Teamama Report post Posted December 8, 2022 Shucks! I forgot to review V'al Hanissim? Review of the 2020 release. Light, sweet, close to the skin. The interplay between the dry amber & the sweet beeswax is lovely. The beeswax accord is similar to the one in The Lights of Men's Lives, but this one smells less processed, so there's a bit more of the lovely, warm, furry smell of bees. illuviel Report post Posted Wednesday at 07:42 PM I received this as a birthday present after having ordered - and having been vaguely disappointed by - an imp of Against Idleness & Mischief. It's all I wanted the latter to be: warm, honeyed beeswax on a solidly soft, golden base of amber. It is delicious on its own and layers well with other scents.
