  1. Fresh: right away i smell strawberries and what i think is coconut and the red currant. the vibe is very juicy red. i believe the vanilla is in the background smoothing things out and despite all the foodie notes this does not smell like food to me at all. it’s more like a very expensive fancy shampoo not soapy. i think it’s the white musk also helping give this an aquatic edge, that veers into atmospheric.

Dry: the overall smell absolutely makes me think of water if not the beach and it reminds me Animals at the Bottom of the Sea from last year but that has a punchier smell whereas this is just smooth and everything blends together. in the dry down the honeyed leather comes out more for me and it makes this an easy favorite for me this year.

i was expecting a more floofy foody/floral but im glad that i was wrong! elegant is apt descriptor.

  2. strong lavender in the bottle, on the skin more sandalwood and bit of the pumpkin comes out. much sweeter and less herbal than expected with saltiness in the background. i really really dig it and find myself gravitating toward it a lot! i think this perfume is a great representation of the word "despondency" without actually evoking the feelinging because I find this scent to be very calming. layering surprisingly well with Anticipation!

  3. first test fresh from the mail: starts out very sweet, wet on skin. all i can really pick out are the sugar cookies. the cookies are soft but not buttery, like lofthouse cookies with the frosting. as it dries more spicy carnation comes out. i don't get much rose but i'm hoping for more with time. this is definitely different enough from Alice that you can own both. i thought this would be a gentler scent based on notes but this is in your face pink and sweet. medium throw. this may end up being a good layering scent. i could see this being a good hair gloss. this is also growing on me more with age, it's becoming a little less sweet and a little more spicy and i can see myself reaching for this a lot come winter.

  4. clean cologne, unisex leaning masculine. pepper and bergamot stick out at first but as time goes on more of the orange blossom comes out and it becomes a much brighter and fun scent. really lovely and interesting. almost smells like it should be a drink with alcohol in the best way. I did a group order with a friend and this was theirs but I had to decant off a tester because it smells so good on me! way different than my usual gourmands but the orange blossom satisfies that itch without being foodie. i need to get my partner to wear it to see how it smells on him.

this definitely evokes a feeling of Anticipation with the brightness and pepper

  5. first test fresh from the mail: mostly getting cream and honey. maybe a bit of marshmallows. this is a very gentle scent that reminds me of a body wash without being soapy. it’s really lovely and sleepy. i'm not getting much tea but there is a powdery/waxy quality to the scent that makes me think of makeup products. i almost wish it was a hair gloss or bath oil.

now that it's been some weeks later I get a lot more of a fresh bergamot tea and marshmallows, like the lime flavored one's my mom would get around easter. i really love this one!

  6. this is not my type of scent at all but my friend got it in our group order and I wanted to try it. in the bottle it's dry and green. on the skin, bay leaf is the strongest note and something about it makes me think of "Faint Scent of Blood Between Her Lips" but i don't think they share notes. this is more on the masc side of unisec but it's a really interesting scent. I definitely think this will need some aging to really shine but it smelled niced the longer it stayed on my skin. this is a fresh, medicinal/apothecary type of scent.

  7. very sweet like pomegranate syrup, almost to the point where it smells like candy. I agree that it's basically a pom single note. very nice but makes me think of something you'd find in Claire's or Bath and Body Works with all the sweetness and none of the tobacco. I grabbed a tester off my friend's bottle so I'm excited to see if it develops more over time. Overall though, I'm very happy with how it smells right now!

  8. first test fresh from the mail: sweet patchouli and honeysuckle. i can't really pick out other notes but it’s sweet in a non gourmand way. i might be getting a bit of the amber, maybe sugar cane. it someone how takes on a bubblegum quality. i really can't decide how i feel about it. this reminds me of a Lush style scent but more sophisticated. has the best throw of the bunch of Liliths I got and after some dry time i think i really like this one. approachable, non offensive patchouli. this is definitely growing on me as it's becoming cleaner, softer, and more balanced.

now that it's been 2 weeks i can firmly say that i LOVE Spoopy Kid! It's one of those scents that smells better the longer it sits on you. I also really love how it smells on my clothes (all the sweetness comes out). I wasn't sure if I liked patchouli before but this has inspired me to try more patchouli scents and it's really becoming a favorite note. I almost want a back up bottle but one dot or swipe of oil usually does the trick so i think this will last and age beautifully!

