RoseThornandOak's impressions are probably where mine lie... My spouse says it's baby powder...which isn't wrong but I wouldn't say right either. I LOVE the skin musk here but yeah, could do without the powderiness. The vintage aldehyde perfume note is interesting and is where I think the powder is. So, the first hour or two I have to tolerate what husb's calls stripper baby powder..and then it's a smutty skin musk that I cannot get enough of. It's got some good staying power though, I'll give it that.

Orange blossom and I do not vibe, but I figured I'd do a teeny tiny test patch just to know what this could smell like... It's a bit sharp wet and in the bottle, and I think it's the spicy ginger and clove... On skin, tolerable but I don't love nor hate it. The dry down really makes me think of a dry sake which I don't think I was entirely expecting... It's overall a dry herbal on me that I don't care for.

This is brought to you by my hand painted egg mug I had received from a dear cousin several years ago...which I think would be cute to be stuffed with extra goodies because it's still an egg to stuff, right??? I am sort of picky with mugs, mostly because I prefer most of my mugs to be able to support a Vietnamese phin (standard mugs are generally good) and/or it has to be something I absolutely love (otherwise I'd have entirely too many mugs that I don't use). Also ideally dishwasher safe but not opposed to those that need a little extra care. HOWEVER, swaps are the exception to my rule - if you find something too good to pass up, go for it! I will make a place for it in my home? Glassware... I'd love to eventually own at least one piece of uranium glass (glows under a blacklight and is a nod to my degree). What are your thoughts on these? These are all so stinkin' cute!!! My soft spots are for the goldfish and hamster! LMK if you have any aversions/sensitivities to ACTUAL rose(s). As if someone were to send you flowers... No real issues, only excessive pollen makes me die a little. Would you be interested in any of these baked goods? Like MamaMoth, I also enjoyed cubeb in Crib Girls which led me to this duet! This is dusty cacao that's a touch creamy, and the cubeb is zingy! It almost cinnamony and is the star for the first few hours of wear. Then it softens into that cacao with hints of cubeb, but more lemony cubeb. Throw is okay but good longevity. Pretty straightforward of a scent.

Admittedly I bought this because it came up when I had asked about cherry forward scents, and uhm, I'm disappointed in that regard. On the flipside, I'm digging the fruity (red and maybe a blood orange?), slightly spicy tang to this! There's a strange metallic tang to it that I can't place, but I love it. I only wish this lasted longer on me... My skin totally ate this up within two hours. I am the sad.

OKAY, THIS THING HERE. I finally got my grubby little hands on this because I love BPAL's champagne note. Holy bananas this was like a champagne single note! I did not get the marshmallow until hours and hours later, and at that point, it was like a hint of marshmallow under the champagne. Very fizzy in the bottle, just as fizzy on skin. Wishing I got more marshmallow but still a blind buy win.

hold on. I will have to come back to update this because I just realized I was wearing Welcome Unto Thee when I wrote that. No wonder that didn't make sense to me. ...I'M BACK WITH THE CORRECT 'FUME ON HAND. The lab's champagne note is still beautiful and sparkly. Very champagne forward opening, so I'm very on board with this. The vanilla is there but way in the back, hanging out. It definitely starts to come forward as this dries down, supporting the champagne. I think the amber holds it all down well (I do enjoy a lovely amber, but this does get a hair powdery, but think vanilla powder with a hint of sweetness). The ultimate dry down is a slightly powdery vanilla amber that, like what others have said, gives cream soda vibes. Good longevity.

Very pear! I sort of forgot that there was going to be pear in this one, hoping for much honey, skin musk and orris root... And it's okay! Still very enjoyable, just more pear than I was expecting. I get more fruit sweet than I do from the honey. It lasts wonderfully on me, so I think one bottle might be enough but we'll see.

I've inadvertently been on a cardamom kick, and I love a good coffee scent... So this fit the bill. The only downside to Silvery Accents is that it has no longevity on me. The cardamom and fir are beautiful with the coffee, and while I can't place the spices, this is a velvety kind of scent. Coffee aside, this is what I had hoped Velvet Snow would be like...but that one ended up becoming an extra fuzzy dryer sheet on me (is that you, myrrh). It at least dries down to a very velvety skin scent, the spices faint. Oh! This makes me think of Turkish Coffee!

As advertised, but marshmallow is pillowy and soft. It's not cloyingly sweet as the peppermint cuts throw the cotton candy but never overwhelms it. The candy cane mint here is not as sharp as that in Pink & Blue Candy Canes, at least to me. In a way this is like a much less sweet version of BBW's Twisted Peppermint that I also love but have to use sparingly for how tooth-achingly sweet it is. Wearing this puts me in a very happy place.

