been keeping for odd reasons other than actually liking them

Do you read/like fantasy? What kind of books or authors do you love? Which one would you like to read? Would you like gifts related to it? I love Neil Gaiman, I am trying to collect all of his children's books (I have none yet). I'm a bit picky about my fantasy/sci fi. I play Dungeons and Dragons, but I find the themed books rather boring. I like it when real life characters are thrust into fantasy worlds and learn about themselves through their experiences. Some of the DnD books (and Game of Thrones, etc) are just really hard for me to relate to.
Soaps : do you like them? What brands? What scents? Anything you're dying to try? I like soap! I would love to try Paintbox soapworks, but honestly at this point I think I have enough soap!

Who likes hair toys, and if so what kind? Hair sticks!! Ketylos are my favorite, I prefer short sticks, around 5" in length and I usually prefer unadorned sticks crafted in real wood ( I love the different colors though, and one exception to the real wood only rule is Dymondwood!). So far I have one 5" Ketylo in rosewood, and one 5" Dymondwood in Charcoal. I'd love some dark blue and dark purple ones! (I think they are on etsy or ebay as well)

In the knitted/crocheted things area, would you want wrist warmers, 1/2 gloves, a neck warmer(the kind that pretty much just goes around your neck and maybe fastens instead of being long and loose like a scarf), slippers, or hats? If I were to knit a scarf, would you prefer a skinny one, or a wide one? A short one, that when wrapped once around your neck will just tuck under your jacket, or a long one, at least to your waist?

How do you feek about silly, funny knick-knack, dollar store stuff, stickers, magnets etc? Would you like receiving that kind of stuff or rather not? Sure! not too much though, because I have a small house inhabited by hoarders, and though I share the hoarding gene, I am able to resist it somehow so I really try to limit the clutter potential.

For tea drinkers, do you prefer loose leaf or tea bags? honestly tea bags. I like loose leaf but its way too much hassle and I hate cleaning out the little metal tea diffuser.

Lately I have been wearing a lot of neutral colors, I have been straying away from bright pinks, purples and reds like I used to wear. I like neutral (on the cool side though) eye shadows, shimmery highlighters, etc. I usually wear Everyday minerals foundation and powder, but my BIG love (which I use all the time) is MAC Fluidline in black. I would really like to try other colors, or try some of the coastal scents gel eyeliners that everyone keeps raving about. My favorite eye shadow brand is Urban Decay, and I've been trying to find their eye shadow in Lounge for so long but I think it might be discontinued =(

Do you have a place where you list all the BPAL you have or have tried? It's in the works. I have a BPAL spreadsheet, but I honestly don't have that much time to go through it and mark it all. Plus about 2/3 of the scents I have tested, I tested a long time ago. So my wishlist is probably the best bet! Also, if my witch thinks I might like something based on the notes he/she knows I like but its not on my wishlist, by all means I would love to try it!