  9. definitely a rain scent. herby, wet, and blue. slight creaminess from the coconut milk but does not smell like coconut specifically (kind of wish it did but i’ll live). it also doesn’t smell specifically like lavender. just green things in the rain with a little cream behind it. i don’t think it smells like cement but i can see why that would come to mind, there is something stoney in the background. another clean without being soapy scent coming from the Liliths this year! yay! finally clean scents i can wear!

i would totally use this as a body wash (or bath oil, hint hint) low throw, i will probably be using this as a sleep scent.

  10. JASMINE. it reminds me of the kind of jasmine in Lush’s Lust perfume. as it dries the sweetness of tea and a bit of lavender and the peonies comes out more. this is a fantastic, non oppressive floral. i can’t quite pick out the blue musk but there is definitely a quality to it that makes me think of swimming in a pool on a hot night, especially out of the bottle. also i think this confirms that i do in fact like jasmine. so if you’re a jasmine fan, this will probably be a win. i though this would be my least favorite from the bottle sniff but i foresee this aging well and im considering a backup bottle…

side note: this reminds me A LOT of the GC Twilight but my bottle is barely a day old so that may change with time.

  11. fresh from the mail impression: green musk? this is green and fruity instead of green and forrest-y so it’s already going better than most green scents for me. there is

something sophisticated about this scent. idk what exactly i mean by sophisticated but it doesn’t feel like “little kid” perfume. it’s out of my comfort zone for sure as i usually go for sweet gourmands but i can see myself wearing this when it’s hot. i can make out the guva but not berries and something herby that’s probably the bruised lavender. it’s on the clean side of green so i hope this sweetens up as time goes on but im definitely keeping this at least until the spring just to see how it goes with warmer weather. medium throw.

oh… had to let this really dry on my skin but once it did, this is good stuff. the berries are coming out more and the green musk faded to the background. i think this is going to need some rest and it’s going to stellar come spring/summer. a lovely and refreshing fruity green.

  12. skin test after 12ish hours rest: there is something very sexy about this (shocker). it’s sweet and sour in a way that makes me think of peach rings candy. it stays more real than perfumery and i can see this doing some emotional damage and causing summer flings. it’s yummy and juicy but not quite ripe, this peach was just picked. Between this and Peach Milk, RS Peach has a better throw. That said, it’s the kind of scent that makes you want to nuzzle up to someone and sniff real close. I've never smelled smut so I can't compare but to me this definitely doesn't have the spiciness of SO its much much smoother. It's hard to pick out anything under the peach but it wears incredibly well and honestly this could have been a Luper scent, it really is that sexy.

  13. skin test after 12ish hours rest: i'm not getting any snake milky caramelized/scorched milk at all but this is definitely creamy instead of powdery like snake milk so i'm happy! it makes me think of Arcana's Strawberry Milk but sub peach for strawberry. there is also something about this that makes me think of Flintstone vitamins but it's probably something "vitamin c-ish" about all the peach business that's making the association. after some dry time i definitely see the peaches and cream oatmeal comparison but this is not a foodie blend imo it stays more on the perfume side of things. this is not candy peach, this peach has been ripe for a while and fell off the tree.

I think this one is going to need some rest to reach its full potential but I'm super excited to see where it ends up and I'm glad to have another bottle to add to my "milk note" collection.

  14. skin test after 12ish hours rest: this smells like fruity rain. this is one of the better “water” scents imo because so far it’s not soapy at all. just a wet, juicy, fruity, watery scent. all the fruit notes bursting with ripeness without going rancid. everything has been muddled in a glass and it makes want a cocktail with gin. 😆 it’s aquatic without being aquatic. I can't really pick out one scent over another except what I think is blue musk because it literally smells musky and "blue" lol but everything else blends super well together into something fruity but not quite edible. this is not a foodie scent per se but it's close enough for a gourmand lover like me!

I think as more people smell it, it's going to become very popular! It's not really a fall or cool weather scent for me though, something about it feels warm and humid so I'm not sure how much wear it will be getting in the next few months but I can see myself reaching for it on slushy, snowy, wet weather days.

And now that this review is over I think I just talked myself into getting a back up bottle...

  15. I grabbed this from a lot of atmos on ebay and I feel so lucky that i'm getting both Samhain (leaves, spices, pumpkin) and the cinnamon sugar/candy dust! This is perfect for this time of year and is putting me in a wonderful fall mood. It also lasts all day (and night) so I really only need a couple sprays in 1 room every fews days and it scents the whole top floor of my place. I would love to be able to get more of this!

