To me, this smells like salt, a hint of aquatic, and creamy white chocolate and marshmallow. It dries down into a salty chocolate-marshmallow scent that stays close to the skin. I like it.

Maybe I'm just hungry, but this smells like bell pepper and pineapple to me. I was hoping for a clay-like scent like in Lekythoi, but this is certainly . . . interesting. It does dry down weirdly wearable, but it's hard to shake the food association. Will see how it ages.

I almost passed this up and I'm glad I decided to get a bottle last minute. It reminds me of my beloved Neutral Tones, an earthy, herbal scent that dries down into a beautiful, musky ambergris.

I've tried a lot of strawberry scents, but this is one of my favorites so far. It starts out heavy on the strawberry cream and vanilla, similar to the strawberry milk Pink Moon, but as it dries I get interesting depth from the florals, amber, and sandalwood. Vasilissa is one of my favorite GC's and this is kind of a dolled up, sweeter version of it, to my nose. Cheerful and pretty.

In the bottle, I smell a light vanilla husk with a bright green scent like a freshly snapped twig. Unfortunately my skin turns that note into lemon pledge. I'll try it again once it ages a bit and see if it smooths out.

This smells almost entirely like vanilla cream to me. There's a hint of woodiness (which maybe includes the tobacco?) and blackcurrant, but mostly it's a vanilla cream skin scent, to my nose. I'm not complaining, but I'm not sure I will need more than a decant. If the tobacco emerges more, I think it could be really interesting.

Maybe I'm slowly becoming more of an aquatics person, but I really like this. It's crisp, a little floral, and has an almost melon-y scent on my skin. Over time the ambergris and salt foam become a lovely, bright skin scent, made a bit "colder" by the mint and blue musk. I didn't expect to like this one so much. It's a bit like Sea of Glass meets Dream of the Fisherman's Wife. I think it will be great for summer weather when I want to smell like something clean and cool.

I appreciate the previous reviews for putting this on my radar! I love variations on dirt and earth notes, and this silt note is quite beautiful: smooth and loamy, with a petrichor-ish tang. The moss note is less "dry" to my nose than in the oakmoss blends I've tried; it's a bit lighter and fresher. Overall, this is a calming and grounding scent.

I thought the white musk blends among the 2024 Weenies were really good. I particularly like My Soul Aquiesced in It (white rose, white musk, bitter almond, icy vanilla) and Vintage Pumpkin Blow Mold (white musk, sweet orange, crystalline amber, pumpkin rind), but I think there are others too.

I love this so much. I haven't been in love with a scent enough to immediately backup bottle in some time, but Lace Lichen got me. To me, this smells like a cross between the lichen-heavy Jugendstil: Summer 1896 and On Wednesday I Will Promise You a Phantom, which also had vanilla and ylang ylang.
The vanilla adds depth and sweetness here, but to me this isn't primarily a vanilla perfume. Ambergris has become possibly my favorite note of all time, and here it's so smooth and warm. I confess that I'm not very sensitive to orris, but I think it helps give this a "sheer" quality. The patchouli is earthy, but not overpowering or even that identifiable as patchouli to me. The ylang ylang adds a hint of tropical floral. It wears close to the skin but lasts a long time.
Overall vibe: a misty temperate rainforest, or something an elf or fairy would wear.

For the first couple hours of wear, I amp the incense and basalmic notes in this one, which completely overpower the vanilla. However, when it dries down it becomes a lovely dark, creamy vanilla with dark green moss that I really enjoy. I like wearing it to sleep and smelling the pretty dry-down in the morning.

I love the way this smells, but it's so faint! The mud note is realistic but gentle, and the vanilla note really smells like vanilla extract. I expected this combination to be weirder, but it's quite wearable IMO. I hope aging will give the vanilla more oomph. As it is, it's a lovely vanilla scent and it lasted on my skin all night, but I have to put my nose right next to my skin to smell anything.
Edit: it's gotten stronger after a couple days of rest, so I'm sure it will continue to. 😊

This is a soft, my-skin-but-better amber/vanilla scent that's gorgeous and wearable. The cardamom is more subtle than in most other blends I've smelled with it, but that hint of spice or earthiness complements the silky vanilla very well. I'll probably need a backup because it's a perfect everyday scent that's pretty but subtle. I look forward to trying some layering combos, too.
I think my aasimar characters would approve. 😊

This is so pretty. Powdery, delicate violet with an almost marshmallow vanilla. It doesn't have a lot of throw, but it lasts a good while.

