  1. Quick, everyone tell me one blog I should follow. Doesn't have to be mom related, just whatever.

  2. Thanks for adding me! :D

  3. It's sad that I'm excited about this, but it's after 6 am and Max is still sleeping!

  4. Max finally started walking! It's so cute. :)

  5. I'm sorry your poor baby is so sick! I hope he feels better soon. <3

  6. If a Facebook friend request from your ex falls on Valentine's Day and no one is around to snark it, does it make a sound?

  7. Today, I made mini-meatloaves! Who says I can't cook?

  8. Snow flurries! Must make French toast... Ahhhh fklgdyfh

  9. I love Amazon Prime (so much that I paid for it after my free Prime benefits from Amazon Mom ran out). Free 2-day shipping is great and it's awesome that I can borrow Kindle books for free. But really? ONE book per month is the borrowing limit? What the hell is that?!

  10. I was browsing (aka stalking) the FB friends list of one of my longtime friends earlier this morning. I saw pictures of people I knew and partied with when I was in college. Most of them had babies or little kids in their profile pictures. Funny how we all started out so crazy and ended up so, um, normal.

  11. This is a historic moment. Max ate a veggie. It has cheese on top but hey.

  12. 'K guys, if you are the parent of a picky toddler, please share your successful dinner recipes here. Fairly easy would be preferred, as I am cooking-impaired. Bonus points for things that freeze well, since the only times I can cook are weekends or my lunch hour. :)

  13. I hate when Max acts like I'm trying to kill him when I try to get him to go to bed. It doesn't happen often, but it's supafuntimes when it does.

  14. When do molars stop hurting? Is it when all four points break through or does the middle have to be out as well? Max has two molars that are partially through. One is a top and one is a bottom, so I'm guessing we will be seeing their mates pretty soon, too. Ahhhh, teeth.

  15. Oh, and it never fails. The day you feel confident and happy about your parenting choices is also the day that your one year old refuses to eat dinner and becomes a screaming mess while getting ready for bed. Thanks for the reminder, Universe! :D

  16. Mike and I finally saw Toy Story 3 last weekend. Are we terrible people because we didn't think it was super sad?

  17. With regard to my last post (because I do not want to start anything), I'm not saying anything about people who use other methods than I do (such as CIO). I'm only talking about the ones who told me that my son would never learn to sleep on his own, would never stop nursing, etc, because of the methods *I* chose.

  18. I woke up this morning and thought it was Saturday for the first hour. It is NOT Saturday. WTF, life?

  19. Happy birthday to my sweet little boy. I can't believe it's been a year already!!! (He celebrated by getting up suuuuuper early today. Ouch.)

  20. I'm not really complaining about this, because sleeping through the night is AMAZING and I hope it keeps happening... but the "downside" is that now my son gets up even earlier. Today, it was 5:20 am. Thank goodness Mike has morning duty during the week. :)

Congrats on the sleeping through the night thing! That is a wonderful milestone... sleep depravation is horrible...

Thanks! He does not do it every night and I'm still not sure it's not a fluke. But wow do I hope it keeps happening. :D

  21. What's wrong with this picture? Baby sleeps through the night 3 days in a row. However, MOMMY only sleeps through the night one of those days because Daddy is on call. Argh. :-p
