I was hoping for lots of sweet pea from this one, but of course it's tuberose that takes the lead right out of the gate and holds that position throughout wear. It's backed by the pink silk note, which smells somewhat cotton-y to my nose. These two notes were strong enough on me that I wasn't able to pick out the sweet pea or the honeyed skin musk, curiously enough!

 

Definitely one for tuberose fans that enjoy fabric notes.

This is very lovely on me, I enjoyed it more than I expected to. At first I thought it might skew too feminine for me to want to wear even if it was very pretty, but something made that okay for me. It was not at all sugary and didn't feel particularly "young" or "girlish", which are not vibes I want to project with my perfume. It's very well balanced creamy tuberose and slightly fruity sweet pea on me (somewhere between peach and lychee), with that almost grape-skin-like tang from the white florals. The silk is more of a smooth, diaphanous sort of texture than an accord I can pick out, and the honey adds a touch of sweetness without ever coming across as heavy. Very refined and lovely, simple but not straightforward. It really does somehow remind me of cool, smooth pink silk. I didn't think I'd want a bottle, but I keep finding myself reaching for my decant again, so I'll give it some more thought before this Lunacy comes down!

This is a very tuberose-heavy scent, and a lovely incarnation of tuberose indeed, probably my favorite that I've tried from bpal so far. There's a smooth delicacy to it that is sensuous and very much evokes silk, though I think it's actually coming from the skin musk, but the billowing, rich quality of the tuberose gives it body and substance. I am not familiar enough with sweet pea to pick it out, but I think it's bringing a sweet, fruity quality which keeps the tuberose from tipping too far into the indolic. On dry down I get more honey and musk, and the tuberose calms a little. This a very wearable, balanced tuberose, unlike the other most tuberose-centric bpal I've tried, A Timid Twinkling Star, where the butteriness of the white floral becomes overpowering. The whole certainly feels pink, indolent, and luxurious, fitting to the painting; white flowers on a summer breeze through the window at night.

 

I might end up wanting a bottle of this one; I don't have another scent in my collection which really showcases tuberose, and I want one for floral completionist purposes! But I'll live with my decant for a little and see how often I end up wearing it before it goes down.

In the bottle I get gentle breezy sweet pea, backed by some creamy musky notes. Sweet pea can sometimes be too sweet for me, but this one has a soft, natural feel. On wet the tuberose comes out, and as it dries is the most forward note. Creamy and a bit indolic, which keeps the scent from being too gentle and wispy.