A creamy, slightly powdery, almost vanillic white floral with a green undertone that kind of does smell poisonous. Unlike some white florals, this does not give me a headache or turn indolic. Strangely addictive and layers beautifully with vanilla.

2024 version. It smells primarily like vanilla cream (a note I love), with a hint of makeup and cherry. Soft, pretty, and mild.

I knew I should have just bottled this, because it's exactly what I hoped for from these notes. It's simple, creamy dark chocolate with a hint of whatever the blood note is. I'm unsure if it's a fruit note (pomegranate?) or dragon's blood, but it gives the scent a little bit of a perfumey edge that keeps it from being entirely hot chocolate. I'll update the review if I can figure out what the blood note reminds me of.

I really like this one, especially in the wet phase, where it's reminiscent of Streets of Detroit and motor oil/gasoline. It's dark, metallic, industrial. As it dries, the resins and vanilla sweeten the scent until it reminds me almost of a champagne note? This is a morpher, but it's also fresh out of the mail and I'm curious to see how the oud and vanilla age. So far, this is one of my two favorites of all the decants I ordered.

When I first got this I worried it would be too coconutty for me, but after a few days of rest I'm kind of obsessed. It's such a sweet, smooth vanilla that isn't as incensey or "dark" as some Snake Oil variants. A fluffy, cheerful Snake Oil, slightly gourmand and tropical but with that rich vanilla warmth.

I'm not usually drawn to orange as a note, but I loved the past vintage blow mold scents so I had to get this one. And I *love* it. To my nose, the crystalline amber is different from the plasticky, milky amber of the previous scents. It's lighter and quite ethereal. The white musk is the game gorgeous, gauzy note as in My Soul Aquiesced. The orange note is sweet, not at all sharp or high pitched. It reminds me of those chocolate covered candied orange slices. I don't detect much pumpkin. Maybe there's a hint of it if I really try to find it, but I keep forgetting this has a pumpkin note honestly.
This doesn't have much throw, but it lasts forever on me. I put it on one night and could smell it all throughout the next day. It's a backup bottle contender for me, and I'm not even an orange lover.

This is so pretty. ? I blind bottled thinking this would be like Tomie or Ava, and it has that fancy, cold vibe to it, but it also has a similar creamy, chilled vanilla as Snow White. I'm fairly neutral about white musk but I think it's really nice here, kind of floating and delicate. Overall this is a soft, cool, sweet rose that I think will be enjoyable for fans of Knave of Snowflakes, Katrina Van Tassel, and From Whose Eyes as They Glance Flowed Love.

To me, this is a hyperrealistic imitation of what it smells like if you put your face up to a lichen-covered branch that's damp from the rain (which I have done because I hike a lot). The frankincense gives this a faintly smoky scent as it wears. It's like a forest in a bottle.
-
To me, this is light and pretty and smells a bit like an expensive salon product, but also like classic BPAL (it has a hint of that effervescent cola-like incense to it). It's mineralic, but in a sparkly kind of way rather than an earthy one. It pairs well with The Grey Columns (grey and white amber), which is one of my favorite everyday scents. I wish there was a perfume version of this in addition to a HG.

Bless reviewers, because this wasn't originally on my radar, but as soon as I saw the petrichor comparisons I knew I needed it. And I love it.
It goes on very earthy and petrichor-ish, but it dries to a beautiful soft tobacco note gilded with honeyed beeswax. I've tried other tobacco/honey combinations but those were much heavier and sweeter than this. Overall, this is unusual but lovely.

This is possibly my favorite Snake Oil variant so far, even though lilac is one of my "like but not love" notes. There's something about the blend of dewy, fresh, lilac (plus maybe some green stem) and rich, spicy vanilla that's enchanting and addictive. The Snake Oil here also smells a bit smoother and "softer" than in some blends, maybe because it was pre-aged? Anyway, if you like Snake Oil and/or lilacs, don't sleep on this one.
