I remember trying the original perfume & it didn't really thrill me. It was powdery on my skin & a bit cloying. However, I am really enjoying the hair gloss. It's lovely & creamy with a hint of spice which is probably the teak. I also get a tiny bit of almond. There's not a huge throw but that's fine for wearing to work. I wasn't expecting to like this so much & now I need more!
