    It Was Just a Cat

In the decant this was powdery at first; I let it sit a few days because it had a strongly cinnamon smell when it first arrived. That's gone now, and upon application it quickly dries down to the beautiful amber fur note of Inside the Golden Amber of Her Eyeballs. I'm also detecting a little bit of almond, I think? I love it.

    You Are Not Alone

I absolutely adore this. It's definitely meant to be worn on skin; I tried it both in my locket and on myself, and while it's lovely in the locket, it comes to life on skin. It is a warm, snuggly scent, lavender up top; almost a whiff of cigarette smoke when you open the bottle (not scary, I promise, I can't stand cigarette smoke); then quickly warming into the smell of some old comforting scent that's been on your clothes for ages that you just don't want to wash. I think there must be some vetiver in this since it reminds me a lot of Two Sheep and Two Goats...(and if you like that, you must try this). Honestly this felt like the back of a bar, or a library or old bookstore, something like that. It's so beautiful and evocative and comforting. I had a decant and ordered a bottle with the latest 13 because I found myself immediately wanting to wear it again.

    Perfectly Normal Childhood

Do you like Cardamom? Like...do you really, really like it? Then you simply must pick this up. I am a lover of the Card, so this was an insta-blind-buy for me. As expected, I love it. It is full of delicious Cardamom blasting you right up front. As it settles the cream and cake batter appear, blending beautifully. I absolutely love this.

Skin Musk, Cream & Honey Dust

This is gorgeous. It also morphs a lot on skin vs. locket. I wore it yesterday both ways; in the locket there's a warm, toasty, chewy note reminiscent of Harlow's Lace, if you're familiar with that. On my skin the honey and skin musk amp and mingle, and the toasted note fades. Both ways are fantastic. I blind-bottled this and it is a winner.

    Milk Chocolate & Honey Cream

I really love this. It was a blind-bottle purchase for me, and it did not disappoint. It wears pretty closely both wet and dry for me, and it has a warm honey mixed with the milk chocolate. There is almost an undertone of what I would call a chocolate-covered raisin candy. It is very comforting and has a lasting wear length.

To My Dear and Loving Husband

Damn, this is stunning. I get a slightly fizzy grape note with an elegant patchouli and vanilla. It's masterfully blended. Different notes waft up throughout the day. I think I detect the black tea as well, quietly hanging out in the background. I absolutely love this. It's comforting and beautiful.

    Green Lovebird

Wowwwwww I know it's gauche to relate the elegant and thoughtful creations here to candles from a certain behemoth in the candle industry, but Green Lovebird is evocative of a decades-old beloved candle from such a company. I loved the scent so much that I used to try and recreate it by mixing Vanilla and Mint perfumes. Now, finally, I have it! This is a vanilla mint that is both crisp and comforting all at once. I love it. Can't wait to try it with Pink Lovebird. The bottles look so cute together.

    Rope Pulley

Gorgeous. The strawberry in this is blended beautifully with the creamy marshmallow. Some strawberry scents can be plasticky on me but this is not. As it dries down it's a creamy marshmallow strawberry, but never ever sickening or overpowering. This will be a full bottle upgrade for sure.

    Pink Lovebird

This is awesome. Fresh out of the bottle it's a sweet mix of all the notes mentioned. In some ways it reminds me of Lola Lee Loo, but much lighter. (I think it's the cardamom evoking it.) The cardamom is front and center when I first apply, but it blends with the confetti cake and cotton candy pretty quickly. As it fades, it leaves a beautiful light scent of not-sickeningly-sweet cotton candy and sugar. It's a stunner. I don't yet have Green Lovebird, but look forward to layering and enjoying both. I also just adore the story.

    The Great Virgo Baking Show

mmmmmmm this is so good. It's a honey/pie crust/pecan mash of goodness. I can't stop smelling my arms.

    Coffee Beans & Copal

This definitely skews into Citronella territory on me. I can smell the coffee beans when I open the bottle, but it doesn't translate onto my skin. After a few hours the citronella aspect fades and there's a nice sweet scent left behind, but still no coffee bean.

    Vanilla Bean, Tuberose & Jasmine

Oh, this is lovely. The softest, most delicate vanilla plus jasmine and tuberose. Soft and gentle on my skin, would be a terrific oil for when I’m a little headachy but still want to smell nice.