Where was your last vacation? What did you like most? My boyfriend go to Cape Cod every summer to his Aunt's beach house. I love getting my favorite flavor ice cream (peppermint stick) and watching the whole sun set, sitting on the rocks at the beach. Oh and another really favorite thing of mine is campfires. Going to Cape Cod or going camping or anything like that is not a real vacation unless there is a campfire. Luckily my boyfriend is an ex-Eagle Scout, so he taught me how to make an awesome one. would you like a zuni animal fetish? And if so, what animal? I have to say that I would probably appreciate a mountain lion fetish more than anything, like EVER. I know it is kind of hard to obtain unless it is specifically Zuni made, as most mainstream things are about African lions. But I'd also appreciate a carved Lion or Snow leopard, as they are extremely similar in symbolism. What's YOUR favorite word? I have a lot of favorite words. I didn't choose to be an editor or an English major for nothing! One word that comes to mind is antebellum.
Steampunk, yay or nay? If yay, what part appeals most?I like the idea a LOT but I don't think I could really pull off wearing anything (I usually wear simple things now) Maybe if it wasn't too outlandish, like a very small pendant. I do like spats, but that's more generally Victorian than specifically steampunk.
Baked goods: no thank you. I feel bad saying no because I know there will be some witches who won't have much money but pleaseplease don't send any sort of food or candy. It's for a personal reason, I can let my witch know privately is he/she is interested. Tea would be AWESOME though.
Goodies for other family: Sure! my boyfriend loves foody scents like chocolate and cookies and vanilla caramel. He is looking for a new candle for his room. He's into D&D very much, he DM's and is always looking for cool miniatures. Kitty toys would be loved to bits!
Little stuff vs. big stuff: I love getting little things here and there, but I also love getting big packages, so it is up to my witch. Pretty much, either way I'm happy lol.
Social networking: I have a facebook, just look up my full name. I have an LJ but I keep it private, you can still look at my user info though, my name there is garnetmaire. my myspace http://www.myspace.com/darkbird but i don't use it anymore, so its a bit outdated.
Are you someone who'd rather have lots of small testers of different things on your wishlist, or would you rather have one or two "big" things? Most of the things on my wishlist I have already tried and I want more of! There are some things on my wishlist I haven't tried though, but those are identified lol
How about tshirt/bottoms sizes? I really love extra big pj bottoms because they are comfy. I'd love to get some halloween themed pj bottoms! L or XL are perfect (not my size, I just like them big!)
- Are you into Austen's books? Yes! I don't like the whole Jane Austen and zombie thing though. I think its stupid and a bit disrespectful.
- Do you read Tarot cards? If not, would you be interested? I used to read my own cards, I'd like to get back into it, but I need an original Rider Waite deck to learn off of instead of all the pretty yet complicated decks I have.

-Harry Potter house: Ravenclaw!! I even made a dark blue and silver striped scarf for myself last winter, only because I didn't like the original bronze and dark blue color scheme.
- soft things: I would really like a pair of mittens that converts into fingerless gloves. I wear fingerless gloves religiously in the Fall/winter, but always wished I had a pair of the aforementioned for when its REALLY cold.

Halloween Plans: hopefully not having H1N1 like last year! Ugh that sucked!
TV Guilty Pleasures: I honestly don't feel guilty about anything I watch. Most mainstream American TV I honestly don't like, especially reality TV and a lot of popular shows like True Blood and whatnot. It just doesn't appeal to me, all the actors look the same, the storylines seem all the same, nothing seems original to me anymore. I find most originality in comedy like Its Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Tim and Eric Awesome Show and most History documentaries / geeky science or nature shows. HOWEVER, if you think there is a show that I would really really like, by all means try me. I did like the Tin Man series on Sci Fi, and I like Dexter, and I am REALLY into anime. I'm hoping that someone can recommend me a very good anime because I am almost done with the series Blood + and I do all my knitting while watching so I need recommendations!
Cosplay/Costumes: eh not really. I never got the point of cosplay, in fact it really turns me off. I am however trying to think of a really cool Halloween costume for this year.
E-books: I prefer real books. Its a psychological thing. I feel like if I read a book electronically, I'm not really reading it haha. That and a computer screen tends to give me eye strain if I try to read for too long.
Scented Tarts: scented tarts are cool. I have a tart warmer, but honestly I prefer votive candles because they are easier to use and the cats are less likely to knock over a ton of melted wax. I would like to try out Dark Candles' tarts though, check my SW list in my sig for the scents I like.
Body Mods: nostril (may be getting a septum with a small subtle ring at some point, even though my bf is totally against the idea ), I have one tattoo but hope to get another one for my birthday on the 14th this month, I have lots of ear piercings and I really need more captive rings in a 18 or 16g, size 5/16ths, and I have stretched lobes in a 4g, currently deciding whether or not to keep them though at this point. I'd like to get more piercings someday.
Lip balms: I love lip balms, but I really don't use any unless they are organic. I hate MyLipStuff balms (sorry guys) because they are way too liquidy, they melt easily and I usually just feel like I have flavored oil on my lips There is one exception to the organic lip balm rule, and that is Rosebud Salve's Strawberry lip balm from Sephora. I really need another one of these because my last tin got lost!

If you could go back to any point in time, where, when, why? I would like to have been born in 1870 in America as a woman, so that I could experience the extravagance of the Gilded Age, the gradual social liberation of women, and muckraking of the Progressive era. Or I would have liked to lived through the 1920's as a young rebellious lady I would like to have been a part of the Women's rights movement, to meet Susan B. Anthony and Stanton.
Aside from all that I think what I would like most is to go back to my Native roots and live amongst the Abenakis in Vermont, before the French missionaries and Englishman drove them away and into Quebec.

