    Gossamer v3

Gossamer is a light scent like most of the reviewers said, but its pretty and holds it's own all day without having to be re-applied. It goes on kind of soapy while wet and smells like good old Mr Bubble, but that goes away as soon as it starts drying. There's some type of flower in it, but I can't even try to say what. Its just soft and pretty and almost fluffy, and I agree that angels probably bathe in something that smells like this. My husband said he REALLY likes it, so its a winner. Sorry sweety, but this scent is way too feminine for you.

Mother Shub's Spiced Lait de Chèvre

This scent was a total surprise since Egg Nog from a few years ago didn't work because it only lasted maybe ten minutes. I barely notice the coffee here, but it's a creamy, sweet blend. It almost has a bit of a fresh vibe that I'm really liking. Darn, I didn't think I would need any more Yules, well, except maybe this one. It's a comfy scent.

    The First Soft Snow

With my first test of The First Soft Snow, I thought it smelled exactly like The Snow Maiden, but it's only similar until it dries. After it dries is when it really shines as it's own scent and it's really pretty. I think narcissis likes me. It actually smells similar to Skadi, and I'm happy I have a bottle, but I think one will be enough.

    Pink Snowballs

Yum. A rose I can wear! Pink Snowballs is better than when I tried layering Snow White and Rose Red. Its creamier than that and also creamier in my opinion that Katrina Van Tassel. Its definitely pink and girly and I really like it. Adorable.

    Ded Moroz

I love Ded Moroz! I can't stop sniffing my hand. It smells almost like a warm spearmint. Honestly I don't recognize any single note here as jumping out. Its so well blended that it just smells incredibly smooth. This could be an every day scent and not only for cold weather. Its cozy and as its drying the woods seem to be creeping in. Its soft yet dark, and completely wearable.

    País de la Canela

Pais de la Canela is beautiful and all cinnamon when I first tried it, but it dries down to all pine on me. I'm not sure I like that much pine, but I'm going to blame it on chemistry and having a cold. I loved the initial cinnamon stage though, so will have to try it again in a few weeks.

    Raven Moon

This is so weird, but when I tried Raven Moon a little over an hour ago, all I could think of is that it smells shiny, like a Raven looks. Its a work of art. The way I see it is that when Beth blends a scent its her interpretation of what that certain thing looks like, feels like, and smells like. I paint, but I can only paint what I see or experience, and my paintings are realistic representations of people and places that I've had contact with. This scent is like that. Its a perfect representation of a Raven that Beth created. I smell musk, vanilla, and myrrh, and the spicy pepper. It warms up a bit as it dries, but never loses that inital shiny black feel. I almost didn't order Raven Moon because I was afraid it wouldn't work and, I should have known better.

    Bite Me

When I first tried Bite Me I thought I would have to send it away. It was yucky burnt roses on me. Then I waited a few weeks and decided to try it again and what a difference. Now its yummy, sweet cream puffs of toasted almond with a tiny touch of rose. I actually like it now and I'm happy I gave it another chance. It seems like its going to age very well, and I just got a southern holiday cooking recipe book that has a Croquembouche recipe and it looks so good.

    Temple Viper

In the decant Temple Viper smells a lot like Snake Oil. Once its on I agree with Monster that it smells like Snake Charmer. I also smell a bit of grape, which seems to add a sweetness that SC doesn't have. Its one of those oils that never seems to dry completely. I like it, but doubt I would get a bottle since I already have enough Snake Charmer.

    Mlle. Lilith, Fortune Teller

Oh my gosh this is good. As its drying I keep smelling the orange blossom and coconut. I don't smell anything in this that's similar to Mm Moriarty. Its completely original. I didn't think I would like it at all, but its really pretty and not nearly as heavy as I expected it to be. I'm happily surprised.

    Mircalla, Countess Karnstein

On me Mircalla smells like a lighter, sweeter Smut. I think my decant will be enough, unless I test it again and find some clove next time. Its nice and seemed to last a while, but I was really looking forward to cloves.

    Cake Smash

Red velvet cupcakes with cream cheese frosting against a backdrop of Snake Oil, Dorian, and Doc Constantine! Cake Smash smells different to me than other cakey sweet scents. I smell the supporting notes; the Snake Oil, Dorian, and something that must be Doc Constantine, which I haven't tried. I like it more than if it was a single note cake. The additions of SO, Dorian, and Doc keep it from going too sweet, so for me its not too much like Beaver Moon or Beaverversary. I wore it to bed last night and woke up smelling like how day old Snake Oil smells. With everything it has going for it I bet its going to be even better when its aged. And the Lilith label is soooo cute! Love it!

    Hideous Heart

Hideous heart is everything I was hoping it would be. Its all cinnamon and cherry licorice and pretty. I thought it seemed light and slathered a little more, but it strengthens as I'm wearing it and lasts long. The cherry sticks around and stays a spiced up cherry/cinnamon with neither note outsmelling the other. I like it a lot. I think it would layer well with Suck It to add more cherry sweetness.

