The dead leaves note in BPAL does not seem to be my thing (yet?), but, I love it in real life. So, I've been looking for something with leaves in it to enjoy...and this seems to be it! I don't know enough about the notes individually to say which stick out for me, but, I can say it has a bright and clean (not soap, not linen) smell hiding in all that fresh and dried leafy/earthy softness. To my inexperienced nose, it smells like there is a touch of something like Glasgow hiding behind the softness. This is a great scent for all.

One of my favourite desserts to make is roasted/baked peach halves served with a spoonful of Devon custard. This almost smells like a perfume version of that. When first applied, it is a very tart peach scent on me. It's quickly rounded-out by the toasted cream...very comforting. The coconut and marshmallow/vanilla are there, but faint. I assume they will present more with age (tested this right out of the mail). I bought four of the Dragon Con scents and this is in a tie for #1 with Georgia Peach, Oakmoss & Sage!

I don't get the "masculine" or chemical edge other reviewers note. I suspect I amp peach as I get a strong, bright peach note with the other ingredients blending well to give depth and longevity. It's a gorgeous peach perfume! 🍑

This is a very lovely light creamy vanilla on me. I don't get much pear at all, but still, it's delightful. Hoping the pear will come out more after it settles (I tested it straight out of the mail). If you like Antique Lace or FLFC, you'll love this!

I don't have a lot of experience with oudh, but blackberry is a favourite of mine, so had to take a chance...I LOVE IT! The sweet blackberry stands out at first, with the oudh coming out more in the dry-down. I agree with the others that the oudh has an almost inky quality. I'm already thinking of getting a second bottle! 💜
