forspecial_plate Report post Posted June 25, 2024 (edited) The Lab has a particular kind of rose note that turns sour on me, and it's in this scent. (Sorry I can't remember where else I have smelled it). This is kind of soapy, almost a grassy rose scent, possibly white rose? But it's a rose that doesn't work for me. : ( I can't make out what else is in this because on my skin the sour rose stomps all over anything else that might be here. I really wanted to love this, I love The Dark Crystal so much. Edit: I tried this again tonight, and it's much nicer. I also smell more than just rose. I smell sunny white rose and resins, possibly frankincense and myrrh. Kind of makes me think of Aureus and Midnight Mass. And the rose isn't really sour on me this time, although it's still a little on the soapy side. I guess some aging has done wonders for this scent.