The Bow & Crown of Conquest

Like Schmoozy said this is intoxicating, and only a brilliant person (like Beth) could pull off a combination of notes including white musk and leather. I love white musk but usually suffer with the sinuses the entire time I'm wearing it. This doesn't do that for some reason, and although it seems more masculine, I think anyone could wear it. I don't smell the lavender at all. When dry its just sweet leather and I'm definitely going to get my husband to try it. Really nice scent. Warning: Be careful driving while wearing this. Its not good to drive with your nose stuck to your wrist.

    Skadi

I got to try Skadi, thanks to Waternight for a swap sniffie. At first its all pine, but then as its drying other notes such as berry come out and it becomes softer and sweeter. Its certainly a cold scent, but makes you feel warm while wearing it. The throw is excellent, and its also long lasting. Skadi reminds me of a combination of The Snow Storm and Shivering Boy, both of which I didn't keep . I think I like it better than the others though, but maybe for someone who's really wishing for Skadi to return, try layering The Snow Storm and Shivering Boy. I can see why Skadi is loved by so many.

    The Torture Queen

When I first put Torture Queen on it smells a little like shaving cream. I mean the men's kind. But after about a half hour its so good. The musk comes out and just smells wonderful. It really does smell white, and I love it! I just got the bottle from a swap, and depending how much I use it, I could see getting another bottle before the Carnival leaves. It's feminine and pretty. Edit: I wore this to work today and by the end of the day it smelled a lot like a non-minty version of Snow Flakes. I like it a lot.

    Suck It

Suck It is a nice soft cherry, almost like red licorice. Somewhere in the background I can smell the booze, but its still wearable. Its sweet and could be quite sexy, or could also be worn on a very young girl. My only problem is that my skin seems to eat it within such a short time. Otherwise, I like it.

    Pumpkin IV (2009)

Its amazing what a day can do for a scent. When I tested Pumpkin lV yesterday after my package arrived, I thought, noooo it smells like noxema. I tested it again this morning and its much better now. Its just spicy, clovey pumpkin now and I like it. I thought Pumpkin V was the winner, but now it has some competition. I'm predicting that this one will get even better with some aging considering how much nicer it is after one day. Great pumpkin scent!

    Sachs

Sachs is quite a pretty scent. It's subtle like the other reviewers have already said, and I think it would be perfect for work or for practically any time. I smell more chamomile than vanilla while its wet, then the vanilla comes out as its drying. It's not an in your face vanilla, but more soft and feminine. It's sexy and would be a good bedtime scent. I have to stick my nose to my wrist to smell it after a few hours, which is ok when you don't want a whole lot of throw. I like it. Edited 9/15/09: Ok, this scent is starting to grow into love. It's still soft, but wow, it's so pretty after its dried for a while. For some reason it reminds me of Fee when its dry.

    Boo

Oh Boo, I think I'm in love with you! You're everything I've wanted in other vanillas, and better than Antique Lace, Love's Philosophy, and Detestable Putrescence. The linen note in this gives it just the right amount of something extra to keep it from being single note vanilla bean, but doesn't make it smell like laundry. If any of my Weenie scents are going to need back up bottles, this is it. Love it!

    Pumpkin V (2009)

Pumpkin V is the most wearable pumpkin scent I've tried. It's like fresh pumpkin with a little coffee and a lot of spice. I can see myself wearing this a lot this fall. The throw is pretty strong, so just a dab is enough for me. I'm very happy with this scent and would love it as a candle or room scent. Hmm, maybe a good one to put on some potpouri so I can smell it all over the house. Love it!

    Grog

We were doing some cleaning last night and my husband pulls out an imp of Grog. He said he wore it to work last week and really likes it, so I tried it. It's definitely rum, but not so sweet that it isn't wearable. Now he wants me to get him a bottle of it! Why doesn't he tell me these things before I have two pending orders?

    High-Strung Daisies

Little Bird's review of High Strung Daisies is almost exactly what I wanted to say, so I won't repeat all of that. I just want to add that I wish it lasted longer than it does because it really is pretty. I could see giving this scent to a little girl to get her started with her collection. It smells so fresh and young. This might require a whole bottle to slather and love lavishly.

    Detestable Putrescence

Detestable Putrescence is pure buttercream on me. I don't get vanilla from it, or ice cream, and I'll have to test it again after it has a chance to settle to see if it changes. It seems like it might be a good layering scent.

    Black Butterfly Moon

Black Butterfly Moon is way more perfumey than I imagined it would be. It smells like how I would think a black butterfly would smell if they had a smell. When I see one land on my flowers I always think they look more exotic than other butterflies, and that's how this scent smells to me. It smells expensive, and for some reason, cold. I kind of like it, but don't love it.
