BPAL Madness!

Recommended Posts

In the bottle and when first applied, this scent is very sweet strawberry candy, like Eat the Strawberries without the slight tart note that makes it seem more like fresh strawberries to my nose. After just a few moments on my skin, it becomes very slightly less sweet, and the lovely fizzy note from Sparkling Apple Cider comes in and turns it into a slightly dry strawberry soda scent. As a strawberry fan, as well as someone who loves the fresh fruitiness of Sparkling Apple Cider, I think this blend is quite lovely and fun. Definitely an unexpected and playful way to welcome in the new year, like a glass of champagne spiked with strawberry syrup.

Oops. I forgot to review this when it was available, so I retested this again last night for this review. This smells exactly like the description: chunks of strawberry in a glass of prosecco. It doesn't take long for the prosecco note to become the main aspect of the scent on me, and it is on point. It may be one of the most realistic alcohol notes I've come across from the Lab, with its crisp fruitiness and fizz. Alas, my skin does to this what it happens to do to some scents for some reason where something in this goes a little tomato soup-y on me. Wahh. I have no idea what could be causing that. But anyways, if the scent description sounds good to you, definitely give this a try. It was pretty nice until my skin ruined the party!