    There Arose Such a Clatter

This is so delicious. Wet it’s a strong eggnog-cinnamon-gingerbread mix. It’s strong but not overwhelming. Then a curious thing happens. After about an hour, the softest hint of the “snow” that makes up a lot of the frostbitten series peeks out as the cinnamon, eggnog and gingerbread mellow. It’s a very soft hint though, which is great for me because I don’t love an abundance of that snow note. Here it’s just right, complementing the food notes and evoking that evaporated steam note. A beautiful blend and I’m glad I was able to obtain it thanks to lovely Silvertree fairying!

    Inesite Phoenix

I love this! It’s a soft, sugary rose floral with a nice kick from the guava. It’s a subtle scent that envelops you with a sugary air of beauty. All day I’ve been catching whiffs and loving it. Full bottle upgrade for sure.

    Zonked in Paris

I love this. It's a blast of strong creamy coffee - almost tiramisu-like - upon application. As it dries and fades, the vanilla ice cream notes become more pronounced and ultimately I end up with a tasty mix of both on my skin. So good.

    404: NOT FOUND v1

Everything z_z says is on point. As both a honey and tobacco lover, this was an instant buy for me when it hit Etsy. It's very boozy when you first open the bottle. I let mine sit for a few days before trying it because the booze note was so strong. It settled well after a few days. Upon application there's a very strong blast of boozy honey, almost like a honey throat lozenge. The booze note wears off quickly and a rich tobacco honey is left behind. It also pairs perfectly with the Honey, Balsam, Leather, and Bourbon Tobacco HG that was out recently.

    FORMULA SGHAN3: Birthday Cake

This delivers on its promise. It’s sugary buttercream frosted cake. It’s elegant though, as I’d expect with BPAL. Good wear time and medium- to low-throw on me. Doesn’t morph much once on, just fades. I love it.

    Wildflower Honey and Patchouli

This is gorgeous! When it first arrived I tried it fresh from the mail, and the honey dominated. After a week to rest, it's the most lovely sweet honey but with the patchouli blending underneath. Doesn't morph on my skin, just remains a beautiful light honey patchouli with good lasting power. It's reminiscent of a light version of Zoe and the Goat, if that makes sense.

    Aorta

This is really lovely when it first goes on...strong notes of Apricot and Roses. No vetiver (and I love vetiver). As it dries down the plum shows up, and ultimately it fades to an airy plum note. I enjoyed it tons but wish the wet notes lasted longer, so it would be more of a scent locket one for me.

    Sugar Cookie Hair Gloss

Whoever said Funfetti Cake is spot on. This is strong, rich, buttery cookies and funfetti. I hadn’t thought about the coconut but now that I see the other reviews I do concur that there’s a slightly coconutty note mixed in. It’s not strong, though, at least not to my nose. It’s mostly Funfetti cookie to me. Wear length on this one is long; I can still smell it in my hair even after showering.

Candy Canes, Powdered Sugar, Snickerdoodles, and Vanilla Cream

Mmmmm this is so good! It’s a blast of peppermint up front, and then very quickly settles into a baked goods scent. A faint whiff of mint wafts throughout wear, but it’s pleasant and mild. Mostly this is warm cookies. I’ve worn it a few times now and every time someone says “Man you smell good!”

    Sad Ted Behind the Wall

Liked this so much more than I anticipated, since many Strawberry scents can turn too sweet for me. This is however a really pure strawberry scent, tempered nicely by whatever the "rain splash" is. It doesn't morph much and wears nicely; just a clean, crisp Strawberry on me.

    The Palace of Versailles

The initial application is a minute or so of that almost barnyard-y oudh, but not strong like in some other blends. Then the jasmine blooms - literally - and it does indeed smell very classy and expensive. It wears well and I'm left with a beautiful deep jasmine for hours. Really interesting blend, and if you like jasmines this is a must to try.

    Secrets

This is really nice. The coffee blast on application is strong, but it mellows almost immediately on me to a gorgeous honey note with some slight sweetness that I assume is the cookies. The coffee also remains throughout. Thumbs-up. Editing to add: I'm trying this again a few weeks after my initial review and I like it even more. The blend has mellowed and there's a note of pipe tobacco that I didn't pick up on the first time around. It's like if coffee liquer was a very high-end perfume being worn while in a tobacco shop. I love it and this will officially be a full bottle purchase.

    Heart-Shaped Beanie on the Metro

I did not expect to love this as much as I do. It is gorgeous. The blend of orange blossom, rose, and sugar is just incredible. I love it. It's very rosy on application but then dries down with a definitely sugary orange blossom note. I couldn't stop sniffing my wrist. This will be a full size bottle buy for sure.
