doomsday_disco Report post Posted November 14, 2024 Dead grass, upturned soil, rusted ironwork, and oak leaves etched against a sepia-stained wash of tonka bean, patchouli, vetiver, and amber-tinged oud. Carl Gustav Carus
Biocarbons Report post Posted January 9 Wet: MOSSY, grassy, vetiver with iron railing poking out haphazardly over oud. This is mostly green oud now. I'm not mad at it, but I want to compare it to ruins of castle Karnstein. Karnstein is sharper and slightly more 'masc' than cemetery.
Liquid Sword Report post Posted July 26 BPAL’s soil and dead grass/ leaves notes are amazing at conveying grief. I didn’t understand this fragrance before, because you kinda have to be in the right headspace to understand this one. It’s so appropriate to the painting. I’m looking forward to wearing it more.
