BPAL Madness!

Recommended Posts

Autumn is falling over a seaside town where vacationers have long since gone home and the locals have packed their umbrellas up for the season. Under gloomy skies, blue-gray waves crash against the abandoned shore over and over, as if trying to reach for something that is no longer there. It swallows the ghosts of footprints and sandcastles. Winds moan in the distance, scattering dead leaves at the edge of the sand. Strange magic happens when the salty breath of the ocean mingles with dry leaves further inland, creating a beach scene that attracts few to the shore, but those who experience it are utterly bewitched.

I think that first review says it all!

Definitely getting "sleepy, spooky small coastal town in Autumn" vibes from this. It smells like a cold, grey day at the beach. Fresh and sort of cologne-y, but with a quiet, spooky edge.

This is like a handful of dry leaves scrunched up and sprinkled, whilst walking along a cold bleak beach.

Think dry leaves and salty sea water. Whisps of cold wind blowing your hair out of place.

What i will say is that it is currently spring in the UK... and this is making a nice, cool refreshing spray too. So don't assume it's for winter only!

It has a medium throw and lasts quite a few hours in my livingroom. (I have sprayed it on fabric... my sofa throw)

I am curious to those who have or will review this: 1. I think i'm getting cucumber from that 'cooling' scent? 2. Do i keep getting a ghostly whiff of leather? Anyone else catching these notes? Or is it just me? Maybe my bottle is haunted lol.
