I got this when I was just starting to get a cold, which forced me to wait a couple of days to really give it a sniff- and it was completely worth it! I definitely get the oatmeal and the vanilla upfront on my skin, and then I get the sandalwood and a little bit of tea, along with it smells a little fresh to my nose? This feels like a oversized sweater and cozy tea in your hands while you’re sitting on a window seat looking out at the rain. I absolutely love it and I’m so glad that I got a bottle!

Oh my gosh, the peaches are juicy and fresh, sun-warmed and sweet with a bit of tart, and the milk is creamy and rich. This is glorious.

This one lingers close to the skin for me, but it is such a delicious nutty, warm, honey-swirled delight, that I can’t stop huffing it! I definitely get nuts upfront, and the honey seems to amp on my skin, so I think it’s a little stronger on me than it might be for others. Perfect for the transition from summer to fall! The throw does mean I will probably need to slather but I’m so glad to have gotten this in a bottle so that I can if I want!

So I’m not the most advanced with my sniffer, but I really like this! There’s definitely apple, though it’s kind of more of a candied apple in my opinion, but there’s also some kind of spiciness to it that I can’t quite place. I like that it has a little spiciness, but it’s also not cinnamon, so that my skin reacts! I think it might be that extra Blood - I can definitely get cherry, and I could see the spice being myrrh and clove. I feel like it’s a perfect late summer to early fall transition scent. Really yummy!

I agree with wodnesse above - on my skin there was a floral grass that really came through, not just pure grass, but freshly mown dandelions amongst the grass. I wish the sweetgrass came a little bit stronger? But this is such a delightful summer scent that I don’t really mind.

On the skin I initially got toffee but then I got some beautiful rose right after, like a one-two gourmand floral punch. I love this so much! It's like a rose scented tea while eating a toffee cookie. Delicious.- 13 replies

This is so delicious to me, it’s definitely lavender and bread upfront, a nice crusty bread, but as it dries down, I get a little bit of creaminess that’s hard to define, butter, and I get a little bit of lemon that brightens the whole thing up. This is like my dream sleep scent.

This is a chocolate that bites back for sure, bittersweet and dark. The spices here are incredibly loud, but I don’t dislike them - they also smell tantalizing like a witch’s spice cabinet, they smell like spices that are actively being used in remedies and tinctures. There was another 13 I remember that smelled very much like dry spices, like a spice market almost - these ones smell lived in, is the best way I can describe it. I also am really sensitive to cinnamon, and it is nice to have a spicy scent that does not make my skin upset. I will be curious to try layering this with something a little bit more foodie.

I immediately got “barnyard” on my skin, which I honestly have never gotten from oud before! As it dries down, I get more of the leather, and a bit of the amber. I’ll be curious to put this away for a bit and then sniff it again once it’s settled, since my decant just came today! It’s not… Bad? I’m just not sure I need more of it.

As someone who has made saffron, flavored Swedish breads, this is such a joy and a delight for me! My only wishes that the scent would linger a little bit longer, because it does tend to get soaked up by my skin very quickly. It definitely smells like a sweet bread, to me, and the lavender adds a really pleasant extra layer.

I feel so sad, I really wanted to love this, but on my skin, it mostly smells initially like soap, and then aquatic in a way that reads more like men’s cologne than it does tomato plants. I really wanted something that smelled like that sent when you pluck a leaf off of a tomato plant in the summer! My quest continues. This would be a lovely sent on somebody else, but it just doesn’t smell right on my skin.

On first spraying this in my hair, it’s definitely caramel apples, but that darkly golden caramel, on a tart granny smith. Over time it softens into butterscotch and cream, the apple just a delicious aftertaste. It’s definitely autumnal, but I like it year-round!

I JUST got this in the mail and had to give it a sniff immediately, so I'll try to come back and update after it's rested. The first note is brick - that smell of stone, baked a bit in the sun. Reminds me of the brick buildings in Back Bay, where I grew up. But then, the fruit comes in, citrus freshly squeezed, with a bit of bubbly effervescence right behind. This is a fun and surprising scent that I can't stop sniffing on my wrists!

Oh my gosh. I just got an imp of this, and I've been trying to sniff my way through all the samples I've collected. This fresh out of the bottle is sinister yet seductive black leather. I can see why people say it's masculine - it is NOT soft in any way - but I feel it's so evocative of the kind of leather jacket-clad hard femme you see in the shadows at a party, playing with a knife. You know she takes care of that jacket - she probably has prospective lovers scrambling over each other to black her boots - and it's the glossy suppleness of her leathers that make you shiver wondering how she would take care of you. On the skin the musk creeps out, and the vetiver gives it a little bit of freshness. I am in love. Um. Ahem. Yum.

I very much get dry spices here, and no coffee, at least on first application - but it does give a truly beautiful chai smell on my skin, and the cinnamon didn't burn me - yay!

This is heaven in a bottle - that cardamom adds such a beautiful spice to the vanilla and amber, and the orchid adds just a little floral to the mix to keep it from being gourmand, at least on my skin. I want to melt into a puddle of this scent.

I get a lot of orange blossom from this, with some tobacco flower, and a sweetness that rounds it off. I really like this, it's sweet and floral but it doesn't ping my sinuses the way some florals do. The citrus especially makes me think of the end of winter in California. And that orange blossom lingers really nicely.- 9 replies

Straight out of the bottle, this definitely smells pink and sweet and creamy and delightful! There's a bit of that green juiciness too - on my skin it reminds me a little of the old Bath and Body Works Cucumber part of Cucumber Melon, but this smells more grown up and floral. As it dries, the fruity sugar candy dies down some to let the floral bloom forward. This is such a wonderful spring to summer scent and I love it!

On me, this comes across as soothing lavender lotion, but also layered with something that comes off to me as "fresh" - freshly laundered cotton certainly comes to mind! I don't get anything foodie or even foodie adjacent in this - in fact I get something that I recognize more in scents called "cool water" and such, and I'm not sure what exactly that is. I love it, though, this feels calming without making me sleepy.

Interesting! this immediately throws out mint for me, and then maybe some faint fruit - I can pick out the tootsie roll smell others are talking about, and the whole thing leaves me wondering if this is deliciously seasonal or toothpaste. I think maybe mint isn't for me in perfumes!

I just got a bottle of this and while I definitely see what people mean about the cumin smell, it definitely flips back-and-forth for me between cumin and Mexican hot cocoa! I actually really like it, it doesn’t have BO tendencies on me at all, just that borderline between bitter spicy and sweet spicy. I can’t stop sniffing myself!

This has a chewiness I really wasn't expecting but I absolutely love it! The peach is fresh and juicy, very much a sun-warmed ripe peach over a more perfume-y peach, and I'm so glad. The coconut adds depth and creaminess that makes this an immediate favorite. I'm so glad I took a chance.

I absolutely agree with Little Bird, this is autumnal spice, very cozy and snuggly like a wool sweater that’s been well loved. It’s sweeter than I would’ve expected from the notes, but I love that! I can’t stop sniffing myself.

I love the smell of this, but there is enough spice in it to give me a skin rash, so its scent lockets only. I definitely smell the spice upfront, with a bit of lemon brightness. I wish I got more greenery! Monocainsheresy nailed it by calling it a Christmas candle.