  16. fresh orange pumpkins and peaches with a little bit of spice. this is a bright and sunny scent and to me it smells exactly as described, i just wish it had better throw and lasted longer on the skin for me. 😭

  17. i'm willing to rest this and try again in a couple of weeks but out of the mail it smells like mint chocolate pencil shavings... 😓

i'm not surprised because cedar tends to not work for me but i was hoping the moss would be stronger since its green cedar..? i have no idea i just know that i don't like it. glad i smelled it thought because i'm starting to suspect cedar may be a deathnote for me. i've yet to experience it not go complete pencil shavings or hamster cage on my skin. also, as much as i love gourmands, chocolate isn't really one of them and mint chocolate kind of smells like toothpaste. i rather get my chocolate as a mocha or mint from candy canes. 🤷🏾‍♀️

  18. I got this from @doomsday_disco, I couldn't pass on the concept and cool label art!

in the bottle medical, sweet, aquatic, almost stomach churning but i want to smell it? i don’t usually do aquatic or medicinal so i’ve never smelled anything like this.

wet is fizzy cola? no, ozone and herbs. no, back to fizzy cola. its a warm and wet smell with a little green and a little sweet. this smells like medicine again but good? like an herby medicine my dad would make for me. it seems it’s decided to be cherry cola medicine for a while, I dig it. oh nope, we are back to ozone. this makes me want to try more ozone and rain scents, wow.  partner says it smells like incense which is so interesting because I really avoid those kinds of scents but I think that's the sweetness. its almost headache inducing so if I wore this it would have to be a tiny dab or behind the knees.

dry is even sweeter, i definitely understand why they said incense now. hmm I'm not an incense person at all so idk about this. I definitely would not have usually bought this for myself but this was a novelty buy. I wanted to smell what something aged was like and i can definitely see how incense would become strong. hmm it almost smells like fizzy pop incense. I did not expect this to get so sweet! I wonder if I boost sweet or if this is the oil? do I like incense smells? what is happening? I seriously considered scrubbing several time because of the almost headache but I powered through and now I like it? I think I'm getting leather now? something warm and dark. oh my god, its cinnamon! oh I love this. I have to breath deep to get it now but its cinnamon/spice with a touch of fruit skin scent. yeah this is a wear at home because i wont stop smelling myself.

this morphed so much! it's been about 5 months and this has been my go to office perfume. I still love it but I feel like it doesn't last as long on me.

my plan is to use up what I have and make my own lab rat with my favorite imps! I seriously love this art so much!

  19. in the bottle it makes me think of chocolate coffee not pumpkin spice. it also reminds me of candy like old root beer barrels or old hard caramels.

wet is more of the same with a little vanilla. my partner said “it’s what headshops should smell like” (high compliment from them). still not getting “pumpkin spice” per say but gourds and spice? I had never smelled og snake oil before this but this was what I imagined “vegetal”  smells like, the gourd/root veggie/earth smell. (I'm into it… maybe i do want to smell like dirt?)

dry there’s more vanilla and spices (but not spicy, ya know? its a cool spice). I can't quite tell if the vanilla is creamy or powdery but I can’t complain either way. oh and the coffee comes back in the background. yum!

I bought this from a forumite to be my fall scent so I'm excited for this to sit around for a few months although I did find myself wearing it over the summer. it just smells better as time goes on and there's actually some good throw from a tiny dab from the cap (god bless). I've never smelled boomslang but I definitely could see why people would say these are similar based on the notes.

ultimately, it also makes me nostalgic for something I can’t quite place (is it chocolate scented markers, root beer lip smakers, tootsie rolls, fake chocolate baby doll smell??) its subtle but interesting and I imagine a lot of future layering potential, a big plus for me. blind buying wins again.

  20. I’m on a quest for milks (peach milk I’m coming for you!!) and I couldn’t pass this one up if only for novelty sake. my impression was that it was going to be a soft sweet and tangy milky perfume. I was nervous about the white chocolate note though. I typically don’t like chocolate notes and i’m not a huge fan of white chocolate irl.

in the bottle this smells like egg nog or maybe cereal milk. my partner said it smelled like gingerbread which I totally understand even though I didn’t really smell it. also wow this is strong, but will that translate to a lot of throw?

wet it’s sweet and spice. spice cookies and milk? I think I'm getting a bit of the honey dust here which is adding dryness to all the wet. I can’t truly discern any one of anything but it’s all really lovely. I’m a newbie so I guess that means that this is really well blended! I thought this one would be a gourmand but it definitely has more of a traditionally perfumery smell to me. surprisingly, i don’t mind it…

dry I can start to pick out some notes. marshmallow is the the first thing I can recognize in all of this sweet. I’m loving this and I can see myself layering it with everything (hello lick it’s and snake milk). as time goes on I think the vanilla cashmere starts to come out as well because there is something reminiscent of a sweater about it. it definitely gets gentler overtime and i really have to stick my nose in it to smell but after about an hour I’m getting the white chocolate anchoring with the honey dust and it’s quite nice. When wet this almost teetered on being too sweet even for me a certified gourmand fiend. thankfully, it lightens up as time goes on.