From the bottle, I get that artificial strawberry candy followed swiftly by the mint of candy canes. I love it already. On my skin, I get the same thing. As it dries the vanilla and blueberry peek through and it's a soft breath mint. It reminds me of the pillow mints minus the buttery note. Sweet, minty, refreshing yet comforting. Berry cotton candy mint. If I didn't just spill it all at my desk, I'd venture to wear this as a sleepy-time scent. Good throw and sillage. I also love why this blend was made, an excellent blind buy... Now only if I didn't spill half of my bottle?

HONEY. MUCH HONEY. Which I love, so that's great. A rich honey at that, which...I'm guessing is the labdanum. I'm not super familiar with that note, and scents with it have been a hit or miss on me...but This more than Bloody Deed is so good. Maybe it's what helps the honey hold its ground on my skin. No idea where the vanilla?‍♀️

This starts out as a very thick fudgey brownie (which I have been craving because work stress), much chocolate with a hint of coffee which I think is like the secret ingredient to making some damn good brownies. The smokiness is subtle, I love it. Eventually it settles and the cardamom comes out! It's more like cardamom and cocoa vs chocolate, but just as yummy imo. I trust that the amber is there, anchoring it all. This isn't super sweet either, other than that initial fudge brownie opening. This was an excellent blind buy for me! I will note that it's low throw and lasted about 5 noticeable hours on me.

I don't know where to begin with this one except it smells like being outside on a dark snowy night with the mob holding torches... I get the starry musk and snowdrift right away from the bottle and while wet on my skin...then the peppercorn and ashes come through but nothing overwhelming. The art is excellent and the oil complements it well. Good sillage and longevity. Not something I'd reach for often but I'm sure I have enough occasions to bring it out.

As a cherry fiend, I will chase down anything that has a prominent cherry note (interpret that as you will). What a cherry blast of a start! Strong candied red cherry! It was beautiful but fleeting (however it lasts longer than Blood Squib on me). The transition to the rose musk was weird - we had a baby powder phase that isn't terrible...and it lingers. Then I get into a green leaning fresh rose... And from there it's between baby powder and fresh rose. No cherry anywhere in the dry down on me, whomp whomp.

I've been utterly obsessed with anything beeswax and amber, and since I've never had an issue with balsam, I FS'd this pretty blindly (decant came, sniffed it, and promptly got a bottle order in thereafter). tbh I don't truly know what balsam is or how it smells on its own.... Is it the weird tang I first get when wearing this? Maybe? I've never had an amber act/smell like that so that's my thought. Anyway, it's a weird bite to start and then settles into that gorgeous golden glow that I LOVE. Just a touch sweet. Great throw, can't get enough of it.

I'm hilariously confused with musk - just when I think I know it, everyone else's reviews make me second guess myself. Regardless, I'm low-key obsessed with this one! It's a buttery dusting of honey, my skin but better kind of deal. It wears close to the skin (haha hi skin musk), which is fine. I wear perfume primarily for myself so I'm in a lovely little bubble.

Ginger ale is too sweet and not punchy enough to me, but Spurious Cooter Bees is PUNCHY. So this smells more like ginger beer to me and I LOVE. Might hoard this one. In the decant/bottle and wet, it's very much like a ginger ale. Sweet, fizzy, a little gingery. Wear down though, that's when it gets punchy. Fizzy ginger is upfront and all up in my nose. The honey is there, but stays closer to my skin. This also starts out with good projection and then fades throughout the day. Overall I'm pretty pleased with it.

Very apricot and cream from the vial/bottle, and this is probably the only time I pick up on the floral-ness of the magnolias. I am a lot of cream, coconut and fig, with soft hints of apricot and magnolias, while wearing this. It's such a creamy scent that's just a touch sweet from the fruits. Like feyofthefellwood, this does feel like an ice creamy kind of blend. Creamy delicious goodness. I wish it'd last a little longer on me (best I got is 3ish hours top).

Gonna be upfront that my review is not going to be as eloquent as VetchVesper's. I was hoping for a graceful blueberry floral, but uh, it's just poopy to my nose from the vial. Like, what is happening. I was disappointed and did NOT want to try it, BUT I PUSHED THROUGH and it's okay. Like VetchVesper, it has a gentle blueberry with hint of coconut opening and then the florals comes through, being a bit pushier than I'd like. Overall it's white-floral forward, the blueberry-coconut lingering in the back. A fine, interesting balance of notes once I get it on my skin. Hours later, this is very pretty, softly sweet by the fruits. Sheer is definitely accurate. I'm happy to have tried this one as blueberry has been a recent rabbit hole I fell into.

This smells like the booziest cherry I've ever come across in the bottle, and seems promising. On application, the cherry actually lingers with the bourbon for a little before drying down to the spiced notes. It's mostly spice and hints of bourbon, the cherry being very hidden and feels more like medicinal cherry at this point. This cherry note lasts longer than that in Blood Squid SN, but still no real longevity. Sigh. Still amazing though.
