Mainly leather and steel. I really don't like either of these notes, but this one may smell good on a guy.

    Honey Snowballs Hair Gloss

I was hoping that this would be like my White Bees Swarming HG, and it does not disappoint. Lovely floral honey with a touch of snow. I find it somewhat different than the perfume oil, I like this better. Will definitely use my decant.

    Burial

So much evergreen! Pretty much that at the beginning, then the patchouli comes in, with a touch of dirt. This smells like the outdoors, and it's quite nice, but it's more of an atmosphere blend to me.

    Tushnamatay

Quite sour upon my skin. Although its sour, there seems to be some sort of honey in the background. Really not my cuppa, but interesting to try.

    New Orleans

I thought that I've tried and reviewed this, but I guess not. Hothouse florals, very sweet and luscious, quite strong. I love honeysuckle, and I'm enjoying this one, as we still have 3 feet of snow. New Orleans is on my bucket list, and this one is nice to try, and I do wear this kind of blend on occasion. Reminds me of Faiza, and one of the Grindhouse girls. Nice!

    The Mummies of Mexico City

I love the hairgloss, so immediately searched out a bottle of the perfume. On my skin, I'm not sure how I feel about it. Lovely, sweet incense, just a dripping resin fest, but very nice with the added sweetness. I'm not sure if I want the keep the oil, though, maybe it's too strong? It smells desolate, like nothing is living. This is what I'd imagine a museum to smell like, with mummies, and a controlled temperature. A bit unsettling.

Dead Leaves and Burnt Marshmallows Hair Gloss

This one is quite nice, but I wish there was more of the marshmallow scent. I do smell it, but more in the background. I will probably be passing on my bottle.

    Krampus Lace

So very disappointed that I missed out on this one in bottle form. I have and love Krampus, so knew I had to procure this blend somehow. This is quintessential bpal. Lovely, boozy incense musk, leaning more feminine on me, sweet, very much part of the 'lace' family, but more bad-ass. The only complaint I have, is that it fades quite quickly on me, granted I went for a walk right after applying, so maybe it burned off more than usual. The two imps will not hold me, I am going to have to find more. I just had Mummies of MC arrive today, and they kind of smell similar, so I will have to do a side by side. It could be just because I just put KL on too, and it confused my nose a bit. LOVE LOVE LOVE

    Death on a Pale Horse

Light, fresh and airy. If death smells like this, sign me up! I'm getting light musk and florals, with a touch of lavender/mint. This one smells like spring, nice to try, and would be a great blend in the heat of summer to cool off with. Nice, but I'll just keep the imp.

    Ultraviolet

I really like violet, especially in the spring. This one is mostly mint and eucalyptus at first, which is good, because I'm just getting over a nasty cold. This remains that way with only a touch of violet. I'm enjoying this, and will probably use up the imp when I have a stuffy nose.

    Dana O'Shee Hair Gloss

Very much like the perfume, and it smells great when I spray it. After my hair has dried, I get just the slightest hint of scent, and I used 8 pumps. *sigh* I wish that Dana O'Shea was stronger in all it's incarnations, including the perfume.

    The Isles of Demons

Twin islands near Newfoundland, now lost, that were believed to be gateways to Hell. The scent is of wet, dark greenery, carnivorous flowers, volcanic gas, and the hot black musk of the demons and wild beasts that populated the islands. Kind of aquatic, musky and green with a bit of smoke. Not my thing, but interesting to try.

    Al-Shairan

Clove, clove, clove, with cinnamon and a touch of incense. This is nice on a $#*ing cold winter day of -25 in March. Dries down to mostly cinnamon red hots. Nice to try, but not really me.

    Dian's Bud

Pretty, green floral. This would be lovely for spring, if it ever gets here:) This kind of reminds me of Amsterdam, it smells like a bulb flower, but with more greenery.

    A Sweet Sleep Hair Gloss

This is really beautiful. I'm getting sweet, french lavender and a touch of the pear. It reminds me of TKO, but the lavender seems different somehow. I can't comment on if it is similar to Lilith's hg, as I haven't tried it. I kind of wish I got a big bottle, but I haven't even gone through a decant, and I've been using since the lab first started making them. It does seem rather faint in the hair, though.

    Black Hellebore

Very floral, but kind of a 'pretty' one, not overbearing or heady. There is a bit of a herbal vibe, like a green, herbal, slightly floral blend. It actually smells quite a bit like Herbal Essences shampoo, which goes for a pretty penny on eBay now a days. This is quite nice, and I'll maybe throw it in the diffuser or wear it on a spring day, if spring ever comes.

    Bensiabel

Oh yuck, leather. It smelled kind of fruity in the imp, so I wasn't expecting this. This ends up being soapy, leather cologne. Leather fans should try this, though!

Mme. Moriarty, Misfortune Teller Hair Gloss

When I first smelled this from the mailbox, it seemed more vanilla heavy than the perfume. I really thought I was in trouble, as it smelled even better than the perfume, if that is even possible. Fast forward a couple of weeks, and it is quite similar to the perfume, a bit spicy and full of plum, musky goodness. It is rather faint in my hair, though. The hair gloss smells better than the perfume, to me, and I kind of wish I got a bottle rather than a decant. That will learn me, though I wish the scent came out more from my hair.

    Urd

I'm guessing that muscadine must be some kind of fruit. I'm thinking grape? This is extremely fruity, with a touch of musk. Much like fruity musk scents like Hollywood Babylon and Mania. Fun to try, but not me.

    Marshmallow Snow Bath Oil

I was hoping for the lab's marshmallow note with a touch of snow, but it pretty much the other way around. There is an odd chemical smell floating around, too. I do love the bath oils as a moisturizer, and that part does not disappoint. It layers well with Stekk, but I gotta say that this one is a bit of a fail scent wise.

    Mania

Fruity, and slightly musky. This smells like strawberry to me. I don't normally like white musk, but I'm not minding it here. Nice to try in the middle of a nasty winter, but it's not something I would normally wear.

Mummies of Mexico City Hair Gloss

I got a decant of this, as I couldn't get a tester of the perfume, and just wanted to see what the fuss is about. I sprayed several squirts in my hair, and I'm getting dusty, sweet incense. I'm really loving the scent and wish to track some perfume down, which will be next to impossible.

    Dana O'Shee Bath Oil

I have nothing but good things to say about the Post's bath oils. I use mine as a moisturizer, but only once in awhile, as it's a bit pricey:) The scent is very similar to the oil. I have a super aged bottle, so it's a bit different, though I think I prefer it fresh. I do wish it was a bit more stronger, as I do with the perfume and especially the atmosphere spray as well. I will treasure my bottle, and use it for special occasions. Hopefully it will get a bit stronger with some age behind her.

    2008: Sugar Phoenix

This is like a chypre to me. Fresh, light and a dash of green cologne. There may be just a touch of lavender here for me, but not much. Will be lovely for spring, but I don't need any more than my dram.

    Dana O'Shee Atmosphere Spray

I always wondered why people thought that DOS smelled like Lush's Snowcake. The perfume to me, doesn't but this atmosphere spray does, so go figure. It is really lovely in the bottle, comforting almond and vanilla, two of my most favourite notes. The problem with this spray is that I squirted several pumps, and I cannot smell it in my living room. At all. I sprayed it on my shirt sleeve, and it was gone within a few minutes. I am really disappointed in this one. Such a waste of money.