What's autumn like in your neck of the woods? What do you love and/or hate about it? it is PERFECT here in Connecticut. If I ruled the world it would be Fall all year long. I love chilly walks through the woods, the cool smell of fallen leaves, my mom's irish potato stuffing on thanksgiving, warming up with hot apple cider or hot cocoa after a long day of work and school, AND best of all cuddling under blankets with the Boy.
What's your favorite product(s) at Trader Joe's? oh god. where to start? I love their roasted chicken patties, their sausages, their tomato soups (in carton and in cans) I love their tea tree tingle shampoo (would love to try the conditioner!), their whey protein, their olive oil, most of their thai food, and their tiramisu cake was good on my bday. I haven't really ventured out of my 'safe zone' (I'm weird with food) so I haven't tried a lot of the so called amazing things yet, like the cookies and candy and pasta and falafel things. Are roasted pumpkin seeds and home made chex mix the best fall snack foods, or what? I like homemade chex mix for New Years, as that's when my mom always made it. Autumn treats in my house are always pumpkin seeds (I usually prefer them shelled) and fresh apple cider. I have been VERY VERY partial to roasted and seasoned SOY nuts and I have been eating them constantly lately!

Almost everynight I have to tiptoe scared up to bed because I usually read ghost stories every night haha. I also watch ghost hunters (TAPS) every wednesday night, and I LOVE the new episodes. My favorite haunting is the LaLaurie house in New Orleans, and I am currently researching stuff online about the possibility of Edgar Allan Poe haunting his cemetery (since I'm taking Poe class this semester!) Black or with cream and/or sugar? Hmm, well I'm not too crazy or extreme about my tea. I have a metal ball for loose tea and some pretty tea cups and organic teas. I think if anything I'd love a sampler of gourmet teas from Teavana or something. I especially like fruit teas and green/white teas.

I've been trying not to eat so much dessert but if I had to pick my favorite dessert regardless of dieting, it would be cheesecake (specifically the Cheesecake Factory's Godiva cheesecake...) and for ice cream my favorite has always been Peppermint Stick.

I believe that our spirits choose a particular lesson, theme so to speak before we even start our lives, and even though we have complete free will we have a longing to do things that would help us to learn that lesson. And if we don't learn that lesson then we just try to learn it in other life/lives.
What one thing that is missing from your life would you like to have above all else? a car. after I get one I can concentrate on the big one. Writing and figuring out my career.
What was your favouritest job ever, and why? Probably working in the Barnes and Noble cafe as a barista. It wasn't the best job, but I got to work with my brother and some awesome people so that in itself made it great.

What are your phobias?mostly bugs but I seem to be slightly better about them now than I was. I like to challenge my fears so I like to think I am not afraid of anything. I do think I may have slight OCD since I am constantly terrified that I will get into a car accident, see someone or a child even get hit by a car, or a dog or something.

You're in the kitchen at the end of a pay period and groceries are pretty scarce. Do you take the five ingredients you find first and make something fabulous, or do you order take out? definitely look for stuff to make something from scratch. I can't afford to eat out that much. that $25 bucks I could spend on takeout is about a weeks worth of dinner from scratch at the grocery store!
If you could decorate/redecorate any 1 room in your home, what would it be and how would you decorate it? well I live at my parents house and their basement is ATROCIOUS. Like so so terrible. If I had no limit money wise I would totally refurbish their basement for them so they could have more room to do stuff as their house is so tiny. or maybe the bathroom.
Any rabid sports fans out there? What teams do you root for? nope. I'm a Red Sox fan simply because my grandpa's were but that's about it. I'm not a sports person at all.

