Help with Jasmine scents, please!

I was wondering if anyone had suggestions for a creamier jasmine scent!

It's a relatively recent LE, so not currently directly available, but possibly pretty findable on forum sales. If the other notes in The Hound and the Milk White Doe sound good to you, I did find the jasmine to blend really well into the creaminess of the coconut in it. The notes are: golden sandalwood and liquidambar, cardamom, coconut milk, jasmine sambac, white petal rosewater, and labdanum. To me, the jasmine is a pretty wonderful and important element to the scent, but it's certainly not a pure jasmine scent.

I feel like I might have some other thoughts that aren't coming to mind right now. Jasmine is a note that I really like, so I might circle back with another few thoughts later though.

Hound is a great suggestion for this. My test lately for whether something counts as a true "jasmine" scent is whether my sweetie Ashton calls it out -- he really dislikes jasmine. And this was definitely one that he preferred me not to wear around him :D

TOMIE doesn't bother him, as the jasmine is very smoothly blended into the floral aspect of the scent. Same with Caligari A-Go-Go, which has a woozy jasmine component that I find nice and strong and nocturnal, but I think the other notes (cotton blossom, dirt, petitgrain, tobacco) throw him off the track.

Thank you so much @ShadowEtienne and @Failmingo for these very thoughtful suggestions! Reading reviews, The Hound and the Milk sounds so beautiful - I tend to get scared off by coconut notes maybe because of sunscreen/lotion associations, but that's really not fair of me and this sounds like a gorgeous blend! I'll keep an eye out for it on the forum.

What a trial to have a beloved who cannot stand jasmine scents! My sympathies with that one.

I've heard so many wonderful things about Tomie that it may be time to try it even if it isn't a "true" jasmine! These are both wonderful places to start, I appreciate you both. I may also try imps of Delight and Nyx, which are both GCs which haven't yet crossed my path to this point. I love that a lot of these also have rose - one of my recent jasmine experiences was finding a stunning bush of it beside an equally beautiful pink rosebush, and I wanted to remember the experience of those two scents together forever.

Reporting back dispatches from my jasmine quest for anyone else who may be on one!

From my GC exploration, Nyx ended up being precisely the jasmine + rose combination I was hoping for! The myrrh is much gentler than in Wicked, and on me it's a beautifully balanced combination of both florals. Delight, alas, was not so for me, and ended up rather dusty and pale. Defututa is a fascinating scent, but I wouldn't call it predominantly jasmine - the champaca feels more central to that one.

Tomie is beautiful, sinuously elegant scent with a thread of cool jasmine, but I would agree that it's not jasmine-forward, and I would probably describe its main notes as almond blossom and vanilla.

I was also lucky enough to acquire three old LEs which have entirely satisfied my longing for a creamy jasmine - Eostre of the Dawn, The Night Priestess, and Mrs Emma Marsh (though the last is more gardenia than jasmine on me). Each is very different in sensibility and in the other florals the jasmine is paired with, but each in their own way showcases jasmine beautifully with the billowy creaminess I was longing to hold onto from my in vivo jasmine experiences this spring and summer. I know none of those are readily available, but I recommend them to anyone else who may be searching for a similar kind of jasmine!

For cooler jasmines (either herbal or perfumey), I continue to love Twilight, The Presence of Love, and Cold Moon 2024. I recently tried the Cold Moon duet Jasmine Absolute & Champaca Petals which is a very pure and beautiful jasmine experience as well. A Cup of Tea on the Verandah, from last years Yules, has also been growing on me - as my decant ages the sharpness I experienced from at first has softened out and the jasmine comes out beautifully.
