Sorting time. In bottle: spicy. not a fan. hm. could get better. wet: interesting melting into the skin. Very SPICED with a bit of something else. dried on: OK this is a very image-y, evocative scent. Fell like I've just entered a seductive tarot reader's shop. Not incense kind of way, more intriguing. I like this, or I would on someone else. This is not me. I'm way more into ephemeral, flighty type of seduction. This is too heavy for me, but I'd totally be attracted to someone wearing this lmao. Adding it to sell pile.

Sorting through old stuff, since I have 2 imps thingy. In Bottle: Hm. Not sure what to make of this. Rather brimstone and leather-ish. Could go one of several ways, since my skin has a weird reaction to these more masculine/musky scents Wet: Ugh. Ok. Smells kind of like a heavily perfumed goth guy I once knew. not a pleasant memory. Dry: Why do I keep smelling this. It's changing but never in a good way. the leather-y scent has muted into a new age shop. Ugh. More and more incense less and less grounded in anything. Not sure what I expected. Seeing as it has patchouli, which seems to go to immediate painful incense on my skin, and musks which, in my limited testing, can be very fickle, I really think these are both going in the nope pile. Sad.

Sorting through collection. In bottle: musky sweet, I like it. Very Victorian. Wet: Hm. It's taking a weird turn. Ok let's wait this out. Dry: Is this what people mean by powdered? It smells like rotting Victorian tea service, or eating a doily. My wrist does NOT like this haha. Wow. In conclusion: My body utterly rejects this scent haha. First time I've had a scent go all powder on me. Def into the sell/swap pile with ye!

Running through my old collection, aged 10 years hah. In Bottle: Bit limey, little boozey? Whole lot of limes, reminds me of my fav bartender's "How Do I hold All These Limes" drink haha. Wet: Yep, definitely rum, and something sweet. Lime is fading. Dry: JFC, this dried AMAZING on me. It's definitely sweet and drunk. Evocative, makes me want to watch To Have and Have Not. I know it's rum and something. Looking at the notes - Definitely got the rum and sugar (read as sweet vanilla) and lime started out strong and faded to supporting the rum and lime. Definitely reminded me of a cuba libre. Not sure I pulled tobacco, but it's probably what leveled out the sugar cookie to sweet vanilla. DEFINITELY a keeper and adding it to my wishlist. SO good.

Testing an old bottle, sorting gifts I've gotten. I enjoy testing it and THEN reading the notes. Wet: Well, that's inTENSE. Spicy, musky, and something else. I really need to look up notes before I smell things hah. Dry, 10 min: No. no no no. I smell like a hippy smoker's cough. Oh god. Dry, 2 hrs: Time to write a review and write this off. DEFINITELY not my scent. Looks at notes: PATCHOULI. and musks. Musks go one of 2 ways on me - sexy or sour. These went sour and the patchouli killed it dead. Swap/sales pile ~

I wore this for the first time tonight as I'm trying to sort out if there are imps i want to keep vs pass on. In Bottle: Eh, I'm not wild about it. There's something I love and something I hate in here with another scent and I can't place it all. Wet: Something smells dank and orange. I like orange. Let's roll with it. Dry: It's a freaking roller coaster. After about ten minutes, it's sweet orange and some spice but two hours later that danky gross smell is back. On Forums: OH IT'S GOT PATCHOULI, patchouli tends to hate my skin. and my nose. But I'd def try something with orange or ginger again. It was just that one.... note. IDK. Definitely going in the swap/sale pile.
