Spring Wildflower Honey, Grass, and New Mown Hay Atmosphere Spray
Biocarbons replied to doomsday_disco's topic in Atmosphere
Lightly sweet, fresh grass and hay. Slightly perfumey, but definitely less perfumey than the BPAL grass note has been in the past. If you enjoy the grass note, try this.- 2 replies

I did one spray of this and went nose blind for a while. This is STRONG. Very intense, a little goes a long way. Floral champaca and sandalwood intense. Incense dominant. The cream element doesn't stand out to me.

The oud is very green with a vetiver quality. The honey used is closer to BPALS black honey which is grapey smelling to me. Strong incense on dry down. I like how this settles into a slightly smoky, woody musky scent.

Those strawberry lychee hard candies with a swirl of cream and a spritz of citrusy sandalwood. I get more cream and sandalwood as this sits on my skin. See also, strawberry taffy.

Wet I get a burst of juicy pomegranate and wildflower honey, over wooly cedar and leather. A hint of incense. Comforting. Getting fruity wafts from this one. This settles into dry pomegranate, incense , wool, and leather. Warm, dry, comforting.

wet, I mostly get beeswax, copal, and balsam. As it sits on my skin, the lemony Frankincense and wax peak the recede. This settles into mostly dry beeswax and balsam again.

A pretty mimosa amber with a sprinkle of cardamom over dusty vanilla. This is what hoped the cardamom vanilla a few years ago would smell like.- 8 replies

A light, fresh mint and menthol over oak bark. The oak bark is mild. I really like this.

Tart juice with an effervescent and musky quality. It sweetens up as it sits on my skin. I like it, but it leans kool-aid.

Astringent, lemony pine with raw beets.Very earthy. Sort of floor cleaner-y. -
Resinous, jammy pine. Becomes more ashy as it sits on my skin. A bit foody.

Wet: vanilla marshmallow and a hint of strawberry. As the oil sits on my skin, the rose (white rose?) opens up and becomes the dominant note. It's not as sweet as was expecting. I like it, but I'm not sure it's something l'd wear. A nominally sweet, rose and pink marshmallow scent.

I swapped for an old, partial decant of this. On sniff: I can smell caramel outside the sample vial. On me: red musk, a little bit of caramel, vanilla, and spices (cardamom forward, maybe nutmeg?). A little bit foody but not a full on gormand. I expect you could get a similar scent by mixing scherazade with a vanilla cardamom scent. It's also similar to red lantern, and dark Delicacies which have a similar musky, spicy caramel base.

Incensy/spiced (nutmeg? Anise?) earth and deep moss. A bit soapy. The mystical bookstore in my hometown used to sell an incense that smelled like this.

This is fresh and grassy, with a punch of woody ginger. Lightly aquatic. The grapefruit rides alongside. Like if you mixed tennis match with lady of schalott.

I get powdery pink marshmallow with sandalwood (and a hint of strawberry). More sophisticated than rope pulley and less candy. Marshmallow fans should try this one.

This started out as cold steam with screechy rosemary booze and white tea, but settled into this refreshing tea and steam smell. I think this would be very refreshing to wear on a hot day.

Super earthy with an edge of brown banana peel, mixed with fig. The silk blends into the earthy notes and doesn't stand out to my nose. I really like this.

Wet, this was a soft matcha with sugar water and little bits of floral and fruit. Now its green tea and sakuma drops candy (fruit flavored hard candy). I really like how this one wears, but it's not quite what I was hoping for.

Sharp, cold pine needles. This is more bitter than I was expecting. I'm not mad about it. I think this would be refreshing during hot weather.

Wet, this was artificial mixed fruit flavor narcissus and wax, but after it settled, I got an interesting vintage blend of narcissus and rosewater with a nutty date note and a mineralic quality. Try this if you're interested in scents like Gun Moll or the Century Guild Kickstarter blends.

LOUD gas station Jasmine incense and buttery vanilla rice. Epic skin chemistry fail.