This is how the world ends... zombie apocalypse, robot uprising, alien invasion, return of the elder gods... which doomsday scenario do you prefer (or make your own!)? meh. I may be the minority but I'm kind of tired of the whole zombie thing. Yeah the older movies are cool but its way overdone. I'm just the kind of person that really appreciate originality and get bored with ongoing themes. Robots might be cool though. Doomsday scenarios really bore me as well, I'm more into Science Fiction and Fantasy ideas that have nothing to do with planet Earth lol. I did however love Wall-E though because of the way Earth and mankind was portrayed way way in the future.
In the year 2525... if man is still alive... what sort of future do you imagine? (apologies to anyone who gets that song stuck in their head!) I really have no idea. I don't think we can even predict that far into the future honestly. I hope we've been able to advance farther into space at least by then.
Do you believe in magic (or magick, if you prefer)? What does it mean to you? I do believe in it, though I'm not sure I am capable of understanding it or practicing it. I have tried in the past and I just can't get it. Maybe I just haven't had it explained in a way I can understand it? I understand and believe in the Law of Attraction and focusing and visualizing things you want in your life, if that is considered magick then I guess I understand magic.
If you found the puzzle box from Hellraiser, what would you do with it? ( and would you be able to resist playing with it? ) oh god. good question. I think I would like... bury it like 70 feet underground or something. Or maybe throw it into an abandoned quarry.
AGLAEA: Three golden ambers, bright musk, peach wine and myrtle.
A BEAUTIFUL, bright sweet peach! Smells just like Bath and Body Works discontinued scent Peach Nectar. I LOVE this. The ambers are non-existant on me, either that or they blend in/emphasize the peach perfectly. I also can't detect the musk, but it may be also emphasizing the peach.
I don't know what myrtle smells like, but I *maybe* can detect a hint of floral behind the peach? (it may be just because I WANT to smell the floral )
I love this scent so much. I am definitely buying a 5ml.
BLUEBEARD: A scent swirling with dark rage, unbridled jealousy, and murderous intent. Violet, lavender, white musk and vetiver.
The lavender hit me at once. Now I can smell those dreadful violets... and they are almost as strong as the lavender. despite my hatred for violets I must say how perfect they blend with lavender. I couldn't detect the vetiver, which I know is a pretty strong, bitter note. The scent didn't smell murdeous to me, but it is definitely masculine and reminds me of the sea.
GAUEKO: The Basque God of Night and all the perils of the darkness. Though he is the God of the Danger that Lurks in the Gloom, he is kind to men and warns them against the nighttime hazards and sets rules of conduct for both the living and the dead as they travel through his domain. It is said that since the warm, vibrant daylight is for the living, the abodes of night are reserved for the dead. All who heed his counsel are protected, but woe be to any man that disobeys the laws of Gaueko: he is swift to punish those that would scorn his advice. Blackened sandalwood and misty lavender, with curling wisps of smoky tobacco, nag champa, and labdanum.
Wow. Nag champa and lavender! I love Nag champa with a passion and I let out a huge squee when I first sniffed this in my imp. Wow, I never knew that Nag Champa and lavender could blend together and compliment each other so wonderfully! The nag champa is most noticeable in the vial, wet on skin it is mostly lavender, dry on skin it is mostly nag champa!
Oh, my love! Another to add to my 5ml wishlist. I'm also going to have to make room on my top 10!
REGAN
A deceptively sweet orchid vanille with a faint trace of stephanotis.
When wet, it is VERY STRONG, and smells very much like Follow Me Boy (which sometimes gives me a headache) smells like jasmine and baby powder, and nothing like the orchids I am used to (like Shadow Witch Orchid).
However, after it dries down there is a lovely vanilla (it was disguised as jasmine! it was SOMEHOW really vanilla!)
SLOTH
VERY dark and murky. musky. I'm not sure I can handle much of this without a headache. reminds me a bit of cheap drugstore cologne from the early 90's. But it also smells almost like depression, stagnation.

GRAPES. Smells just like grape bubblegum, which is not a bad thing but it also means it smells artificial. Myrrh or frankincense, patchouli? musk of some sort. hard to detect what is beyond that. It is very calming even though the scent is strong. I could totally see how it can describe the setting sun.
The grape remindsme of this weird air freshener my grandmother has. I'm not sure whether I like this or not.
UTRENNYAYA
The Morning Star
Osmanthus, Damascus rose, violet, delphinium, white mint, palmarosa and white sandalwood. When wet it is very herbally, minty. Very green smelling. It reminds me a bit of Envy with its smell of fresh green cut grass and of mint. Sweet though, as I can smell the florals through it as if the green smells were a fence or a screen. A lot of notes I can't quite place, but it definitely smells like a late spring/early summer scent.
ETA: definitely more floral as it dries.