I don’t love this but i really like it and i can see myself using it regularly for layering! It sweetens in a different way than Sugar Cookies with Extra Sugar (my current go to sweetener) and I’m digging having options. the only thing missing for me is more of a tang from the goat’s milk. this is indeed the ghost of a milk and I want more milk! I might have to finally brave trying White Larry to get it…

  21. I’ve been eyeing this one and I was lucky to scoop up a decant because I was very close to blind bottling and I think I would have been disappointed. Rose is usually a slam dunk but this one is tricky…

in the bottle dewy roses, very promising.

wet is very juicy roses, fresh cut from the garden. it’s a green sort of rose smell that makes me think of pink roses over red. I haven’t smelled the lab’s snow note before but this is coming across to me as sweet vanilla and powdery. i was hoping for more of a minty snow though… pleasant but i want the mint! Or even coconut snow but I’m not getting that either, just sweet. hmm, i wonder if what i’m perceiving as powder is actually fur…

dry fresh out of the mail was awful. I understand why people don’t like rose now. it went straight to rose soap and something that made me think of cat pee and sweat (ugh, tends to neutralize my funk so maybe that's why? no idea about the cat pee). dry day two is much more powdery/snowy than roses and I'm not sure if I'm into it.

I don’t hate this but it’s definitely not what I wanted. I'm not sure why I thought this would be more gourmand-y but to me it’s firmly in the clean laundry perfume camp.  I also think my skin is eating all the rose and that’s why it smells so clean to me. I'm getting mostly snow and fur/musk and the little bit of rose I do get is the gentle rose scent you find in skin care and cleaning products (I would totally buy this as laundry detergent… hmm maybe an atmos spray would be nice?). this is the cleanest bear ever and I think I was expecting something a bit dirtier.

*side note: I am on my period so I think that may be affecting things, especially since my skin loves rose so much. i’ll test again in 2 weeks and see if anything changes. I'm glad to have finally tried this! I love the name and the imagery and I think it will be lovely around the holidays. I want every blanket I'm snuggling to smell like this.

  22. American Gods is a favorite of mine and I’ve been looking forward to trying something from this collection.

in the bottle cool vanilla and sweetness. my partner described it as a snuggly scent and I agree.

wet has gorgeous almost peppery florals starting to come out with the vanilla and it’s lovely. the salty ambergris is just underneath everything too. this is another very well blended scent, nothing particularly stands out more than anything else and yet they all work together to elevate each other.

dry is both gentler and stronger somehow. this scent kind of comes and goes on me like I almost forget im wearing it and then I get a whiff. a ghost of a perfume is a great descriptor! i can also see the comparison to ghost milk while they don’t really smell the same they remind me of each other (and smell fantastic layered together 😍). This makes me think of a fancy perfume but the perfume is being casual about it.

vanilla and floral, gentle yet complex, snuggly and comforting. I think this perfume captures the character of Zorya P perfectly. I can totally imagine smelling this before actually seeing her and I bet getting a hug from someone wearing this is divine (pun intended 😝). There is something almost sexy and very intimate about this scent, it makes me think of nighttime... I think I love this and a full bottle purchase is very likely.

  23. I tried to convince myself not to buy a full bottle for several months after receiving a sniffie because it smells so similar to another perfume I already own a oil dupe of and never wear. But after getting an imp to try and tide myself over I decided to just get a full bottle anyway, whoops. While the other perfume has a sharpness to it that is almost headache inducing the tang from this that comes from fleur de lait is so much creamier. I love rose and so does my body, I can't tell if I amp them or eat them but I know that I tend to gravitate to rose blends in all aspects of my skin and body care and this is definitely ROSE. I think I might also like peonies but I can't really pick them out over the rose. The rest of the notes mostly get eaten up except for at the end of the day where I smell like goat's milk (leftover fleur de lait i assume) and amber (yum also i would totally buy that duet if it ever existed).  Roses and milk... apparently that's what I want to smell like now... and somehow it's working.

Also as a former Lush employee I think the comparisons to Rose Jam are accurate.
