galahad Report post Posted April 17 In the Bottle: Definitely rum and general booziness. It is really salty in the bottle but not sharp. On The Skin: Initially the rum but the plum blooms fairly quickly to lighten a blend that was quite dense. The cistus and patchouli become more evident further into the drydown. This ends up slightly creamy, still a little salty and a touch fruity (but not light or zesty). Nice.
rhodekamelot Report post Posted 7 hours ago The first blast smells like I knocked over a saltshaker and a jar of matcha while ripping open a bag of prunes. The prune note is impressively realistic. The boozy notes eventually round out the prune into something more perfume-y, and the patchouli and matcha combine into an earthy base note. I’m not sure this is the perfume for me, but I hope I’ll see more of this delicious prune note in future blends!
